قُلْ
Say,
أَئِنَّكُمْ
[Is it so, that you
لَتَكْفُرُونَ
are denying
بِٱلَّذِى
about the Entity who
خَلَقَ
created
ٱلْأَرْضَ
the land
فِى
within
يَوْمَيْنِ
periods,
وَتَجْعَلُونَ
and you place
لَهُۥٓ
for Him
أَندَادًۭا
rivals?
ۚ
ذَٰلِكَ
That is
رَبُّ
Rabb of
ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
all the states of being!]
٤١
٩
قُلْ أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَكْفُرُونَ بِٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْأَرْضَ فِى يَوْمَيْنِ وَتَجْعَلُونَ لَهُۥٓ أَندَادًۭا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ رَبُّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ Say, [Is it so, that you are denying about the Entity who created the land within periods, and you place for Him rivals? That is Rabb of all the states of being!]

Say (O Muhammad, unto the idolaters): Disbelieve ye verily in Him Who created the earth in two Days, and ascribe ye unto Him rivals? He (and none else) is the Lord of the Worlds. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

He placed therein firm hills rising above it, and blessed it and measured therein its sustenance in four Days, alike for (all) who ask; - Pickthall, Marmaduke

He set in it firm mountains, [rising] above it, blessed it, and ordained in it, in four days, [various] means of sustenance, equally for all seekers. - Qarai, Ali Quli

اُس نے (زمین کو وجود میں لانے کے بعد) اوپر سے اس پر پہاڑ جما دیے اور اس میں برکتیں رکھ دیں اور اس کے اندر سب مانگنے والوں کے لیے ہر ایک کی طلب و حاجت کے مطابق ٹھیک اندازے سے خوراک کا سامان مہیا کر دیا یہ سب کام چار دن میں ہو گئے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

Then turned He to the heaven when it was smoke, and said unto it and unto the earth: Come both of you, willingly or loth. They said: We come, obedient. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Then He turned to the heaven, and it was smoke, and He said to it and to the earth, [Come, willingly or unwillingly!] They said, [We come obediently.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

فَقَضَىٰهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَٰوَاتٍۢ فِى يَوْمَيْنِ وَأَوْحَىٰ فِى كُلِّ سَمَآءٍ أَمْرَهَا ۚ وَزَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِمَصَٰبِيحَ وَحِفْظًۭا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Then He ordained them seven heavens in two Days and inspired in each heaven its mandate; and We decked the nether heaven with lamps, and rendered it inviolable. That is the measuring of the Mighty, the Knower. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Then He set them up as seven heavens in two days, and revealed [to the angels] in each heaven its ordinance. We have adorned the lowest heaven with lamps, and guarded them. That is the ordaining of the All-mighty, the All-knowing. - Qarai, Ali Quli

تو انہیں پورے سات آسمان کردیا دو دن میں اور ہر آسمان میں اسی کے کام کے احکام بھیجے اور ہم نے نیچے کے آسمان کو چراغوں سے آراستہ کیا اور نگہبانی کے لیے یہ اس عزت والے علم والے کا ٹھہرایا ہوا ہے، - Ahmed Raza

But if they turn away, then say: I warn you of a thunderbolt like the thunderbolt (which fell of old upon the tribes) of A'ad and Thamud; - Pickthall, Marmaduke

But if they turn away, say, [I warn you of a thunderbolt, like the thunderbolt of [Ad and Thamud.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

If they ignore (your message), tell them, [I have warned you against a destructive blast of sound like that which struck the people of `Ad and Thamud. - Sarwar, Muhammad

But if they turn aside, then say: I have warned you of a scourge like the scourge of Ad and Samood. - Shakir, Habib

If they turn away, then say, [I warn you of a lightning-bolt like the one which struck the 'Ad and the Thamud: - Wahiduddin Khan

پھر اگر یہ اعراض کریں تو کہہ دیجئے کہ ہم نے تم کو ویسی ہی بجلی کے عذاب سے ڈرایا ہے جیسی قوم عاد و ثمود پر نازل ہوئی تھی - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اب اگر یہ لوگ منہ موڑتے ہیں تو اِن سے کہہ دو کہ میں تم کو اُسی طرح کے ایک اچانک ٹوٹ پڑنے والے عذاب سے ڈراتا ہوں جیسا عاد اور ثمود پر نازل ہوا تھا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

پھر اگر وہ منہ پھیریں تو تم فرماؤ کہ میں تمہیں ڈراتا ہوں ایک کڑ ک سے جیسی کڑ ک عاد اور ثمود پر آئی تھی - Ahmed Raza

پس اگر یہ لوگ روگردانی کریں تو آپ(ص) کہہ دیجئے! کہ میں نے تو تمہیں اس (آسمانی) کڑک سے ڈرا دیا ہے جو عاد والی کڑک کی مانند ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

As for A'ad, they were arrogant in the land without right, and they said: Who is mightier than us in power? Could they not see that Allah Who created them, He was mightier than them in power? And they denied Our revelations. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

As for [the people of] [Ad, they acted arrogantly in the earth unduly, and they said, [Who is more powerful than us?] Did they not see that Allah, who created them, is more powerful than them? They used to impugn Our signs; - Qarai, Ali Quli

The people of Ad unjustly sought dominance on earth saying, [Who is more powerful than us?] Did they not consider that God created them and that He is more powerful than they were?] They rejected Our revelations. - Sarwar, Muhammad

so We unleashed upon them an icy gale during ill-fated days, in order that We might make them taste a humiliating punishment in the life of the world. Yet the punishment of the Hereafter will be surely more disgraceful, and they will not be helped. - Qarai, Ali Quli

And as for Thamud, We gave them guidance, but they preferred blindness to the guidance, so the bolt of the doom of humiliation overtook them because of what they used to earn. - Pickthall, Marmaduke
