وَٱلَّذِىٓ
And the Entity who
أَخْرَجَ
brought out
ٱلْمَرْعَىٰ
the vegetation.
And the Entity who brought out the vegetation.
⦿
Who bringeth forth the pasturage, - Pickthall, Marmaduke
⦿
who brought forth the pasture - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
It is He who has caused the grass to grow, - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
And Who brings forth herbage, - Shakir, Habib
⦿
who brings forth green pasture, - Wahiduddin Khan

جس نے چارہ بنایا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

جس نے نباتات اگائیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala
⦿
اور جس نے چارہ نکالا، - Ahmed Raza
⦿
اس نے (جانوروں کیلئے) زمین سے چارہ نکالا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

فَجَعَلَهُۥ
Then made it to
غُثَآءً
decompose
أَحْوَىٰ
from within.
Then made it to decompose from within.
⦿
Then turneth it to russet stubble. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

سَنُقْرِئُكَ
We will read these to you
فَلَا
so not
تَنسَىٰٓ
you forget.
We will read these to you so not you forget.

We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget - Pickthall, Marmaduke

We shall have you recite [the Quran], then you will not forget [any of it] - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
We will make you recite so you shall not forget, - Shakir, Habib
⦿
[O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- - Wahiduddin Khan
⦿
ہم عنقریب تمہیں اس طرح پڑھائیں گے کہ بھول نہ سکوگے - Jawadi, Zeeshan
⦿
ہم تمہیں پڑھوا دیں گے، پھر تم نہیں بھولو گے - Maududi, Abul A'ala
⦿
اب ہم تمہیں پڑھائیں گے کہ تم نہ بھولو گے - Ahmed Raza
⦿
ہم آپ(ص) کو (ایسا) پڑھائیں گے کہ پھر آپ(ص) نہیں بھولیں گے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

إِلَّا
Except
مَا
what
شَآءَ
desires
ٱللَّهُ
the One;
ۚ
إِنَّهُۥ
indeed He
يَعْلَمُ
knows
ٱلْجَهْرَ
the apparent
وَمَا
and what is
يَخْفَىٰ
obscure.
Except what desires the One; indeed He knows the apparent and what is obscure.
⦿
Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; - Pickthall, Marmaduke
⦿
except what Allah may wish. Indeed, He knows the open and what is hidden. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. - Shakir, Habib
⦿
except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- - Wahiduddin Khan
⦿
مگر یہ کہ خدا ہی چاہے کہ وہ ہر ظاہر اور مخفی رہنے والی چیز کو جانتا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan
⦿
سوائے اُس کے جو اللہ چاہے، وہ ظاہر کو بھی جانتا ہے اور جو کچھ پوشیدہ ہے اُس کو بھی - Maududi, Abul A'ala
⦿
مگر جو اللہ چاہے بیشک وہ جانتا ہے ہر کھلے اور چھپے کو، - Ahmed Raza
⦿
مگر جو اللہ چاہے (بھلا دے) بےشک وہ ظاہر کو بھی جانتا ہے اور اس کو بھی جو چھپا ہوا ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
خف | to go down | abate | decline | to cool down | decrease in intensity | lessen | thinning | hidden | invisible | cryptic | covert | secret | veiled | occult | stealthy | mysterious | fear | intimidation | anxiety
جهر | become apparent | open | public | loud | simply perceivable
علم | knowledge | find out | know | that which becomes known | information | data
ان | if | had it been | as long as | in case of | if that then | that | time | surely | is it not | at that time
له | him | it | that | his
شيأ | will | desire | wish
ما | what | not | why | how | which | where
لا | without this | minus something | not | don't | is it | nothing but
وَنُيَسِّرُكَ
And We will facilitate you
لِلْيُسْرَىٰ
for providing ease.
And We will facilitate you for providing ease.
⦿
And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. - Pickthall, Marmaduke
⦿
And We shall ease you into facility. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
We shall make all your tasks easy. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. - Shakir, Habib
⦿
We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. - Wahiduddin Khan
⦿
اور ہم تم کو آسان راستہ کی توفیق دیں گے - Jawadi, Zeeshan
⦿
اور ہم تمہیں آسان طریقے کی سہولت دیتے ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala
⦿
اور ہم تمہارے لیے آسانی کا سامان کردیں گے - Ahmed Raza
⦿
اور ہم آپ(ص) کو آسان (شریعت) کی سہولت دیں گے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
يسر | ease | simplify | facilitate | available | prosperity | affluence
فَذَكِّرْ
So remember
إِن
that,
نَّفَعَتِ
benefitial is
ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ
the reminder.
So remember that, benefitial is the reminder.
⦿
Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

So admonish, for admonition is indeed beneficial: - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. - Shakir, Habib

Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. - Wahiduddin Khan
⦿
لہذا لوگوں کوسمجھاؤ اگر سمجھانے کا فائدہ ہو - Jawadi, Zeeshan
⦿
لہٰذا تم نصیحت کرو اگر نصیحت نافع ہو - Maududi, Abul A'ala
⦿
تو تم نصیحت فرماؤ اگر نصیحت کام دے - Ahmed Raza
⦿
پس آپ(ص) نصیحت کیجئے اگر نصیحت کچھ فائدہ پہنچائے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

سَيَذَّكَّرُ
Will be remembered
مَن
who
يَخْشَىٰ
was afraid.
Will be remembered who was afraid.

he who fears [God] will take admonition, - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
Those who have fear of God will benefit - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
He who fears will mind, - Shakir, Habib
⦿
He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, - Wahiduddin Khan
⦿
عنقریب خوف خدا رکھنے والا سمجھ جائے گا - Jawadi, Zeeshan
⦿
جو شخص ڈرتا ہے وہ نصیحت قبول کر لے گا - Maududi, Abul A'ala
⦿
عنقریب نصیحت مانے گا جو ڈرتا ہے - Ahmed Raza
⦿
وہ شخص نصیحت قبول کرے گا جو (خدا و آخرت سے) ڈرتا ہوگا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
خش ⇐ خشى | appal | frighten | terrify | penetrate | dread | creeping | insert | alert | alarmed | mountain snake | poppy-plant
من | of | from | belonging to | than | who | whom | favour | blessing | peace | certification | obliging towards

وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا
And alienated themselves from
ٱلْأَشْقَى
the ones in discord.
And alienated themselves from the ones in discord.

But the most hapless will flout it, - Pickthall, Marmaduke

and the most wretched will shun it - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
but the reprobates will turn away - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, - Shakir, Habib
⦿
but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, - Wahiduddin Khan
⦿
اور بدبخت اس سے کنارہ کشی کرے گا - Jawadi, Zeeshan
⦿
اور اس سے گریز کریگا وہ انتہائی بد بخت - Maududi, Abul A'ala
⦿
اور اس سے وہ بڑا بدبخت دور رہے گا، - Ahmed Raza
⦿
اور جو بدبخت ہے وہ اس سے گریز کرے گا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

ٱلَّذِى
The ones
يَصْلَى
joined upon
ٱلنَّارَ
the fire
ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ
that is the greatest.
The ones joined upon the fire that is the greatest.

and suffer the heat of the great fire - Sarwar, Muhammad

جو بہت بڑی آگ میں جلنے والا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

جو سب سے بڑی آگ میں جائے گا - Ahmed Raza

جو بڑی آگ میں داخل ہوگا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

Then
لَا

يَمُوتُ
dies
فِيهَا
therein
وَلَا
and not
يَحْيَىٰ
lives.
Then not dies therein and not lives.
⦿
Wherein he will neither die nor live. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

then he will neither live in it, nor die. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
wherein they will neither live nor die. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
Then therein he shall neither live nor die. - Shakir, Habib

پھر نہ اس میں زندگی ہے نہ موت - Jawadi, Zeeshan

Surely
أَفْلَحَ
successful is
مَن
who
تَزَكَّىٰ
became free.
Surely successful is who became free.
⦿
He is successful who groweth, - Pickthall, Marmaduke

[Felicitous is he who purifies himself, - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, - Shakir, Habib
⦿
He who purifies himself, - Wahiduddin Khan
⦿
بے شک پاکیزہ رہنے والا کامیاب ہوگیا - Jawadi, Zeeshan
⦿
فلاح پا گیا وہ جس نے پاکیزگی اختیار کی - Maududi, Abul A'ala

بیشک مراد کو پہنچا جو ستھرا ہوا - Ahmed Raza
⦿
وہ شخص فائز المرام ہوا جس نے اپنے آپ کو (بداعتقادی و بدعملی سے) پاک کیا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
