وَبَرَزُوا۟
And when they appear
لِلَّهِ
for the One
جَمِيعًۭا
collectively,
فَقَالَ
thus will say
ٱلضُّعَفَٰٓؤُا۟
the weak
لِلَّذِينَ
for the ones who
ٱسْتَكْبَرُوٓا۟
were flaunting their arrogance,
إِنَّا
[Certainly we
كُنَّا
were
لَكُمْ
for you
تَبَعًۭا
as disciples,
فَهَلْ
thus are
أَنتُم
you going to
مُّغْنُونَ
help us
عَنَّا
against
مِنْ
from
عَذَابِ
punishment of
ٱللَّهِ
the One
مِن
of
شَىْءٍۢ
a thing?]
ۚ
قَالُوا۟
Their reply,
لَوْ
[If
هَدَىٰنَا
guided us
ٱللَّهُ
the One,
لَهَدَيْنَٰكُمْ
we would have guided you;
ۖ
سَوَآءٌ
same is
عَلَيْنَآ
upon us whether
أَجَزِعْنَآ
we are anxious
أَمْ
or
صَبَرْنَا
we persevere,
مَا
not
لَنَا
for us is
مِن
of
مَّحِيصٍۢ
a refuge.]
١٤

وَبَرَزُوا۟ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًۭا فَقَالَ ٱلضُّعَفَٰٓؤُا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوٓا۟ إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًۭا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا مِنْ عَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ مِن شَىْءٍۢ ۚ قَالُوا۟ لَوْ هَدَىٰنَا ٱللَّهُ لَهَدَيْنَٰكُمْ ۖ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْنَآ أَجَزِعْنَآ أَمْ صَبَرْنَا مَا لَنَا مِن مَّحِيصٍۢ And when they appear for the One collectively, thus will say the weak for the ones who were flaunting their arrogance, [Certainly we were for you as disciples, thus are you going to help us against from punishment of the One of a thing?] Their reply, [If guided us the One, we would have guided you; same is upon us whether we are anxious or we persevere, not for us is of a refuge.]

They all come forth unto their Lord. Then those who were despised say unto those who were scornful: We were unto you a following, can ye then avert from us aught of Allah's doom? They say: Had Allah guided us, we should have guided you. Whether we rage or patiently endure is (now) all one for us; we have no place of refuge. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Together they will be presented before Allah. Then those who were weak will say to the arrogant [leaders], [Indeed we were your followers. So will you avail us against Allah]s punishment in any wise?] They will say, [Had Allah guided us, surely we would have guided you. It is the same to us whether we are restless or patient: there is no escape for us.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

(On the Day of Judgment) everyone will appear before God and those who have been suppressed will say to their oppressors, [We were your followers, can you do anything to rescue us from the torment of God?] They will reply, [Had God guided us, we would also have guided you. It makes no difference whether we cry for help or exercise patience; there is no escape for us.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

And they shall all come forth before Allah, then the weak shall say to those who were proud: Surely we were your followers, can you therefore avert from us any part of the chastisement of Allah? They would say: If Allah had guided us, we too would have guided you; it is the same to us whether we are impatient (now) or patient, there is no place for us to fly to. - Shakir, Habib

They shall all appear before God and the weak will say to those who behaved proudly, [We were your followers. Can you protect us from God's punishment?] They will reply, [Had God given us guidance, we would have guided you. It is all the same whether we are patient or impatient; there is no escape for us.] - Wahiduddin Khan

اور قیامت کے دن سب اللہ کے سامنے حاضر ہوں گے تو کمزور لوگ مستکبرین سے کہیں گے کہ ہم تو آپ کے پیروکار تھے تو کیا آپ عذاب الٰہی کے مقابلہ میں ہمارے کچھ کام آسکتے ہیں تو وہ جواب دیں گے کہ اگر خدا ہمیں ہدایت دے دیتا تو ہم بھی تمہیں ہدایت دے دیتے -اب تو ہمارے لئے سب ہی برابر ہے چاہے فریاد کریں یا صبر کریں کہ اب کوئی چھٹکارا ملنے والا نہیں ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور یہ لوگ جب اکٹھے اللہ کے سامنے بے نقاب ہوں گے تو اُس وقت اِن میں سے جو دنیا میں کمزور تھے و ہ اُن لوگوں سے جو بڑے بنے ہوئے تھے، کہیں گے ——دنیا میں ہم تمہارے تابع تھے، اب کیا تم اللہ کے عذاب سے ہم کو بچانے کے لیے بھی کچھ کرسکتے ہو؟——وہ جواب دیں گے ——اگر اللہ نے ہمیں نجات کی کوئی راہ دکھائی ہوتی تو ہم ضرور تمہیں بھی دکھا دیتے اب تو یکساں ہے، خواہ ہم جزع فزع کریں یا صبر، بہرحال ہمارے بچنے کی کوئی صورت نہیں—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور سب اللہ کے حضور اعلانیہ حاضر ہوں گے تو جو کمزور تھے بڑائی والوں سے کہیں گے ہم تمہارے تابع تھے کیا تم سے ہوسکتا ہے کہ اللہ کے عذاب میں سے کچھ ہم پر سے ٹال دو کہیں گے اللہ ہمیں ہدایت کرتا تو ہم تمہیں کرتے ہم پر ایک سا ہے چاہے بے قراری کریں یا صبر سے رہیں ہمیں کہیں پناہ نہیں، - Ahmed Raza

اور (قیامت کے دن) وہ سب ایک ساتھ اللہ کی بارگاہ میں حاضر ہوں گے۔ تو جو کمزور (پیروکار) ہوں گے وہ ان سے کہیں گے جو بڑے (سردار) بنے ہوئے تھے کہ ہم تو (زندگی بھر) تمہارے پیروکار تھے تو تم آج ہمیں اللہ کے عذاب سے کچھ بچا سکتے ہو؟ وہ (بڑے) کہیں گے اگر اللہ ہمیں ہدایت دیتا تو ہم بھی تمہیں ہدایت دیتے اب ہمارے لئے برابر ہے جزع فزع کریں یا صبر کریں۔ آج ہمارے لئے چھٹکارا حاصل کرنے کی کوئی سبیل نہیں ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
