فَمَن
Then whoever
تَابَ
returned
مِنۢ
from
بَعْدِ
after
ظُلْمِهِۦ
his injustice
وَأَصْلَحَ
and takes corrective measures,
فَإِنَّ
then in that case
ٱللَّهَ
the One
يَتُوبُ
returns
عَلَيْهِ
upon him;
ۗ
إِنَّ
surely
ٱللَّهَ
the One is
غَفُورٌۭ
forgiving,
رَّحِيمٌ
safe-keeper.
٥
٣٩
فَمَن تَابَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ظُلْمِهِۦ وَأَصْلَحَ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌ Then whoever returned from after his injustice and takes corrective measures, then in that case the One returns upon him; surely the One is forgiving, safe-keeper.

But whoso repenteth after his wrongdoing and amendeth, lo! Allah will relent toward him. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

But whoever repents after his wrongdoing, and reforms, then Allah shall accept his repentance. Indeed Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful. - Qarai, Ali Quli

But whoever repents after his iniquity and reforms (himself), then surely Allah will turn to him (mercifully); surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. - Shakir, Habib

پھر ظلم کے بعد جو شخص توبہ کرلے اور اپنی اصلاح کرلے تو خدا اس کی توبہ قبول کرلے گا کہ اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا اور مہربان ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

پھر جو ظلم کرنے کے بعد توبہ کرے اور اپنی اصلاح کر لے تو اللہ کی نظر عنایت پھر اس پر مائل ہو جائے گی، اللہ بہت درگزر کرنے والا اور رحم فرمانے والا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

تو جو اپنے ظلم کے بعد توبہ کرے اور سنور جائے تو اللہ اپنی مہر سے اس پر رجوع فرمائے گا بیشک اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے، - Ahmed Raza

أَلَمْ
Do not
تَعْلَمْ
you know
أَنَّ
that,
ٱللَّهَ
the One it is
لَهُۥ
belongs to Whom
مُلْكُ
ownership of
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضِ
and the Earth?
يُعَذِّبُ
He punishes
مَن
who
يَشَآءُ
He desires,
وَيَغْفِرُ
and He has forgiveness
لِمَن
for whom
يَشَآءُ
He desires.
ۗ
وَٱللَّهُ
And the One
عَلَىٰ
upon
كُلِّ
all
شَىْءٍۢ
things
قَدِيرٌۭ
is capable.
٥
٤٠
أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ يُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ Do not you know that, the One it is belongs to Whom ownership of the heavens and the Earth? He punishes who He desires, and He has forgiveness for whom He desires. And the One upon all things is capable.

Knowest thou not that unto Allah belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth? He punisheth whom He will, and forgiveth whom He will. Allah is Able to do all things. - Pickthall, Marmaduke
