وَقَالَ

وَلَوْ

تَرَىٰٓ

ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ

مَوْقُوفُونَ

رَبِّهِمْ

يَرْجِعُ

بَعْضُهُمْ

إِلَىٰ

بَعْضٍ

ٱلْقَوْلَ

يَقُولُ

ٱلَّذِينَ

ٱسْتُضْعِفُوا۟

لِلَّذِينَ

ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟

لَوْلَآ

أَنتُمْ

لَكُنَّا
[untranslated]
مُؤْمِنِينَ

And those who disbelieve say: We believe not in this Qur'an nor in that which was before it; but oh, if thou couldst see, when the wrong-doers are brought up before their Lord, how they cast the blame one to another; how those who were despised (in the earth) say unto those who were proud: But for you, we should have been believers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

The faithless say, [We will never believe in this Quran, nor in what was [revealed] before it.] But if you were to see when the wrongdoers will be made to stop before their Lord casting the blame on one another. Those who were abased will say to those who were arrogant, [Had it not been for you, we would surely have been faithful.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

The unbelievers have said, [We shall never believe in this Quran nor in the Bible.] Would that you could see the unjust having been halted in the presence of their Lord, exchanging words among themselves. The oppressed among them will say to their oppressors, [Had it not been for you, we would certainly have been believers.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

And those who disbelieve say: By no means will we believe in this Quran, nor in that which is before it; and could you see when the unjust shall be made to stand before their Lord, bandying words one with another! Those who were reckoned weak shall say to those who were proud: Had it not been for you we would certainly have been believers. - Shakir, Habib

Those who deny the truth say, [We shall believe neither in this scripture nor in [any] that [came] before it.] Could you but see when the wrongdoers will be made to stand before their Lord, casting blame on one another! Those who had been weak will say to the arrogant ones, [Had it not been for you, we should certainly have been believers!] - Wahiduddin Khan

اور کفاّر یہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نہ اس قرآن پر ایمان لائیں گے اور نہ اس سے پہلے والی کتابوں پر تو کاش آپ دیکھتے جب ان ظالموں کو پروردگار کے حضور کھڑا کیا جائے گا اور ہر ایک بات کو دوسرے کی طرف پلٹائے گا اور جن لوگوں کو کمزور سمجھ لیا گیا ہے وہ اونچے بن جانے والوں سے کہیں گے کہ اگر تم درمیان میں نہ آگئے ہوتے تو ہم صاحب هایمان ہوگئے ہوتے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

یہ کافر کہتے ہیں کہ ——ہم ہرگز اِس قرآن کو نہ مانیں گے اور نہ اس سے پہلے آئی ہوئی کسی کتاب کو تسلیم کریں گے—— کاش تم دیکھو اِن کا حال اُس وقت جب یہ ظالم اپنے رب کے حضور کھڑے ہوں گے اُس وقت یہ ایک دوسرے پر الزام دھریں گے جو لوگ دنیا میں دبا کر رکھے گئے تھے وہ بڑے بننے والوں سے کہیں گے کہ ——اگر تم نہ ہوتے تو ہم مومن ہوتے—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور کافر بولے ہم ہرگز نہ ایمان لائیں گے اس قرآن پر اور نہ ان کتابوں پر جو اس سے آگے تھیں اور کسی طرح تو دیکھے جب ظالم اپنے رب کے پاس کھڑے کیے جائیں گے، ان میں ایک دوسرے پر بات ڈالے گا وہ جو دبے تھے ان سے کہیں گے جو اونچے کھینچتے (بڑے بنے ہوئے) تھے اگر تم نہ ہوتے تو ہم ضرور ایمان لے آتے، - Ahmed Raza

اور کافر کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نہ اس قرآن پر ایمان لائیں گے اور نہ اس سے پہلے نازل شدہ کتابوں پر (یا نہ اس پر جو اس کے آگے ہے یعنی قیامت اور اس کے عذاب پر)۔ (اے پیغمبر(ص)) کاش تم دیکھتے جب ظالم لوگ اپنے پروردگار کے حضور (سوال و جواب کیلئے) کھڑے کئے جائیں گے (اور) ایک دوسرے کی بات رد کر رہا ہوگا چنانچہ وہ لوگ جو دنیا میں کمزور سمجھے جاتے تھے وہ ان سے کہیں گے جو بڑے بنے ہوئے تھے کہ اگر تم نہ ہوتے تو ہم ضرور ایمان لے آئے ہوتے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
