وَٱلَّذِينَ
And the ones who
ءَامَنُوا۟
are convinced
وَعَمِلُوا۟
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
the constructive things
لَا
— not
نُكَلِّفُ
We charge their
نَفْسًا
psyche
إِلَّا
beyond
وُسْعَهَآ
its capacity —
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
those are
أَصْحَٰبُ
companions of
ٱلْجَنَّةِ
the paradise;
ۖ
هُمْ
they
فِيهَا
therein
خَٰلِدُونَ
will be living.
٧
٤٢
وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَآ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ And the ones who are convinced and do the constructive things — not We charge their psyche beyond its capacity — those are companions of the paradise; they therein will be living.
⦿
But (as for) those who believe and do good works - We tax not any soul beyond its scope - Such are rightful owners of the Garden. They abide therein. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

As for those who have faith and do righteous deeds—We task no soul except according to its capacity—they shall be the inhabitants of paradise, and they shall remain in it [forever]. - Qarai, Ali Quli

The righteously striving believers - We do not impose on any soul that which is beyond its ability - are the dwellers of Paradise wherein they will live forever. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
And (as for) those who believe and do good We do not impose on any soul a duty except to the extent of its ability-- they are the dwellers of the garden; in it they shall abide. - Shakir, Habib
⦿
But those who believed and did good deeds, and We do not burden any soul with more than it can bear, such are the heirs of the Garden and there they will remain forever. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور جن لوگوں نے ایمان اختیار کیا اور نیک اعمال کئے ہم کسی نفس کو اس کی وسعت سے زیادہ تکلیف نہیں دیتے وہی لوگ جنّتی ہیں اور اس میں ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

بخلاف اس کے جن لوگوں نے ہماری آیات کو مان لیا ہے اور اچھے کام کیے ہیں اور اس باب میں ہم ہر ایک کو اس کی استطاعت ہی کے مطابق ذمہ دار ٹھیراتے ہیں وہ اہل جنت ہیں جہاں وہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور وہ جو ایمان لائے اور طاقت بھر اچھے کام کیے ہم کسی پر طاقت سے زیادہ بوجھ نہیں رکھتے، وہ جنت والے ہیں، انہیں اس میں ہمیشہ رہنا، - Ahmed Raza

اور جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور نیک عمل کرتے رہے ہم کسی نفس کو اس کی وسعت سے زیادہ تکلیف نہیں دیتے یہی لوگ جنتی ہیں وہ اس میں ہمیشہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِى صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهِمُ ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۖ وَقَالُوا۟ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى هَدَىٰنَا لِهَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِنَهْتَدِىَ لَوْلَآ أَنْ هَدَىٰنَا ٱللَّهُ ۖ لَقَدْ جَآءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ وَنُودُوٓا۟ أَن تِلْكُمُ ٱلْجَنَّةُ أُورِثْتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And We remove whatever rancour may be in their hearts. Rivers flow beneath them. And they say: The praise to Allah, Who hath guided us to this. We could not truly have been led aright if Allah had not guided us. Verily the messengers of our Lord did bring the Truth. And it is cried unto them: This is the Garden. Ye inherit it for what ye used to do. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

We will remove whatever rancour there is in their breasts, and streams will run for them. They will say, [All praise belongs to Allah, who guided us to this. We would have never been guided had not Allah guided us. Our Lord]s apostles had certainly brought the truth.] And the call would be made to them: [This is paradise, which you have been given to inherit because of what you used to do!] - Qarai, Ali Quli

We shall remove all grudges from their hearts. They will enjoy the flowing streams in the garden and will say, [God who guided us to this, deserves all praise. Had He not guided us, we would never have been able to find the right direction. The (angelic) Messengers of our Lord came to us with the Truth.] They shall be told, 'This is the Paradise which you have inherited because of your good deeds.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

And We will remove whatever of ill-feeling is in their breasts; the rivers shall flow beneath them and they shall say: All praise is due to Allah Who guided us to this, and we would not have found the way had it not been that Allah had guided us; certainly the apostles of our Lord brought the truth; and it shall be cried out to them that this is the garden of which you are made heirs for what you did. - Shakir, Habib

And We shall remove whatever rancour may be in their hearts. At their feet shall flow rivers. And they shall say, [All praise belongs to God who has guided us to this. Had God not guided us, we would never have found the way. The messengers of our Lord brought the Truth.] A voice will call out to them, [This is the Garden which you have inherited by your labours.] - Wahiduddin Khan

اور ہم نے ان کے سینوں سے ہر کینہ کو الگ کردیا. ان کے قدموں میں نہریں جاری ہوں گی اور وہ کہیں گے کہ طُکر ہے پروردگار کا کہ اس نے ہمیں یہاں تک آنے کا راستہ بتادیا ورنہ اس کی ہدایت نہ ہوتی تو ہم یہاں تک آنے کا راستہ بھی نہیں پاسکتے تھے -بیشک ہمارے رسول سب دینِ حق لے کر آئے تھے تو پھر انہیں آواز دی جائے گی کہ یہ وہ جّنتہے جس کا تمہیں تمہارے اعمال کی بنا پر وارث بنایا گیا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

ان کے دلوں میں ایک دوسرے کے خلاف جو کچھ کدورت ہوگی اسے ہم نکال دیں گے اُن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہونگی، اور وہ کہیں گے کہ ——تعریف خدا ہی کے لیے ہے جس نے ہمیں یہ راستہ دکھایا، ہم خود راہ نہ پا سکتے تھے اگر خدا ہماری رہنمائی نہ کرتا، ہمارے رب کے بھیجے ہوئے رسول واقعی حق ہی لے کر آئے تھے—— اُس وقت ندا آئے گی کہ ——یہ جنت جس کے تم وارث بنائے گئے ہو تمہیں اُن اعمال کے بدلے میں ملی ہے جو تم کرتے رہے تھے—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور ہم نے ان کے سینوں سے کینے کھینچ لیے ان کے نیچے نہریں بہیں گی اور کہیں گے سب خوبیاں اللہ کو جس نے ہمیں اس کی راہ دکھائی اور ہم راہ نہ پاتے اگر اللہ ہمیں راہ نہ دکھاتا، بیشک ہمارے رب کے رسول حق لائے اور ندا ہوئی کہ یہ جنت تمہیں میراث ملی صلہ تمہارے اعمال کا، - Ahmed Raza

اور جو کچھ ان کے دلوں میں کدورت ہوگی ہم اسے باہر نکال دیں گے ان کے نیچے سے نہریں بہتی ہوں گی۔ اور وہ شکر کرتے ہوئے کہیں گے ہر قسم کی تعریف اس اللہ کے لئے ہے جس نے ہمیں اس منزلِ مقصود تک پہنچایا اور ہم کبھی یہاں تک نہیں پہنچ سکتے تھے اگر وہ ہمیں نہ پہنچاتا۔ یقینا ہمارے پروردگار کے رسول حق کے ساتھ آئے اور انہیں ندا دی جائے گی کہ یہ بہشت ہے جس کے تم اپنے ان اعمال کی بدولت وارث بنائے گئے ہو۔ جو تم انجام دیا کرتے تھے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

وَنَادَىٰٓ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلنَّارِ أَن قَدْ وَجَدْنَا مَا وَعَدَنَا رَبُّنَا حَقًّۭا فَهَلْ وَجَدتُّم مَّا وَعَدَ رَبُّكُمْ حَقًّۭا ۖ قَالُوا۟ نَعَمْ ۚ فَأَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنٌۢ بَيْنَهُمْ أَن لَّعْنَةُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And the dwellers of the Garden cry unto the dwellers of the Fire: We have found that which our Lord promised us (to be) the Truth. Have ye (too) found that which your Lord promised the Truth? They say: Yea, verily. And a crier in between them crieth: The curse of Allah is on evil-doers, - Pickthall, Marmaduke

The inhabitants of paradise will call out to the inmates of the Fire, [We found what our Lord promised us to be true; did you find what your Lord promised you to be true?] [Yes,] they will say. Then a caller will announce in their midst, [May Allah]s curse be on the wrongdoers!] - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
The people of Paradise will say to the dwellers of the fire, [We have found whatever our Lord promised has come true. Have you found whatever the Lord promised you to be true?] They will reply, [Yes, we have also found it to be true.] Thereupon, someone will cry out, [God has condemned the unjust, - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
And the dwellers of the garden will call out to the inmates of the fire: Surely we have found what our Lord promised us to be true; have you too found what your Lord promised to be true? They will say: Yes. Then a crier will cry out among them that the curse of Allah is on the unjust. - Shakir, Habib

The people of the Garden will call out to the people of the Fire, [We have found that what our Lord promised us is true. Have you, too, found that what your Lord promised you is true?] They will say, [Yes, we have!] Then a crier shall call out among them saying, [The curse of God is upon the wrongdoers -- - Wahiduddin Khan

اور جنّتی لوگ جہّنمیوں سے پکار کر کہیں گے کہ جو کچھ ہمارے پروردگار نے ہم سے وعدہ کیا تھا وہ ہم نے تو پالیا کیا تم نے بھی حسب وعدہ حاصل کرلیا ہے وہ کہیں گے بیشک .پھر ایک منادی آواز دے گا کہ ظالمین پر خدا کی لعنت ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

پھر یہ جنت کے لوگ دوزخ والوں سے پکار کر کہیں گے، ——ہم نے اُن سارے وعدوں کو ٹھیک پا لیا جو ہمارے رب نے ہم سے کیے تھے، کیا تم نے بھی ان وعدوں کو ٹھیک پایا جو تمہارے رب نے کیے تھے؟—— وہ جواب دیں گے ——ہاں—— تب ایک پکارنے والا ان کے درمیان پکارے گا کہ ——خدا کی لعنت اُن ظالموں پر - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور جنت والوں نے دوزخ والوں کو پکارا کہ ہمیں تو مل گیا جو سچا وعدہ ہم سے ہمارے رب نے کیا تھا تو کیا تم نے بھی پایا جو تمہارے رب نے سچا وعدہ تمہیں دیا تھا بولے، ہاں! اور بیچ میں منادی نے پکار دیا کہ اللہ کی لعنت ظالموں پر - Ahmed Raza

اور جنتی لوگ دوزخیوں کو ندا دیں گے کہ ہمارے پروردگار نے ہم سے جو وعدہ کیا تھا اس کو ہم نے تو سچا پا لیا ہے کیا تم نے بھی اس وعدہ کو جو تمہارے پروردگار نے تم سے کیا تھا سچا پایا ہے؟ وہ (جواب میں) کہیں گے ہاں تب ایک منادی ان کے درمیان ندا کرے گا کہ خدا کی لعنت ان ظالموں پر۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

The ones who
يَصُدُّونَ
obstruct
عَن

ٱللَّهِ
the One
وَيَبْغُونَهَا
and seek in it
عِوَجًۭا
crookedness,
وَهُم
and they
بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ
about the forthcoming
كَٰفِرُونَ
are in denial.
٧
٤٥
ٱلَّذِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًۭا وَهُم بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ كَٰفِرُونَ The ones who obstruct from way of the One and seek in it crookedness, and they about the forthcoming are in denial.
⦿
Who debar (men) from the path of Allah and would have it crooked, and who are disbelievers in the Last Day. - Pickthall, Marmaduke
⦿
—Those who bar [others] from the way of Allah, and seek to make it crooked, and disbelieve in the Hereafter. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
who prevented others from the way of God, sought to make (the path) appear crooked, and had no belief in the Day of Judgment.] - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
Who hinder (people) from Allah's way and seek to make it crooked, and they are disbelievers in the hereafter. - Shakir, Habib
⦿
who turned people away from the path of God and sought to make it appear crooked, and who denied the Hereafter.] - Wahiduddin Khan

جو راہ هخدا سے روکتے تھے اور اس میں کجی پیدا کیا کرتے تھے اور آخرت کے منکر تھے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

جو اللہ کے راستے سے لوگوں کو روکتے اور اسے ٹیڑھا کرنا چاہتے تھے اور آخرت کے منکر تھے—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala
⦿
جو اللہ کی راہ سے روکتے ہیں اور اسے کجی چاہتے ہیں اور آخرت کا انکار رکھتے ہیں، - Ahmed Raza

وَبَيْنَهُمَا حِجَابٌۭ ۚ وَعَلَى ٱلْأَعْرَافِ رِجَالٌۭ يَعْرِفُونَ كُلًّۢا بِسِيمَىٰهُمْ ۚ وَنَادَوْا۟ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ أَن سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ لَمْ يَدْخُلُوهَا وَهُمْ يَطْمَعُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Between them is a veil. And on the Heights are men who know them all by their marks. And they call unto the dwellers of the Garden: Peace be unto you! They enter it not although they hope (to enter). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

There will be a veil between them. And on the Elevations will be certain men who recognize each of them by their mark. They will call out to the inhabitants of paradise, [Peace be to you!] (They will not have entered it, though they would be eager to do so. - Qarai, Ali Quli

There will be a barrier between the people of Paradise and hell. There will be people on the heights who know everyone by their faces and who will say to the people of Paradise, [Peace be upon you.] They hope to enter Paradise but are not yet therein. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And between the two there shall be a veil, and on the most elevated places there shall be men who know all by their marks, and they shall call out to the dwellers of the garden: Peace be on you; they shall not have yet entered it, though they hope. - Shakir, Habib

A barrier will divide the two groups, and on the heights there will be men who recognize each group by their marks. They will call out to the people of the Garden, [Peace be with you.] They will not have yet entered, but they will be hoping [to do so], - Wahiduddin Khan

اور ان کے درمیان پردہ ڈال دیا جائے گا اور اعراف پر کچھ لوگ ہوں گے جو سب کو ان کی نشانیوں سے پہچان لیں گے اور اصحابِ جنّت کو آواز دیں گے کہ تم پر ہمارا سلام -وہ جنّت میں داخل نہ ہوئے ہوں گے لیکن اس کی خواہش رکھتے ہوں گے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

ان دونوں گروہوں کے درمیان ایک اوٹ حائل ہوگی جس کی بلندیوں (اعراف) پر کچھ اور لوگ ہوں گے یہ ہر ایک کو اس کے قیافہ سے پہچانیں گے اور جنت والوں سے پکار کر کہیں گے کہ ——سلامتی ہو تم پر—— یہ لوگ جنت میں داخل تو نہیں ہوئے مگر اس کے امیدوار ہونگے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور جنت و دوزخ کے بیچ میں ایک پردہ ہے اور اعراف پر کچھ مرد ہوں گے کہ دونوں فریق کو ان کی پیشانیوں سے پہچانیں گے اور وہ جنتیوں کو پکاریں گے کہ سلام تم پر یہ جنت میں نہ گئے اور اس کی طمع رکھتے ہیں، - Ahmed Raza

اور ان دونوں (بہشت و دوزخ) کے درمیان پردہ ہے (حدِ فاصل ہے) اور اعراف پر کچھ لوگ ہوں گے جو ہر ایک کو اس کی علامت سے پہچان لیں گے۔ اور وہ بہشت والوں کو پکار کر کہیں گے کہ تم پر سلام ہو اور یہ لوگ (ابھی) اس میں داخل نہیں ہوئے ہوں گے۔ حالانکہ وہ اس کی خواہش رکھتے ہوں گے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

And when their eyes are turned toward the dwellers of the Fire, they say: Our Lord! Place us not with the wrong-doing folk. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And when their look is turned toward the inmates of the Fire, they will say, [Our Lord, do not put us among the wrongdoing lot!]) - Qarai, Ali Quli

When their eyes turn to the dwellers of hell, they will pray, [Lord, do not place us among the unjust.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

And when their eyes shall be turned towards the inmates of the fire, they shall say: Our Lord! place us not with the unjust - Shakir, Habib

and when they turn their eyes towards the inmates of the Fire, they will say, [Our Lord, do not include us among the wrongdoers!] - Wahiduddin Khan

اور پھر جب ان کی نظر جہّنموالوں کی طرف مڑ جائے گی تو کہیں گے کہ پروردگار ہم کو ان ظالمین کے ساتھ نہ قرار دینا - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور جب ان کی نگاہیں دوزخ والوں کی طرف پھریں گی تو کہیں گے، ——اے رب! ہمیں اِن ظالم لوگوں میں شامل نہ کیجیو—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

وَنَادَىٰٓ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْأَعْرَافِ رِجَالًۭا يَعْرِفُونَهُم بِسِيمَىٰهُمْ قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنكُمْ جَمْعُكُمْ وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And the dwellers on the Heights call unto men whom they know by their marks, (saying): What did your multitude and that in which ye took your pride avail you? - Pickthall, Marmaduke

The occupants of the Elevations will call out to certain men whom they recognize by their marks, [Your rallying did not avail you, nor what you used to disdain. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
The people of the Heights will say to those (in hell) whose faces they recognize, [Why did your supporters and your pride not help you?] - Sarwar, Muhammad

And the dwellers of the most elevated places shall call out to men whom they will recognize by their marks saying: Of no avail were to you your amassings and your behaving haughtily: - Shakir, Habib

And the people of the heights will call out to men they recognize by their marks, [What use have your great numbers and your false pride been? - Wahiduddin Khan

اور اعراف والے ان لوگوں کو جنہیں وہ نشانیوں سے پہچانتے ہوں گے آواز دیں گے کہ آج نہ تمہاری جماعت کام آئی اور نہ تمہارا غرور کام آیا - Jawadi, Zeeshan

پھر یہ اعراف کے لوگ دوزخ کی چند بڑی بڑی شخصیتوں کو ان کی علامتوں سے پہچان کر پکاریں گے کہ ——دیکھ لیا تم نے، آج نہ تمہارے جتھے تمہارے کسی کام آئے اور نہ وہ ساز و سامان جن کو تم بڑی چیز سمجھتے تھے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور اعراف والے کچھ مردوں کو پکاریں گے جنہیں ان کی پیشانی سے پہچانتے ہیں کہیں گے تمہیں کیا کام آیا تمہارا جتھا اور وہ جو تم غرور کرتے تھے - Ahmed Raza

اور پھر اعراف والے لوگ (دوزخ والے چند آدمیوں کو) آواز دیں گے جنہیں وہ علامتوں سے پہچانتے ہوں گے۔ کہ آج تمہاری جمعیت اور تمہارا غرور و پندار کچھ کام نہ آیا اور تمہیں کوئی فائدہ نہ پہنچایا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

Are these they of whom ye swore that Allah would not show them mercy? (Unto them it hath been said): Enter the Garden. No fear shall come upon you nor is it ye who will grieve. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Are these the ones concerning whom you swore that Allah will not extend them any mercy?] [Enter paradise! You shall have no fear, nor shall you grieve.] - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
They will also say, [Are these (the people of Paradise) the ones of whom you swore would receive no mercy from God?] They will continue, [ People of Paradise, live therein without any fear or grief.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

Are these they about whom you swore that Allah will not bestow mercy on them? Enter the garden; you shall have no fear, nor shall you grieve. - Shakir, Habib

See! are these not the people you swore would never earn God's mercy? 'Enter the Garden! No fear shall come upon you nor shall you grieve.'] - Wahiduddin Khan

کیا یہی لوگ ہیں جن کے بارے میں تم قسمیں کھایا کرتے تھے کہ انہیں رحمت خدا حاصل نہ ہوگی جن سے ہم نے کہہ دیا ہے کہ جاؤ جنّت میں چلے جاؤ تمہارے لئے نہ کوئی خوف ہے اور نہ کوئی حزن - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور کیا یہ اہل جنت وہی لوگ نہیں ہیں جن کے متعلق تم قسمیں کھا کھا کر کہتے تھے کہ اِن کو تو خدا پنی رحمت میں سے کچھ بھی نہ دے گا؟ آج انہی سے کہا گیا کہ داخل ہو جاؤ جنت میں، تمہارے لیے نہ خوف ہے نہ رنج—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

کیا یہ ہیں وہ لوگ جن پر تم قسمیں کھاتے تھے کہ اللہ ان پر اپنی رحمت کچھ نہ کرے گا ان سے تو کہا گیا کہ جنت میں جاؤ نہ تم کو اندیشہ نہ کچھ غم، - Ahmed Raza

(پھر کچھ مستحقین جنت کی طرف اشارہ کرتے ہوئے کہیں گے) کیا یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جن کے متعلق تم قسمیں کھا کھا کر کہتے تھے کہ اللہ ان تک اپنی کچھ بھی رحمت نہیں پہنچائے گا۔ (پھر ان مستحقین جنت سے کہیں گے) تم بہشت میں داخل ہو جاؤ۔ نہ تم پر کوئی خوف ہے اور نہ ہی تم مغموم ہوگے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

And will call
أَصْحَٰبُ
companions of
ٱلنَّارِ
the fire (upon)
أَصْحَٰبَ
companions of
ٱلْجَنَّةِ
the paradise
أَنْ
that,
أَفِيضُوا۟
[Please bestow aid
عَلَيْنَا
upon us
مِنَ
from
ٱلْمَآءِ
the water,
أَوْ
or
مِمَّا
from what
رَزَقَكُمُ
sustenance gives you
ٱللَّهُ
the One.]
ۚ
قَالُوٓا۟
Their reply,
إِنَّ
[Surely
ٱللَّهَ
the One
حَرَّمَهُمَا
has forbidden those
عَلَى
upon
ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
the denying people.]
٧
٥٠
وَنَادَىٰٓ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ أَنْ أَفِيضُوا۟ عَلَيْنَا مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ أَوْ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۚ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ حَرَّمَهُمَا عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ And will call companions of the fire (upon) companions of the paradise that, [Please bestow aid upon us from the water, or from what sustenance gives you the One.] Their reply, [Surely the One has forbidden those upon the denying people.]

And the dwellers of the Fire cry out unto the dwellers of the Garden: Pour on us some water or some wherewith Allah hath provided you. They say: Lo! Allah hath forbidden both to disbelievers (in His guidance), - Pickthall, Marmaduke
⦿
The inmates of the Fire will call out to the inhabitants of paradise, [Pour on us some water, or something of what Allah has provided you.] They will say, [Allah has indeed forbidden these two to the faithless!] - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
The dwellers of the fire will ask the people of Paradise to give them some water or other things which God has granted to them. They will reply, [God has deprived the unbelievers of the blessings of Paradise.] - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
And the inmates of the fire shall call out to the dwellers of the garden, saying: Pour on us some water or of that which Allah has given you. They shall say: Surely Allah has prohibited them both to the unbelievers. - Shakir, Habib
⦿
The people of the Fire shall call out to the people of heaven, [Pour out some water on us, or give us something out of that which God has bestowed upon you.] But the blessed will reply, [God has forbidden all that to those who denied the truth. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور جہّنم والے جنّت والوں سے پکار کر کہیں گے کہ ذرا ٹھنڈا پانی یا خدا نے جو رزق تمہیں دیا ہے اس میں سے ہمیں بھی پہنچاؤ تو وہ لوگ جواب دیں گے کہ ان چیزوں کو اللہ نے کافروں پر حرام کردیا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور دوزخ کے لوگ جنت والوں کو پکاریں گے کہ کچھ تھوڑا سا پانی ہم پر ڈال دو یا جو رزق اللہ نے تمہیں دیا ہے اُسی میں سے کچھ پھینک دو وہ جواب دیں گے کہ ——اللہ نے یہ دونوں چیزیں اُن منکرین حق پر حرام کر دی ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور دوزخی بہشتیوں کو پکاریں گے کہ ہمیں اپنے پانی کا فیض دو یا اس کھانے کا جو اللہ نے تمہیں دیا کہیں گے بیشک اللہ نے ان دونوں کو کافروں پر حرام کیا ہے - Ahmed Raza

اور دوزخ والے بہشت والوں کو پکاریں گے کہ تھوڑا سا پانی یا جو کچھ اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمہیں کھانے کو عطا فرمایا ہے اس میں سے کچھ ہماری طرف انڈیل دو وہ (جواب میں) کہیں گے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ دونوں چیزیں کافروں پر حرام کر دی ہیں۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

Who took their religion for a sport and pastime, and whom the life of the world beguiled. So this day We have forgotten them even as they forgot the meeting of this their Day and as they used to deny Our tokens. - Pickthall, Marmaduke
