وَرَفَعْنَا
And We raised
فَوْقَهُمُ
above them
ٱلطُّورَ
the endeavour
بِمِيثَٰقِهِمْ
through their covenant
وَقُلْنَا
and We said
لَهُمُ
to them,
ٱدْخُلُوا۟
[Enter
ٱلْبَابَ
the doors
سُجَّدًۭا
as executioners of command.]
وَقُلْنَا
and We said
لَهُمْ
to them,
لَا
[Do not
تَعْدُوا۟
transgress
فِى
in
ٱلسَّبْتِ
the laziness.]
وَأَخَذْنَا
and We took
مِنْهُم
from them
مِّيثَٰقًا
a ratification
غَلِيظًۭا
that was strong.
٤
١٥٤
وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَهُمُ ٱلطُّورَ بِمِيثَٰقِهِمْ وَقُلْنَا لَهُمُ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْبَابَ سُجَّدًۭا وَقُلْنَا لَهُمْ لَا تَعْدُوا۟ فِى ٱلسَّبْتِ وَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُم مِّيثَٰقًا غَلِيظًۭا And We raised above them the endeavour through their covenant and We said to them, [Enter the doors as executioners of command.] and We said to them, [Do not transgress in the laziness.] and We took from them a ratification that was strong.

And We caused the Mount to tower above them at (the taking of) their covenant: and We bade them: Enter the gate, prostrate! and We bode them: Transgress not the Sabbath! and We took from them a firm covenant. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And We raised the Mount above them for the sake of their covenant, and We said to them, [Enter the gate prostrating] and We said to them, [Do not violate the Sabbath,] and We took from them a solemn covenant. - Qarai, Ali Quli

We raised Mount (Sinai) above them because of Our solemn promise to them. Also, We told them to prostrate themselves when entering the gate (of the holy house) and not to commit transgression on the Sabbath. We made a solemn covenant with them. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And We lifted the mountain (Sainai) over them at (the taking of the covenant) and We said to them: Enter the door making obeisance; and We said to them: Do not exceed the limits of the Sabbath, and We made with them a firm covenant. - Shakir, Habib

And We raised above them the Mount, while making a covenant with them, and We said to them. [Enter the gate humbly,] and We also commanded them, [Transgress not in the matter of the Sabbath.] We took from them a firm covenant. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور ہم نے ان کے عہد کی خلاف ورزی کی بنا پر ان کے سروں پر کوئہ طور کو بلند کردیا اور ان سے کہا کہ دروازہ سے سجدہ کرتے ہوئے داخل ہو اور ان سے کہا کہ خبردار شنبہ کے معاملہ میں زیادتی نہ کرنا اور ان سے بڑا سخت عہد لے لیا - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور اِن لوگوں پر طور کو اٹھا کر اِن سے (اُس فرمان کی اطاعت کا) عہد لیا ہم نے اِن کو حکم دیا کہ دروازے میں سجدہ ریز ہوتے ہوئے داخل ہوں ہم نے اِن سے کہا کہ سبت کا قانون نہ توڑو اوراس پر اِن سے پختہ عہد لیا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

پھر ہم نے ان پر طور کو اونچا کیا ان سے عہد لینے کو اور ان سے فرمایا کہ دروازے میں سجدہ کرتے داخل ہو اور ان سے فرمایا کہ ہفتہ میں حد سے نہ بڑھو اور ہم نے ان سے گاڑھا عہد لیا - Ahmed Raza

فَبِمَا
Thus so due to
نَقْضِهِم
their breaking of
مِّيثَٰقَهُمْ
their ratification
وَكُفْرِهِم
and their denial
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
about the verses of
ٱللَّهِ
the One,
وَقَتْلِهِمُ
and their murdering of
ٱلْأَنۢبِيَآءَ
the revolutionary leaders
بِغَيْرِ
without
حَقٍّۢ
right,
وَقَوْلِهِمْ
while they asserted,
قُلُوبُنَا
[Our hearts are
غُلْفٌۢ
protected],
ۚ
بَلْ
when in fact
طَبَعَ
has impressed
ٱللَّهُ
the One
عَلَيْهَا
upon their hearts
بِكُفْرِهِمْ
due to their denial,
فَلَا
hence not
يُؤْمِنُونَ
they will be convinced
إِلَّا
except
قَلِيلًۭا
a few.
٤
١٥٥
فَبِمَا نَقْضِهِم مِّيثَٰقَهُمْ وَكُفْرِهِم بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَقَتْلِهِمُ ٱلْأَنۢبِيَآءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّۢ وَقَوْلِهِمْ قُلُوبُنَا غُلْفٌۢ ۚ بَلْ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهَا بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًۭا Thus so due to their breaking of their ratification and their denial about the verses of the One, and their murdering of the revolutionary leaders without right, while they asserted, [Our hearts are protected], when in fact has impressed the One upon their hearts due to their denial, hence not they will be convinced except a few.

Then because of their breaking of their covenant, and their disbelieving in the revelations of Allah, and their slaying of the prophets wrongfully, and their saying: Our hearts are hardened - Nay, but Allah set a seal upon them for their disbelief, so that they believe not save a few - - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Then because of their breaking their covenant, their defiance of Allah]s signs, their killing of the prophets unjustly and for their saying, [Our hearts are uncircumcised]… Indeed, Allah has set a seal on them for their unfaith, so they do not have faith except a few. - Qarai, Ali Quli

However, because of their disbelief, disregard of their covenant, denial of God's revelations, murdering the Prophets without reason, and their saying that their hearts were covered, We sealed up their hearts. Only a few of them believe. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Therefore, for their breaking their covenant and their disbelief in the communications of Allah and their killing the prophets wrongfully and their saying: Our hearts are covered; nay! Allah set a seal upon them owing to their unbelief, so they shall not believe except a few. - Shakir, Habib

But they broke their covenant; and they rejected the signs of God; and put the prophets to death without justification, and said, [Our hearts are sealed.] It is God who has sealed their hearts, on account of their denial of the truth. Except for a few of them, they have no faith. - Wahiduddin Khan

پس ان کے عہد کو توڑ دینے ,آیات هخدا کے انکار کرنے اور انبیائ کو ناحق قتل کر دینے اور یہ کہنے کی بنا پر کہ ہمارے دلوں پر فطرتا غلاف چڑھے ہوئے ہیں حالانکہ ایسا نہیں ہے بلکہ خدا نے ان کے کفر کی بنا پر ان کے دلوں پر مہر لگادی ہے اور اب چند ایک کے علاوہ کوئی ایمان نہ لائے گا - Jawadi, Zeeshan

آخر کا ر اِن کی عہد شکنی کی وجہ سے، اور اس وجہ سے کہ انہوں نے اللہ کی آیات کو جھٹلایا، اور متعدد پیغمبروں کو نا حق قتل کیا، اور یہاں تک کہا کہ ہمارے دل غلافوں میں محفوظ ہیں حالانکہ در حقیقت اِن کی باطل پرستی کے سبب سے اللہ نے اِن کے دلوں پر ٹھپہ لگا دیا ہے اور اسی وجہ سے یہ بہت کم ایمان لاتے ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

تو ان کی کیسی بدعہدیوں کے سبب ہم نے ان پر لعنت کی اور اس لئے کہ وہ آیات الٰہی کے منکر ہوئے اور انبیاء کو ناحق شہید کرتے اور ان کے اس کہنے پر کہ ہمارے دلوں پر غلاف ہیں بلکہ اللہ نے ان کے کفر کے سبب ان کے دلوں پر مہر لگادی ہے تو ایمان نہیں لاتے مگر تھوڑے، - Ahmed Raza

سو (ان کو جو سزا ملی وہ) ان کے عہد شکنی کرنے، آیاتِ الٰہیہ کا انکار کرنے، نبیوں کو ناحق قتل کرنے اور ان کے اس کہنے کی وجہ سے کہ ہمارے دلوں پر غلاف چڑھے ہوئے ہیں۔ بلکہ ان کے کفر کی وجہ سے اللہ نے ان کے (دلوں) پر مہر لگا دی ہے۔ اس لیے وہ بہت کم ایمان لائیں گے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

And due to their denial
وَقَوْلِهِمْ
and them asserting
عَلَىٰ

مَرْيَمَ
Maryam
بُهْتَٰنًا
a slander
عَظِيمًۭا
of great magnitude.
And due to their denial and them asserting upon Maryam a slander of great magnitude.

And because of their disbelief and of their speaking against Mary a tremendous calumny; - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And for their faithlessness, and their uttering a monstrous calumny against Mary, - Qarai, Ali Quli

Their hearts were also sealed because of their lack of faith, their gravely slanderous accusation against Mary, - Sarwar, Muhammad

And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah's messenger - they slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

and for their saying, [We killed the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, the apostle of Allah]—though they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but so it was made to appear to them. Indeed those who differ concerning him are surely in doubt about him: they do not have any knowledge of that beyond following conjectures, and certainly, they did not kill him. - Qarai, Ali Quli

and their statement that they murdered Jesus, son of Mary, the Messenger of God, when, in fact, they could not have murdered him or crucified him. They, in fact, murdered someone else by mistake. Even those who disputed (the question of whether or not Jesus was murdered) did not have a shred of evidence. All that they knew about it was mere conjecture. They certainly could not have murdered Jesus. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And their saying: Surely we have killed the Messiah, Isa son of Marium, the apostle of Allah; and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them so (like Isa) and most surely those who differ therein are only in a doubt about it; they have no knowledge respecting it, but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him not for sure. - Shakir, Habib

They declared, [We have put to death the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the Messenger of God.] They did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but it only seemed to them [as if it had been so]. اور یہ کہنے کی بنا پر کہ ہم نے مسیح عیسٰی علیھ السّلام بن مریم رسول اللہ کو قتل کردیا ہے حالانکہ انہوں نے نہ انہیں قتل کیا ہے اور نہ سولی دی ہے بلکہ دوسرے کو ان کی شبہیہ بنا دیا گیا تھا اور جن لوگوں نے عیسٰی علیھ السّلام کے بارے میں اختلاف کیا ہے وہ سب منزل ه شک میں ہیں اور کسی کو گمان کی پیروی کے علاوہ کوئی علم نہیں ہے اور انہوں نے یقینا انہیں قتل نہیں کیا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور خود کہا کہ ہم نے مسیح، عیسیٰ ابن مریم، رسول اللہ کو قتل کر دیا ہے حالانکہ فی الواقع انہوں نے نہ اس کو قتل کیا نہ صلیب پر چڑھایا بلکہ معاملہ ان کے لیے مشتبہ کر دیا گیا اور جن لوگوں نے اس کے بارے میں اختلاف کیا ہے وہ بھی دراصل شک میں مبتلا ہیں، ان کے پاس اس معاملہ میں کوئی علم نہیں ہے، محض گمان ہی کی پیروی ہے انہوں نے مسیح کو یقین کے ساتھ قتل نہیں کیا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور ان کے اس کہنے پر کہ ہم نے مسیح عیسیٰ بن مریم اللہ کے رسول کو شہید کیا اور ہے یہ کہ انہوں نے نہ اسے قتل کیا اور نہ اسے سولی دی بلکہ ان کے لئے ان کی شبیہ کا ایک بنادیا گیا اور وہ جو اس کے بارہ میں اختلاف کررہے ہیں ضرور اس کی طرف سے شبہ میں پڑے ہوئے ہیں انہیں اس کی کچھ بھی خبر نہیں مگر یہی گمان کی پیروی اور بیشک انہوں نے اس کو قتل نہیں کیا - Ahmed Raza

وَإِن مِّنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ إِلَّا لَيُؤْمِنَنَّ بِهِۦ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِۦ ۖ وَيَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ يَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًۭا [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

There is not one of the People of the Scripture but will believe in him before his death, and on the Day of Resurrection he will be a witness against them - - Pickthall, Marmaduke

There is none among the People of the Book but will surely believe in him before his death; and on the Day of Resurrection, he will be a witness against them. - Qarai, Ali Quli

فَبِظُلْمٍۢ
Thus because of unfairness
مِّنَ
from
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
هَادُوا۟
were menacing,
حَرَّمْنَا
We prohibited
عَلَيْهِمْ
upon them
طَيِّبَٰتٍ
good things
أُحِلَّتْ
which were allowed
لَهُمْ
for them,
وَبِصَدِّهِمْ
and (also) due to their obstructing
عَن
from
سَبِيلِ
path of
ٱللَّهِ
the One
كَثِيرًۭا
many (people).
٤
١٦٠
فَبِظُلْمٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ هَادُوا۟ حَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ طَيِّبَٰتٍ أُحِلَّتْ لَهُمْ وَبِصَدِّهِمْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ كَثِيرًۭا Thus because of unfairness from the ones who were menacing, We prohibited upon them good things which were allowed for them, and (also) due to their obstructing from path of the One many (people).

Because of the wrongdoing of the Jews We forbade them good things which were (before) made lawful unto them, and because of their much hindering from Allah's way, - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Due to the wrongdoing of the Jews, We prohibited them certain good things that were permitted to them [earlier], and for their barring many [people] from the way of Allah, - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
We made unlawful for the Jews certain pure things which had been lawful for them before, because of the injustice which they had committed, their obstructing many people from the way of God, - Sarwar, Muhammad

Wherefore for the iniquity of those who are Jews did We disallow to them the good things which had been made lawful for them and for their hindering many (people) from Allah's way. - Shakir, Habib

Because of the wrongdoings of the Jews, We forbade them certain good things that had been allowed to them before; for having frequently debarred others from God's path; - Wahiduddin Khan

پس ان یہودیوں کے ظلم کی بنا پر ہم نے جن پاکیزہ چیزوں کو حلال کر رکھا تھا ان پر حرام کردیا اور ان کے بہت سے لوگوں کو راسِ خدا سے روکنے کی بنا پر - Jawadi, Zeeshan

غرض اِن یہودی بن جانے والوں کے اِسی ظالمانہ رویہ کی بنا پر، اور اس بنا پر کہ یہ بکثرت اللہ کے راستے سے روکتے ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

وَأَعْتَدْنَا

لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ

مِنْهُمْ

عَذَابًا

أَلِيمًۭا

وَأَخْذِهِمُ ٱلرِّبَوٰا۟ وَقَدْ نُهُوا۟ عَنْهُ وَأَكْلِهِمْ أَمْوَٰلَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ ۚ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ مِنْهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًۭا [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And of their taking usury when they were forbidden it, and of their devouring people's wealth by false pretences, We have prepared for those of them who disbelieve a painful doom. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

and for their taking usury—though they had been forbidden from it—and for eating up the wealth of the people wrongfully. And We have prepared for the faithless among them a painful punishment. - Qarai, Ali Quli

their taking usury which was prohibited for them, and their consuming people's property unjustly. For the unbelievers among them, We have prepared a painful torment. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And their taking usury though indeed they were forbidden it and their devouring the property of people falsely, and We have prepared for the unbelievers from among them a painful chastisement. - Shakir, Habib

for taking usury, when they had been forbidden to do so. And because of their devouring people's wealth wrongfully. We have prepared a painful punishment for those of them who [continue to] deny the truth. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور سود لینے کی بنا پر جس سے انہیں روکا گیا تھا اور ناجائز طریقہ سے لوگوں کا مال کھانے کی بنا پر اور ہم نے کافروں کے لئے بڑا دردناک عذاب مہّیا کیا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور سود لیتے ہیں جس سے انہیں منع کیا گیا تھا، اور لوگوں کے مال ناجائز طریقوں سے کھاتے ہیں، ہم نے بہت سی وہ پاک چیزیں ان پر حرام کر دیں جو پہلے ان کے لیے حلال تھیں، اور جو لوگ اِن میں سے کافر ہیں ان کے لیے ہم نے درد ناک عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور اس لئے کہ وہ سود لیتے حالانکہ وہ اس سے منع کیے گئے تھے اور لوگوں کا مال ناحق کھا جاتے اور ان میں جو کافر ہوئے ہم نے ان کے لئے دردناک عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے، - Ahmed Raza

But
ٱلرَّٰسِخُونَ
the stable ones
فِى
in
ٱلْعِلْمِ
the knowledge
مِنْهُمْ
from them,
وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
and those who are of firm conviction,
يُؤْمِنُونَ
are sure
بِمَآ
about what
أُنزِلَ
has been sent down
إِلَيْكَ
to you
وَمَآ
and what
أُنزِلَ
has been sent down
مِن
from
قَبْلِكَ
before you,
ۚ
وَٱلْمُقِيمِينَ
and they are establishers of
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
the discipline,
ۚ
وَٱلْمُؤْتُونَ
and the producers of
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
the emancipation,
وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
and those who are of firm conviction
بِٱللَّهِ
about the One,
وَٱلْيَوْمِ
and the day of
ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ
the forthcoming,
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
those are
سَنُؤْتِيهِمْ
to whom We will give
أَجْرًا
a reward
عَظِيمًا
of a great magnitude.
٤
١٦٢
لَّٰكِنِ ٱلرَّٰسِخُونَ فِى ٱلْعِلْمِ مِنْهُمْ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ ۚ وَٱلْمُقِيمِينَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ ۚ وَٱلْمُؤْتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ سَنُؤْتِيهِمْ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا But the stable ones in the knowledge from them, and those who are of firm conviction, are sure about what has been sent down to you and what has been sent down from before you, and they are establishers of the discipline, and the producers of the emancipation, and those who are of firm conviction about the One, and the day of the forthcoming, those are to whom We will give a reward of a great magnitude.

But those of them who are firm in knowledge and the believers believe in that which is revealed unto thee, and that which was revealed before thee, especially the diligent in prayer and those who pay the poor-due, the believers in Allah and the Last Day. Upon these We shall bestow immense reward. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

But as for those who are firmly grounded in knowledge from among them, and the faithful, they believe in what has been sent down to you, and what was sent down before you—those who maintain the prayer, give the zakat, and believe in Allah and the Last Day—them We shall give a great reward. - Qarai, Ali Quli

However, the learned among them (the Jews) and the faithful believe in what God has revealed to you (Muhammad) and to the others before you and those who are steadfast in prayer, pay their religious tax, and believe in God and the Day of Judgment. They all will receive a great reward from Us. - Sarwar, Muhammad

But the firm in knowledge among them and the believers believe in what has been revealed to. you and what was revealed before you, and those who keep up prayers and those who give the poor-rate and the believers in Allah and the last day, these it is whom We will give a mighty reward. - Shakir, Habib

But to those of them, who are firmly grounded in knowledge, and the believers, who truly believe in what is revealed to you, and what was revealed before you. To those who pray regularly and pay the zakat [prescribed alms] and believe in God and the Last Day, We will surely give a great reward. - Wahiduddin Khan

لیکن ان میں سے جو لوگ علم میں رسوخ رکھنے والے اور ایمان لانے والے ہیں وہ ان سب پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں جو تم پر نازل ہوا ہے یا تم سے پہلے نازل ہوچکا ہے اور بالخصوص نماز قائم کرنے والے اور زکوِٰدینے والے اور آخرت پر ایمان رکھنے والے ہیں ہم عنقریب ان سب کو اج» عظیم عطا کریں گے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

مگر ان میں جو لوگ پختہ علم رکھنے والے ہیں اور ایماندار ہیں وہ سب اُس تعلیم پر ایمان لاتے ہیں جو تمہاری طرف نازل کی گئی ہے اور جو تم سے پہلے نازل کی گئی تھی اِس طرح کے ایمان لانے والے اور نماز و زکوٰۃ کی پابندی کرنے والے اور اللہ اور روز آخر پر سچا عقیدہ رکھنے والے لوگوں کو ہم ضرور اجر عظیم عطا کریں گے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

ہاں جو اُن میں علم کے پکے اور ایمان والے ہیں وہ ایمان لاتے ہیں اس پر جو اے محبوب تمہاری طرف اُترا اور جو تم سے پہلے اُترا اور نماز قائم رکھنے والے اور زکوٰة دینے والے اور اللہ اور قیامت پر ایمان لانے والے ایسوں کو عنقریب ہم بڑا ثواب دیں گے، - Ahmed Raza

البتہ ان میں سے جو علم میں پختہ ہیں اور جو ایمان دار ہیں، وہ سب اس پر ایمان لاتے ہیں، جو کچھ آپ پر نازل کیا گیا اور اس پر بھی جو آپ سے پہلے نازل کیا گیا اور وہ نماز کو قائم کرتے ہیں، زکوٰۃ ادا کرتے ہیں اور اللہ اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں، یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جن کو ہم بہت بڑا اجر و ثواب عطا کریں گے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

وَيُونُسَ

وَهَٰرُونَ

وَسُلَيْمَٰنَ

وَءَاتَيْنَا

دَاوُۥدَ

زَبُورًۭا

١٦٣
إِنَّآ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ كَمَآ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ نُوحٍۢ وَٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ ۚ وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَٱلْأَسْبَاطِ وَعِيسَىٰ وَأَيُّوبَ وَيُونُسَ وَهَٰرُونَ وَسُلَيْمَٰنَ ۚ وَءَاتَيْنَا دَاوُۥدَ زَبُورًۭا [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Lo! We inspire thee as We inspired Noah and the prophets after him, as We inspired Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the tribes, and Jesus and Job and Jonah and Aaron and Solomon, and as We imparted unto David the Psalms; - Pickthall, Marmaduke

We have indeed revealed to you as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him, and [as] We revealed to Abraham and Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, Jesus and Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon—and We gave David the Psalms— - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
(Muhammad), We have sent revelations to you just as were sent to Noah and the Prophets who lived after him and to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, his descendants, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon. We gave the Psalms to David. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
Surely We have revealed to you as We revealed to Nuh, and the prophets after him, and We revealed to Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq and Yaqoub and the tribes, and Isa and Ayub and Yunus and Haroun and Sulaiman and We gave to Dawood - Shakir, Habib
⦿
We have sent revelation to you [Prophet] as We did to Noah and the prophets who came after him, to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, to Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon and David, to whom We gave the Psalms. - Wahiduddin Khan

ہم نے آپ کی طرف اسی طرح وحی نازل کی ہے جس طرح نوح علیھ السّلاماور ان کے بعد کے انبیائ کی طرف وحی کی تھی اور ابراہیم علیھ السّلام,اسماعیل علیھ السّلام,اسحاق علیھ السّلام,یعقوب علیھ السّلام,اسباط علیھ السّلام,عیسٰی علیھ السّلام ,ایوب علیھ السّلام, یونس علیھ السّلام,ہارون علیھ السّلام اور سلیمان علیھ السّلام کی طرف وحی کی ہے اور داؤد علیھ السّلام کو زبور عطا کی ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اے محمدؐ! ہم نے تمہاری طرف اُسی طرح وحی بھیجی ہے جس طرح نوحؑ اور اس کے بعد کے پیغمبروں کی طرف بھیجی تھی ہم نے ابراہیمؑ، اسماعیلؑ، اسحاقؑ، یعقوبؑ اور اولاد یعقوبؑ، عیسیٰؑ، ایوبؑ، یونسؑ، ہارونؑ اور سلیمانؑ کی طرف وحی بھیجی ہم نے داؤدؑ کو زبور دی - Maududi, Abul A'ala

بیشک اے محبوب! ہم نے تمہاری طرف وحی بھیجی جیسے دحی نوح اور اس کے بعد پیغمبروں کو بھیجی اور ہم نے ابراہیم اور اسمٰعیل اور اسحاق اور یعقوب اور ان کے بیٹوں اور عیسیٰ اور ایوب اور یونس اور ہارون اور سلیمان کو وحی کی اور ہم نے داؤد کو زبور عطا فرمائی - Ahmed Raza

And messengers We have mentioned unto thee before and messengers We have not mentioned unto thee; and Allah spake directly unto Moses; - Pickthall, Marmaduke

and apostles We have recounted to you earlier and apostles We have not recounted to you—and to Moses Allah spoke directly— - Qarai, Ali Quli

(We sent revelations to) the Messengers mentioned to you before and also to Messengers who have not been mentioned to you. God spoke to Moses in words. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And (We sent) apostles We have mentioned to you before and apostles we have not mentioned to you; and to Musa, Allah addressed His Word, speaking (to him): - Shakir, Habib

We have told you about some messengers sent previously, while We have not yet told you about others. God spoke to Moses directly. - Wahiduddin Khan

کچھ رسول ہیں جن کے قصے ّہم آپ سے بیان کرچکے ہیں اور کچھ رسول ہیں جن کا تذکرہ ہم نے نہیں کیا ہے اور اللہ نے موسٰی علیھ السّلام سے باقاعدہ گفتگو کی ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

ہم نے اُن رسولوں پر بھی وحی نازل کی جن کا ذکر ہم اِس سے پہلے تم سے کر چکے ہیں اور اُن رسولوں پر بھی جن کا ذکر تم سے نہیں کیا ہم نے موسیٰؑ سے اِس طرح گفتگو کی جس طرح گفتگو کی جاتی ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور رسولوں کو جن کا ذکر آگے ہم تم سے فرماچکے اور ان رسولوں کو جن کا ذکر تم سے نہ فرمایا اور اللہ نے موسیٰ سے حقیقتاً کلام فرمایا - Ahmed Raza

کچھ پیغمبر وہ ہیں جن کے حالات ہم نے آپ سے پہلے بیان کر دیئے ہیں اور کچھ وہ ہیں جن کے واقعات ہم نے آپ سے بیان نہیں کئے اور اللہ نے موسیٰ سے اس طرح کلام کیا جیساکہ کلام کرنے کا حق ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
