[O my descendants!

Surely

the One

has chosen

for you

the governance system,

so don't

you die

except

while you are

in submission].

witnesses

arrived to

Yaqoob

the death,

when

he said

to his descendants,

[Who will

you serve

from

after me?],

they said,

[We serve

your Master,

and Master of

your forefathers;

Ibrahim

and Isma'eel

and Ishaaq;

— an unchallenged master

singularly —

and we are

to Him

in submission].

That was

a nation

that

passed;

— for it

what

it earned

and for you

what

you earn —;

and not will

you be questioned

over what

they were

doing.

Say,

[I am satisfied

regarding God,

and what has been

sent down

to us

and what

had been sent

Ibrahim,

and Isma'eel,

and Ishaaq,

and Yaqoob,

and the descendants,

and what

was given to

Moosa,

and Essa,

and what

was given to

the revolutionary leaders

from

their Rabb,

— not

we distinguish (or form sects)

between

anyone

of them —,

and we are

to Him

in submission].

Then if

they are convinced

being similar to

what

you are convinced

about it,

then certainly

they are guided.

And if

they turn away,

then it is certain that

they are

discord.

Thus will suffice you against them

the One,

and He is

the Hearer,

the Knowledgeable.
