He maketh the night to pass into the day and He maketh the day to pass into the night. He hath subdued the sun and moon to service. Each runneth unto an appointed term. Such is Allah, your Lord; His is the Sovereignty; and those unto whom ye pray instead of Him own not so much as the white spot on a date-stone. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

وہ دن کے اندر رات کو اور رات کے اندر دن کو پروتا ہوا لے آتا ہے چاند اور سورج کو اُس نے مسخر کر رکھا ہے یہ سب کچھ ایک وقت مقرر تک چلے جا رہا ہے وہی اللہ (جس کے یہ سارے کام ہیں) تمہارا رب ہے بادشاہی اسی کی ہے اُسے چھوڑ کر جن دوسروں کو تم پکارتے ہو وہ ایک پرکاہ کے مالک بھی نہیں ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

رات لاتا ہے دن کے حصہ میں اور دن لاتا ہے رات کے حصہ میں اور اس نے کام میں لگائے سورج اور چاند ہر ایک ایک مقرر میعاد تک چلتا ہے یہ ہے اللہ تمہارا رب اسی کی بادشاہی ہے، اور اس کے سوا جنہیں تم پوجتے ہو دانہ خُرما کے چھلکے تک کے مالک نہیں، - Ahmed Raza
