وَٱذْكُرُوا۟

وَمِيثَٰقَهُ

ٱلَّذِى

[untranslated]

وَاثَقَكُم

[untranslated]

بِهِۦٓ

إِذْ

قُلْتُمْ

سَمِعْنَا

[untranslated]

وَأَطَعْنَا

[untranslated]

وَٱتَّقُوا۟

ٱللَّهَ

إِنَّ

ٱللَّهَ

عَلِيمٌۢ

بِذَاتِ

[untranslated]

ٱلصُّدُورِ

وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَةَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَمِيثَٰقَهُ ٱلَّذِى وَاثَقَكُم بِهِۦٓ إِذْ قُلْتُمْ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ۖ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ

Remember Allah's grace upon you and His covenant by which He bound you when ye said: We hear and we obey; And keep your duty to Allah. Lo! He knoweth what is in the breasts (of men).

Remember Allah]s blessing upon you and His covenant with which He has bound you when you said, [We hear and obey.] And be wary of Allah. Indeed Allah knows best what is in the breasts.

Remember God's favors to you and the firm covenant that He has made with you. You said because of this covenant, [We have heard (the words of the Lord) and have obeyed Him.] Have fear of God; He knows well all that the hearts contain.

And remember the favor of Allah on you and His covenant with which He bound you firmly, when you said: We have heard and we obey, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, surely Allah knows what is in the breasts.

اللہ نے تم کو جو نعمت عطا کی ہے اس کا خیال رکھو اور اُس پختہ عہد و پیمان کو نہ بھولو جو اُس نے تم سے لیا ہے، یعنی تمہارا یہ قول کہ، ——ہم نے سنا اور اطاعت قبول کی—— اللہ سے ڈرو، اللہ دلوں کے راز تک جانتا ہے

اور یاد کرو اللہ کا احسان اپنے اوپر اور وہ عہد جو اس نے تم سے لیا جبکہ تم نے کہا ہم نے سنا اور مانا اور اللہ سے ڈرو بیشک اللہ دلوں کی بات جانتا ہے،

بِمَا

تَعْمَلُونَ

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ كُونُوا۟ قَوَّٰمِينَ لِلَّهِ شُهَدَآءَ بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۖ وَلَا يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَـَٔانُ قَوْمٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَلَّا تَعْدِلُوا۟ ۚ ٱعْدِلُوا۟ هُوَ أَقْرَبُ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ ۖ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ

⦿

O ye who believe! Be steadfast witnesses for Allah in equity, and let not hatred of any people seduce you that ye deal not justly. Deal justly, that is nearer to your duty. Observe your duty to Allah. Lo! Allah is Informed of what ye do.

O you who have faith! Be maintainers, as witnesses for the sake of Allah, of justice, and ill feeling for a people should never lead you to be unfair. Be fair; that is nearer to Godwariness, and be wary of Allah. Allah is indeed well aware of what you do.

Believers, be steadfast for the cause of God and just in bearing witness. Let not a group's hostility to you cause you to deviate from justice. Be just, for it is closer to piety. Have fear of God; God is Well Aware of what you do.

O you who believe! Be upright for Allah, bearers of witness with justice, and let not hatred of a people incite you not to act equitably; act equitably, that is nearer to piety, and he careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is Aware of what you do.

Believers, be steadfast in the cause of God and bear witness with justice. Do not let your enmity for others turn you away from justice. Deal justly; that is nearer to being God-fearing. Fear God. God is aware of all that you do.

ایمان والو خدا کے لئے قیام کرنے والے اور انصاف کے ساتھ گواہی دینے والے بنو اور خبردار کسی قوم کی عداوت تمہیں اس بات پر آمادہ نہ کردے کہ انصاف کو ترک کردو -انصاف کرو کہ یہی تقوٰی سے قریب تر ہے اور اللرُسے ڈرتے رہو کہ اللہ تمہارے اعمال سے خوب باخبر ہے

اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو! اللہ کی خاطر راستی پر قائم رہنے والے اور انصاف کی گواہی دینے والے بنو کسی گروہ کی دشمنی تم کو اتنا مشتعل نہ کر دے کہ انصاف سے پھر جاؤ عدل کرو، یہ خدا ترسی سے زیادہ مناسبت رکھتا ہے اللہ سے ڈر کر کام کرتے رہو، جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو اللہ اُس سے پوری طرح باخبر ہے

اے ایمان والوں اللہ کے حکم پر خوب قائم ہوجاؤ انصاف کے ساتھ گواہی دیتے اور تم کو کسی قوم کی عداوت اس پر نہ اُبھارے کہ انصاف نہ کرو، انصاف کرو، وہ پرہیزگاری سے زیادہ قریب ہے، اور اللہ سے ڈرو، بیشک اللہ کو تمہارے کامو ں کی خبر ہے،

اے ایمان والو! اللہ کے لیے پوری پابندی کرنے والے اور راستی پر قائم رہنے والے۔ اور عدل و انصاف کے ساتھ گواہی دینے والے بنو (خبردار) کسی قوم سے دشمنی تمہیں اس بات پر آمادہ نہ کرے کہ تم انصاف نہ کرو۔ اور عدل سے پھر جاؤ۔ عدل کرو۔ کہ وہ تقویٰ کے زیادہ قریب ہے۔ اللہ سے ڈرو بے شک تم جو کچھ کرتے ہو اللہ اس سے پوری طرح باخبر ہے۔

Allah hath promised those who believe and do good works: Theirs will be forgiveness and immense reward.

The Table [ 5:10 ] المائدة

وَٱلَّذِينَ

And the ones who

كَفَرُوا۟

denied

وَكَذَّبُوا۟

and lied

بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ

about Our signs,

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ

those are

أَصْحَٰبُ

the companions of

ٱلْجَحِيمِ

the stagnant life.

١٠

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْجَحِيمِ

And the ones who denied and lied about Our signs, those are the companions of the stagnant life.

⦿

And they who disbelieve and deny Our revelations, such are rightful owners of hell.

As for those who are faithless and deny Our signs, they shall be the inmates of hell.

However, the unbelievers who have called Our revelations lies will have hell for their dwelling.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ هَمَّ قَوْمٌ أَن يَبْسُطُوٓا۟ إِلَيْكُمْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فَكَفَّ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنكُمْ ۖ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ

O ye who believe! Remember Allah's favour unto you, how a people were minded to stretch out their hands against you but He withheld their hands from you; and keep your duty to Allah. In Allah let believers put their trust.

O you who have faith! Remember Allah]s blessing upon you when a people set out to extend their hands against you, but He withheld their hands from you, and be wary of Allah, and in Allah let all the faithful put their trust.

Believers, recall God's favors to you when a group of people were about to harm you and God made their evil plots against you fail. Have fear of God. Believers, only trust in God.

O you who believe! remember Allah's favor on you when a people had determined to stretch forth their hands towards you, but He withheld their hands from you, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; and on Allah let the believers rely.

Believers, remember the blessings which God bestowed upon you when a certain people were about to lay hands on you and He held back their hands from you. Have fear of God and in God let the believers place their trust.

ایمان والو! اپنے اوپر اللہ کی اس نعمت کو یاد کرو کہ جب ایک قوم نے تمہاری طرف ہاتھ بڑھانے کا ارادہ کیاتو خدا نے ان کے ہاتھوں کو تم تک پہنچنے سے روک دیا اور اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو کہ صاحبان هایمان اللہ ہی پر بھروسہ کرتے ہیں

اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو، اللہ کے اُس احسان کو یاد کرو جو اُس نے (ابھی حال میں) تم پر کیا ہے، جبکہ ایک گروہ نے تم پر دست درازی کا ارادہ کر لیا تھا مگر اللہ نے اُن کے ہاتھ تم پر اٹھنے سے روک دیے اللہ سے ڈر کر کام کرتے رہو، ایمان رکھنے والوں کو اللہ ہی پر بھروسہ کرنا چاہیے

⦿

اے ایمان والو! اللہ کا احسان اپنے اوپر یاد کرو جب ایک قوم نے چاہا کہ تم پر دست درازی کریں تو اس نے ان کے ہاتھ تم پر سے روک دیئے اور اللہ سے ڈرو اور مسلمانوں کو اللہ ہی پر بھروسہ چاہئے،

اے ایمان والو! اللہ کے اس احسان کو یاد کرو جو اس نے اس وقت تم پر کیا جب ایک گروہ نے ارادہ کیا تھا کہ وہ تمہاری طرف دست درازی کرے مگر اللہ نے (اپنی قدرت کاملہ سے) ان کو تم سے روک دیا۔ اللہ سے ڈرو۔ اور اہل ایمان کو اللہ پر ہی بھروسہ کرنا چاہیے۔

وَلَقَدْ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ مِيثَٰقَ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ وَبَعَثْنَا مِنْهُمُ ٱثْنَىْ عَشَرَ نَقِيبًۭا ۖ وَقَالَ ٱللَّهُ إِنِّى مَعَكُمْ ۖ لَئِنْ أَقَمْتُمُ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتَيْتُمُ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَءَامَنتُم بِرُسُلِى وَعَزَّرْتُمُوهُمْ وَأَقْرَضْتُمُ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًۭا لَّأُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنكُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمْ وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّكُمْ جَنَّٰتٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۚ فَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ مِنكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَآءَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ

⦿

Allah made a covenant of old with the Children of Israel and We raised among them twelve chieftains, and Allah said: Lo! I am with you. If ye establish worship and pay the poor-due, and believe in My messengers and support them, and lend unto Allah a kindly loan, surely I shall remit your sins, and surely I shall bring you into Gardens underneath which rivers flow. Whoso among you disbelieveth after this will go astray from a plain road.

Certainly Allah took a pledge from the Children of Israel, and We raised among them twelve chiefs. And Allah said, [I am with you! Surely, if you maintain the prayer and give the zakat and have faith in My apostles and support them and lend Allah a good loan, I will surely absolve you of your misdeeds, and I will surely admit you into gardens with streams running in them. But whoever of you disbelieves after that has certainly strayed from the right way.]

⦿

God certainly made a solemn covenant with the children of Israel and raised among them twelve elders. God said to them, [I am with you if you will be steadfast in your prayers, pay (zakat) religious tax, believe in My Messengers, support them with reverence, and give a generous loan for the cause of God.] We shall expiate your bad deeds and admit you to the gardens wherein streams flow. Whichever of you turns to disbelief after this has certainly gone astray (from the right path).]

And certainly Allah made a covenant with the children of Israel, and We raised up among them twelve chieftains; and Allah said: Surely I am with you; if you keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and believe in My apostles and assist them and offer to Allah a goodly gift, I will most certainly cover your evil deeds, and I will most certainly cause you to enter into gardens beneath which rivers flow, but whoever disbelieves from among you after that, he indeed shall lose the right way.

If you attend to your prayers and pay the alms and believe in My messengers and support them, and give a generous loan to God, I will certainly forgive you your sins and admit you into Gardens through which rivers flow. Whoever among you denies the truth after this shall go astray from the straight path.]

اور بے شک اللہ نے بنی اسرائیل سے عہد لیا اور ہم نے ان میں سے بارہ نقیب بھیجے اور خدا نے یہ بھی کہہ دیاکہ ہم تمہارے ساتھ ہیں اگر تم نے نماز قائم کی اور زکوِٰ ادا کی اور ہمارے رسولوں پر ایمان لے آئے اور ان کی مدد کی اور خدا کی راہ میں قرض حسنہ دیاتو ہم یقینا تمہاری برائیوں سے درگزر کریں گے اور تمہیں ان باغات میں داخل کریں گے جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں گی -پھر جو اس کے بعد کفر کرے گا تو وہ بہت اِرے راستہ کی طرف بہک گیا ہے

اللہ نے بنی اسرائیل سے پختہ عہد لیا تھا اور ان میں بارہ نقیب مقرر کیے تھے اور ان سے کہا تھا کہ ——میں تمہارے ساتھ ہوں، اگر تم نے نماز قائم رکھی اور زکوٰۃ دی اور میرے رسولوں کو مانا اور ان کی مدد کی اور اپنے خدا کو اچھا قرض دیتے رہے تو یقین رکھو کہ میں تمہاری برائیاں تم سے زائل کر دوں گا اور تم کو ایسے باغوں میں داخل کروں گا جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہوں گی، مگراس کے بعد جس نے تم میں سے کفر کی روش اختیار کی تو در حقیقت اُس نے سوا٫ السبیل گم کر دی——

اور بیشک اللہ نے بنی اسرائیل سے عہد کیا اور ہم نے ان میں بارہ سردار قائم کیے اور اللہ نے فرمایا بیشک میں تمہارے ساتھ ہوں ضرور اگر تم نماز قائم رکھو اور زکوٰة دو اور میرے سوالوں پر ایمان لاؤ اور ان کی تعظیم کرو اور اللہ کو قرض حسن دو بیشک میں تمہارے گناہ اتار دوں گا اور ضرور تمہیں باغوں میں لے جاؤں گا جن کے نیچے نہریں رواں، پھر اس کے بعد جو تم میں سے کفر کرے وہ ضرور سیدھی راہ سے بہکا

اور بلاشبہ اللہ نے بنی اسرائیل سے عہدوپیمان لیا تھا اور ہم نے بھی بارہ نقیب (سردار) مقرر کئے تھے۔ اور اللہ نے (ان سے) کہا تھا کہ بے شک میں تمہارے ساتھ ہوں۔ تو اگر تم نماز قائم رکھوگے، اور زکوٰۃ دیتے رہوگے اور میرے رسولوں پر ایمان لاتے رہوگے، اور ان کی مدد کرتے رہوگے اور اللہ کو قرضہ حسنہ دیتے رہوگے تو میں ضرور تمہارے گناہ تم سے دور کر دوں گا۔ (معاف کر دوں گا) اور تمہیں ان بہشتوں میں داخل کروں گا۔ جن کے نیچے سے نہریں جاری ہوں گی مگر تم میں سے جس نے اس کے بعد کفر اختیار کیا وہ ضرور سیدھے راستے سے بھٹک گیا۔

فَبِمَا نَقْضِهِم مِّيثَٰقَهُمْ لَعَنَّٰهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَا قُلُوبَهُمْ قَٰسِيَةًۭ ۖ يُحَرِّفُونَ ٱلْكَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِۦ ۙ وَنَسُوا۟ حَظًّۭا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِهِۦ ۚ وَلَا تَزَالُ تَطَّلِعُ عَلَىٰ خَآئِنَةٍۢ مِّنْهُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًۭا مِّنْهُمْ ۖ فَٱعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَٱصْفَحْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

And because of their breaking their covenant, We have cursed them and made hard their hearts. They change words from their context and forget a part of that whereof they were admonished. Thou wilt not cease to discover treachery from all save a few of them. But bear with them and pardon them. Lo! Allah loveth the kindly.

Then, because of their breaking their covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hard: they pervert words from their meanings, and have forgotten a part of what they were reminded. You will not cease to learn of some of their treachery, excepting a few of them. Yet excuse them and forbear. Indeed Allah loves the virtuous.

For their disregard of their solemn covenant with God, We condemned the Israelites and made their hearts hard as stone. Now they displace the words of God and have forgotten their share of the guidance that they had received. Still you receive news of the treachery of all but a few of them. Forgive and ignore them. God loves the righteous ones.

But on account of their breaking their covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hard; they altered the words from their places and they neglected a portion of what they were reminded of; and you shall always discover treachery in them excepting a few of them; so pardon them and turn away; surely Allah loves those who do good (to others).

Since they broke their solemn pledge, We laid on them Our curse and hardened their hearts. They distorted the meaning of the revealed words, taking them out of their context, and forgot much of what they were enjoined. You will constantly discover treachery on their part, except for a few of them. But pardon them, and bear with them; truly, God loves the doers of good.

پھر ان کی عہد شکنی کی بنا پر ہم نے ان پر لعنت کی اور ان کے دلوں کو سخت بنا دیا وہ ہمارے کلمات کو ان کی جگہ سے ہٹا دیتے ہیں اور انہوں نے ہماری یاددہانی کا اکثر حصّہ فراموش کردیا ہے اور تم ان کی خیانتوں پر برابر مطلع ہوتے رہوگے علاوہ چند افراد کے لہذا ان سے درگزر کرو اور ان کی طرف سے کنارہ کشی کرو کہ اللہ احسان کرنے والوں کو دوست رکھتا ہے

پھر یہ اُن کا اپنے عہد کو توڑ ڈالنا تھا جس کی وجہ سے ہم نے ان کو اپنی رحمت سے دور پھینک دیا اور ان کے دل سخت کر دیے اب ان کا حال یہ ہے کہ الفاظ کا الٹ پھیر کر کے بات کو کہیں سے کہیں لے جاتے ہیں، جو تعلیم انہیں دی گئی تھی اُس کا بڑا حصہ بھول چکے ہیں، اور آئے دن تمہیں ان کی کسی نہ کسی خیانت کا پتہ چلتا رہتا ہے ان میں سے بہت کم لوگ اس عیب سے بچے ہوئے ہیں (پس جب یہ اِس حال کو پہنچ چکے ہیں تو جو شرارتیں بھی یہ کریں وہ ان سے عین متوقع ہیں) لہٰذا انہیں معاف کرو اور ان کی حرکات سے چشم پوشی کرتے رہو، اللہ اُن لوگوں کو پسند کرتا ہے جو احسان کی روش رکھتے ہیں

تو ان کی کیسی بد عہدیوں پر ہم نے انہیں لعنت کی اور ان کے دل سخت کردیئے اللہ کی باتوں کو ان کے ٹھکانوں سے بدلتے ہیں اور بُھلا بیٹھے بڑا حصہ ان نصیحتوں کا جو انہیں دی گئیں اور تم ہمیشہ ان کی ایک نہ ایک دغا پر مطلع ہوتے رہو گے سوا تھوڑوں کے تو انہیں معاف کردو اور ان سے درگزرو بیشک احسان والے ا لله کو محبوب ہیں،

ان کی عہد شکنی کی وجہ سے ہم نے ان پر لعنت کی (اپنی رحمت سے دور کر دیا) اور ان کے دلوں کو سخت کر دیا کہ وہ اب کلامِ (الٰہی) کو اس کی اصلی جگہ سے ہٹا دیتے ہیں (تحریف کرتے ہیں) اور جس چیز کی ان کو نصیحت کی گئی تھی اس کا بڑا حصہ بھلا بیٹھے ہیں (اے پیغمبر(ص)) ان کے معدودے چند آدمیوں کے سوا برابر ان کی کسی نہ کسی خیانت پر مطلع ہوتے رہیں گے لہٰذا انہیں معاف کر دیجیے اور ان سے درگزر کیجیے بے شک اللہ معاف کرنے والوں کو دوست رکھتا ہے۔

وَمِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا نَصَٰرَىٰٓ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَٰقَهُمْ فَنَسُوا۟ حَظًّۭا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِهِۦ فَأَغْرَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ ٱلْعَدَاوَةَ وَٱلْبَغْضَآءَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ۚ وَسَوْفَ يُنَبِّئُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَصْنَعُونَ

And with those who say: [Lo! we are Christians,] We made a covenant, but they forgot a part of that whereof they were admonished. Therefor We have stirred up enmity and hatred among them till the Day of Resurrection, when Allah will inform them of their handiwork.

Also from those who say, [We are Christians,] We took their pledge; but they forgot a part of what they were reminded. So We stirred up enmity and hatred among them until the Day of Resurrection, and soon Allah will inform them concerning what they had been doing.

We had made a solemn covenant with those who call themselves Christians, but they forgot their share of the guidance that was sent to them. We have induced hatred and animosity among them which will remain with them until the Day of Judgment when God will tell them about what they had done.

And with those who say, We are Christians, We made a covenant, but they neglected a portion of what they were reminded of, therefore We excited among them enmity and hatred to the day of resurrection; and Allah will inform them of what they did.

We also made a covenant with those who say, [We are Christians.] But they too have forgotten much of what they were enjoined. So, We have put enmity and hatred between them till the Day of Judgement; and soon God will declare to them what they have been doing.

اور جن لوگوں کا کہنا ہے کہ ہم نصرانی ہیں ہم نے ان سے بھی عہد لیا اور انہوں نے بھی ہماری نصیحت (انجیل)کے ایک حصّہ کو فراموش کردیا تو ہم نے بطور سزا ان کے درمیان عداوت اور بغض کو قیامت تک کے لئے راستہ دے دیا اور عنقریب خدا انہیں ان باتوں سے باخبر کرے گا جو وہ انجام دے رہے تھے

اِسی طرح ہم نے اُن لوگوں سے بھی پختہ عہد لیا تھا جنہوں نے کہا تھا کہ ہم ——نصاریٰ—— ہیں، مگر ان کو بھی جو سبق یاد کرایا گیا تھا اس کا ایک بڑا حصہ اُنہوں نے فراموش کر دیا آخر کار ہم نے ان کے درمیان قیامت تک کے لیے دشمنی اور آپس کے بغض و عناد کا بیج بو دیا، اور ضرور ایک وقت آئے گا جب اللہ انہیں بتائے گا کہ وہ دنیا میں کیا بناتے رہے ہیں

اور وہ جنہوں نے دعویٰ کیا کہ ہم نصاریٰ ہیں ہم نے ان سے عہد لیا تو وہ بھلا بیٹھے بڑا حصہ ان نصیحتوں کا جو انہیں دی گئیں تو ہم نے ان کے آپس میں قیامت کے دن تک بَیر اور بغض ڈال دیا اور عنقریب اللہ انہیں بتادے گا جو کچھ کرتے تھے

اور جو لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نصرانی ہیں ان سے بھی پختہ عہد لیا تھا۔ سو جو کچھ بھی انہیں نصیحت کی گئی تھی، جب وہ اس کا بڑا حصہ بھلا بیٹھے۔ تو ہم نے (بطورِ سزا) قیامت تک ان کے درمیان بغض و عناد ڈال دیا۔ اور عنقریب اللہ ان کو بتائے گا کہ وہ (دنیا میں کیا کرتے تھے)۔

يَٰٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ قَدْ جَآءَكُمْ رَسُولُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمْ كَثِيرًۭا مِّمَّا كُنتُمْ تُخْفُونَ مِنَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَيَعْفُوا۟ عَن كَثِيرٍۢ ۚ قَدْ جَآءَكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ نُورٌۭ وَكِتَٰبٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ

O People of the Scripture! Now hath Our messenger come unto you, expounding unto you much of that which ye used to hide in the Scripture, and forgiving much. now hath come unto you light from Allah and plain Scripture,

O People of the Book! Certainly Our Apostle has come to you, clarifying for you much of what you used to hide of the Book, and excusing many [an offense of yours]. Certainly, there has come to you a light from Allah, and a manifest Book.

People of the Book, Our Messenger has come to you. He tells you about the many things that you had been hiding of the Book and forgives you much. A light and a clarifying Book has come to you from God

O followers of the Book! indeed Our Apostle has come to you making clear to you much of what you concealed of the Book and passing over much; indeed, there has come to you light and a clear Book from Allah;

اے اہل کتاب تمہارے پاس ہمارا رسول آچکا ہے جو اُن میں سے بہت سی باتوں کی وضاحت کررہا ہے جن کو تم کتاب هخدا میں سے چھاَپا رہے تھے اور بہت سی باتوں سے درگزر بھی کرتا ہے تمہارے پاس خدا کی طرف سے نور اور روشن کتاب آچکی ہے

اے اہل کتاب! ہمارا رسول تمہارے پاس آ گیا ہے جو کتاب الٰہی کی بہت سی اُن باتوں کو تمہارے سامنے کھول رہا ہے جن پر تم پردہ ڈالا کرتے تھے، اور بہت سی باتوں سے درگزر بھی کر جاتا ہے تمہارے پاس اللہ کی طرف سے روشنی آ گئی ہے اور ایک ایسی حق نما کتاب

اے کتاب والو بیشک تمہارے پاس ہمارے یہ رسول تشریف لائے کہ تم پر ظاہر فرماتے ہیں بہت سی وہ چیزیں جو تم نے کتاب میں چھپا ڈالی تھیں اور بہت سی معاف فرماتے ہیں بیشک تمہارے پاس اللہ کی طرف سے ایک نور آیا اور روشن کتاب

اے اہل کتاب! تمہارے پاس ہمارا وہ پیغمبر آگیا ہے جو بہت سی ان باتوں کو کھول کر بیان کر رہا ہے۔ جنہیں تم اس کتاب میں سے چھپاتے رہے ہو اور بہت سی باتوں کو نظر انداز بھی کر دیتا ہے۔ بے شک تمہارے پاس اللہ کی طرف سے نور (روشنی) اور واضح کتاب آگئی ہے۔

يَهْدِى بِهِ ٱللَّهُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ رِضْوَٰنَهُۥ سُبُلَ ٱلسَّلَٰمِ وَيُخْرِجُهُم مِّنَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ بِإِذْنِهِۦ وَيَهْدِيهِمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ

Whereby Allah guideth him who seeketh His good pleasure unto paths of peace. He bringeth them out of darkness unto light by His decree, and guideth them unto a straight path.

With it Allah guides those who follow [the course of] His pleasure to the ways of peace, and brings them out from darkness into light by His will, and guides them to a straight path.

to show the way of peace to those who seek His pleasure, to bring them out of darkness into light through His will and to guide them to the right path.

With it Allah guides him who will follow His pleasure into the ways of safety and brings them out of utter darkness into light by His will and guides them to the right path.

جس کے ذریعہ سے اللہ تعالیٰ اُن لوگوں کو جو اس کی رضا کے طالب ہیں سلامتی کے طریقے بتاتا ہے اور اپنے اذن سے اُن کو اندھیروں سے نکال کر اجالے کی طرف لاتا ہے اور راہ راست کی طرف ان کی رہنمائی کرتا ہے

اللہ اس سے ہدایت دیتا ہے اسے جو اللہ کی مرضی پر چلا سلامتی کے ساتھ اور انہیں اندھیریوں سے روشنی کی طرف لے جاتا ہے اپنے حکم سے اور انہیں سیدھی راہ دکھاتا ہے،

جس کے ذریعہ سے خدا ان لوگوں کو سلامتی کے راستوں پر چلاتا ہے جو اس کی رضا کی اتباع و پیروی کرتے ہیں اور ان کو تاریکیوں (گمراہی) سے اپنے اذن و توفیق سے نور (ہدایت) کی طرف لاتا ہے اور انہیں سیدھے راستہ پر لگاتا ہے۔

لَّقَدْ كَفَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْمَسِيحُ ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ ۚ قُلْ فَمَن يَمْلِكُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيْـًٔا إِنْ أَرَادَ أَن يُهْلِكَ ٱلْمَسِيحَ ٱبْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَأُمَّهُۥ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًۭا ۗ وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ۚ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ

They indeed have disbelieved who say: Lo! Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary. Say: Who then can do aught against Allah, if He had willed to destroy the Messiah son of Mary, and his mother and everyone on earth? Allah's is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. He createth what He will. And Allah is Able to do all things.

They are certainly faithless who say, [Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary.] Say, [Who can avail anything against Allah should He wish to destroy the Messiah, son of Mary, and his mother, and everyone upon the earth?] To Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and whatever is between them. He creates whatever He wishes, and Allah has power over all things.

This website is a work of passion. It exists only for a couple of reasons:

1) I wanted to understand the Book without involving any second-party sources of guidance i.e. exegesis, or Asbab-e-Nuzul, or extra-Quranic ahadith, etc.
2) You must also know what the bare truth is, so we can work together.

Because the process must be transparent, the entire website is available for you to download. You can go through the code, and if you can make any improvements to this process, you are most welcome to. It is a humble request to update me regarding the improvements so I can also update myself.
