وَبِٱلْحَقِّ
And with fact
أَنزَلْنَٰهُ
it was sent down
وَبِٱلْحَقِّ
and with the fact
نَزَلَ
it came down;
ۗ
وَمَآ
and not
أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ
have We sent you
إِلَّا
except
مُبَشِّرًۭا
as good news bearer
وَنَذِيرًۭا
and a notification.
١٧
١٠٥
وَبِٱلْحَقِّ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ وَبِٱلْحَقِّ نَزَلَ ۗ وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرًۭا وَنَذِيرًۭا And with fact it was sent down and with the fact it came down; and not have We sent you except as good news bearer and a notification.

With truth have We sent it down, and with truth hath it descended. And We have sent thee as naught else save a bearer of good tidings and a warner. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

With the truth did We send it down, and with the truth did it descend, and We did not send you except as a bearer of good news and as a warner. - Qarai, Ali Quli

We sent it (the Quran) in all Truth and in all Truth it came. (Muhammad), We have sent you for no other reason than to be a bearer of glad news and a warner. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And with truth have We revealed it, and with truth did it come; and We have not sent you but as the giver of good news and as a warner. - Shakir, Habib

We have revealed the Quran with the truth, and with the truth it has come down. We have sent you forth only to give good news and to give warning -- - Wahiduddin Khan

اور ہم نے اس قرآن کو حق کے ساتھ نازل کیاہے اور یہ حق ہی کے ساتھ نازل ہوا ہے اور ہم نے آپ کو صرف بشارت دینے والا اورڈرانے والا بناکر بھیجا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اس قرآن کو ہم نے حق کے ساتھ نازل کیا ہے اور حق ہی کے ساتھ یہ نازل ہوا ہے، اور اے محمدؐ، تمہیں ہم نے اِس کے سوا اور کسی کام کے لیے نہیں بھیجا کہ (جو مان لے اسے) بشارت دے دو اور (جو نہ مانے اُسے) متنبہ کر دو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور ہم نے قرآن کو حق ہی کے ساتھ اتارا اور حق وہی کے لیے اترا اور ہم نے تمہیں نہ بھیجا مگر خوشی اور ڈر سناتا، - Ahmed Raza

وَقُرْءَانًۭا
And a proclamation
فَرَقْنَٰهُ
that distinguishes it,
لِتَقْرَأَهُۥ
for you to read it
عَلَى
upon
ٱلنَّاسِ
the populace
عَلَىٰ
upon
مُكْثٍۢ
intervals,
وَنَزَّلْنَٰهُ
and alight it
تَنزِيلًۭا
in stages.
١٧
١٠٦
وَقُرْءَانًۭا فَرَقْنَٰهُ لِتَقْرَأَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ مُكْثٍۢ وَنَزَّلْنَٰهُ تَنزِيلًۭا And a proclamation that distinguishes it, for you to read it upon the populace upon intervals, and alight it in stages.

And (it is) a Qur'an that We have divided, that thou mayst recite it unto mankind at intervals, and We have revealed it by (successive) revelation. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

We have sent the Quran in [discrete] parts so that you may recite it for the people a little at a time, and We have sent it down piecemeal. - Qarai, Ali Quli

We have divided the Quran into many segments so that you would read them to the people in gradual steps as We reveal them to you from time to time. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
And it is a Quran which We have revealed in portions so that you may read it to the people by slow degrees, and We have revealed it, revealing in portions. - Shakir, Habib

We have revealed the Quran bit by bit so that you may recite it to the people slowly and with deliberation. We have imparted it by gradual revelation. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور ہم نے قرآن کو متفرق بناکر نازل کیا ہے تاکہ تم تھوڑا تھوڑا لوگوں کے سامنے پڑھو اور ہم نے خود اسے تدریجا نازل کیا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور اس قرآن کو ہم نے تھوڑا تھوڑا کر کے نازل کیا ہے تاکہ تم ٹھیر ٹھیر کر اسے لوگوں کو سناؤ، اور اسے ہم نے (موقع موقع سے) بتدریج اتارا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور قرآن ہم نے جدا جدا کرکے اتارا کہ تم اسے لوگوں پر ٹھہر ٹھہر کر پڑھو اور ہم نے اسے بتدریج رہ رہ کر اتارا - Ahmed Raza

قُلْ
Say,
ءَامِنُوا۟
[Have trust
بِهِۦٓ
about it
أَوْ
or
لَا
not
تُؤْمِنُوٓا۟
have trust,
ۚ
إِنَّ
it is certain that
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
أُوتُوا۟
have been given
ٱلْعِلْمَ
the knowledge
مِن
from
قَبْلِهِۦٓ
before it,
إِذَا
whenever
يُتْلَىٰ
were recited
عَلَيْهِمْ
upon them,
يَخِرُّونَ
they became humble
لِلْأَذْقَانِ
for the ones who are needing support
سُجَّدًۭا
as executers of service.]
١٧
١٠٧
قُلْ ءَامِنُوا۟ بِهِۦٓ أَوْ لَا تُؤْمِنُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ مِن قَبْلِهِۦٓ إِذَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ يَخِرُّونَ لِلْأَذْقَانِ سُجَّدًۭا Say, [Have trust about it or not have trust, it is certain that the ones who have been given the knowledge from before it, whenever were recited upon them, they became humble for the ones who are needing support as executers of service.]

Say: Believe therein or believe not, lo! those who were given knowledge before it, when it is read unto them, fall down prostrate on their faces, adoring, - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Say, [Whether you believe in it, or do not believe in it, indeed when it is recited to those who were given knowledge before it, they fall down in prostration on their faces, - Qarai, Ali Quli

Say, [It does not matter whether you believe in it or not, for when it is read to those who had received the knowledge (heavenly Books) that were sent before, they bow down and prostrate themselves before the Lord. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Say: Believe in it or believe not; surely those who are given the knowledge before it fall down on their faces, making obeisance when it is recited to them. - Shakir, Habib

Say to them, [You may believe in it or not. Those to whom knowledge had been revealed, fall on their faces in prostration when it is recited, - Wahiduddin Khan

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ تم ایمان لاؤ یا نہ لاؤ جن کو اس کے پہلے علم دے دیا گیا ہے ان پرتلاوت ہوتی ہے تو منہ کے بل سجدہ میں گر پڑتے ہیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اے محمدؐ، اِن لوگوں سے کہہ دو کہ تم اسے مانو یا نہ مانو، جن لوگوں کو اس سے پہلے علم دیا گیا ہے انہیں جب یہ سنایا جاتا ہے تو وہ منہ کے بل سجدے میں گر جاتے ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

تم فرماؤ کہ تم لوگ اس پر ایمان لاؤ یا نہ لاؤ بیشک وہ جنہیں اس کے اترنے سے پہلے علم ملا اب ان پر پڑھا جاتا ہے، ٹھوڑی کے بل سجدہ میں گر پڑتے ہیں، - Ahmed Raza

وَيَقُولُونَ
And they say,
سُبْحَٰنَ
[Glorious is
رَبِّنَآ
our Nourisher!
إِن
That
كَانَ
has been
وَعْدُ
promise of
رَبِّنَا
our Sustainer
لَمَفْعُولًۭا
that is being done.]
And they say, [Glorious is our Nourisher! That has been promise of our Sustainer that is being done.]

Saying: Glory to our Lord! Verily the promise of our Lord must be fulfilled. - Pickthall, Marmaduke
⦿
and say, [[Immaculate is our Lord! Indeed Our Lord]s promise is bound to be fulfilled.]] - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
They say, [Our Lord is too Glorious to disregard His promise]. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
And they say: Glory be to our Lord! most surely the promise of our Lord was to be fulfilled. - Shakir, Habib
⦿
and say, [Glory to our Lord! Our Lord's promise is bound to be fulfilled.] - Wahiduddin Khan
⦿
اور کہتے ہیں کہ ہمارا رب پاک و پاکیزہ ہے اور اس کا وعدہ یقینا پورا ہونے والا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور پکار اٹھتے ہیں ——پاک ہے ہمارا رب، اُس کا وعدہ تو پورا ہونا ہی تھا—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala
⦿
اور کہتے ہیں پاکی ہے ہمارے رب کو بیشک ہمارے اب کا وعدہ پورا ہوتا تھا - Ahmed Raza
⦿
اور کہتے ہیں کہ پاک ہے ہمارا پروردگار! بے شک ہمارے پروردگار کا وعدہ تو پورا ہو کر ہی رہتا ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

and it increases their
خُشُوعًۭا
humbleness.

And they bend down for the ones who need support empathizing with them and it increases their humbleness.

They fall down on their faces, weeping, and it increaseth humility in them. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Weeping, they fall down on their faces, and it increases them in humility.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

They bow down in prostration and weep and it makes them more humble (before the Lord). - Sarwar, Muhammad

And they fall down on their faces weeping, and it adds to their humility. - Shakir, Habib

They fall down upon their faces weeping, and [the Quran] increases their humility.] - Wahiduddin Khan

اور وہ منہ کے بل گر پڑتے ہیں روتے ہیں اوروہ قرآن ان کے خشوع میں اضافہ کردیتا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور وہ منہ کے بل روتے ہوئے گر جاتے ہیں اور اسے سن کر اُن کا خشوع اور بڑھ جاتا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور تھوڑی کے بل گرتے ہیں روتے ہوئے اور یہ قرآن ان کے دل کا جھکنا بڑھاتا ہے، (السجدة) - Ahmed Raza

اور وہ روتے ہوئے منہ کے بل گر پڑتے ہیں۔ اور یہ (قرآن) ان کے خشوع و خضوع میں اضافہ کر دیتا ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

Say,
ٱدْعُوا۟

ۖ
أَيًّۭا
whichever it is
مَّا
what
تَدْعُوا۟
you call,
فَلَهُ
thus for Him are
ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ
the names which are
ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
the best;
ۚ
وَلَا
and not
تَجْهَرْ
be boastful
بِصَلَاتِكَ
about your duty
وَلَا
and not
تُخَافِتْ
be completely silent
بِهَا
about it
وَٱبْتَغِ
but seek
بَيْنَ
between
ذَٰلِكَ
that
سَبِيلًۭا
a way.]
١٧
١١٠
قُلِ ٱدْعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ أَوِ ٱدْعُوا۟ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنَ ۖ أَيًّۭا مَّا تَدْعُوا۟ فَلَهُ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ وَلَا تَجْهَرْ بِصَلَاتِكَ وَلَا تُخَافِتْ بِهَا وَٱبْتَغِ بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ سَبِيلًۭا Say, [Call upon the One, or call upon the Rahman; whichever it is what you call, thus for Him are the names which are the best; and not be boastful about your duty and not be completely silent about it but seek between that a way.]

Say (unto mankind): Cry unto Allah, or cry unto the Beneficent, unto whichsoever ye cry (it is the same). His are the most beautiful names. And thou (Muhammad), be not loud-voiced in thy worship nor yet silent therein, but follow a way between. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Say, [Invoke [[Allah]] or invoke [[the All-beneficent.]] Whichever [of His Names] you may invoke, to Him belong the Best Names.] Be neither loud in your prayer, nor murmur it, but follow a middle course between these, - Qarai, Ali Quli

(Muhammad), tell them, [It is all the same whether you call Him God or the Beneficent. All the good names belong to Him.] (Muhammad), do not be too loud or slow in your prayer. Choose a moderate way of praying. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
Say: Call upon Allah or call upon, the Beneficent Allah; whichever you call upon, He has the best names; and do not utter your prayer with a very raised voice nor be silent with regard to it, and seek a way between these. - Shakir, Habib
⦿
Say, [Whether you call on God or on the Merciful One: His are the finest names.] Pray neither in too loud a voice nor in silence, but between these two extremes. Seek a middle way - Wahiduddin Khan

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ اللہ کہہ کر پکارو یا رحمٰن کہہ کر پکارو جس طرح بھی پکارو گے اس کے تمام نام بہترین ہیں اور اپنی نمازوں کو نہ چلاکر پڑھو اورنہ بہت آہستہ آہستہ بلکہ دونوں کا درمیانی راستہ نکالو - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اے نبیؐ، اِن سے کہو، اللہ کہہ کر پکارو یا رحمان کہہ کر، جس نام سے بھی پکارو اُس کے لیے سب اچھے ہی نام ہیں اور اپنی نماز نہ بہت زیادہ بلند آواز سے پڑھو اور نہ بہت پست آواز سے، ان دونوں کے درمیان اوسط درجے کا لہجہ اختیار کرو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

[All the power and praise

a child,
وَلَمْ
and not
يَكُن
exists
لَّهُۥ
for Him
شَرِيكٌۭ
a partner
فِى
in
ٱلْمُلْكِ
the kingship,
وَلَمْ
and not
يَكُن
exists
لَّهُۥ
for Him
وَلِىٌّۭ
a protector
مِّنَ
of
ٱلذُّلِّ
lower than Him,
ۖ
وَكَبِّرْهُ
and magnify Him
تَكْبِيرًۢا
greatly.]
١٧
١١١
وَقُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًۭا وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ شَرِيكٌۭ فِى ٱلْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ وَلِىٌّۭ مِّنَ ٱلذُّلِّ ۖ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيرًۢا And say, [All the power and praise belongs to the One, the Entity who not Has taken a child, and not exists for Him a partner in the kingship, and not exists for Him a protector of lower than Him, and magnify Him greatly.]
⦿
And say: Praise be to Allah, Who hath not taken unto Himself a son, and Who hath no partner in the Sovereignty, nor hath He any protecting friend through dependence. And magnify Him with all magnificence. - Pickthall, Marmaduke
⦿
and say, [All praise belongs to Allah, who has neither taken any son, nor has He any partner in sovereignty, nor has He any wali out of weakness,] and magnify Him with a magnification [worthy of Him]. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
Say, [It is only God who deserves all praise. He has not begotten a son and has no partner in His Kingdom. He does not need any guardian to help Him in His need. Proclaim His greatness. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
And say: (All) praise is due to Allah, Who has not taken a son and Who has not a partner in the kingdom, and Who has not a helper to save Him from disgrace; and proclaim His greatness magnifying (Him). - Shakir, Habib
⦿
and say, [All praise is due to God who has never begotten a son and who has no partner in His kingdom; nor does anyone aid Him because of any weakness of His. Proclaim His greatness.] - Wahiduddin Khan

اور کہو کہ ساری حمد اس اللہ کے لئے ہے جس نے نہ کسی کو فرزند بنایا ہے اورنہ کوئی اس کے ملک میں شریک ہے اور نہ کوئی اس کی کمزوری کی بنا پر اس کاسرپرست ہے اورپھر باقاعدہ اس کی بزرگی کا اعلان کرتے رہو - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور کہو ——تعریف ہے اس خدا کے لیے جس نے نہ کسی کو بیٹا بنایا، نہ کوئی بادشاہی میں اس کا شریک ہے، اور نہ وہ عاجز ہے کہ کوئی اس کا پشتیبان ہو—— اور اس کی بڑائی بیان کرو، کمال درجے کی بڑائی - Maududi, Abul A'ala
