O ye who believe! Remember Allah's favour unto you, how a people were minded to stretch out their hands against you but He withheld their hands from you; and keep your duty to Allah. In Allah let believers put their trust. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو، اللہ کے اُس احسان کو یاد کرو جو اُس نے (ابھی حال میں) تم پر کیا ہے، جبکہ ایک گروہ نے تم پر دست درازی کا ارادہ کر لیا تھا مگر اللہ نے اُن کے ہاتھ تم پر اٹھنے سے روک دیے اللہ سے ڈر کر کام کرتے رہو، ایمان رکھنے والوں کو اللہ ہی پر بھروسہ کرنا چاہیے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

وَلَقَدْ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ مِيثَٰقَ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ وَبَعَثْنَا مِنْهُمُ ٱثْنَىْ عَشَرَ نَقِيبًۭا ۖ وَقَالَ ٱللَّهُ إِنِّى مَعَكُمْ ۖ لَئِنْ أَقَمْتُمُ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتَيْتُمُ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَءَامَنتُم بِرُسُلِى وَعَزَّرْتُمُوهُمْ وَأَقْرَضْتُمُ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًۭا لَّأُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنكُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمْ وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّكُمْ جَنَّٰتٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۚ فَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ مِنكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَآءَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Allah made a covenant of old with the Children of Israel and We raised among them twelve chieftains, and Allah said: Lo! I am with you. If ye establish worship and pay the poor-due, and believe in My messengers and support them, and lend unto Allah a kindly loan, surely I shall remit your sins, and surely I shall bring you into Gardens underneath which rivers flow. Whoso among you disbelieveth after this will go astray from a plain road. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Certainly Allah took a pledge from the Children of Israel, and We raised among them twelve chiefs. And Allah said, [I am with you! Surely, if you maintain the prayer and give the zakat and have faith in My apostles and support them and lend Allah a good loan, I will surely absolve you of your misdeeds, and I will surely admit you into gardens with streams running in them. But whoever of you disbelieves after that has certainly strayed from the right way.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

God certainly made a solemn covenant with the children of Israel and raised among them twelve elders. God said to them, [I am with you if you will be steadfast in your prayers, pay (zakat) religious tax, believe in My Messengers, support them with reverence, and give a generous loan for the cause of God.] We shall expiate your bad deeds and admit you to the gardens wherein streams flow. Whichever of you turns to disbelief after this has certainly gone astray (from the right path).] - Sarwar, Muhammad

And certainly Allah made a covenant with the children of Israel, and We raised up among them twelve chieftains; and Allah said: Surely I am with you; if you keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and believe in My apostles and assist them and offer to Allah a goodly gift, I will most certainly cover your evil deeds, and I will most certainly cause you to enter into gardens beneath which rivers flow, but whoever disbelieves from among you after that, he indeed shall lose the right way. - Shakir, Habib

اور بے شک اللہ نے بنی اسرائیل سے عہد لیا اور ہم نے ان میں سے بارہ نقیب بھیجے اور خدا نے یہ بھی کہہ دیاکہ ہم تمہارے ساتھ ہیں اگر تم نے نماز قائم کی اور زکوِٰ ادا کی اور ہمارے رسولوں پر ایمان لے آئے اور ان کی مدد کی اور خدا کی راہ میں قرض حسنہ دیاتو ہم یقینا تمہاری برائیوں سے درگزر کریں گے اور تمہیں ان باغات میں داخل کریں گے جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں گی -پھر جو اس کے بعد کفر کرے گا تو وہ بہت اِرے راستہ کی طرف بہک گیا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اللہ نے بنی اسرائیل سے پختہ عہد لیا تھا اور ان میں بارہ نقیب مقرر کیے تھے اور ان سے کہا تھا کہ ——میں تمہارے ساتھ ہوں، اگر تم نے نماز قائم رکھی اور زکوٰۃ دی اور میرے رسولوں کو مانا اور ان کی مدد کی اور اپنے خدا کو اچھا قرض دیتے رہے تو یقین رکھو کہ میں تمہاری برائیاں تم سے زائل کر دوں گا اور تم کو ایسے باغوں میں داخل کروں گا جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہوں گی، مگراس کے بعد جس نے تم میں سے کفر کی روش اختیار کی تو در حقیقت اُس نے سوا٫ السبیل گم کر دی—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور بیشک اللہ نے بنی اسرائیل سے عہد کیا اور ہم نے ان میں بارہ سردار قائم کیے اور اللہ نے فرمایا بیشک میں تمہارے ساتھ ہوں ضرور اگر تم نماز قائم رکھو اور زکوٰة دو اور میرے سوالوں پر ایمان لاؤ اور ان کی تعظیم کرو اور اللہ کو قرض حسن دو بیشک میں تمہارے گناہ اتار دوں گا اور ضرور تمہیں باغوں میں لے جاؤں گا جن کے نیچے نہریں رواں، پھر اس کے بعد جو تم میں سے کفر کرے وہ ضرور سیدھی راہ سے بہکا - Ahmed Raza

اور بلاشبہ اللہ نے بنی اسرائیل سے عہدوپیمان لیا تھا اور ہم نے بھی بارہ نقیب (سردار) مقرر کئے تھے۔ اور اللہ نے (ان سے) کہا تھا کہ بے شک میں تمہارے ساتھ ہوں۔ تو اگر تم نماز قائم رکھوگے، اور زکوٰۃ دیتے رہوگے اور میرے رسولوں پر ایمان لاتے رہوگے، اور ان کی مدد کرتے رہوگے اور اللہ کو قرضہ حسنہ دیتے رہوگے تو میں ضرور تمہارے گناہ تم سے دور کر دوں گا۔ (معاف کر دوں گا) اور تمہیں ان بہشتوں میں داخل کروں گا۔ جن کے نیچے سے نہریں جاری ہوں گی مگر تم میں سے جس نے اس کے بعد کفر اختیار کیا وہ ضرور سیدھے راستے سے بھٹک گیا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

فَبِمَا نَقْضِهِم مِّيثَٰقَهُمْ لَعَنَّٰهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَا قُلُوبَهُمْ قَٰسِيَةًۭ ۖ يُحَرِّفُونَ ٱلْكَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِۦ ۙ وَنَسُوا۟ حَظًّۭا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِهِۦ ۚ وَلَا تَزَالُ تَطَّلِعُ عَلَىٰ خَآئِنَةٍۢ مِّنْهُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًۭا مِّنْهُمْ ۖ فَٱعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَٱصْفَحْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And because of their breaking their covenant, We have cursed them and made hard their hearts. They change words from their context and forget a part of that whereof they were admonished. Thou wilt not cease to discover treachery from all save a few of them. But bear with them and pardon them. Lo! Allah loveth the kindly. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Then, because of their breaking their covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hard: they pervert words from their meanings, and have forgotten a part of what they were reminded. You will not cease to learn of some of their treachery, excepting a few of them. Yet excuse them and forbear. Indeed Allah loves the virtuous. - Qarai, Ali Quli

For their disregard of their solemn covenant with God, We condemned the Israelites and made their hearts hard as stone. Now they displace the words of God and have forgotten their share of the guidance that they had received. Still you receive news of the treachery of all but a few of them. Forgive and ignore them. God loves the righteous ones. - Sarwar, Muhammad

But on account of their breaking their covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hard; they altered the words from their places and they neglected a portion of what they were reminded of; and you shall always discover treachery in them excepting a few of them; so pardon them and turn away; surely Allah loves those who do good (to others). - Shakir, Habib

Since they broke their solemn pledge, We laid on them Our curse and hardened their hearts. They distorted the meaning of the revealed words, taking them out of their context, and forgot much of what they were enjoined. You will constantly discover treachery on their part, except for a few of them. But pardon them, and bear with them; truly, God loves the doers of good. - Wahiduddin Khan

پھر ان کی عہد شکنی کی بنا پر ہم نے ان پر لعنت کی اور ان کے دلوں کو سخت بنا دیا وہ ہمارے کلمات کو ان کی جگہ سے ہٹا دیتے ہیں اور انہوں نے ہماری یاددہانی کا اکثر حصّہ فراموش کردیا ہے اور تم ان کی خیانتوں پر برابر مطلع ہوتے رہوگے علاوہ چند افراد کے لہذا ان سے درگزر کرو اور ان کی طرف سے کنارہ کشی کرو کہ اللہ احسان کرنے والوں کو دوست رکھتا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

پھر یہ اُن کا اپنے عہد کو توڑ ڈالنا تھا جس کی وجہ سے ہم نے ان کو اپنی رحمت سے دور پھینک دیا اور ان کے دل سخت کر دیے اب ان کا حال یہ ہے کہ الفاظ کا الٹ پھیر کر کے بات کو کہیں سے کہیں لے جاتے ہیں، جو تعلیم انہیں دی گئی تھی اُس کا بڑا حصہ بھول چکے ہیں، اور آئے دن تمہیں ان کی کسی نہ کسی خیانت کا پتہ چلتا رہتا ہے ان میں سے بہت کم لوگ اس عیب سے بچے ہوئے ہیں (پس جب یہ اِس حال کو پہنچ چکے ہیں تو جو شرارتیں بھی یہ کریں وہ ان سے عین متوقع ہیں) لہٰذا انہیں معاف کرو اور ان کی حرکات سے چشم پوشی کرتے رہو، اللہ اُن لوگوں کو پسند کرتا ہے جو احسان کی روش رکھتے ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

تو ان کی کیسی بد عہدیوں پر ہم نے انہیں لعنت کی اور ان کے دل سخت کردیئے اللہ کی باتوں کو ان کے ٹھکانوں سے بدلتے ہیں اور بُھلا بیٹھے بڑا حصہ ان نصیحتوں کا جو انہیں دی گئیں اور تم ہمیشہ ان کی ایک نہ ایک دغا پر مطلع ہوتے رہو گے سوا تھوڑوں کے تو انہیں معاف کردو اور ان سے درگزرو بیشک احسان والے ا لله کو محبوب ہیں، - Ahmed Raza

ان کی عہد شکنی کی وجہ سے ہم نے ان پر لعنت کی (اپنی رحمت سے دور کر دیا) اور ان کے دلوں کو سخت کر دیا کہ وہ اب کلامِ (الٰہی) کو اس کی اصلی جگہ سے ہٹا دیتے ہیں (تحریف کرتے ہیں) اور جس چیز کی ان کو نصیحت کی گئی تھی اس کا بڑا حصہ بھلا بیٹھے ہیں (اے پیغمبر(ص)) ان کے معدودے چند آدمیوں کے سوا برابر ان کی کسی نہ کسی خیانت پر مطلع ہوتے رہیں گے لہٰذا انہیں معاف کر دیجیے اور ان سے درگزر کیجیے بے شک اللہ معاف کرنے والوں کو دوست رکھتا ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

And with those who say: [Lo! we are Christians,] We made a covenant, but they forgot a part of that whereof they were admonished. Therefor We have stirred up enmity and hatred among them till the Day of Resurrection, when Allah will inform them of their handiwork. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Also from those who say, [We are Christians,] We took their pledge; but they forgot a part of what they were reminded. So We stirred up enmity and hatred among them until the Day of Resurrection, and soon Allah will inform them concerning what they had been doing. - Qarai, Ali Quli

We had made a solemn covenant with those who call themselves Christians, but they forgot their share of the guidance that was sent to them. We have induced hatred and animosity among them which will remain with them until the Day of Judgment when God will tell them about what they had done. - Sarwar, Muhammad

اور جن لوگوں کا کہنا ہے کہ ہم نصرانی ہیں ہم نے ان سے بھی عہد لیا اور انہوں نے بھی ہماری نصیحت (انجیل)کے ایک حصّہ کو فراموش کردیا تو ہم نے بطور سزا ان کے درمیان عداوت اور بغض کو قیامت تک کے لئے راستہ دے دیا اور عنقریب خدا انہیں ان باتوں سے باخبر کرے گا جو وہ انجام دے رہے تھے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اِسی طرح ہم نے اُن لوگوں سے بھی پختہ عہد لیا تھا جنہوں نے کہا تھا کہ ہم ——نصاریٰ—— ہیں، مگر ان کو بھی جو سبق یاد کرایا گیا تھا اس کا ایک بڑا حصہ اُنہوں نے فراموش کر دیا آخر کار ہم نے ان کے درمیان قیامت تک کے لیے دشمنی اور آپس کے بغض و عناد کا بیج بو دیا، اور ضرور ایک وقت آئے گا جب اللہ انہیں بتائے گا کہ وہ دنیا میں کیا بناتے رہے ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور وہ جنہوں نے دعویٰ کیا کہ ہم نصاریٰ ہیں ہم نے ان سے عہد لیا تو وہ بھلا بیٹھے بڑا حصہ ان نصیحتوں کا جو انہیں دی گئیں تو ہم نے ان کے آپس میں قیامت کے دن تک بَیر اور بغض ڈال دیا اور عنقریب اللہ انہیں بتادے گا جو کچھ کرتے تھے - Ahmed Raza

O People of the Scripture! Now hath Our messenger come unto you, expounding unto you much of that which ye used to hide in the Scripture, and forgiving much. now hath come unto you light from Allah and plain Scripture, - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O People of the Book! Certainly Our Apostle has come to you, clarifying for you much of what you used to hide of the Book, and excusing many [an offense of yours]. Certainly, there has come to you a light from Allah, and a manifest Book. - Qarai, Ali Quli

People of the Book, Our Messenger has come to you. He tells you about the many things that you had been hiding of the Book and forgives you much. A light and a clarifying Book has come to you from God - Sarwar, Muhammad

اے اہل کتاب تمہارے پاس ہمارا رسول آچکا ہے جو اُن میں سے بہت سی باتوں کی وضاحت کررہا ہے جن کو تم کتاب هخدا میں سے چھاَپا رہے تھے اور بہت سی باتوں سے درگزر بھی کرتا ہے تمہارے پاس خدا کی طرف سے نور اور روشن کتاب آچکی ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

They indeed have disbelieved who say: Lo! Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary. Say: Who then can do aught against Allah, if He had willed to destroy the Messiah son of Mary, and his mother and everyone on earth? Allah's is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. He createth what He will. And Allah is Able to do all things. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

They are certainly faithless who say, [Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary.] Say, [Who can avail anything against Allah should He wish to destroy the Messiah, son of Mary, and his mother, and everyone upon the earth?] To Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and whatever is between them. He creates whatever He wishes, and Allah has power over all things. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Those who have said that the Messiah, son of Mary, is God, have, in fact, committed themselves to disbelief. (Muhammad), ask them, [Who can prevent God from destroying the Messiah, his mother and all that is in the earth?] To God belongs all that is in the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them. Certainly they disbelieve who say: Surely, Allah-- He is the Messiah, son of Marium. Say: Who then could control anything as against Allah when He wished to destroy the Messiah son of Marium and his mother and all those on the earth? یقینا وہ لوگ کافر ہیں جن کا کہنا یہ ہے کہ مسیح علیھ السّلامابن مریم ہی اللہ ہیں -پیغمبر آپ ان سے کہئے کہ پھر خدا کے مقابلہ میں کون کسی امر کا صاحبِ اختیار ہوگا اگر وہ مسیح علیھ السّلام بن مریم اور ان کی ماں اور سارے اہل زمین کو مار ڈالنا چاہے اور اللہ ہی کے لئے زمین و آسمان اور ان کے درمیان کی کل حکومت ہے -وہ جسے بھی چاہتا ہے پیدا کرتا ہے اور وہ ہر شے پر قدرت رکھنے والا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

یقیناً کفر کیا اُن لوگوں نے جنہوں نے کہا مسیح ابن مریم ہی خدا ہے اے محمدؐ! ان سے کہو کہ اگر خدا مسیح ابن مریم کو اور اس کی ماں اور تمام زمین والوں کو ہلاک کر دینا چاہے تو کس کی مجال ہے کہ اُس کو اِس ارادے سے باز رکھ سکے؟ اللہ تو زمین اور آسمانوں کا اور اُن سب چیزوں کا مالک ہے جو زمین اور آسمانوں کے درمیان پائی جاتی ہیں، جو کچھ چاہتا ہے پیدا کرتا ہے اور اس کی قدرت ہر چیز پر حاوی ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

بیشک کافر ہوئے وہ جنہوں نے کہا کہ اللہ مسیح بن مریم ہی ہے تم فرما دو پھر اللہ کا کوئی کیا کرسکتا ہے اگر وہ چاہے کہ ہلاک کردے مسیح بن مریم اور اس کی ماں اور تمام زمین والوں کو اور اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے سلطنت آسمانوں اور زمین اور ان کے درمیان کی جو چاہے پیدا کرتا ہے، اور اللہ سب کچھ کرسکتا ہے، - Ahmed Raza

The Jews and Christians say: We are sons of Allah and His loved ones. Say: Why then doth He chastise you for your sins? Nay, ye are but mortals of His creating. He forgiveth whom He will, and chastiseth whom He will. Allah's is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and unto Him is the journeying. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O People of the Scripture! Now hath Our messenger come unto you to make things plain unto you after an interval (of cessation) of the messengers, lest ye should say: There came not unto us a messenger of cheer nor any warner. Now hath a messenger of cheer and a warner come unto you. Allah is Able to do all things. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Certainly Our Apostle has come to you, clarifying [the Divine teachings] for you after a gap in [the appearance of] the apostles, lest you should say, [There did not come to us any bearer of good news nor any warner.] Certainly, there has come to you a bearer of good news and a warner. People of the Book, Our Messenger has come to you to guide you at a time when none of Our other Messengers are living among you. (We sent him) so that you will not complain about having no one to tell you of what is good or warn you of what is bad. Now a bearer of good news has come to you. O followers of the Book! indeed Our Apostle has come to you explaining to you after a cessation of the (mission of the) apostles, lest you say: There came not to us a giver of good news or a warner, so indeed there has come to you a giver of good news and a warner; and Allah has power over all things. - Shakir, Habib

People of the Book, Our Messenger has come to you to make things clear to you after an interval between the messengers, lest you say, [No bearer of glad tidings and no warner has come to us.] So a bearer of glad tidings and a warner has indeed come to you. اے کتاب والو! بیشک تمہارے پاس ہمارے یہ رسول تشریف لائے کہ تم پر ہمارے احکام ظاہر فرماتے ہیں بعد اس کے کہ رسولوں کا آنا مدتوں بند رہا تھا کہ کبھی کہو کہ ہمارے پاس کوئی خوشی اور ڈر سنانے والا نہ آیا تو یہ خوشی اور ڈر سنانے والے تمہارے پاس تشریف لائے ہیں، اور اللہ کو سب قدرت ہے، - Ahmed Raza

وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِۦ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَةَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ جَعَلَ فِيكُمْ أَنۢبِيَآءَ وَجَعَلَكُم مُّلُوكًۭا وَءَاتَىٰكُم مَّا لَمْ يُؤْتِ أَحَدًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And (remember) when Moses said unto his people: O my people! Remember Allah's favour unto you, how He placed among you prophets, and He made you kings, and gave you that (which) He gave not to any (other) of (His) creatures. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

When Moses said to his people, [O my people, remember Allah]s blessing upon you when He appointed prophets among you, and made you kings, and gave you what none of the nations were given. - Qarai, Ali Quli

When Moses told his people, [Recall God's favors to you. He made Messengers and Kings out of your own people and gave you what He had not given to others- - Sarwar, Muhammad

And when Musa said to his people: O my people! remember the favor of Allah upon you when He raised prophets among you and made you kings and gave you what He had not given to any other among the nations. - Shakir, Habib

یاد کرو جب موسیٰؑ نے اپنی قوم سے کہا تھا کہ ——اے میری قوم کے لوگو! اللہ کی اُس نعمت کا خیال کرو جو اس نے تمہیں عطا کی تھی اُس نے تم میں نبی پیدا کیے، تم کو فرماں روا بنایا، اور تم کو وہ کچھ دیا جو دنیا میں کسی کو نہ دیا تھا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور جب موسیٰ نے کہا اپنی قوم سے اے میری قوم اللہ کا احسان اپنے اوپر یاد کرو کہ تم میں سے پیغمبر کیے اور تمہیں بادشاہ کیا اور تمہیں وہ دیا جو آج سارے جہان میں کسی کو نہ دیا - Ahmed Raza

يَٰقَوْمِ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْأَرْضَ ٱلْمُقَدَّسَةَ ٱلَّتِى كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَلَا تَرْتَدُّوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَدْبَارِكُمْ فَتَنقَلِبُوا۟ خَٰسِرِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

O my people! Go into the holy land which Allah hath ordained for you. Turn not in flight, for surely ye turn back as losers: - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O my people, enter the Holy Land which Allah has ordained for you, and do not turn your backs, or you will become losers.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

قَالُوا۟ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّ فِيهَا قَوْمًۭا جَبَّارِينَ وَإِنَّا لَن نَّدْخُلَهَا حَتَّىٰ يَخْرُجُوا۟ مِنْهَا فَإِن يَخْرُجُوا۟ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّا دَٰخِلُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

They said: O Moses! Lo! a giant people (dwell) therein and lo! we go not in till they go forth from thence. When they go forth from thence, then we will enter (not till then). - Pickthall, Marmaduke
⦿
They said, [O Moses, there are a tyrannical people in it. We will not enter it until they leave it. But once they leave it, we will go in.] - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
They said, [Moses, a giant race of people is living there. We shall never go there unless they leave the land first. If they leave it then we will enter.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

They said: O Musa! surely there is a strong race in it, and we will on no account enter it until they go out from it, so if they go out from it, then surely we will enter. - Shakir, Habib

They said, [Moses, in that land there is a powerful people. Never shall we enter it until they leave it: if they leave, then we shall certainly enter it.] - Wahiduddin Khan

ان لوگوں نے کہا کہ موسٰی علیھ السّلام وہاں تو جابروں کی قوم آباد ہے اور ہم اس وقت تک داخل نہ ہوں گے جب تک وہ وہاں سے نکل نہ جائیں پھر اگر وہ نکل گئے تو ہم یقینا داخل ہوجائیں گے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

انہوں نے جواب دیا ——اے موسیٰؑ! وہاں تو بڑے زبردست لوگ رہتے ہیں، ہم وہاں ہرگز نہ جائیں گے جب تک وہ وہاں سے نکل نہ جائیں ہاں اگر وہ نکل گئے تو ہم داخل ہونے کے لیے تیار ہیں—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

بولے اے موسیٰ اس میں تو بڑے زبردست لوگ ہیں، اور ہم اس میں ہرگز داخل نہ ہوں گے جب تک وہ وہاں سے نکل نہ جائیں ہاں وہ وہاں سے نکل جائیں تو ہم وہاں جائیں، - Ahmed Raza

انہوں نے (جواب میں) کہا: اے موسیٰ اس زمین میں تو بڑے زبردست (جابر) لوگ رہتے ہیں اور ہم وہاں ہرگز داخل نہیں ہوں گے جب تک وہ وہاں سے نکل نہ جائیں۔ ہاں البتہ اگر وہ وہاں سے نکل جائیں تو پھر ہم ضرور داخل ہو جائیں گے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

قَالَ رَجُلَانِ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ أَنْعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمَا ٱدْخُلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْبَابَ فَإِذَا دَخَلْتُمُوهُ فَإِنَّكُمْ غَٰلِبُونَ ۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَتَوَكَّلُوٓا۟ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Then out spake two of those who feared (their Lord, men) unto whom Allah had been gracious: Enter in upon them by the gate, for if ye enter by it, lo! ye will be victorious. So put your trust (in Allah) if ye are indeed believers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Said two men from among those who were Godfearing and whom Allah had blessed: [Go at them by the gate! For once, you have entered it, you will be victors. Put your trust in Allah, should you be faithful.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

Two God-fearing men on whom God had bestowed favors told them, [Proceed through the gates and when you enter the city you will be victorious. Have trust in God if you are true believers]. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Two men of those who feared, upon both of whom Allah had bestowed a favor, said: Enter upon them by the gate, for when you have entered it you shall surely be victorious, and on Allah should you rely if you are believers. - Shakir, Habib

Thereupon two God-fearing men whom God had blessed said, [Go into them through the gate -- for as soon as you enter, you shall surely be victorious! Put your trust in God if you are true believers.] - Wahiduddin Khan

مگر دو انسان جنہیں خدا کا خوف تھا اور ان پر خدا نے فضل و کرم کیا تھا انہوں نے کہا کہ ان کے دروازے سے داخل ہوجاؤ -اگر تم دروازے میں داخل ہوگئے تو یقینا غالب آجاؤ گے اور اللہ پر بھروسہ کرو اگر تم صاحبانِ ایمان ہو - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اُن ڈرنے والوں میں دو شخص ایسے بھی تھے جن کو اللہ نے اپنی نعمت سے نوازا تھا اُنہوں نے کہا کہ ——ان جباروں کے مقابلہ میں دروازے کے اندر گھس جاؤ، جب تم اندر پہنچ جاؤ گے تو تم ہی غالب رہو گے اللہ پر بھروسہ رکھو اگر تم مومن ہو—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

دو مرد کہ اللہ سے ڈرنے والوں میں سے تھے ا لله نے انہیں نوازا بولے کہ زبردستی دروازے میں ان پر داخل ہو اگر تم دروازے میں داخل ہوگئے تو تمہارا ہی غلبہ ہے اور اللہ ہی پر بھروسہ کرو اگر تمہیں ایمان ہے، - Ahmed Raza

اس وقت دو شخصوں نے جو (اللہ سے) ڈرنے والوں میں سے تھے۔ جنہیں اللہ نے (خصوصی) نعمت سے نوازا تھا۔ کہا۔ کہ تم ان (جباروں) پر چڑھائی کرکے دروازہ کے اندر گھس جاؤ اور جب تم اس کے اندر داخل ہوگے (تو وہ بھاگ کھڑے ہوں گے اور) تم غالب آجاؤگے اور اللہ پر بھروسہ کرو اگر تم ایمان دار ہو۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

They said: O Moses! We will never enter (the land) while they are in it. So go thou and thy Lord and fight! We will sit here. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

They said, [O Moses, we will never enter it so long as they remain in it. Go ahead, you and your Lord, and fight! We will be sitting right here.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

They said, [(Moses), as long as they are in the land, we shall never go there. Go with your Lord to fight them but we shall stay where we are]. - Sarwar, Muhammad

They said: O Musa! we shall never enter it so long as they are in it; go therefore you and your Lord, then fight you both surely we will here sit down. - Shakir, Habib

They said, [We will never enter it, Moses, as long as they are there. Go, you and your Lord, and fight, and we will stay here.] - Wahiduddin Khan

بولے اے موسیٰ ہم تو وہاں کبھی نہ جائیں گے جب تک وہ وہاں ہیں تو آپ جائیے اور آپ کا رب تم دونوں لڑو ہم یہاں بیٹھے ہیں، - Ahmed Raza

موسیٰ نے عرض کی کہ اے رب! میرے مجھے اختیار نہیں مگر اپنا اور اپنے بھائی کا تو تو ہم کو ان بے حکموں سے جدا رکھ - Ahmed Raza

(Their Lord) said: For this the land will surely be forbidden them for forty years that they will wander in the earth, bewildered. So grieve not over the wrongdoing folk. - Pickthall, Marmaduke
