وَمَآ أَنتَ بِهَٰدِ ٱلْعُمْىِ عَن ضَلَٰلَتِهِمْ ۖ إِن تُسْمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَهُم مُّسْلِمُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]
⦿
Nor canst thou guide the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none to hear save those who believe in Our revelations so that they surrender (unto Him). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

nor can you lead the blind out of their error. You can make only those hear who have faith in Our signs and have submitted. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Allah is He Who shaped you out of weakness, then appointed after weakness strength, then, after strength, appointed weakness and grey hair. He createth what He will. He is the Knower, the Mighty. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ يُقْسِمُ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ مَا لَبِثُوا۟ غَيْرَ سَاعَةٍۢ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كَانُوا۟ يُؤْفَكُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And on the day when the Hour riseth the guilty will vow that they did tarry but an hour - thus were they ever deceived. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

On the day when the Hour sets in, the guilty will swear that they had remained only for an hour. That is how they were used to lying [in the world]. - Qarai, Ali Quli

On the day when the Hour of Doom comes, the criminals will swear that they have remained (in their graves) for no more than an hour. They had been inventing lies in this way. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And at the time when the hour shall come, the guilty shall swear (that) they did not tarry but an hour; thus are they ever turned away. - Shakir, Habib

On the Day the Last Hour arrives, the evil-doers will swear they have not even tarried for an hour, they have always been deluded, - Wahiduddin Khan

اور جس دن قیامت قائم ہوگی اس دن مجرمین قسم کھاکر کہیں گے کہ وہ ایک ساعت سے زیادہ دنیا میں نہیںٹہرے ہیں درحقیقت یہ اسی طرح دنیا میں بھی افترا پردازیاں کیا کرتے تھے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور جب وہ ساعت برپا ہو گی تو مجرم قسمیں کھا کھا کر کہیں گے کہ ہم ایک گھڑی بھر سے زیادہ نہیں ٹھیرے ہیں، اِسی طرح وہ دنیا کی زندگی میں دھوکا کھایا کرتے تھے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور جس دن قیامت قائم ہوگی مجرم قسم کھائیں گے کہ نہ رہے تھے مگر ایک گھڑی وہ ایسے ہی اوندھے جاتے تھے - Ahmed Raza

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ وَٱلْإِيمَٰنَ لَقَدْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِى كِتَٰبِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْبَعْثِ ۖ فَهَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْبَعْثِ وَلَٰكِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

But those to whom knowledge and faith are given will say: The truth is, ye have tarried, by Allah's decree, until the Day of Resurrection. This is the Day of Resurrection, but ye used not to know. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

But those who were given knowledge and faith will say, [Certainly you remained in Allah]s Book until the Day of Resurrection. This is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not know.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

Those who have received knowledge and have faith will say, [By the decree of God, you have remained for the exact period which was mentioned in the Book of God about the Day of Resurrection. This is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not know.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

And those who are given knowledge and faith will say: Certainly you tarried according to the ordinance of Allah till the day of resurrection, so this is the day of resurrection, but you did not know. - Shakir, Habib

but those endowed with knowledge and faith will say, [Indeed, you did tarry, as God ordained, till the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection: but you were not aware of it.] - Wahiduddin Khan

اور جن لوگوں کو علم اور ایمان دیا گیا ہے وہ کہیں گے کہ تم لوگ کتاب خدا کے مطابق قیامت کے دن تک ٹہرے رہے تو یہ قیامت کا دن ہے لیکن تم لوگ بے خبر بنے ہوئے ہو - Jawadi, Zeeshan

مگر جو علم اور ایمان سے بہرہ مند کیے گئے تھے وہ کہیں گے کہ خدا کے نوشتے میں تو تم روزِ حشر تک پڑے رہے ہو، سو یہ وہی روزِ حشر ہے، لیکن تم جانتے نہ تھے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

In that day their excuses will not profit those who did injustice, nor will they be allowed to make amends. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

On that day, the excuses of the wrongdoers will not benefit them, nor will they be asked to propitiate [Allah]. - Qarai, Ali Quli

The excuses of the unjust on this day will be of no avail to them and they will not be able to please God. - Sarwar, Muhammad

وَلَقَدْ ضَرَبْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِى هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٍۢ ۚ وَلَئِن جِئْتَهُم بِـَٔايَةٍۢ لَّيَقُولَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا مُبْطِلُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Verily We have coined for mankind in this Qur'an all kinds of similitudes; and indeed if thou camest unto them with a miracle, those who disbelieve would verily exclaim: Ye are but tricksters! - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Certainly we have drawn for mankind in this Quran every [kind of] parable. Indeed if you bring them a sign, the faithless will surely say, [You are nothing but fabricators!] - Qarai, Ali Quli

We have told people various parables in this Quran. Even if you had shown them a miracle, the unbelievers would have said, [You are only the followers of falsehood]. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
And certainly We have set forth for men every kind of example in this Quran; and if you should bring them a communication, those who disbelieve would certainly say: You are naught but false claimants. - Shakir, Habib

Truly, We have set forth for men in this Quran every kind of parable and indeed, if you bring them a sign, those who are bent on denying the truth are sure to say, [You are only making false claims!] - Wahiduddin Khan

اور بیشک ہم نے لوگوں کے لیے اس قرآن میں ہر قسم کی مثال بیان فرمائی اور اگر تم ان کے پاس کوئی نشانی لاؤ تو ضرور کافر کہیں گے تم تو نہیں مگر باطل پر، - Ahmed Raza
