As for those who believe in Allah, and hold fast unto Him, them He will cause to enter into His mercy and grace, and will guide them unto Him by a straight road. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

They ask thee for a pronouncement. Say: Allah hath pronounced for you concerning distant kindred. If a man die childless and he have a sister, hers is half the heritage, and he would have inherited from her had she died childless. And if there be two sisters, then theirs are two-thirds of the heritage, and if they be brethren, men and women, unto the male is the equivalent of the share of two females. Allah expoundeth unto you, so that ye err not. Allah is Knower of all things. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

They ask you for a ruling. Say, [Allah gives you a ruling concerning the kalalah: If a man dies and has no children [or parents], but has a sister, for her shall be a half of what he leaves, and he shall inherit from her if she has no children. If there be two sisters, then they shall receive two-thirds of what he leaves. But if there be [several] brothers and sisters, then for the male shall be the like of the share of two females. Allah explains [the laws] for you lest you should go astray, and Allah has knowledge of all things.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

(Muhammad), they seek your verdict. Tell them, [God commands this concerning your kindred: If a man dies childless but has a sister, she will receive half of the legacy. If a woman dies childless, her brother will receive the whole legacy. If a childless man leaves only two sisters, both will receive two-thirds of the legacy. If the heirs are both sisters and brothers, the share of a male will be twice as much as the share of the female. God explains His Laws to you so that you will not go astray. They ask you for a decision of the law. Say: Allah gives you a decision concerning the person who has neither parents nor offspring; if a man dies (and) he has no son and he has a sister, she shall have half of what he leaves, and he shall be her heir she has no son; but if there be two (sisters), they shall have two-thirds of what he leaves; and if there are brethren, men and women, then the male shall have the like of the portion of two females; Allah makes clear to you, lest you err; and Allah knows all things. - Shakir, Habib

پیغمبر یہ لوگ آپ سے فتوٰی دریافت کرتے ہیں تو آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ کلالہ (بھائی بہن)کے بارے میں خدا خود یہ حکم بیان کرتا ہے کہ اگر کوئی شخص مر جائے اور اس کی اولاد نہ ہو اور صرف بہن وارث ہو تو اسے ترکہ کا نصف ملے گا اور اسی طرح اگر بہن مر جائے اور اس کی اولاد نہ ہو تو بھائی اس کا وارث ہوگا -پھر اگر وارث دو بہنیں ہیں تو انہیں ترکہ کا دو تہائی ملے گا اور اگر بھائی بہن دونوں ہیں تو مرد کے لئے عورت کا رَہرا حصّہ ہوگا خدا یہ سب واضح کررہا ہے تاکہ تم بہکنے نہ پاؤ اور خدا ہر شے کا خوب جاننے والا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

لوگ تم سے کلالہ کے معاملہ میں فتویٰ پوچھتے ہیں کہو اللہ تمہیں فتویٰ دیتا ہے اگر کوئی شخص بے اولاد مر جائے اور اس کی ایک بہن ہو تو وہ اس کے ترکہ میں سے نصف پائے گی، اور اگر بہن بے اولاد مرے تو بھائی اس کا وارث ہوگا اگر میت کی وارث دو بہنیں ہوں تو وہ ترکے میں سے دو تہائی کی حقدار ہوں گی، اور اگر کئی بھائی بہنیں ہوں تو عورتوں کا اکہرا اور مردوں کا دوہرا حصہ ہوگا اللہ تمہارے لیے احکام کی توضیح کرتا ہے تاکہ تم بھٹکتے نہ پھرو اور اللہ ہر چیز کا علم رکھتا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اے محبوب! تم سے فتویٰ پوچھتے ہیں تم فرمادو کہ اللہ تمہیں کلالہ میں فتویٰ دیتا ہے، اگر کسی مرد کا انتقال ہو جو بے اولاد ہے اور اس کی ایک بہن ہو تو ترکہ میں اس کی بہن کا آدھا ہے اور مرد اپنی بہن کا وارث ہوگا اگر بہن کی اولاد نہ ہو پھر اگر دو بہنیں ہوں ترکہ میں ان کا دو تہائی اور اگر بھائی بہن ہوں مرد بھی اور عورتیں بھی تو مرد کا حصہ دو عورتوں کے برابر، ا لله تمہارے لئے صاف بیان فرماتا ہے کہ کہیں بہک نہ جاؤ، اور اللہ ہرچیز جانتا ہے، - Ahmed Raza

اے رسول یہ لوگ آپ سے فتویٰ پوچھتے ہیں۔ کہہ دیجیے! کہ اللہ تمہیں کلالہ کے بارے میں فتویٰ دیتا ہے کہ اگر کوئی ایسا شخص مر جائے جس کی اولاد نہ ہو اور اس کی ایک بہن ہو تو اس کا آدھا ترکہ اس کا ہوگا۔ اور اگر وہ (بہن) مر جائے اور اس کی کوئی اولاد نہ ہو (اور ایک بھائی ہو) تو وہ اس کے پورے ترکہ کا وارث ہوگا۔ اور اگر کسی مرنے والے کی دو بہنیں ہوں تو ان کا اس کے ترکہ میں سے دو تہائی حصہ ہوگا۔ اور اگر کئی بھائی بہن ہوں یعنی مرد عورت دونوں ہوں تو ایک مرد کو دو عورتوں کے برابر حصہ ملے گا۔ اللہ تعالیٰ تمہارے لئے کھول کر احکام بیان کرتا ہے۔ تاکہ تم گمراہ نہ ہو اور اللہ ہر چیز کا بڑا جاننے والا ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
