And Allah hath given you wives of your own kind, and hath given you, from your wives, sons and grandsons, and hath made provision of good things for you. Is it then in vanity that they believe and in the grace of Allah that they disbelieve? - Pickthall, Marmaduke

اور وہ اللہ ہی ہے جس نے تمہارے لیے تمہاری ہم جنس بیویاں بنائیں اور اسی نے ان بیویوں سے تمہیں بیٹے پوتے عطا کیے اور اچھی اچھی چیزیں تمہیں کھانے کو دیں پھر کیا یہ لوگ (یہ سب کچھ دیکھتے اور جانتے ہوئے بھی) باطل کو مانتے ہیں اور اللہ کے احسان کا انکار کرتے ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

Allah coineth a similitude: (on the one hand) a (mere) chattel slave, who hath control of nothing, and (on the other hand) one on whom we have bestowed a fair provision from Us, and he spendeth thereof secretly and openly. Are they equal? Praise be to Allah! But most of them know not. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Allah draws a parable: a slave owned [by his master] who has no power over anything, and another one [a free man] whom We have provided a goodly provision and who spends out of it secretly and openly. Are they equal? All praise belongs to Allah. But most of them do not know. - Qarai, Ali Quli

اللہ ایک مثال دیتا ہے ایک تو ہے غلام، جو دوسرے کا مملوک ہے اور خود کوئی اختیار نہیں رکھتا دوسرا شخص ایسا ہے جسے ہم نے اپنی طرف سے اچھا رزق عطا کیا ہے اور وہ اس میں سے کھلے اور چھپے خوب خرچ کرتا ہے بتاؤ، کیا یہ دونوں برابر ہیں؟ الحمدللہ، مگر اکثر لوگ (اس سیدھی بات کو) نہیں جانتے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اللہ نے ایک کہاوت بیان فرمائی ایک بندہ ہے دوسرے کی ملک آپ کچھ مقدور نہیں رکھتا اور ایک جسے ہم نے اپنی طرف سے اچھی روزی عطا فرمائی تو وہ اس میں سے خرچ کرتا ہے چھپے اور ظاہر کیا وہ برابر ہوجائیں گے سب خوبیاں اللہ کو ہیں بلکہ ان میں اکثر کو خبر نہیں - Ahmed Raza

وَضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلًۭا رَّجُلَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَآ أَبْكَمُ لَا يَقْدِرُ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍۢ وَهُوَ كَلٌّ عَلَىٰ مَوْلَىٰهُ أَيْنَمَا يُوَجِّههُّ لَا يَأْتِ بِخَيْرٍ ۖ هَلْ يَسْتَوِى هُوَ وَمَن يَأْمُرُ بِٱلْعَدْلِ ۙ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

اللہ ایک اور مثال دیتا ہے دو آدمی ہیں ایک گونگا بہرا ہے، کوئی کام نہیں کر سکتا، اپنے آقا پر بوجھ بنا ہوا ہے، جدھر بھی وہ اسے بھیجے کوئی بھلا کام اُس سے بن نہ آئے دوسرا شخص ایسا ہے کہ انصاف کا حکم دیتا ہے اور خود راہ راست پر قائم ہے بتاؤ کیا یہ دونوں یکساں ہیں؟ - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور اللہ نے کہاوت بیان فرمائی دو مرد ایک گونگا جو کچھ کام نہیں کرسکتا اور وہ اپنے آقا پر بوجھ ہے جدھر بھیجے کچھ بھلائی نہ لائے کیا برابر ہوجائے گا ہ اور وہ جو انصاف کا حکم کرتا ہے اور وہ سیدھی راہ پر ہے، ف) - Ahmed Raza

أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ إِلَى ٱلطَّيْرِ مُسَخَّرَٰتٍۢ فِى جَوِّ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَا يُمْسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يُؤْمِنُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Have they not seen the birds obedient in mid-air? None holdeth them save Allah. Lo! herein, verily, are portents for a people who believe. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And Allah hath given you in your houses an abode, and hath given you (also), of the hides of cattle, houses which ye find light (to carry) on the day of migration and on the day of pitching camp; and of their wool and their fur and their hair, caparison and comfort for a while. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

It is Allah who has made your homes as a place of rest for you and He made for you homes out of the skins of the cattle which you find portable on the day of your shifting and on the day of your halt, and out of their wool, fur and hair [He has appointed] furniture and wares [enduring] for a while. - Qarai, Ali Quli

God has made your house the place for you to rest. He has also made homes for you out of the skins of cattle which are easy to carry along on a journey or at a camp. He has made wool, fur and the hair of cattle a temporary means of enjoyment for you. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And Allah has given you a place to abide in your houses, and He has given you tents of the skins of cattle which you find light to carry on the day of your march and on the day of your halting, and of their wool and their fur and their hair (He has given you) household stuff and a provision for a time. - Shakir, Habib

God has made your houses places of rest for you and made tents for you out of cattle hides, which are light for you to carry, both when you are travelling and when you are staying in one place. اللہ نے تمہارے لیے تمہارے گھروں کو جائے سکون بنایا اس نے جانوروں کی کھالوں سے تمہارے لیے ایسے مکان پیدا کیے جنہیں تم سفر اور قیام، دونوں حالتوں میں ہلکا پاتے ہو اُس نے جانوروں کے صوف اور اون اور بالوں سے تمہارے لیے پہننے اور برتنے کی بہت سی چیزیں پیدا کر دیں جو زندگی کی مدت مقررہ تک تمہارے کام آتی ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور اللہ نے تمہیں گھر دیئے بسنے کو اور تمہارے لیے چوپایوں کی کھالوں سے کچھ گھر بناےٴ جو تمھیں ہلکے پڑتے ہیں تمھارے سفر کے دن اور منزلوں پرٹھہر نے کے دن، اور ان کی اون اور ببری (رونگٹوں) اور بالوں سے کچھ گرہستی (خانگی ضروریات) کا سامان اور برتنے کی چیزیں ایک وقت تک، - Ahmed Raza

لَعَلَّكُمْ

وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّمَّا خَلَقَ ظِلَٰلًۭا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ أَكْنَٰنًۭا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ سَرَٰبِيلَ تَقِيكُمُ ٱلْحَرَّ وَسَرَٰبِيلَ تَقِيكُم بَأْسَكُمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُتِمُّ نِعْمَتَهُۥ عَلَيْكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُسْلِمُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And Allah hath given you, of that which He hath created, shelter from the sun; and hath given you places of refuge in the mountains, and hath given you coats to ward off the heat from you, and coats (of armour) to save you from your own foolhardiness. Thus doth He perfect His favour unto you, in order that ye may surrender (unto Him). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

It is Allah who made for you the shade from what He has created, and made for you retreats in the mountains, and made for you garments that protect you from heat, and garments that protect you from your [mutual] violence. That is how He completes His blessing upon you so that you may submit [to Him]. - Qarai, Ali Quli

God has provided shade for you out of what He has created and places of retreat out of mountains. He has given you garments to protect you from the heat and cover your private parts. This is how He perfects His bounties to you so that perhaps you would submit to His will. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And Allah has made for you of what He has created shelters, and He has given you in the mountains places of retreat, and He has given you garments to preserve you from the heat and coats of mail to preserve you in your fighting; even thus does He complete His favor upon you, that haply you may submit. - Shakir, Habib

اس نے اپنی پیدا کی ہوئی بہت سی چیزوں سے تمہارے لیے سائے کا انتظام کیا، پہاڑوں میں تمہارے لیے پناہ گاہیں بنائیں، اور تمہیں ایسی پوشاکیں بخشیں جو تمہیں گرمی سے بچاتی ہیں اور کچھ دوسری پوشاکیں جو آپس کی جنگ میں تمہاری حفاظت کرتی ہیں اس طرح وہ تم پر اپنی نعمتوں کی تکمیل کرتا ہے شاید کہ تم فرماں بردار بنو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور اللہ نے تمہیں اپنی بنائی ہوئی چیزوں سے سائے دیئے اور تمہارے لیے پہاڑوں میں چھپنے کی جگہ بنائی اور تمہارے لیے کچھ پہنادے بنائے کہ تمہیں گرمی سے بچائیں اور کچھ پہناوے کہ لڑائیں میں تمہاری حفاظت کریں یونہی اپنی نعمت تم پر پوری کرتا ہے کہ تم فرمان مانو - Ahmed Raza
