فَإِن كَذَّبُوكَ فَقُل رَّبُّكُمْ ذُو رَحْمَةٍۢ وَٰسِعَةٍۢ وَلَا يُرَدُّ بَأْسُهُۥ عَنِ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

So if they give the lie to thee (Muhammad), say: Your Lord is a Lord of All-Embracing Mercy, and His wrath will never be withdrawn from guilty folk. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

But if they deny you, say, [Your Lord is dispenser of an all-embracing mercy, but His punishment will not be averted from the guilty lot.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

They reject you. (Muhammad), tell them, [Your Lord's mercy is completely overwhelming, but no one can save the sinful from His wrath.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

But if they give you the lie, then say: Your Lord is the Lord of All-encompassing mercy; and His punishment cannot be averted from the guilty people. - Shakir, Habib

So, if they accuse you of lying, say, [The mercy of your Lord is all-encompassing. His punishment cannot be averted from sinful men.] - Wahiduddin Khan

پھر اگر یہ لوگ آپ کو جھٹلائیں تو کہہ دیجئے کہ تمہارا پروردگار بڑی وسیع رحمت والا ہے لیکن اس کا عذاب مجرمین سے ٹالابھی نہیں جاسکتا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اب اگر وہ تمہیں جھٹلائیں تو ان سے کہہ دو کہ تمہارے رب کا دامن رحمت وسیع ہے اور مجرموں سے اس کے عذاب کو پھیرا نہیں جاسکتا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

They who are idolaters will say: Had Allah willed, we had not ascribed (unto Him) partners neither had our fathers, nor had we forbidden aught. Thus did those who were before them give the lie (to Allah's messengers) till they tasted of the fear of Us. Say: Have ye any knowledge that ye can adduce for Us? Lo! ye follow naught but an opinion, Lo! ye do but guess. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

The polytheists will say, [Had Allah wished we would not have ascribed any partner [to Him], nor our fathers, nor would we have forbidden anything.] Those who were before them had denied likewise until they tasted Our punishment. Say, [Do you have any [revealed] knowledge that you can produce before us? You follow nothing but conjectures, and you do nothing but surmise.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

The pagans will say, [Had God wanted, we would not have worshipped idols, nor would our fathers, nor would we have made anything unlawful.] Others before them had also spoken such lies until they experienced the severity of Our wrath. (Muhammad), ask them, [Do you possess any knowledge? If so, tell us about it. You follow only conjectures and preach falsehood.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

Those who are polytheists will say: If Allah had pleased we would not have associated (aught with Him) nor our fathers, nor would we have forbidden (to ourselves) anything; even so did those before them reject until they tasted Our punishment. Say: Have you any knowledge with you so you should bring it forth to us? You only follow a conjecture and you only tell lies. - Shakir, Habib

Those who associate partners with God will surely say, [Had God pleased, neither we nor our fathers would have served other gods besides Him; nor would we have made anything unlawful.] Likewise those who lived before them argued falsely until they came to taste Our punishment! Say, [Have you any knowledge? If so, produce it before us. You follow nothing but conjecture. You are merely guessing.] - Wahiduddin Khan

عنقریب یہ مشرکین کہیں گے کہ اگر خدا چاہتا تو نہ ہم مشرک ہوتے نہ ہمارے باپ دادا اور نہ ہم کسی چیز کو حرام قرار دیتے -اسی طرح ان سے پہلے والوں نے رسولوں کی تکذیب کی تھی یہاں تک کہ ہمارے عذاب کا مزہ چکھ لیا -ان سے کہہ دیجئے کہ تمہارے پاس کوئی دلیل ہے تو ہمیں بھی بتاؤ -تم تو صرف خیالات کا اتباع کرتے ہو اور اندازوں کی باتیں کرتے ہو - Jawadi, Zeeshan

یہ مشرک لوگ (تمہاری ان باتوں کے جواب میں) ضرور کہیں گے کہ ——اگر اللہ چاہتا تو نہ ہم شرک کرتے اور نہ ہمارے باپ دادا، اور نہ ہم کسی چیز کو حرام ٹھراتے—— ایسی ہی باتیں بنا بنا کر اِن سے پہلے کے لوگوں نے بھی جھٹلایا تھا یہاں تک کہ آخر کار ہمارے عذاب کا مزا انہوں نے چکھ لیا ان سے کہو ——کیا تمہارے پاس کوئی علم ہے جسے ہمارے سامنے پیش کرسکو؟ تم تو محض گمان پر چل رہے ہو اور نری قیاس آرائیاں کرتے ہو—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اب کہیں گے مشرک کہ اللہ چاہتا تو نہ ہم شرک کرتے نہ ہمارے باپ دادا نہ ہم کچھ حرام ٹھہراتے ایسا ہی ان کے اگلوں نے جھٹلایا تھا یہاں تک کہ ہمارا عذاب چکھا تم فرماؤ کیا تمہارے پاس کوئی علم ہے کہ اسے ہمارے لیے نکالو، تم تو نرے گمان (خام خیال) کے پیچھے ہو اور تم یونہی تخمینے کرتے ہو - Ahmed Raza

the ones who

can testify

حَرَّمَ
has forbidden
هَٰذَا
this.]
ۖ
فَإِن
Then if
شَهِدُوا۟
they testify
فَلَا
then do not
تَشْهَدْ
you testify
مَعَهُمْ
along with them,
ۚ
وَلَا
and not
تَتَّبِعْ
you are to follow
أَهْوَآءَ
whims of
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
كَذَّبُوا۟
lie
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
about Our signs
وَٱلَّذِينَ
and those who
لَا
not
يُؤْمِنُونَ
are convinced
بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ
about the forthcoming,
وَهُم
while they,
بِرَبِّهِمْ
with their Rabb,
يَعْدِلُونَ
equate others.

١٥٠
قُلْ هَلُمَّ شُهَدَآءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَشْهَدُونَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ حَرَّمَ هَٰذَا ۖ فَإِن شَهِدُوا۟ فَلَا تَشْهَدْ مَعَهُمْ ۚ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَآءَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ وَهُم بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ Say, [Bring on your witnesses, the ones who can testify that the One has forbidden this.] Then if they testify then do not you testify along with them, and not you are to follow whims of the ones who lie about Our signs and those who not are convinced about the forthcoming, while they, with their Rabb, equate others.

Say: Come, bring your witnesses who can bear witness that Allah forbade (all) this. And if they bear witness, do not thou bear witness with them. Follow thou not the whims of those who deny Our revelations, those who believe not in the Hereafter and deem (others) equal with their Lord. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Say, [Bring your witnesses who may testify that Allah has forbidden this.] So if they testify, do not testify with them, and do not follow the desires of those who deny Our signs, and those who do not believe in the Hereafter and equate [others] with their Lord. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Ask them to call their witness who will testify that God has made certain things unlawful. Even if they do testify, do not testify with them. Do not follow the desires of those who have rejected Our revelations and the pagans who do not believe in the Day of Judgment. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Say: Bring your witnesses who should bear witness that Allah has forbidden this, then if they bear witness, do not bear witness with them; and follow not the low desires of those who reject Our communications and of those who do not believe in the hereafter, and they make (others) equal to their Lord. - Shakir, Habib

ان سے کہو کہ ——لاؤ اپنے وہ گواہ جو اس بات کی شہادت دیں کہ اللہ ہی نے اِن چیزوں کو حرام کیا ہے—— پھر اگر وہ شہادت دے دیں تو تم ان کے ساتھ شہادت نہ دینا، اور ہرگز اُن لوگوں کی خواہشات کے پیچھے نہ چلنا جنہوں نے ہماری آیات کو جھٹلایا ہے، اور جو آخرت کے منکر ہیں، اور جو دوسروں کو اپنے رب کا ہمسر بناتے ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

تم فرماؤ لاؤ اپنے وہ گواہ جو گواہی دیں کہ اللہ نے اسے حرام کیا پھر اگر وہ گواہی دے بیٹھیں تو تُو اے سننے والے! ان کے ساتھ گواہی نہ دینا اور ان کی خواہشوں کے پیچھے نہ چلنا جو ہماری آیتیں جھٹلاتے ہیں اور جو آخرت پر ایمان نہیں لاتے اور اپنے رب کا برابر والا ٹھہراتے ہیں - Ahmed Raza

Say: Come, I will recite unto you that which your Lord hath made a sacred duty for you: That ye ascribe no thing as partner unto Him and that ye do good to parents, and that ye slay not your children because of penury - We provide for you and for them - and that ye draw not nigh to lewd things whether open or concealed. And that ye slay not the life which Allah hath made sacred, save in the course of justice. This He hath command you, in order that ye may discern. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Say, [Come, I will recount what your Lord has forbidden you. That you shall not ascribe any partners to Him, and you shall be good to the parents, you shall not kill your children due to penury—We will provide for you and for them—you shall not approach indecencies, the outward among them and the inward ones, and you shall not kill a soul [whose life] Allah has made inviolable, except with due cause. This is what He has enjoined upon you so that you may exercise your reason. - Qarai, Ali Quli

(Muhammad), say, [Let me tell you about what your Lord has commanded: Do not consider anything equal to God; Be kind to your parents; Do not murder your children out of fear of poverty, for We give sustenance to you and to them. Do not even approach indecency either in public or in private. Take not a life which God has made sacred except by way of justice and law. Thus does He command you that you may learn wisdom. - Sarwar, Muhammad

کہہ دیجئے کہ آؤ ہم تمہیں بتائیں کہ تمہارے پروردگار نے کیا کیا حرام کیا ہے .... خبردار کسی کو اس کا شریک نہ بنانا اور ماں باپ کے ساتھ اچھا برتاؤ کرنا .اپنی اولاد کو غربت کی بنا پر قتل نہ کرنا کہ ہم تمہیں بھی رزق دے رہے ہیں اور انہیں بھی ... اور بدکاریوں کے قریب نہ جانا وہ ظاہری ہوں یا چھپی ہوئی اور کسی ایسے نفس کو جسے خدا نے حرام کردیا ہے قتل نہ کرنا مگر یہ کہ تمہارا کوئی حق ہو .یہ وہ باتیں ہیں جن کی خدا نے نصیحت کی ہے تاکہ تمہیں عقل آجائے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اے محمدؐ! ان سے کہو کہ آؤ میں تمہیں سناؤں تمہارے رب نے تم پر کیا پابندیاں عائد کی ہیں: یہ کہ اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ کرو، اور والدین کے ساتھ نیک سلوک کرو، اور اپنی اولاد کو مفلسی کے ڈر سے قتل نہ کرو، ہم تمہیں بھی رزق دیتے ہیں اور ا ن کو بھی دیں گے اور بے شرمی کی باتوں کے قریب بھی نہ جاؤ خواہ وہ کھلی ہوں یا چھپی اور کسی جان کو جسے اللہ نے محترم ٹھیرایا ہے ہلاک نہ کرو مگر حق کے ساتھ یہ باتیں ہیں جن کی ہدایت اس نے تمہیں کی ہے، شاید کہ تم سمجھ بوجھ سے کام لو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

تم فرماؤ آؤ میں تمہیں پڑھ کر سناؤں جو تم پر تمہارے رب نے حرام کیا یہ کہ اس کا کوئی شریک نہ کرو اور ماں باپ کے ساتھ بھلائی کرو اور اپنی اولاد قتل نہ کرو مفلسی کے باعث، ہم تمہیں اور انہیں سب کو رزق دیں گے اور بے حیائیوں کے پاس نہ جاؤ جو ان میں کھلی ہیں اور جو چھپی اور جس جان کی اللہ نے حرمت رکھی اسے ناحق نہ مارو یہ تمہیں حکم فرمایا ہے کہ تمہیں عقل ہو - Ahmed Raza

(اے رسول) ان سے کہو۔ آؤ میں تمہیں سناؤں وہ چیزیں جو تمہارے پروردگار نے تم پر حرام کی ہیں: () یہ کہ اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ ٹھہراؤ۔ () اور والدین کے ساتھ حسن سلوک کرو۔ () اور اپنی اولاد کو فقر و فاقہ کے ڈر سے قتل نہ کرو۔ ہم تمہیں بھی روزی دیتے ہیں اور انہیں بھی (دیں گے)۔ () اور بے شرمی و بے حیائی کے کاموں (جیسے جنسی غلط کاری) کے قریب بھی نہ جاؤ۔ خواہ وہ علانیہ ہوں اور خواہ پوشیدہ۔ () اور نہ قتل کرو کسی ایسی جان کو جس کے قتل کو خدا نے حرام قرار دیا ہے مگر (شرعی) حق (جیسے قصاص وغیرہ) کے ساتھ۔ یہ وہ ہے جس کی اللہ نے تمہیں وصیت کی ہے۔ تاکہ تم عقل سے کام لو۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

And approach not the wealth of the orphan save with that which is better, till he reach maturity. Give full measure and full weight, in justice. We task not any soul beyond its scope. And if ye give your word, do justice thereunto, even though it be (against) a kinsman; and fulfil the covenant of Allah. This He commandeth you that haply ye may remember. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Do not approach the orphan]s property, except in the best [possible] manner, until he comes of age. And observe fully the measure and the balance with justice.] We task no soul except according to its capacity. [And when you speak, be fair, even if it were a relative; and fulfill Allah]s covenant. This is what He enjoins upon you so that you may take admonition.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

Do not handle the property of the orphans except with a good reason until they become mature and strong. Maintain equality in your dealings by the means of measurement and balance. No soul is responsible for what is beyond it's ability. Be just in your words, even if the party involved is one of your relatives and keep your promise with God. Thus does your Lord guide you so that you may take heed. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And do not approach the property of the orphan except in the best manner until he attains his maturity, and give full measure and weight with justice-- We do not impose on any soul a duty except to the extent of its ability; and when you speak, then be just though it be (against) a relative, and fulfill Allah's covenant; this He has enjoined you with that you may be mindful; - Shakir, Habib

Give full measure and weight, according to justice, We never charge a soul with more than it can bear, when you speak, observe justice, even though it concerns a close relative; and fulfil the covenants of God. اور خبردار مال هیتیم کے قریب بھی نہ جانا مگر اس طریقہ سے جو بہترین طریقہ ہو یہاں تک کہ وہ توانائی کی عمر تک پہنچ جائیں اور ناپ تول میں انصاف سے پورا پورا دینا -ہم کسی نفس کو اس کی وسعت سے زیادہ تکلیف نہیں دیتے ہیں اور جب بات کرو تو انصاف کے ساتھ چاہے اپنی اقرباہی کے خلاف کیوں نہ ہو اور عہد خدا کو پورا کرو کہ اس کی پروردگار نے تمہیں وصیت کی ہے کہ شاید تم عبرت حاصل کرسکو - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور یہ کہ یتیم کے مال کے قریب نہ جاؤ مگر ایسے طریقہ سے جو بہترین ہو، یہاں تک کہ وہ اپنے سن رشد کو پہنچ جائے اور ناپ تول میں پورا انصاف کرو، ہم ہر شخص پر ذمہ داری کا اتنا ہی بار رکھتے ہیں جتنا اس کے امکان میں ہے، اور جب بات کہو انصاف کی کہو خواہ معاملہ اپنے رشتہ دار ہی کا کیوں نہ ہو، اور اللہ کے عہد کو پورا کرو ان باتوں کی ہدایت اللہ نے تمہیں کی ہے شاید کہ تم نصیحت قبول کرو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

وَأَنَّ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطِى مُسْتَقِيمًۭا فَٱتَّبِعُوهُ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ ٱلسُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And (He commandeth you, saying): This is My straight path, so follow it. Follow not other ways, lest ye be parted from His way. This hath He ordained for you, that ye may ward off (evil). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

[This indeed is my straight path, so follow it, and do not follow [other] ways, for they will separate you from His way. This is what He enjoins upon you so that you may be Godwary.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

This is My path and it is straight. Follow it and not other paths which will lead you far away from the path of God. Thus does God guide you so that you may become pious. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And (know) that this is My path, the right one therefore follow it, and follow not (other) ways, for they will lead you away from His way; this He has enjoined you with that you may guard (against evil). - Shakir, Habib

اور یہ ہمارا سیدھا راستہ ہے اس کا اتباع کرو اور دوسرے راستوں کے پیچھے نہ جاؤ کہ راہ هخدا سے الگ ہوجاؤ گے اسی کی پروردگار نے ہدایت دی ہے کہ اس طرح شاید متقی اور پرہیز گار بن جاؤ - Jawadi, Zeeshan

نیز اس کی ہدایت یہ ہے کہ یہی میرا سیدھا راستہ ہے لہٰذا تم اسی پر چلو اور دوسرے راستوں پر نہ چلو کہ وہ اس کے راستے سے ہٹا کر تمہیں پراگندہ کر دیں گے یہ ہے وہ ہدایت جو تمہارے رب نے تمہیں کی ہے، شاید کہ تم کج روی سے بچو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور یہ کہ یہ ہے میرا سیدھا راستہ تو اس پر چلو اور اور راہیں نہ چلو کہ تمہیں اس کی راہ سے جدا کردیں گی، یہ تمہیں حکم فرمایا کہ کہیں تمہیں پرہیزگاری ملے، - Ahmed Raza

Again, We gave the Scripture unto Moses, complete for him who would do good, an explanation of all things, a guidance and a mercy, that they might believe in the meeting with their Lord. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Then We gave Moses the Book, completing [Our blessing] on him who is virtuous, and as an elaboration of all things, and as a guidance and mercy, so that they may believe in the encounter with their Lord. - Qarai, Ali Quli

لَعَلَّكُمْ

تُرْحَمُونَ

And this is a blessed Scripture which We have revealed. So follow it and ward off (evil), that ye may find mercy. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And this Book that We have sent down is a blessed one; so follow it, and be Godwary so that you may receive [His] mercy. - Qarai, Ali Quli

أَن تَقُولُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَآ أُنزِلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبُ عَلَىٰ طَآئِفَتَيْنِ مِن قَبْلِنَا وَإِن كُنَّا عَن دِرَاسَتِهِمْ لَغَٰفِلِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Lest ye should say: The Scripture was revealed only to two sects before us, and we in sooth were unaware of what they read; - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Lest you should say, [The Book was sent down only to two communities before us, and we were indeed unaware of their studies,] - Qarai, Ali Quli

and will not say that the Book was revealed only to two groups of people before you, or that you were ignorant of its knowledge, - Sarwar, Muhammad

Lest you say that the Book was only revealed to two parties before us and We were truly unaware of what they read. - Shakir, Habib

and not say, [The Book was only sent down to the two groups before us and we were indeed unaware of their teachings,] - Wahiduddin Khan

یہ نہ کہنے لگو کہ کتاب خدا تو ہم سے پہلے دو جماعتوں پر نازل ہوئی تھی اور ہم اس کے پڑھنے پڑھانے سے بے خبر تھے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اب تم یہ نہیں کہہ سکتے کہ کتاب تو ہم سے پہلے کے دو گروہوں کو دی گئی تھی، اور ہم کو کچھ خبر نہ تھی کہ وہ کیا پڑھتے پڑھاتے تھے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

کبھی کہو کہ کتاب تو ہم سے پہلے دو گروہوں پر اُتری تھی اور ہمیں ان کے پڑھنے پڑھانے کی کچھ خبر نہ تھی - Ahmed Raza

(اور اس لیے بھی نازل کی ہے کہ) تم یہ (نہ) کہو کہ ہم سے پہلے دو گروہوں (یہود و نصاریٰ) پر تو کتاب (تورات و انجیل) نازل کی گئی۔ اور ہم تو (عرب ہونے کی وجہ سے) ان کے پڑھنے پڑھانے سے غافل و بے خبر تھے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

أَوْ تَقُولُوا۟ لَوْ أَنَّآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا ٱلْكِتَٰبُ لَكُنَّآ أَهْدَىٰ مِنْهُمْ ۚ فَقَدْ جَآءَكُم بَيِّنَةٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَهُدًۭى وَرَحْمَةٌۭ ۚ فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن كَذَّبَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَصَدَفَ عَنْهَا ۗ سَنَجْزِى ٱلَّذِينَ يَصْدِفُونَ عَنْ ءَايَٰتِنَا سُوٓءَ ٱلْعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَصْدِفُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Or lest ye should say: If the Scripture had been revealed unto us, we surely had been better guided than are they. Now hath there come unto you a clear proof from your Lord, a guidance and mercy; and who doeth greater wrong than he who denieth the revelations of Allah, and turneth away from them? We award unto those who turn away from Our revelations an evil doom because of their aversion. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

or [lest] you should say, [If the Book had been sent down to us, surely we would have been better-guided than them.] There has already come to you a manifest proof from your Lord and a guidance and mercy. So who is a greater wrongdoer than him who denies the signs of Allah, and turns away from them? Soon We shall requite those who turn away from Our signs with a terrible punishment because of what they used to evade. - Qarai, Ali Quli

or proclaim, [Had the Book been revealed to us, we would have followed its guidance better than the (Jews and Christians). Evidence, guidance, and mercy have already come to you from your Lord. Who are more unjust than those who reject God's revelations and turn away from them? We will give an evil recompense to those who turn away from Our revelations and a terrible torment for their disregard (of Our guidance) - Sarwar, Muhammad

Or lest you should say: If the Book had been revealed to us, we would certainly have been better guided than they, so indeed there has come to you clear proof from your Lord, and guidance and mercy. Who then is more unjust than he who rejects Allah's communications and turns away from them? We will reward those who turn away from Our communications with an evil chastisement because they turned away. - Shakir, Habib

or you may say, [If the Book had been sent down to us, we would surely have followed its guidance better than they did.] There has now come to you clear evidence from your Lord, and guidance and mercy. Who, then, is more unjust than one who rejects the signs of God and turns away from them? We shall requite those who turn away from Our signs with a painful punishment, for their turning away. - Wahiduddin Khan

یا یہ کہو کہ ہمارے اوپر بھی کتاب نازل ہوتی تو ہم ان سے زیادہ ہدایت یافتہ ہوتے تو اب تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے واضح دلیل اور ہدایت و رحمت آچکی ہے پھر اس کے بعد اس سے بڑا ظالم کون ہوگا جو اللہ کی نشانیوں کو جھٹلائے اور ان سے اعراض کرے ...عنقریب ہم اپنی نشانیوں سے اعراض کرنے والوں پر بدترین عذاب کریں گے اور وہ ہماری آیتوں سے اعراض کرنے والے اور روکنے والے ہیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور اب تم یہ بہانہ بھی نہیں کرسکتے کہ اگر ہم پر کتاب نازل کی گئی ہوتی تو ہم ان سے زیادہ راست رو ثابت ہوتے تمہارے پاس تمہارے رب کی طرف سے ایک دلیل روشن اور ہدایت اور رحمت آ گئی ہے، اب اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہوگا جو اللہ کی آیات کو جھٹلائے اور ان سے منہ موڑے جو لوگ ہماری آیات سے منہ موڑتے ہیں انہیں اس رو گردانی کی پاداش میں ہم بدترین سزا دے کر رہیں گے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

یا کہو کہ اگر ہم پر کتاب اُترتی تو ہم ان سے زیادہ ٹھیک راہ پر ہوتے تو تمہارے پاس تمہارے رب کی روشن دلیل اور ہدایت او ر رحمت آئی تو اس سے زیادہ ظالم کون جو اللہ کی آیتوں کو جھٹلائے اور ان سے منہ پھیرے عنقریب وہ جو ہماری آیتوں سے منہ پھیرتے ہیں ہم انہیں بڑے عذاب کی سزا دیں گے بدلہ ان کے منہ پھیرنے کا، - Ahmed Raza

یا یہ (نہ) کہو کہ اگر ہم پر کتاب نازل کی گئی ہوتی تو ہم ان لوگوں سے زیادہ راہِ راست پر ہوتے۔ تو اب (تمہارے تمام عذر بہانے قطع کرنے کے لیے) تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے کھلی ہوئی دلیل اور ہدایت و رحمت (قرآن کی صورت میں) آگئی ہے سو اب اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہوگا جو آیاتِ الٰہی کو جھٹلائے اور ان سے روگردانی کرے۔ ہم عنقریب ان لوگوں کو جو ہماری آیات سے روگردانی کرتے ہیں۔ بڑے عذاب کی سزا دیں گے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
