Already have We urged unto hell many of the jinn and humankind, having hearts wherewith they understand not, and having eyes wherewith they see not, and having ears wherewith they hear not. These are as the cattle - nay, but they are worse! These are the neglectful. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Certainly We have winnowed out for hell many of the jinn and humans: they have hearts with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, they have ears with which they do not hear. اور یقینا ہم نے انسان و جنات کی ایک کثیر تعداد کو گویا جہّنم کے لئے پیدا کیا ہے کہ ان کے پاس دل ہیں مگر سمجھتے نہیں ہیں اور آنکھیں ہیں مگر دیکھتے نہیں ہیں اور کان ہیں مگر سنتے نہیں ہیں -یہ چوپایوں جیسے ہیں بلکہ ان سے بھی زیادہ گمراہ ہیں اور یہی لوگ اصل میں غافل ہیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور یہ حقیقت ہے کہ بہت سے جن اور انسان ایسے ہیں جن کو ہم نے جہنم ہی کے لیے پیدا کیا ہے ان کے پاس دل ہیں مگر وہ ان سے سوچتے نہیں ان کے پاس آنکھیں ہیں مگر وہ ان سے دیکھتے نہیں ان کے پاس کان ہیں مگر وہ ان سے سنتے نہیں وہ جانوروں کی طرح ہیں بلکہ ان سے بھی زیادہ گئے گزرے، یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جو غفلت میں کھو ئے گئے ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور بیشک ہم نے جہنم کے لیے پیدا کیے بہت جن اور آدمی اور دل رکھتے ہیں جن میں سمجھ نہیں اور وہ آنکھیں جن سے دیکھتے نہیں اور وہ کان جن سے سنتے نہیں وہ چوپایوں کی طرح ہیں بلکہ ان سے بڑھ کر گمراہ وہی غفلت میں پڑے ہیں، - Ahmed Raza

اور کتنے جن و انسان ایسے ہیں جنہیں ہم نے جہنم کے لیے پیدا کیا ہے (یعنی ان کا انجامِ کار جہنم ہے) ان کے دل و دماغ ہیں مگر سوچتے نہیں ہیں۔ ان کی آنکھیں ہیں مگر وہ ان سے دیکھتے نہیں اور ان کے کان ہیں مگر وہ ان سے سنتے نہیں ہیں۔ یہ لوگ چوپایوں کی طرح ہیں۔ بلکہ ان سے بھی زیادہ گمراہ (اور گئے گزرے) ہیں۔ یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جو بالکل غافل و بے خبر ہیں۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
