Hast thou not seen how Allah wafteth the clouds, then gathereth them, then maketh them layers, and thou seest the rain come forth from between them; He sendeth down from the heaven mountains wherein is hail, and smiteth therewith whom He will, and averteth it from whom He will. The flashing of His lightning all but snatcheth away the sight. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Have you not regarded that Allah drives the clouds, then He composes them, then He piles them up, whereat you see the rain issuing from its midst? And He sends down hail from the sky, out of the mountains that are in it, and He strikes with it whomever He wishes, and turns it away from whomever He wishes. The brilliance of its lightening almost takes away the sight. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Do you not see that God moves the clouds gently, brings them together, piles them up, and then you can see the rain coming from them. He sends down hailstones from the mountains in the sky. With them He strikes or protects from them whomever He wants. The lightening can almost take away the sight. - Sarwar, Muhammad

کیا تم نے نہیں دیکھا کہ خدا ہی ابر کو چلاتا ہے اور پھر انہیں آپس میں جوڑ کر تہ بہ تہ بنا دیتاہے پھر تم دیکھو گے کہ اس کے درمیان سے بارش نکل رہی ہے اور وہ اسے آسمان سے برف کے پہاڑوں کے درمیان سے برساتا ہے پھر جس تک چاہتا ہے پہنچادیتا ہے اور جس کی طرف سے چاہتا ہے موڑ دیتا ہے اس کی بجلی کی چمک اتنی تیز ہے کہ قریب ہے کہ آنکھوں کی بینائی ختم کردے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

کیا تم دیکھتے نہیں ہو کہ اللہ بادل کو آہستہ آہستہ چلاتا ہے، پھر اس کے ٹکڑوں کو باہم جوڑتا ہے، پھر اسے سمیٹ کر ایک کثیف ابر بنا دیتا ہے، پھر تم دیکھتے ہو کہ اس کے خول میں سے بارش کے قطرے ٹپکتے چلے آتے ہیں اور وہ آسمان سے، اُن پہاڑوں کی بدولت جو اس میں بلند ہیں، اولے برساتا ہے، پھر جسے چاہتا ہے ان کا نقصان پہنچاتا ہے اور جسے چاہتا ہے ان سے بچا لیتا ہے اُس کی بجلی کی چمک نگاہوں کو خیرہ کیے دیتی ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

کیا تو نے نہ دیکھا کہ اللہ نرم نرم چلاتا ہے بادل کو پھر انہیں آپس میں مِلاتا ہے پھر انہیں تہہ پر تہہ کردیتا ہے تو تُو دیکھے کہ اس کے بیچ میں سے مینہ نکلتا ہے اور اتارتا ہے آسمان سے اس میں جو برف کے پہاڑ ہیں ان میں سے کچھ اولے پھر ڈالنا ہے انہیں جس پر چاہے اور پھیردیتا ہے انہیں جس سے چاہے قریب ہے کہ اس کی بجلی کی چمک آنکھ لے جائے - Ahmed Raza
