قُلْ
Say,
يَٰعِبَادِ
[O slaves (of the One)!
ٱلَّذِينَ
The ones who
ءَامَنُوا۟
have conviction!
ٱتَّقُوا۟
Be aware of
رَبَّكُمْ
your Master!
ۚ
لِلَّذِينَ
For the ones who
أَحْسَنُوا۟
do good
فِى
in
هَٰذِهِ
this
ٱلدُّنْيَا
World is
حَسَنَةٌۭ
goodness;
ۗ
وَأَرْضُ
and land of
ٱللَّهِ
the One is
وَٰسِعَةٌ
widespread;
ۗ
إِنَّمَا
indeed
يُوَفَّى
He pays
ٱلصَّٰبِرُونَ
the persevering ones
أَجْرَهُم
their reward
بِغَيْرِ
without
حِسَابٍۢ
counting.]

١٠
قُلْ يَٰعِبَادِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ ۚ لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا۟ فِى هَٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٌۭ ۗ وَأَرْضُ ٱللَّهِ وَٰسِعَةٌ ۗ إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى ٱلصَّٰبِرُونَ أَجْرَهُم بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍۢ Say, [O slaves (of the One)! The ones who have conviction! Be aware of your Master! For the ones who do good in this World is goodness; and land of the One is widespread; indeed He pays the persevering ones their reward without counting.]

Say: O My bondmen who believe! Observe your duty to your Lord. For those who do good in this world there is good, and Allah's earth is spacious. Verily the steadfast will be paid their wages without stint. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Say, [[Allah declares:] “O My servants who have faith! Be wary of your Lord. For those who do good in this world there will be a good [reward], and Allah]s earth is vast. Indeed the patient will be paid in full their reward without any reckoning.” ] - Qarai, Ali Quli

Say to My believing servants, [Have fear of your Lord. Those who act righteously in this life will receive good reward. The land of God is vast. God will recompense the deeds of those who have exercised patience, without keeping an account]. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Say: O my servants who believe! be careful of (your duty to) your Lord; for those who do good in this world is good, and Allah's earth is spacious; only the patient will be paid back their reward in full without measure. - Shakir, Habib

کہہ دیجئے کہ اے میرے ایماندار بندو! اپنے پروردگار سے ڈرو . جو لوگ اس دار دنیا میں نیکی کرتے ہیں ان کے لئے نیکی ہے اور اللہ کی زمین بہت وسیع ہے بس صبر کرنے والے ہی وہ ہیں جن کو بے حساب اجر دیا جاتا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

(اے نبیؐ) کہو کہ اے میرے بندو جو ایمان لائے ہو، اپنے رب سے ڈرو جن لوگوں نے اِس دنیا میں نیک رویہ اختیار کیا ہے ان کے لیے بھلائی ہے اور خدا کی زمین وسیع ہے، صبر کرنے والوں کو تو ان کا اجر بے حساب دیا جائے گا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

کہہ دیجئے! اے میرے وہ بندو جو ایمان لائے ہو! اپنے پروردگار (کی نافرمانی) سے ڈرو۔ (اور یاد رکھو) جو لوگ اس دنیا میں نیک عمل کرتے ہیں ان کیلئے (آخرت میں) نیک صلہ ہے اور اللہ کی زمین وسیع (کشادہ) ہے بے شک صبر کرنے والوں کو ان کا اجر بے حساب دیا جائے گا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

Say,
إِنِّىٓ

I be slave of
ٱللَّهَ

مُخْلِصًۭا
exclusively,
لَّهُ
to Him in
ٱلدِّينَ
the governance system.]
Say, [I am commanded that I be slave of the One exclusively, to Him in the governance system.]

Say (O Muhammad): Lo! I am commanded to worship Allah, making religion pure for Him (only). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ
the submitters.]
[And am commanded for that I be first of the submitters.]

And I am commanded to be the first of those who are muslims (surrender unto Him). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

punishment of
يَوْمٍ
a day
عَظِيمٍۢ
that is grand.]
Say, [I am afraid of — if I disobey my Rabb — punishment of a day that is grand.]

Say: Lo! if I should disobey my Lord, I fear the doom of a tremendous Day. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Say,
ٱللَّهَ
[The One is whom
أَعْبُدُ

مُخْلِصًۭا

لَّهُۥ
belongs to Him

my governance system.]
Say, [The One is whom I obey exclusively; belongs to Him my governance system.]

Say: Allah I worship, making my religion pure for Him (only). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ
the losers are
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
خَسِرُوٓا۟
loose
أَنفُسَهُمْ
their own selves
وَأَهْلِيهِمْ
and their families
يَوْمَ
on day of
ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
the establishment.
ۗ
أَلَا
Is it not
ذَٰلِكَ
that
هُوَ
they are
ٱلْخُسْرَانُ
losers
ٱلْمُبِينُ
clearly?]
٣٩
١٥
فَٱعْبُدُوا۟ مَا شِئْتُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَهْلِيهِمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ۗ أَلَا ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْخُسْرَانُ ٱلْمُبِينُ [Whilst you obey what you desire from that which is beneath Him.] Say, [Surely the losers are the ones who loose their own selves and their families on day of the establishment. Is it not that they are losers clearly?]
⦿
Then worship what ye will beside Him. Say: The losers will be those who lose themselves and their housefolk on the Day of Resurrection. Ah, that will be the manifest loss! - Pickthall, Marmaduke
⦿
You worship whatever you wish besides Him.] Say, [The losers are those who ruin themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection.] Indeed, that is a manifest loss! - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
Worship besides Him whatever you want. The greatest losers are those whose souls and family members will be lost on the Day of Judgment for this is certainly a great loss]. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
Serve then what you like besides Him. Say: The losers surely are those who shall have lost themselves and their families on the day of resurrection; now surely that is the clear loss. - Shakir, Habib
⦿
as for yourselves, worship anything you please besides Him!] Say, [The real losers will be those who lose themselves and all their kith and kin on the Day of Resurrection. That is the [most] obvious loss. - Wahiduddin Khan

اب تم جس کی چاہو عبادت کرو کہہ دیجئے کہ حقیقی خسارہ والے وہی ہیں جنہوں نے اپنے نفس اور اپنے اہل کو قیامت کے دن گھاٹے میں رکھا - آگاہ ہوجاؤ یہی کھلا ہوا خسارہ ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

تم اُس کے سوا جس جس کی بندگی کرنا چاہو کرتے رہو کہو، اصل دیوالیے تو وہی ہیں جنہوں نے قیامت کے روز اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے اہل و عیال کو گھاٹے میں ڈال دیا خوب سن رکھو، یہی کھلا دیوالہ ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

تو تم اس کے سوا جسے چاہو پوجو تم فرماؤ پوری ہار انہیں جو اپنی جان اور اپنے گھر والے قیامت کے دن ہار بیٹھے ہاں ہاں یہی کھلی ہار ہے، - Ahmed Raza

تم اس کے سوا جن کی چاہو عبادت (کرو) نیز کہہ دیجئے کہ اصلی خسارے والے تو وہ ہیں جنہوں نے اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے گھر والوں کو قیامت کے دن خسارے میں میں ڈالا آگاہ ہو جاؤ کہ یہی کھلا ہوا خسارہ ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
