رُسُلُهُم

لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ

وَلَٰكِن

كَانُوٓا۟

أَنفُسَهُمْ

يَظْلِمُونَ

أَوَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَانُوٓا۟ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةًۭ وَأَثَارُوا۟ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَعَمَرُوهَآ أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا عَمَرُوهَا وَجَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ ۖ فَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلَٰكِن كَانُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Have they not travelled in the land and seen the nature of the consequence for those who were before them? They were stronger than these in power, and they dug the earth and built upon it more than these have built. Messengers of their own came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty). Surely Allah wronged them not, but they did wrong themselves. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Have they not travelled in the land and seen how was the fate of those who were before them? They were more powerful than them, and they plowed the earth and developed it more than they have developed it. Their apostles brought them manifest proofs. So it was not Allah who wronged them, but it was they who used to wrong themselves. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Have they not travelled through the land to see how terrible was the end of the people who lived before them. The people who lived before them were stronger than them in might, in tilling, and in developing the earth. Our Messengers came to them with clear miracles. They were stronger than these in prowess, and dug up the earth, and built on it in greater abundance than these have built on it, and there came to them their apostles with clear arguments; so it was not beseeming for Allah that He should deal with them unjustly, but they dealt unjustly with their own souls. - Shakir, Habib

اور کیا یہ لوگ کبھی زمین میں چلے پھرے نہیں ہیں کہ اِنہیں اُن لوگوں کا انجام نظر آتا جو اِن سے پہلے گزر چکے ہیں؟ وہ اِن سے زیادہ طاقت رکھتے تھے، اُنہوں نے زمین کو خوب ادھیڑا تھا اور اُسے اتنا آباد کیا تھا جتنا اِنہوں نے نہیں کیا ہے اُن کے پاس ان کے رسول روشن نشانیاں لے کر آئے پھر اللہ ان پر ظلم کرنے والا نہ تھا، مگر وہ خود ہی اپنے اوپر ظلم کر رہے تھے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور کیا انہوں نے زمین میں سفر نہ کیا کہ دیکھتے کہ ان سے اگلوں کا انجام کیسا ہوا وہ ان سے زیادہ زور آور تھے اور زمین جوتی اور آباد کی ان کی آبادی سے زیادہ اور ان کے رسول ان کے پاس روشن نشانیاں لائے تو اللہ کی شان نہ تھی کہ ان پر ظلم کرتا ہاں وہ خود ہی اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کرتے تھے - Ahmed Raza

ثُمَّ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسَٰٓـُٔوا۟ ٱلسُّوٓأَىٰٓ أَن كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَكَانُوا۟ بِهَا يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Then evil was the consequence to those who dealt in evil, because they denied the revelations of Allah and made a mock of them. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Then the fate of those who committed misdeeds was that they denied the signs of Allah and they used to deride them. - Qarai, Ali Quli

The end of the evil-doers was terrible, for they had rejected the revelations of God and mocked them. - Sarwar, Muhammad

There will be none to intercede for them of those whom they made equal with Allah. And they will reject their partners (whom they ascribed unto Him). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

None of those whom they ascribed as partners [to Allah] will intercede for them, and they will disavow their partners. - Qarai, Ali Quli

وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَلِقَآئِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ مُحْضَرُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]
⦿
But as for those who disbelieved and denied Our revelations, and denied the meeting of the Hereafter, such will be brought to doom. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

But as for those who were faithless and denied Our signs and the encounter of the Hereafter, they will be brought to the punishment. - Qarai, Ali Quli

However, the disbelievers, who called Our revelations and the Day of Judgment lies, will be brought into torment. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And as to those who disbelieved and rejected Our communications and the meeting of the hereafter, these shall be brought over to the chastisement. - Shakir, Habib
