إِنَّا
Certainly We,
كَذَٰلِكَ
just like that,
نَجْزِى
reward
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
the good-doers.
Certainly We, just like that, reward the good-doers.

ہم اسی طرح نیک عمل کرنے والوں کو بدلہ دیا کرتے ہیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

ہم نیکی کرنے والوں کو ایسی ہی جزا دیتے ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala
⦿
بیشک ہم ایسا ہی صلہ دیتے ہیں نیکوں کو، - Ahmed Raza
⦿
اسی طرح ہم نیکوکاروں کو جزا دیتے ہیں۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
حسن | beautiful | appealing | better | good
جز ⇐ جزى | make satisfactory payment | remuneration to equate work input | reward | recompense
ذا ⇐ ذلك | that | thereof | though | therefrom
ان | if | had it been | as long as | in case of | if that then | that | time | surely | is it not | at that time
إِنَّهُمَا
Indeed they both were
مِنْ
from
عِبَادِنَا
Our slaves,
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
the ones of trust.
Indeed they both were from Our slaves, the ones of trust.

بیشک یہ دونوں ہمارے مؤمن بندوں میں سے تھے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

من | of | from | belonging to | than | who | whom | favour | blessing | peace | certification | obliging towards
ان | if | had it been | as long as | in case of | if that then | that | time | surely | is it not | at that time
وَإِنَّ
And certainly was
إِلْيَاسَ
Ilyaas
لَمِنَ
from
ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
the Messengers.
And certainly was Ilyaas from the Messengers.

And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Indeed Ilyas was one of the apostles. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Elias was certainly a Messenger. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. - Shakir, Habib

Elijah too was one of the messengers. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور یقینا الیاس علیھ السّلام بھی مرسلین میں سے تھے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور الیاسؑ بھی یقیناً مرسلین میں سے تھا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور بیشک الیاس پیغمبروں سے ہے - Ahmed Raza

When
قَالَ
said
لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ
to his nation,
أَلَا
[Why not
تَتَّقُونَ
you take heed?]
When said to his nation, [Why not you take heed?]

When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? - Pickthall, Marmaduke

When he said to his people, [Will you not be Godwary? - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
He told his people, [Why do you not have fear of God? - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? - Shakir, Habib

He said to his people, [Have you no fear [of God?] - Wahiduddin Khan
⦿
جب انہوں نے اپنی قوم سے کہا کہ تم لوگ خدا سے کیوں نہیں ڈرتے ہو - Jawadi, Zeeshan

یاد کرو جب اس نے اپنی قوم سے کہا تھا کہ ——تم لوگ ڈرتے نہیں ہو؟ - Maududi, Abul A'ala

جب اس نے اپنی قوم سے فرمایا کیا تم ڈرتے نہیں - Ahmed Raza

(وہ وقت یاد کرو) جب انہوں نے اپنی قوم سے کہا کہ تم (اللہ سے) ڈرتے نہیں ہو؟ - Najafi, Muhammad
