We have made lawful unto thee thy wives unto whom thou hast paid their dowries, and those whom thy right hand possesseth of those whom Allah hath given thee as spoils of war, and the daughters of thine uncle on the father's side and the daughters of thine aunts on the father's side, and the daughters of thine uncle on the mother's side and the daughters of thine aunts on the mother's side who emigrated with thee, and a believing woman if she give herself unto the Prophet and the Prophet desire to ask her in marriage - a privilege for thee only, not for the (rest of) believers - We are Aware of that which We enjoined upon them concerning their wives and those whom their right hands possess - that thou mayst be free from blame, for Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.

We knew what to make obligatory for them concerning their wives and slave girls so that you would face no hardship (because we have given distinction to you over the believers). God is All-forgiving and All-merciful.

اے پیغمبر ہم نے آپ کے لئے آپ کی بیویوں کو جن کا مہر دے دیا ہے اور کنیزوں کو جنہیں خدا نے جنگ کے بغیر عطا کردیا ہے اور آپ کے چچا کی بیٹیوں کو اور آپ کی پھوپھی کی بیٹیوں کو اور آپ کے ماموں کی بیٹیوں کو اور آپ کی خالہ کی بیٹیوں کو جنہوں نے آپ کے ساتھ ہجرت کی ہے اور اس مومنہ عورت کو جو اپنا نفس نبی کو بخش دے اگر نبی اس سے نکاح کرنا چاہے تو حلال کردیا ہے لیکن یہ صرف آپ کے لئے ہے باقی مومنین کے لئے نہیں ہے. ہمیں معلوم ہے کہ ہم نے ان لوگوں پر ان کی بیویوں اور کنیزوں کے بارے میں کیا فریضہ قرار دیا ہے تاکہ آپ کے لئے کوئی زحمت اور مشقّت نہ ہو اوراللہ بہت زیادہ بخشنے والا اور مہربان ہے

اے نبیؐ، ہم نے تمہارے لیے حلال کر دیں تمہاری وہ بیویاں جن کے مہر تم نے ادا کیے ہیں، اور وہ عورتیں جو اللہ کی عطا کردہ لونڈیوں میں سے تمہاری ملکیت میں آئیں، اور تمہاری وہ چچا زاد اور پھوپھی زاد اور ماموں زاد اور خالہ زاد بہنیں جنہوں نے تمہارے ساتھ ہجرت کی ہے، اور وہ مومن عورت جس نے اپنے آپ کو نبیؐ کے لیے ہبہ کیا ہو اگر نبیؐ اسے نکاح میں لینا چاہے یہ رعایت خالصۃً تمہارے لیے ہے، دوسرے مومنوں کے لیے نہیں ہے ہم کو معلوم ہے کہ عام مومنوں پر ان کی بیویوں اور لونڈیوں کے بارے میں ہم نے کیا حدود عائد کیے ہیں (تمہیں ان حدود سے ہم نے اس لیے مستثنیٰ کیا ہے) تاکہ تمہارے اوپر کوئی تنگی نہ رہے، اور اللہ غفور و رحیم ہے

اے نبی(ص)! ہم نے آپ کیلئے آپ کی وہ بیویاں حلال کر دی ہیں جن کے مہر آپ نے ادا کر دیئے ہیں اور وہ مملوکہ کنیزیں جو اللہ نے بطورِ غنیمت آپ کو عطا کی ہیں اور آپ کے چچا کی بیٹیاں اور آپ کی پھوپھیوں کی بیٹیاں اور آپ کے ماموں کی بیٹیاں اور آپ کی خالاؤں کی بیٹیاں جنہوں نے آپ کے ساتھ ہجرت کی ہے (یہ سب بھی حلال ہیں) اور اس مؤمن عورت کو بھی (حلال کیا ہے) اگر وہ اپنا نفس نبی(ص) کو ھبہ کر دے بشرطیکہ نبی(ص) بھی اس سے نکاح کرنا چاہیں یہ (اجازت) صرف آپ کیلئے ہے دوسرے مؤمنوں کیلئے نہیں ہے ہم جانتے ہیں جو (احکام) ہم نے ان پر ان کی بیویوں اور مملوکہ کنیزوں کے بارے میں مقرر کئے ہیں تاکہ آپ پر کسی قسم کی تنگی نہ ہو اور اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا، بڑا رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

Thou canst defer whom thou wilt of them and receive unto thee whom thou wilt, and whomsoever thou desirest of those whom thou hast set aside (temporarily), it is no sin for thee (to receive her again); that is better; that they may be comforted and not grieve, and may all be pleased with what thou givest them. Allah knoweth what is in your hearts (O men), and Allah is ever Forgiving, Clement.

God is All-knowing and All-forbearing.

تم کو اختیار دیا جاتا ہے کہ اپنی بیویوں میں سے جس کو چاہو اپنے سے الگ رکھو، جسے چاہو اپنے ساتھ رکھو اور جسے چاہو الگ رکھنے کے بعد اپنے پاس بلا لو اس معاملہ میں تم پر کوئی مضائقہ نہیں ہے اِس طرح زیادہ متوقع ہے کہ اُن کی آنکھیں ٹھنڈی رہیں گی اور وہ رنجیدہ نہ ہوں گی، اور جو کچھ بھی تم اُن کو دو گے اس پر وہ سب راضی رہیں گی اللہ جانتا ہے جو کچھ تم لوگوں کے دلوں میں ہے، اور اللہ علیم و حلیم ہے

(آپ کو اختیار ہے کہ) اپنی ازواج میں سے جس کو چاہیں دور کر دیں اور جس کو چاہیں اپنے پاس رکھیں اور جن کو آپ نے علیٰحدہ کر دیا تھا اگر ان میں سے کسی کو (دوبارہ) طلب کرنا چاہیں تو اس میں بھی آپ کیلئے کوئی مضائقہ نہیں ہے یہ (اختیار جو آپ کو دیا گیا ہے) اس سے قریب تر ہے کہ ان (ازواج) کی آنکھیں ٹھنڈی ہوں اور وہ رنجیدہ نہ ہوں اور آپ انہیں جو کچھ عطا فرمائیں وہ سب کی سب اس پر خوش ہو جائیں اور جو کچھ تمہارے دلوں میں ہے اللہ اسے جانتا ہے اور (بے شک) اللہ بڑا جاننے والا (اور) بڑا بردبار ہے۔
This website is a work of passion. It exists only for a couple of reasons:
1) I wanted to understand the Book without involving any second-party sources of guidance i.e. exegesis, or Asbab-e-Nuzul, or extra-Quranic ahadith, etc. 2) You must also know what the bare truth is, so we can work together.
Because the process must be transparent, the entire website is available for you to download. You can go through the code, and if you can make any improvements to this process, you are most welcome to. It is a humble request to update me regarding the improvements so I can also update myself.
