قُلْ
Say,
هُوَ
[He is
ٱلْقَادِرُ
the Most Capable
عَلَىٰٓ
upon
أَن
that
يَبْعَثَ
He induces
عَلَيْكُمْ
upon you
عَذَابًۭا
torment
مِّن
from
فَوْقِكُمْ
above you
أَوْ
or
مِن
from
تَحْتِ
below
أَرْجُلِكُمْ
your feet,
أَوْ
or
يَلْبِسَكُمْ
fashions you
شِيَعًۭا
as different groups
وَيُذِيقَ
and give a taste to
بَعْضَكُم
some of you (from)
بَأْسَ
violence of
بَعْضٍ
others];
ۗ
ٱنظُرْ
Consider
كَيْفَ
how
نُصَرِّفُ
We make distinct
ٱلْـَٔايَٰتِ
the signs,
لَعَلَّهُمْ
so that they may
يَفْقَهُونَ
understand.
٦
٦٥
قُلْ هُوَ ٱلْقَادِرُ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَبْعَثَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابًۭا مِّن فَوْقِكُمْ أَوْ مِن تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِكُمْ أَوْ يَلْبِسَكُمْ شِيَعًۭا وَيُذِيقَ بَعْضَكُم بَأْسَ بَعْضٍ ۗ ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ نُصَرِّفُ ٱلْـَٔايَٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَفْقَهُونَ Say, [He is the Most Capable upon that He induces upon you torment from above you or from below your feet, or fashions you as different groups and give a taste to some of you (from) violence of others]; Consider how We make distinct the signs, so that they may understand.

Say: He is able to send punishment upon you from above you or from beneath your feet, or to bewilder you with dissension and make you taste the tyranny one of another. See how We display the revelations so that they may understand. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Say, [He is able to send upon you a punishment from above you or from under your feet, or confound you as [hostile] factions, and make you taste one another]s violence.] Look, how We paraphrase the signs variously so that they may understand! - Qarai, Ali Quli

Say, [God has the power to send torment on you from above or below your feet, or to divide you into different groups quite hostile to one another, and make you suffer from each other's animosity.] Consider how plainly We show them a variety of evidence (of the Truth) so that they may have understanding. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Say: He has the power that He should send on you a chastisement from above you or from beneath your feet, or that He should throw you into confusion, (making you) of different parties; and make some of you taste the fighting of others. See how We repeat the communications that they may understand. - Shakir, Habib

کہہ دیجئے کہ وہی اس بات پر بھی قادر ہے کہ تمہارے اوپر سے یا پیروں کے نیچے سے عذاب بھیج دے یا ایک گروہ کو دوسرے سے ٹکرادے اور ایک کے ذریعہ دوسرے کو عذاب کا مزہ چکھادے -دیکھو ہم کس طرح آیات کو پلٹ پلٹ کر بیان کرتے ہیں کہ شاید ان کی سمجھ میں آجائے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

کہو، وہ اِس پر قادر ہے کہ تم پر کوئی عذاب اوپر سے نازل کر دے، یا تمہارے قدموں کے نیچے سے برپا کر دے، یا تمہیں گروہوں میں تقسیم کر کے ایک گروہ کو دوسرے گروہ کی طاقت کا مزہ چکھوا دے دیکھو، ہم کس طرح بار بار مختلف طریقوں سے اپنی نشانیاں ان کے سامنے پیش کر رہے ہیں شاید کہ یہ حقیقت کو سمجھ لیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

تم فرماؤ وہ قادر ہے کہ تم پر عذاب بھیجے تمہارے اوپر سے یا تمہارے پاؤں کے تلے (نیچے) سے یا تمہیں بھڑا دے مختلف گروہ کرکے اور ایک کو دوسرے کی سختی چکھائے، دیکھو ہم کیونکر طرح طرح سے آیتیں بیان کرتے ہیں کہ کہیں ان کو سمجھ ہو - Ahmed Raza

کہہ دو وہ (اللہ) اس پر قادر ہے کہ تم پر کوئی عذاب نازل کرے تمہارے اوپر سے یا تمہارے پاؤں کے نیچے سے (بھیج دے)۔ یا تمہیں مختلف گروہوں میں تقسیم کرکے اور باہم خلط ملط کرکے ٹکرا دے اور تم میں سے بعض کو بعض کی طاقت و سختی کا مزا چکھا دے۔ دیکھیے ہم کس طرح الٹ پھیر کرکے اپنی آیات (دلیلوں) اور نشانیوں کو بیان کرتے ہیں تاکہ وہ سمجھ جائیں۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

And lied
بِهِۦ
about it
قَوْمُكَ
your nation
وَهُوَ
while it was
ٱلْحَقُّ
the fact.
ۚ
قُل
Say,
لَّسْتُ
[Not I am
عَلَيْكُم
towards you
بِوَكِيلٍۢ
with advocacy.]
And lied about it your nation while it was the fact. Say, [Not I am towards you with advocacy.]

Thy people (O Muhammad) have denied it, though it is the Truth. Say: I am not put in charge of you. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

اور آپ کی قوم نے اس قرآن کی تکذیب کی حالانکہ وہ بالکل حق ہے تو آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ میں تمہارا نگہبان نہیں ہوں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

تمہاری قوم اُس کا انکار کر رہی ہے حالانکہ وہ حقیقت ہے اِن سے کہہ دو کہ میں تم پر حوالہ دار نہیں بنایا گیا ہوں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور اسے جھٹلایا تمہاری قوم نے اور یہی حق ہے، تم فرماؤ میں تم پر کچھ کڑوڑا (حاکمِ اعلیٰ) نہیں - Ahmed Raza

اور آپ کی قوم نے اس (قرآن) کو جھٹلایا حالانکہ وہ حق ہے کہہ دیجیے کہ میں تمہارا وکیل (نگہبان) نہیں ہوں۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

For every
نَبَإٍۢ
information
مُّسْتَقَرٌّۭ
there is a time for its establishment,
ۚ
وَسَوْفَ
and in due time
تَعْلَمُونَ
you will come to know.
For every information there is a time for its establishment, and in due time you will come to know.

For every announcement there is a term, and ye will come to know. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

For every prophecy there is a [preordained] setting, and soon you will know. - Qarai, Ali Quli

اور ہر خبر (کے وقوع) کا ایک وقت مقرر ہے۔ اور عنقریب تمہیں معلوم ہو جائے گا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

وَإِذَا
And whenever
رَأَيْتَ
you see
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones
يَخُوضُونَ
who are pointlessly engaged
فِىٓ
in
ءَايَٰتِنَا
Our signs,
فَأَعْرِضْ
then excuse yourself
عَنْهُمْ
from them
حَتَّىٰ
until
يَخُوضُوا۟
they occupy themselves
فِى
in
حَدِيثٍ
a narration
غَيْرِهِۦ
other than it;
ۚ
وَإِمَّا
and in case
يُنسِيَنَّكَ
you are made to forget Us by
ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ
the fiend,
فَلَا
then do not
تَقْعُدْ
sit,
بَعْدَ
after
ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ
the reminder,
مَعَ
with
ٱلْقَوْمِ
the people who are
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
blind followers.
٦
٦٨
وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخُوضُونَ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يَخُوضُوا۟ فِى حَدِيثٍ غَيْرِهِۦ ۚ وَإِمَّا يُنسِيَنَّكَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ فَلَا تَقْعُدْ بَعْدَ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ مَعَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ And whenever you see the ones who are pointlessly engaged in Our signs, then excuse yourself from them until they occupy themselves in a narration other than it; and in case you are made to forget Us by the fiend, then do not sit, after the reminder, with the people who are blind followers.
⦿
And when thou seest those who meddle with Our revelations, withdraw from them until they meddle with another topic. And if the devil cause thee to forget, sit not, after the remembrance, with the congregation of wrong-doers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

When you see those who gossip impiously about Our signs, avoid them until they engage in some other discourse; but if Satan makes you forget, then, after remembering, do not sit with the wrongdoing lot. - Qarai, Ali Quli

When you see people mocking Our revelations, turn away from them so that they may change the subject. If Satan causes you to forget this, do not sit with the unjust people when you remember. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And when you see those who enter into false discourses about Our communications, withdraw from them until they enter into some other discourse, and if the Shaitan causes you to forget, then do not sit after recollection with the unjust people. - Shakir, Habib

When you see people engaged in finding fault with Our revelations, withdraw from them until they turn to some other topic. Should Satan cause you to forget this, take leave of the wrongdoers as soon as you remember. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور جب تم دیکھو کہ لوگ ہماری نشانیوں کے بارے میں بے ربط بحث کررہے ہیں تو ان سے کنارہ کش ہوجاؤ یہاں تک کہ وہ دوسری بات میں مصروف ہوجائیں اور اگر شیطان غافل کردے تو یاد آنے کے بعد پھر ظالموں کے ساتھ نہ بیٹھنا - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور اے محمدؐ! جب تم دیکھو کہ لوگ ہماری آیات پر نکتہ چینیاں کر رہے ہیں تو ان کے پاس سے ہٹ جاؤ یہاں تک کہ وہ اس گفتگو کو چھوڑ کر دوسری باتوں میں لگ جائیں اور اگر کبھی شیطان تمہیں بھلاوے میں ڈال دے تو جس وقت تمہیں اس غلطی کا احساس ہو جائے اس کے بعد پھر ایسے ظالم لوگوں کے پاس نہ بیٹھو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور اے سننے والے! جب تو انہیں دیکھے جو ہماری آیتوں میں پڑتے ہیں تو ان سے منہ پھیر لے جب تک اور بات میں پڑیں، اور جو کہیں تجھے شیطان بھلاوے تو یاد آئے پر ظالموں کے پاس نہ بیٹھ، - Ahmed Raza

اور جب دیکھو کہ لوگ ہماری آیتوں کے بارے میں نکتہ چینی اور بے ہودہ بحث کر رہے ہیں تو تم ان سے کنارہ کش ہو جاؤ۔ یہاں تک کہ وہ کسی اور بات میں مشغول ہو جائیں اور (اے مخاطب) اگر کبھی شیطان تجھے بھلا دے تو یاد آنے کے بعد ظالم لوگوں کے پاس مت بیٹھ۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
