Say (O Muhammad, to the disbelievers): Do ye bid me serve other than Allah? O ye fools! - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Say, [Will you, then, bid me to worship other than Allah, O you ignorant ones?!] - Qarai, Ali Quli

(Muhammad), say, [Ignorant ones, do you command me to worship things other than God - Sarwar, Muhammad

وَلَقَدْ أُوحِىَ إِلَيْكَ وَإِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكَ لَئِنْ أَشْرَكْتَ لَيَحْبَطَنَّ عَمَلُكَ وَلَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And verily it hath been revealed unto thee as unto those before thee (saying): If thou ascribe a partner to Allah thy work will fail and thou indeed wilt be among the losers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Certainly it has been revealed to you and to those [who have been] before you: [If you ascribe a partner to Allah your works shall fail and you shall surely be among the losers. - Qarai, Ali Quli

even though God has said, [It has been revealed to you and to those who lived before you that if you consider other things equal to God, your deeds will be made devoid of all virtue and you will certainly be lost?] - Sarwar, Muhammad

And certainly, it has been revealed to you and to those before you: Surely if you associate (with Allah), your work would certainly come to naught and you would certainly be of the losers. - Shakir, Habib

It has already been revealed to you and to those who have gone before you that if you ascribe any partner to God, all your works will come to nothing, and you will surely be among the losers. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور یقینا تمہاری طرف اور تم سے پہلے والوں کی طرف یہی وحی کی گئی ہے کہ اگر تم شرک اختیار کرو گے تو تمہارے تمام اعمال برباد کردیئے جائیں گے اور تمہارا شمار گھاٹے والوں میں ہوجائے گا - Jawadi, Zeeshan

(یہ بات تمہیں ان سے صاف کہہ دینی چاہیے کیونکہ) تمہاری طرف اور تم سے پہلے گزرے ہوئے تمام انبیاء کی طرف یہ وحی بھیجی جا چکی ہے کہ اگر تم نے شرک کیا تو تمہارا عمل ضائع ہو جائے گا اور تم خسارے میں رہو گے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور بیشک وحی کی گئی تمہاری طرف اور تم سے اگلوں کی طرف کہ اسے سننے والے اگر تو نے اللہ کا شریک کیا تو ضرور تیرا سب کیا دھرا اَکارت جائے گا اور ضرور تو ہار میں رہے گا، - Ahmed Raza

بیشک آپ(ص) کی طرف بھی وحی کی جا چکی ہے اور ان (انبیاء(ع)) کی طرف بھی جو آپ سے پہلے تھے کہ اگر (بفرضِ محال) آپ نے بھی شرک کیا تو آپ کے عمل ضائع ہو جائیں گے اور آپ نقصان اٹھانے والوں میں سے ہو جائیں گے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

وَتَعَٰلَىٰ

عَمَّا

يُشْرِكُونَ

وَمَا قَدَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِۦ وَٱلْأَرْضُ جَمِيعًۭا قَبْضَتُهُۥ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ مَطْوِيَّٰتٌۢ بِيَمِينِهِۦ ۚ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And they esteem not Allah as He hath the right to be esteemed, when the whole earth is His handful on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens are rolled in His right hand. Glorified is He and High Exalted from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

They do not regard Allah with the regard due to Him, yet the entire earth will be in His fist on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens, scrolled, in His right hand. Immaculate is He and exalted above [having] any partners that they ascribe [to Him]. - Qarai, Ali Quli

They have not paid due respect to God. The whole earth will be gripped in His hands on the Day of Judgment and the heavens will be just like a scroll in His right hand. God is too Glorious and High to be considered equal to their idols. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And they have not honored Allah with the honor that is due to Him; and the whole earth shall be in His grip on the day of resurrection and the heavens rolled up in His right hand; glory be to Him, and may He be exalted above what they associate (with Him). - Shakir, Habib

No just estimate have they made of God, such as is due to Him. But on the Day of Resurrection, the whole earth will lie within His grasp, while heaven will be folded up in His right hand -- Glory be to Him! Exalted is He above all that they associate with Him -- - Wahiduddin Khan

اور ان لوگوں نے واقعا اللہ کی قدر نہیں کی ہے جب کہ روزِ قیامت تمام زمین اسی کی مٹھی میں ہوگی اور سارے آسمان اسی کے ہاتھ میں لپٹے ہوئے ہوں گے وہ پاک و بے نیاز ہے اور جن چیزوں کو یہ اس کا شریک بناتے ہیں ان سے بلند و بالاتر ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اِن لوگوں نے اللہ کی قدر ہی نہ کی جیسا کہ اس کی قدر کرنے کا حق ہے (اس کی قدرت کاملہ کا حال تو یہ ہے کہ) قیامت کے روز پوری زمین اُس کی مٹھی میں ہو گی اور آسمان اس کے دست راست میں لپٹے ہوئے ہوں گے پاک اور بالاتر ہے وہ اس شرک سے جو یہ لوگ کرتے ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور انہوں نے اللہ کی قدر نہ کی جیسا کہ اس کا حق تھا اور وہ قیامت کے دن سب زمینوں کو سمیٹ دے گا اور اس کی قدرت سے سب آسمان لپیٹ دیے جائیں گے اور ان کے شرک سے پاک اور برتر ہے، - Ahmed Raza

And the trumpet is blown, and all who are in the heavens and all who are in the earth swoon away, save him whom Allah willeth. Then it is blown a second time, and behold them standing waiting! - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And the Trumpet will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens will swoon and whoever is on the earth, except whomever Allah wishes. Then it will be blown a second time, behold, they will rise up, looking on! - Qarai, Ali Quli

Everyone in the heavens and the earth will faint in terror except for those whom God will save when the trumpet is sounded. They will all stand up and wait when the trumpet sounds for the second time. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And the trumpet shall be blown, so all those that are in the heavens and all those that are in the earth shall swoon, except such as Allah please; then it shall be blown again, then lo! they shall stand up awaiting. - Shakir, Habib

the Trumpet shall be blown and whoever is in heaven and whoever is on earth will fall down in a swoon, except those who shall be spared by God. Then the trumpet will be blown again and they shall rise and gaze around them. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور جب صور پھونکا جائے گا تو زمین و آسمان کی تمام مخلوقات بیہوش ہوکر گر پڑیں گی علاوہ ان کے جنہیں خدا بچانا چاہے - اس کے بعد پھر دوبارہ پھونکا جائے گا تو سب کھڑے ہوکر دیکھنے لگیں گے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور اُس روز صور پھونکا جائے گا اور وہ سب مر کر گر جائیں گے جو آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہیں سوائے اُن کے جنہیں اللہ زندہ رکھنا چاہے پھر ایک دوسرا صور پھونکا جائے گا اور یکایک سب کے سب اٹھ کر دیکھنے لگیں گے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور صُور پھونکا جائے گا تو بے ہوش ہوجائیں گے جتنے آسمانوں میں ہیں اور جتنے زمین میں مگر جسے اللہ چاہے پھر وہ دوبارہ پھونکا جائے گا جبھی وہ دیکھتے ہوئے کھڑے ہوجائیں گے - Ahmed Raza

اور (پہلی بار) صور پھونکا جائے گا تو جو آسمانوں میں ہیں وہ بھی اور جو زمین میں وہ بھی سب بے ہوش ہو کر گر پڑیں گے سوائے ان کے جن کو اللہ چاہے گا (وہ بے ہوش نہیں ہوں گے) پھر دوبارہ پھونکا جائے گا تو وہ ایک دم کھڑے ہوکر (ِادھر اُدھر) دیکھنے لگیں گے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

وَأَشْرَقَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ بِنُورِ رَبِّهَا وَوُضِعَ ٱلْكِتَٰبُ وَجِا۟ىٓءَ بِٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ وَٱلشُّهَدَآءِ وَقُضِىَ بَيْنَهُم بِٱلْحَقِّ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And the earth shineth with the light of her Lord, and the Book is set up, and the prophets and the witnesses are brought, and it is judged between them with truth, and they are not wronged. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

The earth will glow with the light of her Lord, and the Book will be set up, and the prophets and the martyrs will be brought, and judgment will be made between them with justice, and they will not be wronged. - Qarai, Ali Quli

The earth will become bright from the light of your Lord. The Book of Records will be presented and the Prophets and witness will be summoned. All will be judged with justice and no wrong will be done to anyone. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And the earth shall beam with the light of its Lord, and the Book shall be laid down, and the prophets and the witnesses shall be brought up, and judgment shall be given between them with justice, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly. - Shakir, Habib

زمین اپنے رب کے نور سے چمک اٹھے گی، کتاب اعمال لا کر رکھ دی جائے گی، انبیاء اور تمام گواہ حاضر کر دیے جائیں گے، لوگوں کے درمیان ٹھیک ٹھیک حق کے ساتھ فیصلہ کر دیا جائے گا اور اُن پر کوئی ظلم نہ ہوگا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور زمین جگمگا اٹھے گی اپنے رب کے نور سے اور رکھی جائے گی کتاب اور لائے جائیں گے انبیاء اور یہ نبی اور اس کی امت کے ان پر گواہ ہونگے اور لوگوں میں سچا فیصلہ فرمادیا جائے گا اور ان پر ظلم نہ ہوگا، - Ahmed Raza

وَسِيقَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ زُمَرًا ۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُوهَا فُتِحَتْ أَبْوَٰبُهَا وَقَالَ لَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَآ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ رُسُلٌۭ مِّنكُمْ يَتْلُونَ عَلَيْكُمْ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّكُمْ وَيُنذِرُونَكُمْ لِقَآءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَٰذَا ۚ قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ وَلَٰكِنْ حَقَّتْ كَلِمَةُ ٱلْعَذَابِ عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And those who disbelieve are driven unto hell in troops till, when they reach it and the gates thereof are opened, and the warders thereof say unto them: Came there not unto you messengers of your own, reciting unto you the revelations of your Lord and warning you of the meeting of this your Day? they say: Yea, verily. But the word of doom of disbelievers is fulfilled. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

The faithless will be driven to hell in throngs. When they reach it and its gates are opened, its keepers will say to them, [Did there not come to you [any] apostles from among yourselves, reciting to you the signs of your Lord and warning you of the encounter of this day of yours?] They will say, [Yes, but the word of punishment became due against the faithless.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

The disbelievers will be driven to hell in hordes. Its gates will be opened when they are brought nearby and the keepers will ask them, [Did Messengers from your own people not come to you to recite your Lord's revelations and to warn you about this day?] They will reply, [Yes, the Messengers did come to us, but the unbelievers were doomed to face the torment]. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And those who disbelieve shall be driven to hell in companies; until, when they come to it, its doors shall be opened, and the keepers of it shall say to them: Did not there come to you apostles from among you reciting to you the communications of your Lord and warning you of the meeting of this day of yours? They shall say: Yea! But the sentence of punishment was due against the unbelievers. - Shakir, Habib

Those who rejected the truth will be led to Hell in throngs. When they reach it, its gates will be opened and its keepers will say to them, [Have messengers not come to you from among yourselves, who conveyed to you the revelations of your Lord and warned you about meeting [Him] on this Day?] They will answer, [Yes, they did come.] But the decree of punishment has proved true against the deniers of the truth. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور کفر اختیار کرنے والوں کو گروہ در گروہ جہّنم کی طرف ہنکایا جائے گا یہاں تک کہ اس کے سامنے پہنچ جائیں گے تو اس کے دروازے کھول دیئے جائیں گے اور اس کے خازن سوال کریں گے کیا تمہارے پاس رسول نہیں آئے تھے جو آیااُ رب کی تلاوت کرتے اور تمہیں آج کے دن کی ملاقات سے ڈراتے تو سب کہیں گے کہ بیشک رسول آئے تھے لیکن کافرین کے حق میں کلمئہ عذاب بہرحال ثابت ہوچکا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

(اِس فیصلہ کے بعد) وہ لوگ جنہوں نے کفر کیا تھا جہنم کی طرف گروہ در گروہ ہانکے جائیں گے، یہاں تک کہ جب وہ وہاں پہنچیں گے تو اس کے دروازے کھولے جائیں گے اور اُس کے کارندے ان سے کہیں گے ——کیا تمہارے پاس تمہارے اپنے لوگوں میں سے ایسے رسول نہیں آئے تھے، جنہوں نے تم کو تمہارے رب کی آیات سنائی ہوں اور تمہیں اس بات سے ڈرایا ہو کہ ایک وقت تمہیں یہ دن بھی دیکھنا ہوگا؟—— وہ جواب دیں گے ——ہاں، آئے تھے، مگر عذاب کا فیصلہ کافروں پر چپک گیا—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور کافر جہنم کی طرف ہانکے جائیں گے گروہ گروہ یہاں تک کہ جب وہاں پہنچیں گے اس کے دروازے کھولے جائیں گے اور اس کے داروغہ ان سے کہیں گے کیا تمہارے پاس تمہیں میں سے وہ رسول نہ آئے تھے جو تم پر تمہارے رب کی آیتیں پڑھتے تھے اور تمہیں اس دن سے ملنے سے ڈراتے تھے، کہیں گے کیوں نہیں مگر عذاب کا قول کافروں پر ٹھیک اترا - Ahmed Raza

اور جن لوگوں نے کفر اختیار کیا وہ (اس خدائی فیصلہ کے بعد) جہنم کی طرف گروہ در گروہ ہانکے جائیں گے یہاں تک کہ جب وہ اس کے پاس پہنچیں گے تو اس کے دروازے کھول دیئے جائیں گے اور اس کے داروغے ان سے کہیں گے کہ کیا تمہارے پاس تمہی میں سے کچھ رسول(ع) نہیں آئے تھے جو تمہیں تمہارے پروردگار کی آیتیں پڑھ کر سناتے تھے اور تمہیں اس دن کے پیش آنے سے ڈراتے تھے وہ (جواب میں) کہیں گے کہ ہاں (آئے تو تھے) لیکن (ہم نے نہ مانا کیونکہ) کافروں پر عذاب کا فیصلہ ہو چکا تھا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

And those who keep their duty to their Lord are driven unto the Garden in troops till, when they reach it, and the gates thereof are opened, and the warders thereof say unto them: Peace be unto you! Ye are good, so enter ye (the Garden of delight), to dwell therein; - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Those who are wary of their Lord will be led to paradise in throngs. When they reach it and its gates are opened, its keepers will say to them, [Peace be to you! You are welcome! Enter it to remain [forever].] - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
The pious ones will be led to Paradise in large groups. Its gates will be opened to them when they are brought nearby and its keepers will say, [Welcome! Peace be with you. Enter the gates of Paradise to live therein forever]. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And those who are careful of (their duty to) their Lord shall be conveyed to the garden in companies; until when they come to it, and its doors shall be opened, and the keepers of it shall say to them: Peace be on you, you shall be happy; therefore enter it to abide. - Shakir, Habib

But those who fear their Lord will be led in groups towards Paradise. When they reach it, its gate will be opened, and its keepers will say to them, [Peace be upon you. You have done well, enter Paradise and dwell in it forever,] - Wahiduddin Khan

اور جن لوگوں نے اپنے رب کا تقویٰ اختیار کیا انہیں جنّت کی طرف گروہ در گروہ لے جایا جائے گا یہاں تک کہ جب اس کے قریب پہنچیں گے اور اس کے دروازے کھول دیئے جائیں گے تو اس کے خزانہ دار کہیں گے کہ تم پر ہمارا سلام ہو تم پاک و پاکیزہ ہو لہٰذا ہمیشہ کے لئے جنت میں داخل ہوجاؤ - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور جو لوگ اپنے رب کی نافرمانی سے پرہیز کرتے تھے انہیں گروہ در گروہ جنت کی طرف لے جایا جائے گا یہاں تک کہ جب وہ وہاں پہنچیں گے، اور اس کے دروازے پہلے ہی کھولے جا چکے ہوں گے، تو اُس کے منتظمین ان سے کہیں گے کہ ——سلام ہو تم پر، بہت اچھے رہے، داخل ہو جاؤ اس میں ہمیشہ کے لیے—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور جو اپنے رب سے ڈرتے تھے ان کی سواریاں گروہ گروہ جنت کی طرف چلائی جائیں گی، یہاں تک کہ جب وہاں پہنچیں گے اور اس کے دروازے کھلے ہوئے ہوں گے اور اس کے داروغہ ان سے کہیں گے سلام تم پر تم خوب رہے تو جنت میں جاؤ ہمیشہ رہنے، - Ahmed Raza

They say: Praise be to Allah, Who hath fulfilled His promise unto us and hath made us inherit the land, sojourning in the Garden where we will! So bounteous is the wage of workers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

They will say, [All praise belongs to Allah, who has fulfilled His promise to us and made us inheritors of the earth, that we may settle in paradise wherever we may wish!] How excellent is the reward of the workers [of righteousness]! - Qarai, Ali Quli

They will say, [It is only God who deserves all praise. He has made His promise come true and has given the earth as an inheritance to us. Now we live in the gardens as we wished. Blessed is the reward of those who labor. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And they shall say: (All) praise is due to Allah, Who has made good to us His promise, and He has made us inherit the land; we may abide in the garden where we please; so goodly is the reward of the workers. - Shakir, Habib

and they will say, [Praise be to God who has fulfilled His promise to us and made us the inheritors of this land, letting us settle in the Garden wherever we want.] How excellent is the reward of those who labour! - Wahiduddin Khan

اور وہ کہیں گے کہ شکر خدا ہے کہ اس نے ہم سے کئے ہوئے اپنے وعدہ کو سچ کر دکھایا ہے اور ہمیں اپنی زمین کا وارث بنادیا ہے کہ جنت میں جہاں چاہیں آرام کریں اور بیشک یہ عمل کرنے والوں کا بہترین اجر ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور وہ کہیں گے ——شکر ہے اُس خدا کا جس نے ہمارے ساتھ اپنا وعدہ سچ کر دکھایا اور ہم کو زمین کا وارث بنا دیا، اب ہم جنت میں جہاں چاہیں اپنی جگہ بنا سکتے ہیں—— پس بہترین اجر ہے عمل کرنے والوں کے لیے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور وہ کہیں گے سب خوبیاں اللہ کو جس نے اپنا وعدہ ہم سے سچا کیا اور ہمیں اس زمین کا وارث کیا کہ ہم جنت میں رہیں جہاں چاہیں، تو کیا ہی اچھا ثواب کامیوں (اچھے کام کرنیوالوں) کا - Ahmed Raza

And thou (O Muhammad) seest the angels thronging round the Throne, hymning the praises of their Lord. And they are judged aright. And it is said: Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds! - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne, celebrating the praise of their Lord, and judgment will be made between them with justice, and it will be said, [All praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds!] - Qarai, Ali Quli

(Muhammad), on that day you will see the angels circling around the Throne, glorifying and praising their Lord. Judgment with justice will be decreed between the people of Paradise and hell and it will be said, [It is only God, Lord of the Universe who deserves all praise.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

And you shall see the angels going round about the throne glorifying the praise of their Lord; and judgment shall be given between them with justice, and it shall be said: All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. - Shakir, Habib

You shall see the angels circling about the throne, glorifying their Lord with praise. And judgement will have been passed in justice on all and it will be said, [Praise be to God, Lord of the Universe!] - Wahiduddin Khan

اور تم دیکھو گے کہ ملائکہ عرش الہٰی کے گرد گھیرا ڈالے ہوئے اپنے رب کی حمد کی تسبیح کررہے ہیں اور لوگوں کے درمیان حق و انصاف کے ساتھ فیصلہ کردیا جائے گا اور ہر طرف ایک ہی آواز ہوگی کہ الحمدللہ رب العالمین - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور تم دیکھو گے کہ فرشتے عرش کے گرد حلقہ بنائے ہوئے اپنے رب کی حمد اور تسبیح کر رہے ہوں گے، اور لوگوں کے درمیان ٹھیک ٹھیک حق کے ساتھ فیصلہ چکا دیا جائے گا، اور پکار دیا جائے گا کہ حمد ہے اللہ ربّ العالمین کے لیے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور تم فرشتوں کو دیکھو گے عرش کے آس پاس حلقہ کیے اپنے رب کی تعریف کے ساتھ ا س کی پاکی بولتے اور لوگوں میں سچا فیصلہ فرمادیا جائے گا اور کہا جائے گا کہ سب خوبیاں اللہ کو جو سارے جہاں کا رب - Ahmed Raza

اور آپ فرشتوں کو دیکھیں گے کہ وہ عرش (الٰہی) کے اردگرد اپنے پروردگار کی تسبیح (تقدیس) کر رہے ہوں گے اور ان (لوگوں) کے درمیان حق (و انصاف) کے ساتھ فیصلہ کر دیا جائے گا ہر قِسم کی تعریف اس اللہ کیلئے ہے جو تمام جہانوں کا پروردگار ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
