And thou mightest have seen the sun when it rose move away from their cave to the right, and when it set go past them on the left, and they were in the cleft thereof. That was (one) of the portents of Allah. He whom Allah guideth, he indeed is led aright, and he whom He sendeth astray, for him thou wilt not find a guiding friend. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

You may see the sun, when it rises, slanting toward the right of their cave, and, when it sets, cut across them towards the left, and they are in a cavern within it. That is one of Allah]s signs. Whomever Allah guides is rightly guided, and whomever He leads astray, you will never find for him any guardian or guide. - Qarai, Ali Quli

No sunlight could reach them during their sleep in the cave. One could see the rising sun decline to the right of their cave and the setting sun move its way to the left whilst they were sleeping in an opening of the cave. This is one of the miracles of God. Whomever God guides receives the right guidance and you will never find a guardian or guide for those whom He causes to go astray. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And you might see the sun when it rose, decline from their cave towards the right hand, and when it set, leave them behind on the left while they were in a wide space thereof. This is of the signs of Allah; whomsoever Allah guides, he is the rightly guided one, and whomsoever He causes to err, you shall not find for him any friend to lead (him) aright. - Shakir, Habib

The sun could be observed to incline away from their cave on the right, as it rose, and to turn away from them on the left, when it set, while they lay in the wide space inside the cave. This is one of the signs of God. He whom God guides is rightly guided; but for him whom He lets go astray, you will find no helper or guide. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور تم دیکھو گے کہ آفتاب جب طلوع کرتا ہے تو ان کے غارسے داہنی طرف کترا کر نکل جاتا ہے اور جب ڈوبتا ہے توبائیں طرف جھک کر نکل جاتا ہے اور وہ وسیع مقام پر آرام کررہے ہیں-یہ اللہ کی نشانیوں میں سے ایک نشانی ہے جس کو خدا ہدایت دے دے وہی ہدایت هیافتہ ہے اور جس کو وہ گمراہی میں چھوڑ دے اس کے لئے کوئی راہنما اور سرپرست نہ پاؤ گے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

تم انہیں غار میں دیکھتے تو تمہیں یوں نظر آتا کہ سورج جب نکلتا ہے تو ان کے غار کو چھوڑ کر دائیں جانب چڑھ جاتا ہے اور جب غروب ہوتا ہے تو ان سے بچ کر بائیں جانب اتر جاتا ہے اور وہ ہیں کہ غار کے اندر ایک وسیع جگہ میں پڑے ہیں یہ اللہ کی نشانیوں میں سے ایک ہے جس کو اللہ ہدایت دے وہی ہدایت پانے والا ہے اور جسے اللہ بھٹکا دے اس کے لیے تم کوئی ولی مرشد نہیں پا سکتے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور اے محبوب! تم سورج کو دیکھو گے کہ جب نکلتا ہے تو ان کے غار سے داہنی طرف بچ جاتا ہے اور جب ڈوبتا ہے تو ان سے بائیں طرف کترا جاتا ہے حالانکہ وہ اس غار کے کھلے میدان میں میں ہیں یہ اللہ کی نشانیوں میں سے ہے جسے اللہ راہ دے تو وہی راہ پر ہے، اور جسے گمراہ کرے تو ہرگز اس کا کوئی حمایتی راہ دکھانے والا نہ پاؤ گے، - Ahmed Raza

اور (وہ غار اس طرح واقع ہوئی ہے کہ) تم دیکھوگے کہ جب سورج طلوع ہوتا ہے تو ان کے غار سے دائیں طرف مڑ جاتا ہے اور جب ڈوبتا ہے تو ان سے بائیں طرف کترا کر نکل جاتا ہے۔ اور وہ ایک کشادہ جگہ پر (سوئے ہوئے) ہیں۔ یہ اللہ کی نشانیوں میں سے ایک (نشانی) ہے جسے اللہ ہدایت دے وہی ہدایت یافتہ ہے اور جسے وہ گمراہی میں چھوڑ دے تو تم اس کے لئے کوئی یار و مددگار اور راہنما نہیں پاؤگے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
