وَقِيلَ
And was said,
يَٰٓأَرْضُ
[O Earth!
ٱبْلَعِى
Swallow
مَآءَكِ
your water,
وَيَٰسَمَآءُ
and o sky!
أَقْلِعِى
Turn off
وَغِيضَ
and diminish
ٱلْمَآءُ
the water],
وَقُضِىَ
and came to be
ٱلْأَمْرُ
the command,
وَٱسْتَوَتْ
and (the Ark) was balanced
عَلَى
upon
ٱلْجُودِىِّ
the goodness;
ۖ
وَقِيلَ
and was said,
بُعْدًۭا
[(See you) later.],
لِّلْقَوْمِ
for the nation of
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
the people in darkness.

وَقِيلَ يَٰٓأَرْضُ ٱبْلَعِى مَآءَكِ وَيَٰسَمَآءُ أَقْلِعِى وَغِيضَ ٱلْمَآءُ وَقُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ وَٱسْتَوَتْ عَلَى ٱلْجُودِىِّ ۖ وَقِيلَ بُعْدًۭا لِّلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ And was said, [O Earth! Swallow your water, and o sky! Turn off and diminish the water], and came to be the command, and (the Ark) was balanced upon the goodness; and was said, [(See you) later.], for the nation of the people in darkness.

And it was said: O earth! Swallow thy water and, O sky! be cleared of clouds! And the water was made to subside. And the commandment was fulfilled. And it (the ship) came to rest upon (the mount) Al-Judi and it was said: A far removal for wrongdoing folk! - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Then it was said, [O earth, swallow your water! O sky, leave off!] The waters receded; the edict was carried out, and it settled on [Mount] Judi. Then it was said, [Away with the wrongdoing lot!] - Qarai, Ali Quli

Then the earth was told to swallow-up its water and the sky was ordered to stop raining. The water abated and God's command had been fulfilled. The Ark came to rest on Mount Judi. A voice said, [The unjust people are far away from the mercy of God.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

And it was said: O earth, swallow down your water, and O cloud, clear away; and the water was made to abate and the affair was decided, and the ark rested on the Judi, and it was said: Away with the unjust people. - Shakir, Habib

A voice cried out, [Earth, swallow up your waters. O sky, cease your rain.] The waters receded. The command was fulfilled. The Ark came to rest on Mount Judi. It was said, [Away with the wrong-doing people.] - Wahiduddin Khan

اور قدرت کا حکم ہوا کہ اے زمین اپنے پانی کو نگل لے اور اے آسمان اپنے پانی کو روک لے .اور پھر پانی گھٹ گیا اور کام تمام کردیا گیا اور کشتی کوئہ جودی پر ٹھہر گئی اور آواز آئی کہ ہلاکت قوم هظالمین کے لئے ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

حکم ہوا ——اے زمین، اپنا سارا پانی نگل جا اور اے آسمان، رک جا—— چنانچہ پانی زمین میں بیٹھ گیا، فیصلہ چکا دیا گیا، کشتی جودی پر ٹک گئی، اور کہہ دیا گیا کہ دور ہوئی ظالموں کی قو م! - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور حکم فرمایا گیا کہ اے زمین! اپنا پانی نگل لے اور اے آسمان! تھم جا اور پانی خشک کردیا گیا اور کام تمام ہوا اور کشتی کوہ ِ جودی پر ٹھہری اور فرمایا گیا کہ دور ہوں بے انصاف لوگ، - Ahmed Raza
