And unto Solomon (We gave) the wind, whereof the morning course was a month's journey and the evening course a month's journey, and We caused the fount of copper to gush forth for him, and (We gave him) certain of the jinn who worked before him by permission of his Lord. And such of them as deviated from Our command, them We caused to taste the punishment of flaming Fire. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

We made a fount of [molten] copper flow for him, and [We placed at his service] some of the jinn who would work for him by the permission of his Lord, and if any of them swerved from Our command, We would make him taste the punishment of the Blaze. - Qarai, Ali Quli

(We made subservient to) Solomon the wind that travelled a month's journey in the morning and a month's journey in the evening. We made a stream of brass flow for him and some of the jinn worked for him by his Lord's command. We would make whichever of them (jinn) who turned away from Our command to suffer a burning torment. - Sarwar, Muhammad

اور ہم نے سلیمان علیھ السّلامکے ساتھ ہواؤں کو مسخر کردیا کہ ان کی صبح کی رفتار ایک ماہ کی مسافت تھی اور شام کی رفتار بھی ایک ماہ کے برابر تھی اور ہم نے ان کے لئے تانبے کا چشمہ جاری کردیا اور جنّات میں ایسے افراد بنادیئے جو خدا کی اجازت سے ان کے سامنے کام کرتے تھے اور جس نے ہمارے حکم سے انحراف کیا ہم اسے آتش جہّنم کا مزہ چکھائیں گے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور سلیمانؑ کے لیے ہم نے ہوا کو مسخر کر دیا، صبح کے وقت اس کا چلنا ایک مہینے کی راہ تک اور شام کے وقت اس کا چلنا ایک مہینے کی راہ تک ہم نے اُس کے لیے پگھلے ہوئے تانبے کا چشمہ بہا دیا اور ایسے جن اس کے تابع کر دیے جو اپنے رب کے حکم سے اس کے آگے کام کرتے تھے اُن میں سے جو ہمارے حکم سے سرتابی کرتا اس کو ہم بھڑکتی ہوئی آگ کا مزہ چکھاتے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور سلیمان کے بس میں ہوا کردی اس کی صبح کی منزل ایک مہینہ کی راہ اور شام کی منزل ایک مہینے کی راہ اور ہم نے اس کے لیے پگھلے ہوئے تانبے کا چشمہ بہایا اور جنوں میں سے وہ جو اس کے آگے کا م کرتے اس کے رب کے حکم سے ادر جو ان میں ہما رے حکم سے پھرے ہم اسے بھڑ کتی آ گ کا عذاب چکھائیں گے، - Ahmed Raza
