وَلَقَدْ
And for certain
كَرَّمْنَا
We were generous (with)
بَنِىٓ
bani
ءَادَمَ
Adam,
وَحَمَلْنَٰهُمْ
and We carried them
فِى
in
ٱلْبَرِّ
the land
وَٱلْبَحْرِ
and the sea
وَرَزَقْنَٰهُم
and We gave sustenance to them
مِّنَ
from
ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ
the good-things
وَفَضَّلْنَٰهُمْ
and We favoured them
عَلَىٰ
over
كَثِيرٍۢ
a many
مِّمَّنْ
of what
خَلَقْنَا
We created
تَفْضِيلًۭا
gracefully.
١٧
٧٠
وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ وَحَمَلْنَٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ وَرَزَقْنَٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ وَفَضَّلْنَٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٍۢ مِّمَّنْ خَلَقْنَا تَفْضِيلًۭا And for certain We were generous (with) bani Adam, and We carried them in the land and the sea and We gave sustenance to them from the good-things and We favoured them over a many of what We created gracefully.

Verily we have honoured the Children of Adam. We carry them on the land and the sea, and have made provision of good things for them, and have preferred them above many of those whom We created with a marked preferment. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

اور ہم نے بنی آدم کو کرامت عطا کی ہے اور انہیں خشکی اور دریاؤں میں سواریوں پر اٹھایا ہے اور انہیں پاکیزہ رزق عطا کیا ہے اور اپنی مخلوقات میں سے بہت سوں پر فضیلت دی ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

یہ تو ہماری عنایت ہے کہ ہم نے بنی آدم کو بزرگی دی اور انہیں خشکی و تری میں سواریاں عطا کیں اور ان کو پاکیزہ چیزوں سے رزق دیا اور اپنی بہت سی مخلوقات پر نمایاں فوقیت بخشی - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور بیشک ہم نے اولادِ آدم کو عزت دی اور ان کی خشکی اور تری میں سوار کیا اور ان کو ستھری چیزیں روزی دیں اور ان کو اپنی بہت مخلوق سے افضل کیا - Ahmed Raza
