تَرَى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ مُشْفِقِينَ مِمَّا كَسَبُوا۟ وَهُوَ وَاقِعٌۢ بِهِمْ ۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فِى رَوْضَاتِ ٱلْجَنَّاتِ ۖ لَهُم مَّا يَشَآءُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَضْلُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ

⦿

Thou seest the wrong-doers fearful of that which they have earned, and it will surely befall them, while those who believe and do good works (will be) in flowering meadows of the Gardens, having what they wish from their Lord. This is the great preferment.

When it is about to befall them, You will see the wrongdoers fearful because of what they have earned; but those who have faith and do righteous deeds will be in the gardens of paradise: they will have whatever they wish near their Lord. That is the mighty grace.

You can see that the unjust are afraid of the consequences of their deeds which will inevitably strike them. However, the righteously striving believers will live in the gardens wherein they will have whatever they want from their Lord. This is certainly the greatest reward.

You will see the unjust fearing on account of what they have earned, and it must befall them; and those who believe and do good shall be in the meadows of the gardens; they shall have what they please with their Lord: that is the great grace.

You will see the wrongdoers fearful of the consequences of their deeds, which will be inescapable. Whereas, those who have believed and done righteous deeds, will be in the meadows of the Garden and shall have whatever they desire from their Lord. That will be the supreme favour.

آپ دیکھیں گے کہ ظالمین اپنے کرتوت کے عذاب سے خوفزدہ ہیں اور وہ ان پر بہرحال نازل ہونے والا ہے اور جو لوگ ایمان لے آئے اور انہوں نے نیک اعمال کئے ہیں وہ جنّت کے باغات میں رہیں گے اور ان کے لئے پروردگار کی بارگاہ میں وہ تمام چیزیں ہیں جن کے وہ خواہشمند ہوں گے اور یہ ایک بہت بڑا فضل پروردگار ہے

تم دیکھو گے کہ یہ ظالم اُس وقت اپنے کیے کے انجام سے ڈر رہے ہوں گے اور وہ اِن پر آ کر رہے گا بخلاف اِس کے جو لوگ ایمان لے آئے ہیں اور جنہوں نے نیک عمل کیے ہیں وہ جنت کے گلستانوں میں ہوں گے، جو کچھ بھی وہ چاہیں گے اپنے رب کے ہاں پائیں گے، یہی بڑا فضل ہے

تم ظالموں کو دیکھو گے کہ اپنی کمائیوں سے سہمے ہوئے ہوں گے اور وہ ان پر پڑ کر رہیں گی اور جو ایمان لائے اور اچھے کام کیے وہ جنت کی پھلواریوں میں ہیں، ان کے لیے ان کے رب کے پاس ہے جو چاہیں، یہی بڑا فضل ہے،

تم ظالموں کو دیکھو گے کہ وہ اپنے کئے ہوئے کاموں (کے انجام) سے ڈر رہے ہوں گے اور وہ (وبال) ان پر پڑ کر رہے گا اور جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور انہوں نے نیک عمل بھی کئے وہ بہشتوں کے باغوں میں ہوں گے وہ جو کچھ چاہیں گے اپنے پروردگار کے ہاں سے پائیں گے یہی بڑا فضل ہے۔

ذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يُبَشِّرُ ٱللَّهُ عِبَادَهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ ۗ قُل لَّآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا إِلَّا ٱلْمَوَدَّةَ فِى ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ ۗ وَمَن يَقْتَرِفْ حَسَنَةًۭ نَّزِدْ لَهُۥ فِيهَا حُسْنًا ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌۭ شَكُورٌ

⦿

This it is which Allah announceth unto His bondmen who believe and do good works. Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee therefor, save lovingkindness among kinsfolk. And whoso scoreth a good deed We add unto its good for him. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Responsive.

Such is the good news that Allah gives to His servants who have faith and do righteous deeds! Say, [I do not ask you any reward for it except the love of [my] relatives.] Whoever performs a good deed, We shall enhance its goodness for him. Indeed Allah is all-forgiving, all-appreciative.

This is the glad news which God gives to His servants, the righteously striving believers. (Muhammad), say, [I do not ask you for any payment for my preaching to you except (your) love of (my near) relatives.] Whoever achieves virtue will have its merit increased. God is All-forgiving and Appreciating.

That is of which Allah gives the good news to His servants, (to) those who believe and do good deeds. Say: I do not ask of you any reward for it but love for my near relatives; and whoever earns good, We give him more of good therein; surely Allah is Forgiving, Grateful.

These are the glad tidings which God gives to His servants who believe and do righteous deeds. Say, [I do not ask of you any reward for it, except [that I am inviting you to God because of] love of kinship.] Whoever earns a good deed, We shall increase its good for him; God is most forgiving, most appreciative.

یہی وہ فضلِ عظیم ہے جس کی بشارت پروردگار اپنے بندوں کو دیتا ہے جنہوں نے ایمان اختیار کیا ہے اور نیک اعمال کئے ہیں تو آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ میں تم سے اس تبلیغ رسالت کا کوئی اجر نہیں چاہتا علاوہ اس کے کہ میرے اقربا سے محبت کرو اور جو شخص بھی کوئی نیکی حاصل کرے گا ہم اس کی نیکی میں اضافہ کردیں گے کہ بیشک اللہ بہت زیادہ بخشنے والا اور قدرداں ہے

یہ ہے وہ چیز جس کی خوش خبری اللہ اپنے اُن بندوں کو دیتا ہے جنہوں نے مان لیا اور نیک عمل کیے اے نبیؐ، اِن لوگوں سے کہہ دو کہ میں اِس کام پر تم سے کسی اجر کا طالب نہیں ہوں، البتہ قرابت کی محبت ضرور چاہتا ہوں جو کوئی بھلائی کمائے گا ہم اس کے لیے اس بھلائی میں خوبی کا اضافہ کر دیں گے بے شک اللہ بڑا در گزر کرنے والا اور قدر دان ہے

یہ ہے وہ جس کی خوشخبری دیتا ہے اللہ اپنے بندوں کو جو ایمان لائے اور اچھے کام کیے، تم فرماؤ میں اس پر تم سے کچھ اجرت نہیں مانگتا مگر قرابت کی محبت اور جو نیک کام کرے ہم اس کے لیے اس میں اور خوبی بڑھائیں، بیشک اللہ بخشنے والا قدر فرمانے والا ہے،

یہ وہ بات ہے جس کی خوشخبری خدا اپنے ان بندوں کو دیتا ہے جو ایمان لائے اور نیک اعمال بھی کئے آپ(ص) کہیے کہ میں تم سے اس(تبلیغ و رسالت) پر کوئی معاوضہ نہیں مانگتا سوائے اپنے قرابتداروں کی محبت کے اورجو کوئی نیک کام کرے گا ہم اسکی نیکی میں اضافہ کردیں گے یقیناً اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا(اور) بڑا قدردان ہے۔

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًۭا ۖ فَإِن يَشَإِ ٱللَّهُ يَخْتِمْ عَلَىٰ قَلْبِكَ ۗ وَيَمْحُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْبَٰطِلَ وَيُحِقُّ ٱلْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ

⦿

Or say they: He hath invented a lie concerning Allah? If Allah willed, He could have sealed thy heart (against them). And Allah will wipe out the lie and will vindicate the truth by His words. Lo! He is Aware of what is hidden in the breasts (of men).

⦿

Do they say, [He has fabricated a lie against Allah]? If so, should Allah wish He would set a seal on your heart, and Allah will efface the falsehood and confirm the truth with His words. Indeed He knows well what is in the breasts.

Do they say that he, (Muhammad), has invented falsehood against God? Had God wanted, He could have sealed up your heart. God causes falsehood to vanish and, by His words, firmly establishes the truth. He has full knowledge of what the hearts contain.

Or do they say: He has forged a lie against Allah? But if Allah pleased, He would seal your heart; and Allah will blot out the falsehood and confirm the truth with His words; surely He is Cognizant of what is in the breasts.

Do they say, [He has invented a lie about God]? If God so willed, He could seal your heart. God wipes out falsehood and vindicates the truth by His words. He has full knowledge of what is in men's hearts --

کیا ان لوگوں کا کہنا یہ ہے کہ رسول, اللہ پر جھوٹے بہتان باندھتا ہے جب کہ خدا چاہے تو تمہارے قلب پر بھی مہر لگا سکتا ہے اور خدا تو باطل کو مٹا دیتا ہے اور حق کو اپنے کلمات کے ذریعہ ثابت اور پائیدار بنادیتا ہے یقینا وہ دلوں کے رازوں کا جاننے والا ہے

کیا یہ لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ اِس شخص نے اللہ پر جھوٹا بہتان گھڑ لیا ہے؟ اگر اللہ چاہے تو تمہارے دل پر مہر کر دے وہ باطل کو مٹا دیتا ہے اور حق کو اپنے فرمانوں سے حق کر دکھاتا ہے وہ سینوں کے چھپے ہوئے راز جانتا ہے

یا یہ کہتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے اللہ پر جھوٹ باندھ لیا اور اللہ چاہے تو تمہارے اوپر اپنی رحمت و حفاظت کی مہر فرمادے اور مٹا تا ہے باطل کو اور حق کو ثابت فرماتا ہے اپنی باتوں سے بیشک وہ دلوں کی باتیں جانتا ہے،

کیا وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اس(رسول(ص)) نے خدا پر جھوٹا بہتان باندھا ہے اگر اللہ چاہے تو تمہارے دل پر مہر لگا دے اور اللہ باطل کو مٹا دیتا ہے اور حق کو اپنی باتوں سے حق ثابت کرتا ہے بےشک وہ سینوں کی چھپی ہوئی باتوں (رازوں) کو خوب جانتا ہے۔ وہ وہی ہے جو اپنے بندوں کو خوب جانتا ہے۔

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى يَقْبَلُ ٱلتَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَعْفُوا۟ عَنِ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ

⦿

And He it is Who accepteth repentance from His bondmen, and pardoneth the evil deeds, and knoweth what ye do,

It is He who accepts the repentance of His servants, and excuses their misdeeds and knows what you do.

اور وہی ہے جو اپنے بندوں کی توبہ قبول فرماتا اور گناہوں سے درگزر فرماتا ہے اور جانتا ہے جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو،

اور اللہ اپنے بندوں کی توبہ قبول کرتا ہے اور برائیوں کو معاف کرتا ہے اور وہ جانتا ہے جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو۔

Consultation [ 42:26 ] الشورى

وَيَسْتَجِيبُ

And He responds to

ٱلَّذِينَ

the ones who

ءَامَنُوا۟

have trust

وَعَمِلُوا۟

and did

ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ

the constructive things,

وَيَزِيدُهُم

and He increases them

مِّن

from

فَضْلِهِۦ

His grace;

وَٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ

and the ones who are in denial

لَهُمْ

for them is

عَذَابٌۭ

a punishment

شَدِيدٌۭ

that is intense.

٤٢

٢٦

وَيَسْتَجِيبُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَيَزِيدُهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِۦ ۚ وَٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ شَدِيدٌۭ

And He responds to the ones who have trust and did the constructive things, and He increases them from His grace; and the ones who are in denial for them is a punishment that is intense.

⦿

And accepteth those who do good works, and giveth increase unto them of His bounty. And as for disbelievers, theirs will be an awful doom.

He answers [the supplications of] those who have faith and do righteous deeds and enhances them out of His grace. But as for the faithless, there is a severe punishment for them.

He answers the prayers of the righteously striving believers and grants them increasing favors. The unbelievers will suffer a severe punishment.

اور جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور انہوں نے نیک اعمال کئے وہی دعوت الٰہٰی کو قبول کرتے ہیں اور خدا اپنے فضل و کرم سے ان کے اجر میں اضافہ کردیتا ہے اور کافرین کے لئے تو بڑا سخت عذاب رکھا گیا ہے

وہ ایمان لانے والوں اور نیک عمل کرنے والوں کی دعا قبول کرتا ہے اور اپنے فضل سے ان کو اور زیادہ دیتا ہے رہے انکار کرنے والے، تو ان کے لیے دردناک سزا ہے

اور دعا قبول فرماتا ہے ان کی جو ایمان لائے اور اچھے کام کیے اور انہیں اپنے فضل سے اور انعام دیتا ہے، اور کافروں کے لیے سخت عذاب ہے،

اور وہ ان لوگوں کی دعائیں قبول کرتا ہے جو ایمان لائے اور نیک عمل بھی کئے اورانہیں اپنے فضل و کرم سے اور زیادہ عطا کرتا ہے اور کافروں کیلئے سخت عذاب ہے۔

وَلَوْ بَسَطَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِعِبَادِهِۦ لَبَغَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَٰكِن يُنَزِّلُ بِقَدَرٍۢ مَّا يَشَآءُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ بِعِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرٌۢ بَصِيرٌۭ

⦿

And if Allah were to enlarge the provision for His slaves they would surely rebel in the earth, but He sendeth down by measure as He willeth. Lo! He is Informed, a Seer of His bondmen.

Were Allah to expand the provision for [all] His servants, they would surely create havoc on the earth. But He sends down in a [precise] measure whatever He wishes. Indeed, He is all-aware, all-seeing about His servants.

⦿

Had God given abundant sustenance to His servants, they would have certainly rebelled on earth, but He sends them a known measure of sustenance as He wills. He is All-aware of His servants and watches over them all.

⦿

And if Allah should amplify the provision for His servants they would certainly revolt in the earth; but He sends it down according to a measure as He pleases; surely He is Aware of, Seeing, His servants.

If God were to grant His abundant provision to [all] His creatures, they would act insolently on earth, but He sends down in due measure whatever He will, for He is well aware of His servants and watchful over them:

And of His portents is the creation of the heaven and the earth, and of whatever beasts He hath dispersed therein. And He is Able to gather them when He will.

Whatever of misfortune striketh you, it is what your right hands have earned. And He forgiveth much.

This website is a work of passion. It exists only for a couple of reasons:

1) I wanted to understand the Book without involving any second-party sources of guidance i.e. exegesis, or Asbab-e-Nuzul, or extra-Quranic ahadith, etc.
2) You must also know what the bare truth is, so we can work together.
