فَبَعَثَ
Thus induced
ٱللَّهُ
the One
غُرَابًۭا
a crow
يَبْحَثُ
croaking
فِى
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the land
لِيُرِيَهُۥ
to make him (the murderer) see it (crow)
كَيْفَ
how
يُوَٰرِى
it put behind
سَوْءَةَ
ill of
أَخِيهِ
his brother.
ۚ
قَالَ
(The murderer) said,
يَٰوَيْلَتَىٰٓ
[O affliction upon me!
أَعَجَزْتُ
Was I so disabled
أَنْ
that
أَكُونَ
I could not even be
مِثْلَ
like
هَٰذَا
this
ٱلْغُرَابِ
crow,
فَأُوَٰرِىَ
thus putting behind
سَوْءَةَ
ill of
أَخِى
my brother?]
ۖ
فَأَصْبَحَ
Thus became
مِنَ
from
ٱلنَّٰدِمِينَ
the regretful ones.
٥
٣١
فَبَعَثَ ٱللَّهُ غُرَابًۭا يَبْحَثُ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ لِيُرِيَهُۥ كَيْفَ يُوَٰرِى سَوْءَةَ أَخِيهِ ۚ قَالَ يَٰوَيْلَتَىٰٓ أَعَجَزْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِثْلَ هَٰذَا ٱلْغُرَابِ فَأُوَٰرِىَ سَوْءَةَ أَخِى ۖ فَأَصْبَحَ مِنَ ٱلنَّٰدِمِينَ Thus induced the One a crow croaking in the land to make him (the murderer) see it (crow) how it put behind ill of his brother. (The murderer) said, [O affliction upon me! Was I so disabled that I could not even be like this crow, thus putting behind ill of my brother?] Thus became from the regretful ones.

Then Allah sent a raven scratching up the ground, to show him how to hide his brother's naked corpse. He said: Woe unto me! Am I not able to be as this raven and so hide my brother's naked corpse? And he became repentant. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Then Allah sent a crow, exploring in the ground, to show him how to bury the corpse of his brother. He said, [Woe to me! Am I unable to be [even] like this crow and bury my brother]s corpse?] Thus he became regretful. - Qarai, Ali Quli

God sent down a raven which started to dig up the earth to show the killer how to bury the corpse of his brother. On seeing the raven, (Cain) said, [Woe to me! Am I less able than a raven to bury the corpse of my brother?] He became greatly remorseful. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Then Allah sent a crow digging up the earth so that he might show him how he should cover the dead body of his brother. He said: Woe me! do I lack the strength that I should be like this crow and cover the dead body of my brother? So he became of those who regret. - Shakir, Habib

Then God sent a raven, which scratched the earth, so that He might show him how to hide the corpse of his brother. [Alas!] he cried, [Am I not able even to be like this raven, so that I may hide the corpse of my brother?] And he repented. - Wahiduddin Khan

پھر خدا نے ایک کوّا بھیجا جو زمین کھود رہا تھا کہ اسے دکھلائے کہ بھائی کی لاش کو کس طرح چھپائے گا تو اس نے کہا کہ افسوس میں اس کوّے کے جیسا بھی نہ ہوسکا کہ اپنے بھائی کی لاش کو زمین میں چھاَپا دیتا اور اس طرح وہ نادمین اور پشیمان لوگوں میں شامل ہوگیا - Jawadi, Zeeshan

پھر اللہ نے ایک کوا بھیجا جو زمین کھودنے لگا تاکہ اُسے بتائے کہ اپنے بھائی کی لاش کیسے چھپائے یہ دیکھ کر وہ بولا افسوس مجھ پر! میں اس کوے جیسا بھی نہ ہوسکا کہ اپنے بھائی کی لاش چھپانے کی تدبیر نکال لیتا اس کے بعد وہ اپنے کیے پر بہت پچھتا یا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

تو اللہ نے ایک کوا بھیجا زمین کریدتا کہ اسے دکھائے کیونکر اپنے بھائی کی لاش چھپائے بولا ہائے خرابی میں اس کوے جیسا بھی نہ ہوسکا کہ میں اپنے بھائی کی لاش چھپاتا تو پچتاتا رہ گیا - Ahmed Raza

كَتَبْنَا
We ordained
عَلَىٰ

بَنِىٓ

إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
Israel,
أَنَّهُۥ
that he
مَن
who
قَتَلَ
murdered
نَفْسًۢا
a psyche that is
بِغَيْرِ
without
نَفْسٍ
self (that is selfless)
أَوْ
or
فَسَادٍۢ
corruption
فِى
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the land,
فَكَأَنَّمَا
hence is just like
قَتَلَ
murder of
ٱلنَّاسَ
the people
جَمِيعًۭا
all together,
وَمَنْ
and who
أَحْيَاهَا
nourished it (gave life to)
فَكَأَنَّمَآ
then that is just like
أَحْيَا
giving life to
ٱلنَّاسَ
the people
جَمِيعًۭا
collectively;
ۚ
وَلَقَدْ
and for sure
جَآءَتْهُمْ
when came to them
رُسُلُنَا
Our messengers
بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ
with (these) clarifications,
ثُمَّ
still
إِنَّ
it was such that
كَثِيرًۭا
a many
مِّنْهُم
from them,
بَعْدَ
after
ذَٰلِكَ
that
فِى
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the Earth,
لَمُسْرِفُونَ
were disparaging.
٥
٣٢
مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَٰلِكَ كَتَبْنَا عَلَىٰ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ أَنَّهُۥ مَن قَتَلَ نَفْسًۢا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍۢ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ ٱلنَّاسَ جَمِيعًۭا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَآ أَحْيَا ٱلنَّاسَ جَمِيعًۭا ۚ وَلَقَدْ جَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُنَا بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ ثُمَّ إِنَّ كَثِيرًۭا مِّنْهُم بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ لَمُسْرِفُونَ From since time of that, We ordained upon bani Israel, that he who murdered a psyche that is without self (that is selfless) or corruption in the land, hence is just like murder of the people all together, and who nourished it (gave life to) then that is just like giving life to the people collectively; and for sure when came to them Our messengers with (these) clarifications, still it was such that a many from them, after that in the Earth, were disparaging.

For that cause We decreed for the Children of Israel that whosoever killeth a human being for other than manslaughter or corruption in the earth, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind, and whoso saveth the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind. Our messengers came unto them of old with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), but afterwards lo! many of them became prodigals in the earth. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

That is why We decreed for the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, without [its being guilty of] manslaughter or corruption on the earth, is as though he had killed all mankind, and whoever saves a life is as though he had saved all mankind. Our apostles certainly brought them manifest signs, yet even after that, many of them commit excesses on the earth. - Qarai, Ali Quli

For this reason, We made it a law for the children of Israel that the killing of a person for reasons other than legal retaliation or for stopping corruption in the land is as great a sin as murdering all of mankind. However, to save a life would be as great a virtue as to save all of mankind. Our Messengers had come to them with clear authoritative evidence but many of them (Israelites) thereafter started doing wrong in the land. - Sarwar, Muhammad

For this reason did We prescribe to the children of Israel that whoever slays a soul, unless it be for manslaughter or for mischief in the land, it is as though he slew all men; and whoever keeps it alive, it is as though he kept alive all men; and certainly Our apostles came to them with clear arguments, but even after that many of them certainly act extravagantly in the land. - Shakir, Habib

That was why We laid it down for the Children of Israel that whoever killed a human being, except as a punishment for murder or for spreading corruption in the land, shall be regarded as having killed all mankind, and that whoever saved a human life shall be regarded as having saved all mankind. Our messengers came to them with clear signs, but many of them continued to commit excesses in the land. - Wahiduddin Khan

اسی بنا پر ہم نے بنی اسرائیل پر لکھ دیا کہ جو شخص کسی نفس کو .... کسی نفس کے بدلے یا روئے زمین میں فساد کی سزا کے علاوہ قتل کرڈالے گا اس نے گویا سارے انسانوں کو قتل کردیا اور جس نے ایک نفس کو زندگی دے دی اس نے گویا سارے انسانوں کو زندگی دے دی اور بنی اسرائیل کے پاس ہمارے رسول کھلی ہوئی نشانیاں لے کر آئے مگر اس کے بعد بھی ان میں کے اکثر لوگ زمین میں زیادتیاں کرنے والے ہی رہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اسی وجہ سے بنی اسرائیل پر ہم نے یہ فرمان لکھ دیا تھا کہ ——جس نے کسی انسان کو خون کے بدلے یا زمین میں فساد پھیلانے کے سوا کسی اور وجہ سے قتل کیا اس نے گویا تمام انسانوں کو قتل کر دیا اور جس نے کسی کی جان بچائی اُس نے گویا تمام انسانوں کو زندگی بخش دی—— مگر اُن کا حال یہ ہے کہ ہمارے رسول پے در پے ان کے پاس کھلی کھلی ہدایات لے کر آئے پھر بھی ان میں بکثرت لوگ زمین میں زیادتیاں کرنے والے ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اس سبب سے ہم نے بنی اسرائیل پر لکھ دیا کہ جس نے کوئی جان قتل کی بغیر جان کے بدلے یا زمین میں فساد کیے تو گویا اس نے سب لوگوں کو قتل کیا اور جس نے ایک جان کو جِلا لیا اس نے گویا سب لوگوں کو جلالیا، اور بیشک ان کے پاس ہمارے رسول روشن دلیلوں کے ساتھ آئے پھر بیشک ان میں بہت اس کے بعد زمین میں زیادتی کرنے والے ہیں - Ahmed Raza

اسی وجہ سے ہم نے بنی اسرائیل پر لکھ دیا کہ جس نے کسی انسان کو قتل کیا بغیر اس کے کہ اس نے کسی کی جان لی ہو، یا زمین میں فساد برپا کیا ہو، تو وہ ایسا ہے جیسے کہ اس نے تمام انسانوں کو قتل کر دیا اور جس نے کسی ایک جان کو بچا لیا، تو وہ ایسا ہے جیسے کہ اس نے تمام انسانوں کو بچا لیا اور بے شک ان (بنی اسرائیل) کے پاس ہمارے رسول کھلی ہوئی نشانیاں لے کر آئے۔ پھر بھی ان میں سے بہت سے لوگ اس کے بعد بھی زمین میں ظلم و تعدی کرنے والے ہی رہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ

عَذَابٌ

عَظِيمٌ

٣٣
إِنَّمَا جَزَٰٓؤُا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ يُحَارِبُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَسَادًا أَن يُقَتَّلُوٓا۟ أَوْ يُصَلَّبُوٓا۟ أَوْ تُقَطَّعَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَرْجُلُهُم مِّنْ خِلَٰفٍ أَوْ يُنفَوْا۟ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لَهُمْ خِزْىٌۭ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. Such will be their degradation in the world, and in the Hereafter theirs will be an awful doom; - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Indeed the requital of those who wage war against Allah and His Apostle, and try to cause corruption on the earth, is that they shall be slain or crucified, or shall have their hands and feet cut off from opposite sides, or be banished from the land. That is a disgrace for them in this world, and in the Hereafter, there is a great punishment for them, - Qarai, Ali Quli

The only proper recompense for those who fight against God and His Messenger and try to spread evil in the land is to be killed, crucified, or either to have one of their hands and feet cut from the opposite side or to be sent into exile. These are to disgrace them in this life and they will suffer a great torment in the life hereafter. - Sarwar, Muhammad

The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His apostle and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement, - Shakir, Habib

Those that make war against God and His Messenger and spread disorder in the land shall be put to death or crucified or have their hands and feet cut off on alternate sides, or be banished from the country. بس خدا و رسول سے جنگ کرنے والے اور زمین میں فساد کرنے والوں کی سزا یہی ہے کہ انہیں قتل کردیا جائے یا سولی پر چڑھا دیا جائے یا ان کے ہاتھ اور پیر مختلف سمت سے قطع کردئیے جائیں یا انہیں ارض ه وطن سے نکال باہر کیا جائے .یہ ان کے لئے دنیا میں رسوائی ہے اور ان کے لئے آخرت میں عذاب هعظیم ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

جو لوگ اللہ اور اس کے رسول سے لڑتے ہیں اور زمین میں اس لیے تگ و دو کرتے پھرتے ہیں کہ فساد برپا کریں اُن کی سزا یہ ہے کہ قتل کیے جائیں، یا سولی پر چڑھائے جائیں، یا اُن کے ہاتھ اور پاؤں مخالف سمتوں سے کاٹ ڈالے جائیں، یا وہ جلا وطن کر دیے جائیں، یہ ذلت و رسوائی تو اُن کے لیے دنیا میں ہے اور آخرت میں اُن کے لیے اس سے بڑی سزا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

وہ کہ اللہ اور اس کے رسول سے لڑتے اور ملک میں فساد کرتے پھرتے ہیں ان کا بدلہ یہی ہے کہ گن گن کر قتل کیے جائیں یا سولی دیے جائیں یا ان کے ایک طرف کے ہاتھ اور دوسری طرف کے پاؤں کاٹے جائیں یا زمین سے دور کردیے جائیں، یہ دنیا میں ان کی رسوائی ہے، اور آخرت میں ان کے لیے بڑا غداب، - Ahmed Raza

upon them;

فَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟
thus know
أَنَّ
that
ٱللَّهَ
the One is
غَفُورٌۭ
forgiving,
رَّحِيمٌۭ
merciful.

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ تَابُوا۟ مِن قَبْلِ أَن تَقْدِرُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ فَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ Except the ones who repent from before that a value is assigned upon them; thus know that the One is forgiving, merciful.

Save those who repent before ye overpower them. For know that Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

As for those who disbelieve, lo! if all that is in the earth were theirs, and as much again therewith, to ransom them from the doom on the Day of Resurrection, it would not be accepted from them. Theirs will be a painful doom. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

وَٱلسَّارِقُ وَٱلسَّارِقَةُ فَٱقْطَعُوٓا۟ أَيْدِيَهُمَا جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَسَبَا نَكَٰلًۭا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌۭ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

As for the thief, both male and female, cut off their hands. It is the reward of their own deeds, an exemplary punishment from Allah. Allah is Mighty, Wise. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Then whoever
تَابَ

his injustice
وَأَصْلَحَ
and takes corrective measures,
فَإِنَّ
then in that case
ٱللَّهَ
the One
يَتُوبُ
returns
عَلَيْهِ
upon him;
ۗ
إِنَّ
surely
ٱللَّهَ
the One is
غَفُورٌۭ
forgiving,
رَّحِيمٌ
safe-keeper.
٥
٣٩
فَمَن تَابَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ظُلْمِهِۦ وَأَصْلَحَ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌ Then whoever returned from after his injustice and takes corrective measures, then in that case the One returns upon him; surely the One is forgiving, safe-keeper.

But whoso repenteth after his wrongdoing and amendeth, lo! Allah will relent toward him. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضِ
and the Earth?
يُعَذِّبُ
He punishes
مَن

يَشَآءُ
He desires,
وَيَغْفِرُ
and He has forgiveness
لِمَن
for whom
يَشَآءُ
He desires.
ۗ
وَٱللَّهُ
And the One
عَلَىٰ
upon
كُلِّ
all
شَىْءٍۢ
things
قَدِيرٌۭ
is capable.
٥

أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ يُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ Do not you know that, the One it is belongs to Whom ownership of the heavens and the Earth? He punishes who He desires, and He has forgiveness for whom He desires. And the One upon all things is capable.

Knowest thou not that unto Allah belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth? He punisheth whom He will, and forgiveth whom He will. Allah is Able to do all things. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلرَّسُولُ لَا يَحْزُنكَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُسَٰرِعُونَ فِى ٱلْكُفْرِ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَلَمْ تُؤْمِن قُلُوبُهُمْ ۛ وَمِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ هَادُوا۟ ۛ سَمَّٰعُونَ لِلْكَذِبِ سَمَّٰعُونَ لِقَوْمٍ ءَاخَرِينَ لَمْ يَأْتُوكَ ۖ يُحَرِّفُونَ ٱلْكَلِمَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَوَاضِعِهِۦ ۖ يَقُولُونَ إِنْ أُوتِيتُمْ هَٰذَا فَخُذُوهُ وَإِن لَّمْ تُؤْتَوْهُ فَٱحْذَرُوا۟ ۚ وَمَن يُرِدِ ٱللَّهُ فِتْنَتَهُۥ فَلَن تَمْلِكَ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيْـًٔا ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَمْ يُرِدِ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُطَهِّرَ قُلُوبَهُمْ ۚ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا خِزْىٌۭ ۖ وَلَهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌۭ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

O Messenger! Let not them grieve thee who vie one with another in the race to disbelief, of such as say with their mouths: [We believe,] but their hearts believe not, and of the Jews: listeners for the sake of falsehood, listeners on behalf of other folk who come not unto thee, changing words from their context and saying: If this be given unto you, receive it, but if this be not given unto you, then beware! He whom Allah doometh unto sin, thou (by thine efforts) wilt avail him naught against Allah. Those are they for whom the Will of Allah is that He cleanse not their hearts. Theirs in the world will be ignominy, and in the Hereafter an awful doom; - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O Apostle! Do not grieve for those who are active in [promoting] unfaith, such as those who say, [We believe] with their mouths, but whose hearts have no faith, and the Jews who eavesdrop with the aim of [telling] lies [against you] and eavesdrop for other people who do not come to you. They pervert words from their meanings, [and] say, [If you are given this, take it, but if you are not given this, beware!] Yet whomever Allah wishes to mislead, you cannot avail him anything against Allah. They are the ones whose hearts Allah did not desire to purify. For them is disgrace in this world, and there is a great punishment for them in the Hereafter. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Messenger, do not be grieved about the people who run back to disbelief. They only say that they believe but, in fact, they have no faith in their hearts. Some Jews knowingly listen to lies and accept the lies which come from others, (Jews), who have no relation with you and who distort certain words of the Bible and say to the people, [Accept only those words which are the same as what We have told you. If you do not, then beware!] You can not help those whom God wants to try. God does not want to cleanse the hearts of such people. They lead a disgraceful life in this world and in the life hereafter they will suffer a great torment. - Sarwar, Muhammad

O Apostle! let not those grieve you who strive together in hastening to unbelief from among those who say with their mouths: We believe, and their hearts do not believe, and from among those who are Jews; they are listeners for the sake of a lie, listeners for another people who have not come to you; they alter the words from their places, saying: If you are given this, take it, and if you are not given this, be cautious; and as for him whose temptation Allah desires, you cannot control anything for him with Allah. Those are they for whom Allah does not desire that He should purify their hearts; they shall have disgrace in this world, and they shall have a grievous chastisement in the hereafter. - Shakir, Habib

Messenger, do not be grieved by those who vie with one another in denying the truth; those who say with their tongues, [We believe,] but have no faith in their hearts; from among the Jews also, there are those who listen eagerly to any lies. They listen to you to convey to others [religious leaders] who do not come to you [out of pride and conceit]. They [these leaders] take words out of their context and say, [If this be given to you, receive it, but if not, then beware!] If anyone's trial is intended by God, you cannot in the least prevail against God on his behalf. Those whose hearts God does not intend to purify shall be subjected to disgrace in this world and a severe punishment in the Hereafter. - Wahiduddin Khan

اے رسول ایمان کا دعویٰ کرنے والوں میں جو لوگ کفر کی طرف جلد بازی سے بڑھ رہے ہیں ان کی حرکات سے آپ رنجیدہ نہ ہوں -یہ صرف زبان سے ایمان کا نام لیتے ہیں اور ان کے دل مومن نہیں ہیں اور یہودیوں میں سے بھی بعض ایسے ہیں جو جھوٹی باتیں سنتے ہیں اور دوسری قوم والے جو آپ کے پاس حاضر نہیں ہوئے انہیں سناتے ہیں - یہ کلمات کو ان کی جگہ سے ہٹا دیتے ہیں اور لوگوں سے کہتے ہیں کہ اگر پیغمبر کی طرف سے یہی دیا جائے تو لے لینا اور اگر یہ نہ دیا جائے تو پرہیز کرنا اور جس کے فتنہ کے بارے میں خدا ارادہ کرلے اس کے بارے میں آپ کا کوئی اختیار نہیں ہے یہ وہ افراد ہیں جن کے بارے میں خدا نے یہ ارادہ ہی نہیں کیا کہ زبردستی ان کے دلوں کو پاک کردے گا -ان کے لئے دنیا میں بھی رسوائی ہے اور آخرت میں بھی عذابِ عظیم ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اے پیغمبرؐ! تمہارے لیے باعث رنج نہ ہوں وہ لوگ جو کفر کی راہ میں بڑی تیز گامی دکھا رہے ہیں خواہ وہ اُن میں سے ہوں جو منہ سے کہتے ہیں ہم ایمان لائے مگر دل اُن کے ایمان نہیں لائے، یا اُن میں سے ہوں جو یہودی بن گئے ہیں، جن کا حال یہ ہے کہ جھوٹ کے لیے کان لگاتے ہیں، اور دوسرے لوگوں کی خاطر، جو تمہارے پاس کبھی نہیں آئے، سن گن لیتے پھرتے ہیں، کتاب اللہ کے الفاظ کو اُن کا صحیح محل متعین ہونے کے باوجود اصل معنی سے پھیرتے ہیں، اور لوگوں سے کہتے ہیں کہ اگر تمہیں یہ حکم دیا جائے تو مانو نہیں تو نہ مانو جسے اللہ ہی نے فتنہ میں ڈالنے کا ارادہ کر لیا ہو تو اس کو اللہ کی گرفت سے بچانے کے لیے تم کچھ نہیں کرسکتے، یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جن کے دلوں کو اللہ نے پاک کرنا نہ چاہا، ان کے لیے دنیا میں رسوائی ہے اور آخرت میں سخت سزا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اے رسول! تمہیں غمگین نہ کریں وہ جو کفر پڑ دوڑتے ہیں جو کچھ وہ اپنے منہ سے کہتے ہیں ہم ایمان لائے اور ان کے دل مسلمان نہیں اور کچھ یہودی جھوٹ خوب سنتے ہیں اور لوگوں کی خوب سنتے ہیں جو تمہارے پاس حاضر نہ ہوئے اللہ کی باتوں کو ان کے ٹھکانوں کے بعد بدل دیتے ہیں، کہتے ہیں یہ حکم تمہیں ملے تو مانو اور یہ نہ ملے تو بچو اور جسے اللہ گمراہ کرنا چاہے تو ہرگز تو اللہ سے اس کا کچھ بنا نہ سکے گا، وہ ہیں کہ اللہ نے ان کا دل پاک کرنا نہ چاہا، انہیں دنیا میں رسوائی ہے، اور انہیں آخرت میں بڑا عذاب، - Ahmed Raza

اے رسول! وہ لوگ آپ کو غمگین نہ کریں جو کفر کی طرف تیزگامی سے بڑھ رہے ہوں۔ خواہ یہ ان لوگوں میں سے ہوں جو منہ سے تو کہتے ہیں کہ ہم ایمان لائے، مگر ان کے دل ایمان نہیں لائے اور یا ان میں سے ہوں جو یہودی ہیں جھوٹ کے بڑے سننے والے ہیں اور سن گن لیتے ہیں دوسرے لوگوں کے لئے جو آپ کے پاس نہیں آئے۔ وہ (کتاب خدا کے) کلمات کو ان کے صحیح موقعوں سے ہٹا دیتے ہیں اور (تحریف کرنے کے بعد) کہتے ہیں کہ اگر تمہیں یہ حکم دیا جائے تو قبول کرو۔ اور اگر یہ نہ دیا جائے تو پرہیز کرو۔ اور اللہ جسے عذاب کرنا چاہے، تو آپ اس کے لئے کچھ نہیں کر سکتے۔ اللہ کے ہاں یہ وہ ہیں کہ اللہ نے (زبردستی) ان کے دلوں کو پاک کرنے کا ارادہ ہی نہیں کیا۔ ان کے لئے دنیا میں رسوائی ہے اور آخرت میں بہت بڑا عذاب ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
