عَنِ

ٱلْمُنكَرِ

وَيُقِيمُونَ

ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ

وَيُؤْتُونَ

ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ

وَيُطِيعُونَ

ٱللَّهَ

وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ

سَيَرْحَمُهُمُ

ٱللَّهُ

إِنَّ

عَزِيزٌ

وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَآءُ بَعْضٍۢ ۚ يَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ وَيُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَيُطِيعُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ سَيَرْحَمُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌۭ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And the believers, men and women, are protecting friends one of another; they enjoin the right and forbid the wrong, and they establish worship and they pay the poor-due, and they obey Allah and His messenger. As for these, Allah will have mercy on them. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Wise. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

But the faithful, men and women, are comrades of one another: they bid what is right and forbid what is wrong and maintain the prayer, give the zakat, and obey Allah and His Apostle. It is they to whom Allah will soon grant His mercy. Indeed Allah is all-mighty, all-wise. - Qarai, Ali Quli

The believers, both male and female, are each other's guardians. They try to make others do good, prevent them from committing sins, perform their prayers, pay the religious tax, and obey God and His Messenger. God will have mercy on them; He is Majestic and All-wise. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And (as for) the believing men and the believing women, they are guardians of each other; they enjoin good and forbid evil and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, and obey Allah and His Apostle; (as for) these, Allah will show mercy to them; surely Allah is Mighty, Wise. - Shakir, Habib

مومن مرد اور مومن عورتیں آپس میں سب ایک دوسرے کے ولی اور مددگار ہیں کہ یہ سب ایک دوسرے کو نیکیوں کا حکم دیتے ہیں اور برائیوں سے روکتے ہیں,نماز قائم کرتے ہیں -زکوِٰ ادا کرتے ہیں اللہ اور رسول کی اطاعت کرتے ہیں -یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جن پر عنقریب خدا رحمت نازل کرے گا کہ وہ ہر شے پر غالب اور صاحبِ حکمت ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

مومن مرد اور مومن عورتیں، یہ سب ایک دوسرے کے رفیق ہیں، بھلائی کا حکم دیتے اور برائی سے روکتے ہیں، نماز قائم کرتے ہیں، زکوٰۃ دیتے ہیں اور اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی اطاعت کرتے ہیں یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جن پر اللہ کی رحمت نازل ہو کر رہے گی، یقیناً اللہ سب پر غالب اور حکیم و دانا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور مسلمان مرد اور مسلمان عورتیں ایک دوسرے کے رفیق ہیں بھلائی کا حکم دیں اور برائی سے منع کریں اور نماز قائم رکھیں اور زکوٰة دیں اور اللہ و رسول کا حکم مانیں، یہ ہیں جن پر عنقریب اللہ رحم کرے گا، بیشک اللہ غالب حکمت والا ہے، - Ahmed Raza

اور مؤمن مرد اور مؤمن عورتیں یہ سب باہم دگریکرنگ و ہم آہنگ ہیں وہ بھلائی کا حکم دیتے ہیں اور برائی سے روکتے ہیں اور نماز قائم کرتے ہیں۔ اور زکوٰۃ ادا کرتے ہیں۔ اور اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی اطاعت کرتے ہیں۔ یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جن پر اللہ ضرور رحم فرمائے گا۔ یقینا اللہ زبردست ہے، بڑا حکمت والا ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ جَنَّٰتٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَمَسَٰكِنَ طَيِّبَةًۭ فِى جَنَّٰتِ عَدْنٍۢ ۚ وَرِضْوَٰنٌۭ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Allah promiseth to the believers, men and women, Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide - blessed dwellings in Gardens of Eden. And - greater (far)! - acceptance from Allah. That is the supreme triumph. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Allah has promised the faithful, men and women, gardens with streams running in them, to remain in them [forever], and good dwellings in the Gardens of Eden. Yet Allah]s pleasure is greater [than all these]; that is the great success. - Qarai, Ali Quli

God has promised the believers gardens wherein streams flow and wherein they will live forever in the excellent mansions of the garden of Eden. What is more important than all this for them is that God is pleased with them. Such is the supreme triumph. - Sarwar, Muhammad

ان مومن مردوں اور عورتوں سے اللہ کا وعدہ ہے کہ انہیں ایسے باغ دے گا جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہوں گی اور وہ ان میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے ان سدا بہار باغوں میں ان کے لیے پاکیزہ قیام گاہیں ہوں گی، اور سب سے بڑھ کر یہ کہ اللہ کی خوشنودی انہیں حاصل ہوگی یہی بڑی کامیابی ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اللہ نے مسلمان مردوں اور مسلمان عورتوں کو باغوں کا وعدہ دیا ہے جن کے نیچے نہریں رواں ان میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے اور پاکیزہ مکانوں کا بسنے کے باغوں میں، اور اللہ کی رضا سب سے بڑی یہی ہے بڑی مراد پانی، - Ahmed Raza

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ جَٰهِدِ ٱلْكُفَّارَ وَٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ وَٱغْلُظْ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ وَمَأْوَىٰهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

O Prophet! Strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites! Be harsh with them. Their ultimate abode is hell, a hapless journey's end. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O Prophet! Wage jihad against the faithless and the hypocrites, and be severe with them. Their refuge shall be hell, and it is an evil destination. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Prophet, fight the unbelievers and hypocrites vehemently for the cause of God. Their dwelling is hell, a terrible destination! - Sarwar, Muhammad

O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and their abode is hell, and evil is the destination. - Shakir, Habib

نَصِيرٍۢ

يَحْلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ مَا قَالُوا۟ وَلَقَدْ قَالُوا۟ كَلِمَةَ ٱلْكُفْرِ وَكَفَرُوا۟ بَعْدَ إِسْلَٰمِهِمْ وَهَمُّوا۟ بِمَا لَمْ يَنَالُوا۟ ۚ وَمَا نَقَمُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ أَنْ أَغْنَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ ۚ فَإِن يَتُوبُوا۟ يَكُ خَيْرًۭا لَّهُمْ ۖ وَإِن يَتَوَلَّوْا۟ يُعَذِّبْهُمُ ٱللَّهُ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًۭا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۚ وَمَا لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مِن وَلِىٍّۢ وَلَا نَصِيرٍۢ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

They swear by Allah that they said nothing (wrong), yet they did say the word of disbelief, and did disbelieve after their Surrender (to Allah). And they purposed that which they could not attain, and they sought revenge only that Allah by His messenger should enrich them of His bounty. If they repent it will be better for them; and if they turn away, Allah will afflict them with a painful doom in the world and the Hereafter, and they have no protecting friend nor helper in the earth. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

They swear by Allah that they did not say it. But they certainly did utter the word of unfaith and renounced faith after their Islam. They contemplated what they could not achieve, and they were vindictive only because Allah and His Apostle had enriched them out of His grace. Yet if they repent, it will be better for them; but if they turn away, Allah shall punish them with a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter, and they shall not find on the earth any guardian or helper. - Qarai, Ali Quli

They (the hypocrites) swear by the Name of God (to make others believe in what they are saying). They have spoken the testimony of disbelief and have then turned back to disbelief. They have made unsuccessful attempts to cause trouble. There is no other reason for their ungratefulness except that God and His Messenger enriched them through their favors. If they repent, it will be better for them, but if they turn away (from the faith), God will make them suffer a painful punishment both in this life and in the life hereafter. They will find no guardian nor any helper in the land. - Sarwar, Muhammad

They swear by Allah that they did not speak, and certainly they did speak, the word of unbelief, and disbelieved after their Islam, and they had determined upon what they have not been able to effect, and they did not find fault except because Allah and His Apostle enriched them out of His grace; therefore if they repent, it will be good for them; and if they turn back, Allah will chastise them with a painful chastisement in this world and the hereafter, and they shall not have in the land any guardian or a helper. - Shakir, Habib

They swear by God that they did not, yet they uttered the words of denial of truth after they had accepted Islam. They meditated a plot which they were unable to carry out, and being spiteful was their only response to God, who had enriched them out of His bounty, and to His Messenger. If they repent, it will indeed be better for them. یہ اپنی باتوں پر اللہ کی قسم کھاتے ہیں کہ ایسا نہیں کہا حالانکہ انہوں نے کلمہ کفر کہا ہے اور اپنے اسلام کے بعد کافر ہوگئے ہیں اور وہ ارادہ کیا تھا جو حاصل نہیں کرسکے اور ان کا غصہّ صرف اس بات پر ہے کہ اللہ اور رسول نے اپنے فضل و کرم سے مسلمانوں کو نواز دیا ہے -بہرحال یہ اب بھی توبہ کرلیں تو ان کے حق میں بہتر ہے اور منہ پھیرلیں تو اللہ ان پر دنیا اور آخرت میں دردناک عذاب کرے گا اور روئے زمین پر کوئی ان کا سرپرست اور مددگار نہ ہوگا - Jawadi, Zeeshan

یہ لوگ خدا کی قسم کھا کھا کر کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نے وہ بات نہیں کہی، حالانکہ انہوں نے ضرور وہ کافرانہ بات کہی ہے وہ اسلام لانے کے بعد کفر کے مرتکب ہوئے اور انہوں نے وہ کچھ کرنے کا ارادہ کیا جسے کر نہ سکے یہ ان کا سارا غصہ اسی بات پر ہے نا کہ اللہ اور اس کے رسول نے اپنے فضل سے ان کو غنی کر دیا ہے! اب اگر یہ اپنی اس روش سے باز آ جائیں تو انہی کے لیے بہتر ہے اور اگر یہ باز نہ آئے تو اللہ ان کو نہایت درد ناک سزا دے گا، دنیا میں بھی اور آخرت میں بھی، اور زمین میں کوئی نہیں جو اِن کا حمایتی اور مددگار ہو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

And of them is he who made a covenant with Allah (saying): If He give us of His bounty we will give alms and become of the righteous. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Among them are those who made a pledge with Allah: [If He gives us out of His grace, we will surely give the zakat and we will surely be among the righteous.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

Some of them have promised God that if He will favor them, they will certainly spend for His cause and be righteous ones. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And there are those of them who made a covenant with Allah: If He give us out of His grace, we will certainly give alms and we will certainly be of the good. - Shakir, Habib

So He hath made the consequence (to be) hypocrisy in their hearts until the day when they shall meet Him, because they broke their word to Allah that they promised Him, and because they lied. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

So He caused hypocrisy to ensue in their hearts until the day they will encounter Him, because of their going back on what they had promised Allah and because of the lies they used to tell. - Qarai, Ali Quli

God will, for their disregard of their promise and their telling lies, place hypocrisy in their hearts which will not leave them until they face the consequences of their deeds. - Sarwar, Muhammad

So He made hypocrisy to follow as a consequence into their hearts till the day when they shall meet Him because they failed to perform towards Allah what they had promised with Him and because they told lies. - Shakir, Habib

نتیجہ یہ نکلا کہ ان کی اِس بد عہدی کی وجہ سے جو انہوں نے اللہ کے ساتھ کی، اور اس جھوٹ کی وجہ سے جو وہ بولتے رہے، اللہ نے ان کے دلوں میں نفاق بٹھا دیا جو اس کے حضور ان کی پیشی کے دن تک ان کا پیچھا نہ چھوڑے گا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

تو اس کے پیچھے اللہ نے ان کے دلوں میں نفاق رکھ دیا اس دن تک کہ اس سے ملیں گے بدلہ اس کا کہ انہوں نے اللہ سے وعدہ جھوٹا کیا اور بدلہ اس کا کہ جھوٹ بولتے تھے - Ahmed Raza

وَأَنَّ
and that indeed
ٱللَّهَ
the One is
عَلَّٰمُ
knowledged of
ٱلْغُيُوبِ
the unseen?

أَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ سِرَّهُمْ وَنَجْوَىٰهُمْ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَّٰمُ ٱلْغُيُوبِ Do not they know that the One knows what they keep private and what they let flow, and that indeed the One is knowledged of the unseen?

Know they not that Allah knoweth both their secret and the thought that they confide, and that Allah is the Knower of Things Hidden? - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Do they not know that Allah knows their secret [thoughts] and [hears] their secret talks, and that Allah is knower of all that is Unseen? - Qarai, Ali Quli

Those who point at such of the believers as give the alms willingly and such as can find naught to give but their endeavours, and deride them - Allah (Himself) derideth them. Theirs will be a painful doom. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Those who blame the voluntary donors from among the faithful concerning the charities—and as for those who do not find [anything] except [what] their means [permit], they ridicule them—Allah shall put them to ridicule, and there is a painful punishment for them. - Qarai, Ali Quli

God mocks those (hypocrites) who blame and mock the rich or poor believers who donate to the welfare funds, and He has prepared a painful torment for them. - Sarwar, Muhammad

They who taunt those of the faithful who give their alms freely, and those who give to the extent of their earnings and scoff at them; Allah will pay them back their scoffing, and they shall have a painful chastisement. - Shakir, Habib

As for those who ridicule such believers as give alms freely for the sake of God and taunt those who find nothing to give save that which they earn through their toil, God will cause their ridicule to rebound on them: they shall have a painful punishment. - Wahiduddin Khan

جو لوگ صدقات میں فراخدلی سے حصّہ لینے والے مومنین اور ان غریبوں پر جن کے پاس ان کی محنت کے علاوہ کچھ نہیں ہے الزام لگاتے ہیں اور پھر ان کا مذاق اڑاتے ہیں خدا ان کا بھی مذاق بنادے گا اور اس کے پاس بڑا دردناک عذاب ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

(وہ خوب جانتا ہے اُن کنجوس دولت مندوں کو) جو برضا و رغبت دینے والے اہل ایمان کی مالی قربانیوں پر باتیں چھانٹتے ہیں اور ان لوگوں کا مذاق اڑاتے ہیں جن کے پاس (راہ خدا میں دینے کے لیے) اُس کے سوا کچھ نہیں ہے جو وہ اپنے اوپر مشقت برداشت کر کے دیتے ہیں اللہ اِن مذاق اڑانے والوں کا مذاق اڑاتا ہے اور ان کے لیے درد ناک سزا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور جو عیب لگاتے ہیں ان مسلمانوں کو کہ دل سے خیرات کرتے ہیں اور ان کو جو نہیں پاتے مگر اپنی محنت سے تو ان سے ہنستے ہیں اللہ ان کی ہنسی کی سزا دے گا، اور ان کے لیے دردناک عذاب ہے، - Ahmed Raza

لَهُمْ
for them,
إِن
even if
تَسْتَغْفِرْ
you ask forgiveness
لَهُمْ
for them
سَبْعِينَ
multiple
مَرَّةًۭ
times over
فَلَن
then not
يَغْفِرَ
will give pardon
ٱللَّهُ
the One
لَهُمْ
to them;
ۚ
ذَٰلِكَ
that is
بِأَنَّهُمْ
due to their
كَفَرُوا۟
denial
بِٱللَّهِ
regarding the One
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
and His messenger;
ۗ
وَٱللَّهُ
and the One
لَا
not
يَهْدِى
guides
ٱلْقَوْمَ
the nation of
ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ
the liberals.
٩
٨٠
ٱسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ أَوْ لَا تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ إِن تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ سَبْعِينَ مَرَّةًۭ فَلَن يَغْفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ Ask forgiveness for them or not ask forgiveness for them, even if you ask forgiveness for them multiple times over then not will give pardon the One to them; that is due to their denial regarding the One and His messenger; and the One not guides the nation of the liberals.

Ask forgiveness for them (O Muhammad), or ask not forgiveness for them; though thou ask forgiveness for them seventy times Allah will not forgive them. That is because they disbelieved in Allah and His messenger, and Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Whether you plead forgiveness for them or do not plead forgiveness for them, even if you plead forgiveness for them seventy times, Allah shall never forgive them because they defied Allah and His Apostle; and Allah does not guide the transgressing lot. - Qarai, Ali Quli

اے نبیؐ، تم خواہ ایسے لوگوں کے لیے معافی کی درخواست کرو یا نہ کرو، اگر تم ستر مرتبہ بھی انہیں معاف کردینے کی درخواست کرو گے تو اللہ انہیں ہرگز معاف نہ کرے گا اس لیے کہ انہوں نے اللہ اور اس کے رسول کے ساتھ کفر کیا ہے، اور اللہ فاسق لوگوں کو راہ نجات نہیں دکھاتا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

تم ان کی معافی چاہو یا نہ چاہو، اگر تم ستر بار ان کی معافی چاہو گے تو اللہ ہرگز انھیں نہیں بخشے گا یہ اس لیے کہ وہ اللہ اور اس کے رسول سے منکر ہوئے، اور اللہ فاسقوں کو راہ نہیں دیتا - Ahmed Raza

(اے رسول(ص)) آپ ان کے لئے مغفرت طلب کریں اور خواہ نہ کریں اگر (بالفرض) آپ ان کے لئے ستر بار بھی مغفرت طلب کریں جب بھی اللہ انہیں ہرگز نہیں بخشے گا۔ یہ اس لئے ہے کہ انہوں نے اللہ اور رسول کے ساتھ کفر کیا۔ اور خدا فاسق (نافرمان) لوگوں کو منزلِ مقصود تک نہیں پہنچاتا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

Those who were left behind rejoiced at sitting still behind the messenger of Allah, and were averse to striving with their wealth and their lives in Allah's way. And they said: Go not forth in the heat! Say: The fire of hell is more intense of heat, if they but understood. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Those who were left behind boasted for sitting back against [the command of] the Apostle of Allah, and were reluctant to wage jihad with their possessions and persons in the way of Allah, and they said, [Do not go forth in this heat.] Say, The fire of hell is severer in heat, should they understand. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Those who did not take part in the battle (of Tabuk), were glad about their staying home against the order of the Messenger of God. They did not want to fight for the cause of God with their property and in person and said, [Do not march (to the battle) on the hot days.] (Muhammad), tell them, [The heat of hell fire is much more severe, if only you would understand.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

Those who were left behind were glad on account of their sitting behind Allah's Apostle and they were averse from striving in Allah's way with their property and their persons, and said: Do not go forth in the heat. Say: The fire of hell is much severe in heat. Would that they understood (it). - Shakir, Habib

Those who stayed at home were glad that they were left behind by God's Messenger. They hated the thought of striving for God's cause with their possessions and their persons. They said, [Do not go forth in this heat.] Say, [The Fire of Hell is far hotter.] If only they could understand. - Wahiduddin Khan

جو لوگ جنگ تبوک میں نہیں گئے وہ رسول اللہ کے پیچھے بیٹھے رہ جانے پر خوش ہیں اور انہیں اپنے جان و مال سے راسِ خدامیں جہاد ناگوار معلوم ہوتا ہے اور یہ کہتے ہیں کہ تم لوگ گرمی میں نہ نکلو ...._ تو پیغمبر آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ آتش جہنّم اس سے زیادہ گرم ہے اگر یہ لوگ کچھ سمجھنے والے ہیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

جن لوگوں کو پیچھے رہ جانے کی اجازت دے دی گئی تھی وہ اللہ کے رسول کا ساتھ نہ دینے اور گھر بیٹھے رہنے پر خوش ہوئے اور انہیں گوارا نہ ہوا کہ اللہ کی راہ میں جان و مال سے جہاد کریں انہوں نے لوگوں سے کہا کہ ——اس سخت گرمی میں نہ نکلو—— ان سے کہو کہ جہنم کی آگ اس سے زیادہ گرم ہے، کاش انہیں اس کا شعور ہوتا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

پیچھے رہ جانے والے اس پر خوش ہوئے کہ وہ رسول کے پیچھے بیٹھ رہے اور انہیں گوارا نہ ہوا کہ اپنے مال اور جان سے اللہ کی راہ میں لڑیں اور بولے اس گرمی میں نہ نکلو، تم فرماؤ جہنم کی آگ سب سے سخت گرم ہے، کسی طرح انہیں سمجھ ہو تی - Ahmed Raza

جو (منافق جنگ تبوک میں) پیچھے چھوڑ دیے گئے وہ رسولِ خدا(ص) کے پیچھے (ان کی خواہش کے خلاف) اپنے گھروں میں بیٹھے رہنے پر خوش ہوئے اور خدا کی راہ میں اپنے مال و جان سے جہاد کرنے کو ناپسند کیا۔ اور (دوسروں سے بھی) کہا کہ گرمی میں سفر نہ کرو۔ کہہ دیجیے! کہ دوزخ کی آگ (اس سے) زیادہ گرم ہے کاش وہ یہ بات سمجھتے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
