وَقَفَّيْنَا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِم بِعِيسَى ٱبْنِ مَرْيَمَ مُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ ۖ وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ ٱلْإِنجِيلَ فِيهِ هُدًۭى وَنُورٌۭ وَمُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ وَهُدًۭى وَمَوْعِظَةًۭ لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And We caused Jesus, son of Mary, to follow in their footsteps, confirming that which was (revealed) before him in the Torah, and We bestowed on him the Gospel wherein is guidance and a light, confirming that which was (revealed) before it in the Torah - a guidance and an admonition unto those who ward off (evil). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

پھر ہم نے ان پیغمبروں کے بعد مریمؑ کے بیٹے عیسیٰؑ کو بھیجا توراۃ میں سے جو کچھ اس کے سامنے موجود تھا وہ اس کی تصدیق کرنے والا تھا اور ہم نے اس کو انجیل عطا کی جس میں رہنمائی اور روشنی تھی اور وہ بھی توراۃ میں سے جو کچھ اُس وقت موجود تھا اُس کی تصدیق کرنے والی تھی اور خدا ترس لوگوں کے لیے سراسر ہدایت اور نصیحت تھی - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور ہم ان نبیوں کے پیچھے ان کے نشانِ قدم پر عیسیٰ بن مریم کو لائے تصدیق کرتا ہوا توریت کی جو اس سے پہلے تھی اور ہم نے اسے انجیل عطا کی جس میں ہدایت اور نور ہے اور تصدیق فرماتی ہے توریت کی کہ اس سے پہلی تھی اور ہدایت اور نصیحت پرہیزگاروں کو، - Ahmed Raza

And command
أَهْلُ

وَمَن
and whoever
لَّمْ
did not
يَحْكُم
command
بِمَآ
through that which
أَنزَلَ
alighted
ٱللَّهُ
the One,
فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
thus they
هُمُ
are
ٱلْفَٰسِقُونَ
the liberals.
٥
٤٧
وَلْيَحْكُمْ أَهْلُ ٱلْإِنجِيلِ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فِيهِ ۚ وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَٰسِقُونَ And command the holders of the Updated Knowledge with that decended the One therein; and whoever did not command through that which alighted the One, thus they are the liberals.

Let the People of the Gospel judge by that which Allah hath revealed therein. Whoso judgeth not by that which Allah hath revealed: such are evil-livers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

وَأَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَمُهَيْمِنًا عَلَيْهِ ۖ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَآءَهُمْ عَمَّا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ ۚ لِكُلٍّۢ جَعَلْنَا مِنكُمْ شِرْعَةًۭ وَمِنْهَاجًۭا ۚ وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ وَلَٰكِن لِّيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِى مَآ ءَاتَىٰكُمْ ۖ فَٱسْتَبِقُوا۟ ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ ۚ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًۭا فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And unto thee have We revealed the Scripture with the truth, confirming whatever Scripture was before it, and a watcher over it. So judge between them by that which Allah hath revealed, and follow not their desires away from the truth which hath come unto thee. For each We have appointed a divine law and a traced-out way. Had Allah willed He could have made you one community. But that He may try you by that which He hath given you (He hath made you as ye are). So vie one with another in good works. Unto Allah ye will all return, and He will then inform you of that wherein ye differ. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

We have sent down to you the Book with the truth, confirming what was before it of the Book and as a guardian over it. So judge between them by what Allah has sent down, and do not follow their desires against the truth that has come to you. For each [community] among you We had appointed a code [of law] and a path, and had Allah wished He would have made you one community, but [His purposes required] that He should test you in respect to what He has given you. So take the lead in all good works. To Allah shall be the return of you all, whereat He will inform you concerning that about which you used to differ. - Qarai, Ali Quli

We have revealed the Book to you (Muhammad) in all Truth. It confirms the (original) Bible and has the authority to preserve or abrogate what the Bible contains. Judge among them by what God has revealed to you and do not follow their desires instead of the Truth which has come to you. We have given a law and a way of life to each of you. Had God wanted, He could have made you into one nation, but He wanted to see who are the more pious ones among you. Compete with each other in righteousness. All of you will return to God who will tell you the truth in the matter of your differences. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And We have revealed to you the Book with the truth, verifying what is before it of the Book and a guardian over it, therefore judge between them by what Allah has revealed, and do not follow their low desires (to turn away) from the truth that has come to you; for every one of you did We appoint a law and a way, and if Allah had pleased He would have made you (all) a single people, but that He might try you in what He gave you, therefore strive with one another to hasten to virtuous deeds; to Allah is your return, of all (of you), so He will let you know that in which you differed; - Shakir, Habib

We have sent down the Book to you with the truth, fulfilling [the predictions] revealed in the previous scriptures and determining what is true therein, and as a guardian over it. Judge, therefore, between them by what God has revealed, and do not follow their vain desires turning away from the truth that has come to you. To every one of you We have ordained a law and a way, and had God so willed, He would have made you all a single community, but He did not so will, in order that He might try you by what He has given you. Vie, then, with one another in doing good works; to God you shall all return; then He will make clear to you about what you have been disputing. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور اے پیغمبر ہم نے آپ کی طرف کتاب نازل کی ہے جو اپنے پہلے کی توریت اور انجیل کی لَصدق اور محافظ ہے لہذا آپ ان کے درمیان تنزیل خدا کے مطابق فیصلہ کریں اور خدا کی طرف سے آئے ہوئے حق سے الگ ہوکر ان کی خواہشات کا اتباع نہ کریں .ہم نے سب کے لئے الگ الگ شریعت اور راستہ مقرر کردیا ہے اور خدا چاہتا تو سب کو ایک ہی امت بنا دیتا لیکن وہ اپنے دئیے ہوئے قانون سے تمہاری آزمائش کرنا چاہتا ہے لہذا تم سب نیکیوں کی طرف سبقت کرو کہ تم سب کی بازگشت اللہ ہی کی طرف ہے -وہاں وہ تمہیں ان تمام باتوں سے باخبر کرے گا جن میں تم اختلاف کررہے تھے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

پھر اے محمدؐ! ہم نے تمہاری طرف یہ کتاب بھیجی جو حق لے کر آئی ہے اور الکتاب میں سے جو کچھ اس کے آگے موجود ہے اُس کی تصدیق کرنے والی اور اس کی محافظ و نگہبان ہے لہٰذا تم خدا کے نازل کردہ قانون کے مطابق لوگوں کے معاملات کا فیصلہ کرو اور جو حق تمہارے پاس آیا ہے اُس سے منہ موڑ کر ان کی خواہشات کی پیروی نہ کرو ہم نے تم میں سے ہر ایک کے لیے ایک شریعت اور ایک راہ عمل مقرر کی اگرچہ تمہارا خدا چاہتا تو تم سب کو ایک امت بھی بنا سکتا تھا، لیکن اُس نے یہ اِس لیے کیا کہ جو کچھ اُس نے تم لوگوں کو دیا ہے اس میں تمہاری آزمائش کرے لہٰذا بھلائیوں میں ایک دوسرے سے سبقت لے جانے کی کوشش کرو آخر کار تم سب کو خدا کی طرف پلٹ کر جانا ہے، پھر وہ تمہیں اصل حقیقت بتا دے گا جس میں تم اختلاف کرتے رہے ہو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور اے محبوب ہم نے تمہاری طرف سچی کتاب اتاری اگلی کتابوں کی تصدیق فرماتی اور ان پر محافظ و گواہ تو ان میں فیصلہ کرو اللہ کے اتارے سے اور اسے سننے والے ان کی خواہشوں کی پیروی نہ کرنا اپنے پاس آیا ہوا حق چھوڑ کر، ہم نے تم سب کے لیے ایک ایک شریعت اور راستہ رکھا اور اللہ چاہتا تو تم سب کو ایک ہی امت کردیتا مگر منظور یہ ہے کہ جو کچھ تمہیں دیا اس میں تمہیں آزمائے تو بھلائیوں کی طرف سبقت چاہو، تم سب کا پھرنا اللہ ہی کی طرف ہے تو وہ تمہیں بتادے گا جس بات میں تم جھگڑتے تھے - Ahmed Raza

اور (اے رسول(ص)) ہم نے آپ کی طرف حق کے ساتھ کتاب نازل کی ہے۔ جو تصدیق کرتی ہے۔ ان (آسمانی) کتابوں کی جو اس سے پہلے موجود ہیں اور ان کی محافظ و نگہبان ہے۔ لہٰذا آپ ان کے درمیان وہی فیصلہ کریں جو اللہ نے نازل کیا ہے اور اس حق سے منہ موڑ کر جو آپ کے پاس آگیا ہے۔ ان کی خواہشات کی پیروی نہ کریں، ہم نے تم میں سے ہر ایک کے لئے ایک شریعت اور ایک راہ مقرر کی ہے اور اگر خدا (زبردستی) چاہتا، تو تم سب کو ایک ہی (شریعت) کی ایک ہی امت بنا دیتا۔ مگر وہ چاہتا ہے کہ تمہیں آزمائے (ان احکام میں) جو (مختلف اوقات میں) تمہیں دیتا رہا ہے بس تم نیکیوں میں ایک دوسرے سے بڑھنے کی کوشش کرو۔ تم سب کی بازگشت اللہ ہی کی طرف ہے، پھر وہ تمہیں آگاہ کرے گا۔ ان باتوں سے جن میں تم اختلاف کرتے ہو۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

So judge between them by that which Allah hath revealed, and follow not their desires, but beware of them lest they seduce thee from some part of that which Allah hath revealed unto thee. And if they turn away, then know that Allah's Will is to smite them for some sin of theirs. Lo! many of mankind are evil-livers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Judge between them by what Allah has sent down, and do not follow their desires. Beware of them lest they should beguile you from part of what Allah has sent down to you. But if they turn their backs [on you], then know that Allah desires to punish them for some of their sins, and indeed many of the people are transgressors. - Qarai, Ali Quli

(Muhammad), you must judge among them by what God has revealed. Do not follow their desires. Beware of their mischievous deception concerning some of the matters that God has revealed to you. If they turn away, know that what God wants is to punish them for some of their sins. Many human beings are evil-doers. - Sarwar, Muhammad

اور پیغمبر آپ ان کے درمیان تنزیلِ خدا کے مطابق فیصلہ کریں اور ان کی خواہشات کا اتباع نہ کریں اور اس بات سے بچتے رہیں کہ یہ بعض احکام الٰہی سے منحرف کردیں -پھر اگر یہ خود منحرف ہوجائیں تو یاد رکھیں کہ خدا ان کو ان کے بعض گناہوں کی مصیبت میں مبتلا کرنا چاہتا ہے اور انسانوں کی اکثریت فاسق اور دائرسِ اطاعت سے خارج ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

پس اے محمدؐ! تم اللہ کے نازل کردہ قانون کے مطابق اِن لوگوں کے معاملات کا فیصلہ کرو اور ان کی خواہشات کی پیروی نہ کرو ہوشیار رہو کہ یہ لوگ تم کو فتنہ میں ڈال کر اُس ہدایت سے ذرہ برابر منحرف نہ کرنے پائیں جو خدا نے تمہاری طرف نازل کی ہے پھر اگر یہ اس سے منہ موڑیں تو جان لو کہ اللہ نے اِن کے بعض گناہوں کی پاداش میں ان کو مبتلائے مصیبت کرنے کا ارادہ ہی کر لیا ہے، اور یہ حقیقت ہے کہ اِن لوگوں میں سے اکثر فاسق ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور یہ کہ اے مسلمان! اللہ کے اتارے پر حکم کر اور ان کی خواہشوں پر نہ چل اور ان سے بچتا رہ کہ کہیں تجھے لغزش نہ دے دیں کسی حکم میں جو تیری طرف اترا پھر اگر وہ منہ پھیریں تو جان لو کہ اللہ ان کے بعض گناہوں کی سزا ان کو پہنچایا چاہتا ہے اور بیشک بہت آدمی بے حکم ہیں، - Ahmed Raza

Is it judgement of
ٱلْجَٰهِلِيَّةِ
the utter ignorance
يَبْغُونَ
which they strive for?
ۚ
وَمَنْ
And who is
أَحْسَنُ
better
مِنَ
then
ٱللَّهِ
the One
حُكْمًۭا
as a judge
لِّقَوْمٍۢ
for a nation
يُوقِنُونَ
that is absolutely certain.

أَفَحُكْمَ ٱلْجَٰهِلِيَّةِ يَبْغُونَ ۚ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ حُكْمًۭا لِّقَوْمٍۢ يُوقِنُونَ Is it judgement of the utter ignorance which they strive for? And who is better then the One as a judge for a nation that is absolutely certain.

Is it a judgment of the time of (pagan) ignorance that they are seeking? Who is better than Allah for judgment to a people who have certainty (in their belief)? - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for friends. They are friends one to another. He among you who taketh them for friends is (one) of them. Lo! Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O you who have faith! Do not take the Jews and the Christians for allies: they are allies of each other. Any of you who allies with them is indeed one of them. Indeed Allah does not guide the wrongdoing lot. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Believers, do not consider the Jews and Christians as your intimate friends for they are only friends with each other. Whoever does so will be considered as one of them. God does not guide the unjust people. - Sarwar, Muhammad

فَتَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌۭ يُسَٰرِعُونَ فِيهِمْ يَقُولُونَ نَخْشَىٰٓ أَن تُصِيبَنَا دَآئِرَةٌۭ ۚ فَعَسَى ٱللَّهُ أَن يَأْتِىَ بِٱلْفَتْحِ أَوْ أَمْرٍۢ مِّنْ عِندِهِۦ فَيُصْبِحُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَآ أَسَرُّوا۟ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ نَٰدِمِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And thou seest those in whose heart is a disease race toward them, saying: We fear lest a change of fortune befall us. And it may happen that Allah will vouchsafe (unto thee) the victory, or a commandment from His presence. Then will they repent them of their secret thoughts. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Yet you see those in whose hearts is a sickness rushing to them, saying, [We fear lest a turn of fortune should visit us.] Maybe Allah will bring about a victory, or a command from Him, and then they will be regretful for what they kept secret in their hearts, - Qarai, Ali Quli

(Muhammad), you have seen those whose hearts are sick, running around among the people (Jews) saying, [We are afraid of being struck by disaster.] But if God were to grant you victory or some other favors, they would then regret for what they had been hiding in their souls. - Sarwar, Muhammad

But you will see those in whose hearts is a disease hastening towards them, saying: We fear lest a calamity should befall us; but it may be that Allah will bring the victory or a punishment from Himself, so that they shall be regretting on account of what they hid in their souls. - Shakir, Habib

You will see those whose minds are diseased hastening towards them, saying, [We fear lest a misfortune befall us.] But God may well bring about victory or make a decision which is favourable to you. Then they will repent of the thoughts, which they secretly harboured in their hearts. - Wahiduddin Khan

پیغمبر آپ دیکھیں گے کہ جن کے دلوں میں نفاق کی بیماری ہے وہ دوڑ دوڑ کر ان کی طرف جارہے ہیں اور یہ عذر بیان کرتے ہیں کہ ہمیں گردشِ زمانہ کا خوف ہے -پس عنقریب خدا اپنی طرف سے فتح یا کوئی دوسرا امر لے آئے گا تو یہ اپنے دل کے چھپائے ہوئے راز پر پشیمان ہوجائیں گے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

تم دیکھتے ہو کہ جن کے دلوں میں نفاق کی بیماری ہے وہ اُنہی میں دوڑ دھوپ کرتے پھرتے ہیں کہتے ہیں ——ہمیں ڈر لگتا ہے کہ کہیں ہم کسی مصیبت کے چکر میں نہ پھنس جائیں—— مگر بعید نہیں کہ اللہ جب تمہیں فیصلہ کن فتح بخشے گا یا اپنی طرف سے کوئی اور بات ظاہر کرے گا تو یہ لوگ اپنے اِس نفاق پر جسے یہ دلوں میں چھپائے ہوئے ہیں نادم ہوں گے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اب تم انہیں دیکھو گے جن کے دلوں میں آزار ہے کہ یہود و نصاریٰ کی طرف دوڑتے ہیں کہتے ہیں ہم ڈرتے ہیں کہ ہم پر کوئی گردش آجائے تو نزدیک ہے کہ اللہ فتح لائے یا اپنی طرف سے کوئی حکم پھر اس پر جو اپنے دلوں میں چھپایا تھا پچھتائے رہ جائیں - Ahmed Raza

(اے رسول(ص)) آپ دیکھیں گے کہ جن لوگوں کے دلوں میں نفاق کی بیماری ہے۔ وہ دوڑ دوڑ کر ان (یہود و نصاریٰ) کی طرف جاتے ہیں، کہتے ہیں کہ ہمیں اندیشہ ہے کہ کہیں ہم پر کوئی گردش زمانہ نہ آجائے سو قریب ہے کہ اللہ (تمہیں) فتح سے ہمکنار کر دے یا (کامیابی کی) کوئی اور صورت اپنی طرف سے ظاہر کر دے، تو پھر وہ اس پر جو انہوں نے اپنے دلوں میں چھپا رکھا ہے نادم و پشیمان ہوں گے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ٱلَّذِينَ أَقْسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَٰنِهِمْ ۙ إِنَّهُمْ لَمَعَكُمْ ۚ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَٰلُهُمْ فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ خَٰسِرِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Then will the believers say (unto the people of the Scripture): are these they who swore by Allah their most binding oaths that they were surely with you? Their works have failed, and they have become the losers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

and the faithful will say, [Are these the ones who swore by Allah with solemn oaths that they were with you?!] Their works have failed, and they have become losers. - Qarai, Ali Quli

The believers say, [Are these the people who proclaimed themselves to be our sworn friends?] Their deeds have become devoid of all virtue and they themselves have become lost. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And those who believe will say: Are these they who swore by Allah with the most forcible of their oaths that they were most surely with you? Their deeds shall go for nothing, so they shall become losers. - Shakir, Habib

Then the believers will say, [Are these the men who swore their strongest oaths by God, that they were with you?] Their works will come to nothing and they will lose all. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور صاحبان هایمان کہیں گے کہ کیا یہی لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے نام ه خدا پر سخت ترین قسمیں کھائی تھیں کہ ہم تمہارے ساتھ ہیں تو اب ان کے اعمال برباد ہوگئے اور یہ خسارہ والے ہوگئے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور اُس وقت اہل ایمان کہیں گے ——کیا یہ وہی لوگ ہیں جو اللہ کے نام سے کڑی کڑی قسمیں کھا کر یقین دلاتے تھے کہ ہم تمہارے ساتھ ہیں؟—— ان کے سب اعمال ضائع ہوگئے اور آخر کار یہ ناکام و نامراد ہو کر رہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

O ye who believe! Whoso of you becometh a renegade from his religion, (know that in his stead) Allah will bring a people whom He loveth and who love Him, humble toward believers, stern toward disbelievers, striving in the way of Allah, and fearing not the blame of any blamer. Such is the grace of Allah which He giveth unto whom He will. Allah is All-Embracing, All-Knowing. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O you who have faith! Should any of you desert his religion, Allah will soon bring a people whom He loves and who love Him, [who will be] humble towards the faithful, stern towards the faithless, waging jihad in the way of Allah, not fearing the blame of any blamer. That is Allah]s grace, which He grants to whomever He wishes, and Allah is all-bounteous, all-knowing. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Believers, whichever of you turns away from his faith should know that God will soon raise a people whom He loves and who love Him, who are humble towards the believers, dignified to the unbelievers, who strive hard for the cause of God, and who have no fear of anyone's accusations. This is a favor from God. He bestows His favors upon whomever He wants. God is Munificent and All-knowing. - Sarwar, Muhammad

O you who believe! whoever from among you turns back from his religion, then Allah will bring a people, He shall love them and they shall love Him, lowly before the believers, mighty against the unbelievers, they shall strive hard in Allah's way and shall not fear the censure of any censurer; this is Allah's Face, He gives it to whom He pleases, and Allah is Ample-giving, Knowing. - Shakir, Habib

Believers, if any among you renounce the faith, God will replace them by others who love Him and are loved by Him, who will be kind and considerate towards believers and firm and unyielding towards those who deny the truth. They will strive hard for the cause of God and will in no way take to heart the reproaches of the fault finder. Such is God's bounty, which He gives to anyone He wishes. God is bountiful and all-knowing. - Wahiduddin Khan

ایمان والو تم میں سے جو بھی اپنے دین سے پلٹ جائے گا ...تو عنقریب خدا ایک قوم کو لے آئے گا جو اس کی محبوب اور اس سے محبت کرنے والی مومنین کے سامنے خاکسار اور کفار کے سامنے صاحبِ عزت, راسِ خدا میں جہاد کرنے والی اور کسی ملامت کرنے والے کی ملامت کی پرواہ نہ کرنے والی ہوگی -یہ فضلِ خدا ہے وہ جسے چاہتا ہے عطا کرتا ہے اور وہ صاحبِ وسعت اور علیم و دانا بھی ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو، اگر تم میں سے کوئی اپنے دین سے پھرتا ہے (تو پھر جائے) اللہ اور بہت سے لوگ ایسے پیدا کر دے گا جو اللہ کو محبوب ہوں گے اور اللہ اُن کو محبوب ہوگا، جو مومنوں پر نرم اور کفار پر سخت ہوں گے، جو اللہ کی راہ میں جدوجہد کریں گے اور کسی ملامت کرنے والے کی ملامت سے نہ ڈریں گے یہ اللہ کا فضل ہے، جسے چاہتا ہے عطا کرتا ہے اللہ وسیع ذرائع کا مالک ہے اور سب کچھ جانتا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

Assuredly it is that
وَلِيُّكُمُ
your guardian is
ٱللَّهُ
the One,
وَرَسُولُهُۥ
and His messenger,
وَٱلَّذِينَ
and the ones who
ءَامَنُوا۟
have conviction;
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
يُقِيمُونَ
establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
the disciplined unity
وَيُؤْتُونَ
and bring forth
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
the emancipation,
وَهُمْ
while they are
رَٰكِعُونَ
of humble ones.

إِنَّمَا وَلِيُّكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَهُمْ رَٰكِعُونَ Assuredly it is that your guardian is the One, and His messenger, and the ones who have conviction; the ones who establish the disciplined unity and bring forth the emancipation, while they are of humble ones.

Your guardian can be only Allah; and His messenger and those who believe, who establish worship and pay the poordue, and bow down (in prayer). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Your guardian is only Allah, His Apostle, and the faithful who maintain the prayer and give the zakat while bowing down. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Only God, His Messenger, and the true believers who are steadfast in prayer and pay alms, while they kneel during prayer, are your guardians. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Only Allah is your Vali and His Apostle and those who believe, those who keep up prayers and pay the poor-rate while they bow. - Shakir, Habib

And whoso taketh Allah and His messenger and those who believe for guardian (will know that), lo! the party of Allah, they are the victorious. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Whoever takes for his guardians Allah, His Apostle and the faithful [should know that] the confederates of Allah are indeed the victorious. - Qarai, Ali Quli

One whose guardians are God, His Messenger, and the true believers should know that God's party will certainly triumph. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And whoever takes Allah and His apostle and those who believe for a guardian, then surely the party of Allah are they that shall be triumphant. - Shakir, Habib
