وَمُصَدِّقًۭا
[And (I am) a source of confirmation (and disconfirmation)
لِّمَا
for what is
بَيْنَ
between
يَدَىَّ
your hands
مِنَ
of
ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ
the Jurisprudence,
وَلِأُحِلَّ
and to allow
لَكُم
for you
بَعْضَ
some of
ٱلَّذِى
that which
حُرِّمَ
was forbidden
عَلَيْكُمْ
upon you;
ۚ
وَجِئْتُكُم
and I come to you
بِـَٔايَةٍۢ
with signs
مِّن
of
رَّبِّكُمْ
your Rabb,
فَٱتَّقُوا۟
thus be aware of
ٱللَّهَ
the One
وَأَطِيعُونِ
and be obedient.]
٣
٥٠
وَمُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَىَّ مِنَ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ وَلِأُحِلَّ لَكُم بَعْضَ ٱلَّذِى حُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ وَجِئْتُكُم بِـَٔايَةٍۢ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ [And (I am) a source of confirmation (and disconfirmation) for what is between your hands of the Jurisprudence, and to allow for you some of that which was forbidden upon you; and I come to you with signs of your Rabb, thus be aware of the One and be obedient.]

And (I come) confirming that which was before me of the Torah, and to make lawful some of that which was forbidden unto you. I come unto you with a sign from your Lord, so keep your duty to Allah and obey me. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And [I come] to confirm [the truth of] that which is before me of the Torah, and to make lawful for you some of the things that were forbidden you. I have brought you a sign from your Lord; so be wary of Allah and obey me. - Qarai, Ali Quli

[I testify to what is true in the Torah and make lawful for you some of the things that were made unlawful. I have brought you a miracle from your Lord. Have fear of God and obey me. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And a verifier of that which is before me of the Taurat and that I may allow you part of that which has been forbidden t you, and I have come to you with a sign from your Lord therefore be careful of (your duty to) Allah and obey me. - Shakir, Habib

I come to fulfill [the prediction] of the Torah which preceded me and to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you and I come to you with a sign from your Lord. So fear God and obey me. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور میں اپنے پہلے کی کتاب توریت کی تصدیق کرنے والا ہوں اور میں بعض ان چیزوں کو حلال قرار دوں گا جو تم پر حرام تھیں اور تمھارے پروردگار کی طرف سے نشانی لے کر آیا ہوں لہذا اس سے ڈرو اور میری اطاعت کرو - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور میں اُس تعلیم و ہدایت کی تصدیق کرنے والا بن کر آیا ہوں جو تورات میں سے اِس وقت میرے زمانہ میں موجود ہے اوراس لیے آیا ہوں کہ تمہارے لیے بعض اُن چیزوں کو حلال کر دوں جو تم پر حرام کر دی گئی ہیں دیکھو، میں تمہارے رب کی طرف سے تمہارے پاس نشانی لے کر آیا ہوں، لہٰذا اللہ سے ڈرو اور میر ی اطاعت کرو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور تصدیق کرتا آیا ہوں اپنے سے پہلے کتاب توریت کی اور اس لئے کہ حلال کروں تمہارے لئے کچھ وہ چیزیں جو تم پر حرام تھیں اور میں تمہارے پاس پاس تمہارے رب کی طرف سے نشانی لایا ہوں، تو اللہ سے ڈرو اور میرا حکم مانو، - Ahmed Raza

اور جو مجھ سے پہلے (توراۃ) موجود ہے میں اس کی تصدیق کرتا ہوں اور (میرے آنے کا ایک مقصد یہ بھی ہے کہ) میں تمہارے لئے ان چیزوں میں سے بعض کو حلال کروں جو تم پر حرام تھیں۔ اور میں تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے اعجاز کے ساتھ تمہارے پاس آیا ہوں۔ لہٰذا اللہ (کی نافرمانی) سے ڈرو۔ اور میری اطاعت کرو۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

إِنَّ
[Surely
ٱللَّهَ
the One is
رَبِّى
my Rabb
وَرَبُّكُمْ
and your Rabb,
فَٱعْبُدُوهُ
thus be in His servitude;
ۗ
هَٰذَا
this is
صِرَٰطٌۭ
a path that is
مُّسْتَقِيمٌۭ
stable.]
[Surely the One is my Rabb and your Rabb, thus be in His servitude; this is a path that is stable.]

Lo! Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

فَلَمَّآ
Then when
أَحَسَّ
felt
عِيسَىٰ
Essa
مِنْهُمُ
from them
ٱلْكُفْرَ
the denial,
قَالَ
he said,
مَنْ
[Who is
أَنصَارِىٓ
my helper
إِلَى
towards
ٱللَّهِ
the One?]
ۖ
قَالَ
Replied
ٱلْحَوَارِيُّونَ
the energetic companions,
نَحْنُ
[We are
أَنصَارُ
helpers of
ٱللَّهِ
the One,
ءَامَنَّا
having trust
بِٱللَّهِ
about the One
وَٱشْهَدْ
and testify
بِأَنَّا
about us
مُسْلِمُونَ
being in submission.]
٣
٥٢
فَلَمَّآ أَحَسَّ عِيسَىٰ مِنْهُمُ ٱلْكُفْرَ قَالَ مَنْ أَنصَارِىٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ قَالَ ٱلْحَوَارِيُّونَ نَحْنُ أَنصَارُ ٱللَّهِ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَٱشْهَدْ بِأَنَّا مُسْلِمُونَ Then when felt Essa from them the denial, he said, [Who is my helper towards the One?] Replied the energetic companions, [We are helpers of the One, having trust about the One and testify about us being in submission.]

But when Jesus became conscious of their disbelief, he cried: Who will be my helpers in the cause of Allah? The disciples said: We will be Allah's helpers. We believe in Allah, and bear thou witness that we have surrendered (unto Him). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

When Jesus sensed their faithlessness, he said, [Who will be my helpers [on the path] toward Allah?] The Disciples said, [We will be helpers of Allah. We have faith in Allah, and you be witness that we have submitted [to Him]. - Qarai, Ali Quli

When Jesus found them denying the truth, he said, [Who will help me in the cause of God?] The disciples replied, [We are the helpers of God. We believe in Him. Jesus, bear witness that we have submitted ourselves to His will.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

But when Isa perceived unbelief on their part, he said Who will be my helpers in Allah's way? The disciples said: We are helpers (in the way) of Allah: We believe in Allah and bear witness that we are submitting ones. - Shakir, Habib

When Jesus perceived their denial, he said, [Who will be my helpers in God's cause?] The disciples said, [We are God's helpers, we believe in God. Bear witness that we have surrendered ourselves. - Wahiduddin Khan

پھر جب عیسٰی علیھ السّلام نے قوم سے کفر کا احساس کیا تو فرمایا کہ کون ہے جو خدا کی راہ میں میرا مددگار ہو...حواریین نے کہا کہ ہم اللہ کے مددگار ہیں- اس پر ایمان لائے ہیں اور آپ گواہ رہیں کہ ہم مسلمان ہیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

جب عیسیٰؑ نے محسوس کیا کہ بنی اسرائیل کفر و انکار پر آمادہ ہیں تو اس نے کہا ——کون اللہ کی راہ میں میرا مدد گار ہوتا ہے؟—— حواریوں نے جواب دیا، ——ہم اللہ کے مددگار ہیں، ہم اللہ پر ایمان لائے، گواہ رہو کہ ہم مسلم (اللہ کے آگے سر اطاعت جھکا دینے والے) ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

پھر جب عیسیٰ نے ان سے کفر پایا بولا کون میرے مددگار ہوتے ہیں اللہ کی طرف، حواریوں نے کہا ہم دینِ خدا کے مددگار ہیں ہم اللہ پر ایمان لائے، اور آپ گواہ ہوجائیں کہ ہم مسلمان ہیں - Ahmed Raza

پھر جب عیسیٰ نے ان (بنی اسرائیل) کی طرف سے کفر و انکار محسوس کیا۔ تو کہا کون ہے جو اللہ کی راہ میں میرا مددگار ہو؟ حواریوں نے کہا ہم اللہ کے مددگار ہیں۔ ہم اللہ پر ایمان لائے ہیں اور آپ گواہ رہیں کہ ہم مسلمان (فرمانبردار) ہیں۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

[Our Rabb
ءَامَنَّا
we believe
بِمَآ
with what
أَنزَلْتَ
You sent down,
وَٱتَّبَعْنَا
and we obey
ٱلرَّسُولَ
the messenger,
فَٱكْتُبْنَا
thus Write us
مَعَ
along
ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ
the witnesses.]
[Our Rabb we believe with what You sent down, and we obey the messenger, thus Write us along the witnesses.]

Our Lord! We believe in that which Thou hast revealed and we follow him whom Thou hast sent. Enrol us among those who witness (to the truth). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Our Lord, we believe in what You have sent down, and we follow the apostle, so write us among the witnesses.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

They prayed, [Lord, we have believed in what You have revealed to Your Messenger and we have followed him. Write down our names with those who testify in support of the Truth.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

Our Lord! we believe in what Thou hast revealed and we follow the apostle, so write us down with those who bear witness. - Shakir, Habib

Our Lord, we believe in what You have sent down and we follow the messenger, so count us among those who bear witness.] - Wahiduddin Khan

پروردگار ہم ان تمام باتوں پر ایمان لے آئے جو تو نے نازل کی ہیں اور تیرے رسول کا اتباع کیا لہذا ہمارا نام اپنے رسول کے گواہوں میں درج کرلے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

مالک! جو فرمان تو نے نازل کیا ہے ہم نے اسے مان لیا اور رسول کی پیروی قبول کی، ہمارا نام گواہی دینے والوں میں لکھ لے—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اے رب ہمارے! ہم اس پر ایمان لائے جو تو نے اتارا اور رسول کے تابع ہوئے تو ہمیں حق پر گواہی دینے والوں میں لکھ لے، - Ahmed Raza

وَمَكَرُوا۟
And they plan,
وَمَكَرَ
and plans
ٱللَّهُ
the One;
ۖ
وَٱللَّهُ
and the One is
خَيْرُ
best of
ٱلْمَٰكِرِينَ
the planners.
And they plan, and plans the One; and the One is best of the planners.
⦿
And they (the disbelievers) schemed, and Allah schemed (against them): and Allah is the best of schemers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Then they plotted [against Jesus], and Allah also devised, and Allah is the best of devisers. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
The unbelievers plotted and God planned, but God is a much better planner; - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
And they planned and Allah (also) planned, and Allah is the best of planners. - Shakir, Habib
⦿
And they schemed but God also schemed and God is the Best of Schemers. - Wahiduddin Khan
⦿
اور یہودیوں نے عیسٰی علیھ السّلام سے مکاری کی تو اللہ نے بھی جوابی تدبیر کی اور خدا بہترین تدبیر کرنے والا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

پھر بنی اسرائیل (مسیح کے خلاف) خفیہ تدبیریں کرنے لگے جواب میں اللہ نے بھی اپنی خفیہ تدبیر کی اور ایسی تدبیروں میں اللہ سب سے بڑھ کر ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور کافروں نے مکر کیا اور اللہ نے ان کے ہلاک کی خفیہ تدبیر فرمائی اور اللہ سب سے بہتر چھپی تدبیر والا ہے - Ahmed Raza

انہوں (بنی اسرائیل) نے (عیسیٰ کے خلاف) مکاری کی اور اللہ نے بھی اپنی (جوابی) تدبیر و ترکیب کی۔ اور اللہ سب سے بہتر تدبیر و ترکیب کرنے والا ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

When
قَالَ
said
ٱللَّهُ
the One,
يَٰعِيسَىٰٓ
[O Essa!
إِنِّى
I am
مُتَوَفِّيكَ
to complete you
وَرَافِعُكَ
and will uplift you
إِلَىَّ
towards Me,
وَمُطَهِّرُكَ
and will clear you
مِنَ
from
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
كَفَرُوا۟
are in denial,
وَجَاعِلُ
and will make
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
ٱتَّبَعُوكَ
adhere to you
فَوْقَ
higher than
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
كَفَرُوٓا۟
are in denial
إِلَىٰ
at
يَوْمِ
day of
ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
the establishment;
ۖ
ثُمَّ
but then
إِلَىَّ
towards Me
مَرْجِعُكُمْ
you all are to come back,
فَأَحْكُمُ
then I will judge
بَيْنَكُمْ
between you all
فِيمَا
in what
كُنتُمْ
you happened to be
فِيهِ
in it
تَخْتَلِفُونَ
conflicting.]
٣
٥٥
إِذْ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ يَٰعِيسَىٰٓ إِنِّى مُتَوَفِّيكَ وَرَافِعُكَ إِلَىَّ وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَجَاعِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوكَ فَوْقَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَىَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ فِيمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ When said the One, [O Essa! I am to complete you and will uplift you towards Me, and will clear you from the ones who are in denial, and will make the ones who adhere to you higher than the ones who are in denial at day of the establishment; but then towards Me you all are to come back, then I will judge between you all in what you happened to be in it conflicting.]

(And remember) when Allah said: O Jesus! Lo! I am gathering thee and causing thee to ascend unto Me, and am cleansing thee of those who disbelieve and am setting those who follow thee above those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then unto Me ye will (all) return, and I shall judge between you as to that wherein ye used to differ. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

When Allah said, [O Jesus, I shall take you[r soul], and I shall raise you up toward Myself, and I shall clear you of [the calumnies of] the faithless, and I shall set those who follow you above the faithless until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me will be your return, whereat I will judge between you concerning that about which you used to differ. - Qarai, Ali Quli

He told Jesus, [I will save you from your enemies, raise you to Myself, keep you clean from the association with the disbelievers, and give superiority to your followers over the unbelievers until the Day of Judgment. On that day you will all return to Me and I shall resolve your dispute. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
And when Allah said: O Isa, I am going to terminate the period of your stay (on earth) and cause you to ascend unto Me and purify you of those who disbelieve and make those who follow you above those who disbelieve to the day of resurrection; then to Me shall be your return, so l will decide between you concerning that in which you differed. - Shakir, Habib

God said, [O Jesus, I shall take you to Me and will raise you up to Me and shall clear you [of the calumnies] of the disbelievers, and shall place those who follow you above those who deny the truth, until the Day of Judgement; then to Me shall all return and I will judge between you regarding your disputes. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور جب خدا نے فرمایا کہ عیسٰی علیھ السّلام ہم تمہاری مدّاُ قیام دنیا پوری کرنے والے اور تمہیں اپنی طرف اُٹھالینے والے اور تمھیں کفار کی خباثت سے نجات دلانے والے اور تمھاری پیروی کرنے والوں کو انکار کرنے والوں پر قیامت تک کی برتری دینے والے ہیں- اس کے بعد تم سب کی بازگشت ہماری طرف ہوگی اور ہم تمہارے اختلافات کا صحیح فیصلہ کردیں گے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

(وہ اللہ کی خفیہ تدبیر ہی تھی) جب اُس نے کہا کہ، ——اے عیسیٰؑ! اب میں تجھے واپس لے لوں گا اور تجھ کو اپنی طرف اٹھا لوں گا اور جنہوں نے تیرا انکار کیا ہے اُن سے (یعنی ان کی معیت سے اور ان کے گندے ماحول میں ان کے ساتھ رہنے سے) تجھے پاک کر دوں گا اور تیری پیروی کرنے والوں کو قیامت تک ان لوگوں پر بالادست رکھوں گا جنہوں نے تیرا انکار کیا ہے پھر تم سب کو آخر میرے پاس آنا ہے، اُس وقت میں اُن باتوں کا فیصلہ کر دوں گا جن میں تمہارے درمیان اختلاف ہوا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

یاد کرو جب اللہ نے فرمایا اے عیسیٰ میں تجھے پوری عمر تک پہنچاؤں گا اور تجھے اپنی طرف اٹھالوں گا اور تجھے کافروں سے پاک کردوں گا اور تیرے پیروؤں کو قیامت تک تیرے منکروں پر غلبہ دوں گا پھر تم سب میری طرف پلٹ کر آؤ گے تو میں تم میں فیصلہ فرمادوں گا جس بات میں جھگڑتے ہو، - Ahmed Raza

(اس وقت کو یاد کرو) جب اللہ نے کہا (اے عیسیٰ) میں تمہیں پورا قبض کرنے والا اور تمہیں اپنی جانب اٹھانے والا ہوں اور تمہیں کافروں سے پاک کرنے والا ہوں اور تمہاری پیروی کرنے والوں کو کافروں پر قیامت تک غالب اور برتر کرنے والا ہوں۔ پھر تم سب کی بازگشت میری طرف ہے تو اس وقت میں تمہارے درمیان ان باتوں کا فیصلہ کروں گا جن میں تم اختلاف کرتے تھے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

فَأَمَّا
Then as for
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
كَفَرُوا۟
are in denial,
فَأُعَذِّبُهُمْ
thus a punishment
عَذَابًۭا
that is painful
شَدِيدًۭا
severely
فِى
in
ٱلدُّنْيَا
the World
وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ
and the forth-coming,
وَمَا
and not
لَهُم
for them are
مِّن
of
نَّٰصِرِينَ
any helpers.
٣
٥٦
فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فَأُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًۭا شَدِيدًۭا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّٰصِرِينَ Then as for the ones who are in denial, thus a punishment that is painful severely in the World and the forth-coming, and not for them are of any helpers.

As for those who disbelieve I shall chastise them with a heavy chastisement in the world and the Hereafter; and they will have no helpers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

وَأَمَّا
And as for
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
ءَامَنُوا۟
have trust
وَعَمِلُوا۟
and did
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
the constructive things
فَيُوَفِّيهِمْ
then they will be paid in full
أُجُورَهُمْ
their rewards;
ۗ
وَٱللَّهُ
and the One
لَا
not
يُحِبُّ
loves
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
the people in delusions.
٣
٥٧
وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَيُوَفِّيهِمْ أُجُورَهُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ And as for the ones who have trust and did the constructive things then they will be paid in full their rewards; and the One not loves the people in delusions.

And as for those who believe and do good works, He will pay them their wages in full. Allah loveth not wrong-doers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

But as for those who have faith and do righteous deeds, He will pay them in full their rewards, and Allah does not like the wrongdoers. - Qarai, Ali Quli

However, to the righteously striving believers I shall give their reward in full measure.] God does not love the unjust. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And as to those who believe and do good deeds, He will pay them fully their rewards; and Allah does not love the unjust. - Shakir, Habib

ذَٰلِكَ
That,
نَتْلُوهُ
We recite it
عَلَيْكَ
upon you
مِنَ
from
ٱلْـَٔايَٰتِ
the signs
وَٱلذِّكْرِ
and the reminder of
ٱلْحَكِيمِ
the Most Wise.
That, We recite it upon you from the signs and the reminder of the Most Wise.

This (which) We recite unto thee is a revelation and a wise reminder. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

إِنَّ
Surely
مَثَلَ
example of
عِيسَىٰ
Essa
عِندَ
for
ٱللَّهِ
the One is
كَمَثَلِ
like an example of
ءَادَمَ
Adam;
ۖ
خَلَقَهُۥ
created him
مِن
from
تُرَابٍۢ
dust,
ثُمَّ
then
قَالَ
said
لَهُۥ
to him,
كُن
[Be!],
فَيَكُونُ
so he started to become.
٣
٥٩
إِنَّ مَثَلَ عِيسَىٰ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ ءَادَمَ ۖ خَلَقَهُۥ مِن تُرَابٍۢ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ Surely example of Essa for the One is like an example of Adam; created him from dust, then said to him, [Be!], so he started to become.

Lo! the likeness of Jesus with Allah is as the likeness of Adam. He created him of dust, then He said unto him: Be! and he is. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Indeed the case of Jesus with Allah is like the case of Adam: He created him from dust, then said to him, [Be,] and he was. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
To God the case of Jesus is as that of Adam whom He created from the earth and then said, [Exist,] and Adam came into existence. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Surely the likeness of Isa is with Allah as the likeness of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him, Be, and he was. - Shakir, Habib

عیسٰی علیھ السّلام کی مثال اللہ کے نزدیک آدم علیھ السّلام جیسی ہے کہ انہیں مٹی سے پیدا کیا اور پھر کہا ہوجا اور وہ ہوگیا - Jawadi, Zeeshan

The truth is
مِن

رَّبِّكَ
your Rabb
فَلَا

the disputers.
The truth is from your Rabb so do not be from the disputers.

(This is) the truth from thy Lord (O Muhammad), so be not thou of those who waver. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Then who
حَآجَّكَ
argues you
فِيهِ
in it
مِنۢ

بَعْدِ

جَآءَكَ
came to you
مِنَ

ٱلْعِلْمِ
the knowledge
فَقُلْ
then say,
تَعَالَوْا۟
[Come on,
نَدْعُ
let us call
أَبْنَآءَنَا
our sons
وَأَبْنَآءَكُمْ
and your sons
وَنِسَآءَنَا
and our weaker ones
وَنِسَآءَكُمْ
and your weaker ones,
وَأَنفُسَنَا
and ourselves
وَأَنفُسَكُمْ
and yourselves,
ثُمَّ
then
نَبْتَهِلْ
let us implore that
فَنَجْعَل
thus become affixed
لَّعْنَتَ
banishment of
ٱللَّهِ
the One
عَلَى
upon
ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ
the liars.]
٣
٦١
فَمَنْ حَآجَّكَ فِيهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ فَقُلْ تَعَالَوْا۟ نَدْعُ أَبْنَآءَنَا وَأَبْنَآءَكُمْ وَنِسَآءَنَا وَنِسَآءَكُمْ وَأَنفُسَنَا وَأَنفُسَكُمْ ثُمَّ نَبْتَهِلْ فَنَجْعَل لَّعْنَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَى ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ Then who argues you in it from after what came to you of the knowledge then say, [Come on, let us call our sons and your sons and our weaker ones and your weaker ones, and ourselves and yourselves, then let us implore that thus become affixed banishment of the One upon the liars.]
⦿
And whoso disputeth with thee concerning him, after the knowledge which hath come unto thee, say (unto him): Come! We will summon our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves, then we will pray humbly (to our Lord) and (solemnly) invoke the curse of Allah upon those who lie. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Should anyone argue with you concerning him, after the knowledge that has come to you, say, [Come! Let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, our souls and your souls, then let us pray earnestly, and call down Allah]s curse upon the liars.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

If anyone disputes (your prophesy) after knowledge has come to you, say, [Let each of us bring our children, women, our people, and ourselves to one place and pray to God to condemn the liars among us.] - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
But whoever disputes with you in this matter after what has come to you of knowledge, then say: Come let us call our sons and your sons and our women and your women and our near people and your near people, then let us be earnest in prayer, and pray for the curse of Allah on the liars. - Shakir, Habib

And if anyone should argue with you about this [truth] after the knowledge you have received, say to them, [Come! Let us gather our sons and your sons, our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves; and then let us pray earnestly and invoke the curse of God upon the liars. - Wahiduddin Khan

پیغمبر علم کے آجانے کے بعد جو لوگ تم سے کٹ حجتی کریں ان سے کہہ دیجئے کہ آؤ ہم لوگ اپنے اپنے فرزند, اپنی اپنی عورتوں اور اپنے اپنے نفسوں کو بلائیں اور پھر خدا کی بارگاہ میں دعا کریں اور جھوٹوں پر خدا کی لعنت قرار دیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

یہ علم آ جانے کے بعد اب کوئی اس معاملہ میں تم سے جھگڑا کرے تو اے محمدؐ! اس سے کہو، ——آؤ ہم اور تم خود بھی آ جائیں اور اپنے اپنے بال بچوں کو بھی لے آئیں اور خد ا سے دعا کریں کہ جو جھوٹا ہو اُس پر خدا کی لعنت ہو—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

پھر اے محبوب! جو تم سے عیسیٰ کے بارے میں حجت کریں بعد اس کے کہ تمہیں علم آچکا تو ان سے فرما دو آ ؤ ہم بلائیں اپنے بیٹے اور تمہارے بیٹے اور اپنی عورتیں اور تمہاری عورتیں اور اپنی جانیں اور تمہاری جانیں، پھر مباہلہ کریں تو جھوٹوں پر اللہ کی لعنت ڈالیں - Ahmed Raza

(اے پیغمبر(ص)) اس معاملہ میں تمہارے پاس صحیح علم آجانے کے بعد جو آپ سے حجت بازی کرے تو آپ ان سے کہیں کہ آؤ ہم اپنے اپنے بیٹوں، اپنی اپنی عورتوں اور اپنے اپنے نفسوں کو بلائیں اور پھر مباہلہ کریں (بارگاہِ خدا میں دعا و التجا کریں) اور جھوٹوں پر خدا کی لعنت قرار دیں۔ (یعنی ہم اپنے بیٹوں کو بلائیں تم اپنے بیٹوں کو، ہم اپنی عورتوں کو بلائیں تم اپنی عورتوں کو اور ہم اپنے نفسوں کو بلائیں تم اپنے نفسوں کو پھر اللہ کے سامنے گڑگڑائیں اور جھوٹوں پر خدا کی لعنت کریں)۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

إِلَّا
except
ٱللَّهُ
the One;
ۚ
وَإِنَّ
and indeed
ٱللَّهَ
the One
لَهُوَ
is that who is
ٱلْعَزِيزُ
Most Fortified,
ٱلْحَكِيمُ
Most Wise.

٦٢
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلْقَصَصُ ٱلْحَقُّ ۚ وَمَا مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ۚ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ Surely this is of the stories of them being factual; and not are from masters, except the One; and indeed the One is that who is Most Fortified, Most Wise.

Lo! This verily is the true narrative. There is no Allah save Allah, and lo! Allah, He verily is, is the Mighty, the Wise. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

This is indeed the true account, for sure. There is no god but Allah, and indeed Allah is the All-mighty, the All-wise. - Qarai, Ali Quli

یہ بالکل صحیح واقعات ہیں، اور حقیقت یہ ہے کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی خداوند نہیں ہے، اور وہ اللہ ہی کی ہستی ہے جس کی طاقت سب سے بالا اور جس کی حکمت نظام عالم میں کار فرما ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

فَإِن
Then if
تَوَلَّوْا۟
you turn back
فَإِنَّ
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
the One is
عَلِيمٌۢ
knowing
بِٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ
about the corruptors.
Then if you turn back then indeed the One is knowing about the corruptors.

And if they turn away, then lo! Allah is Aware of (who are) the corrupters. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

But if they turn away, indeed Allah knows best the agents of corruption. - Qarai, Ali Quli

If they turn away (from the Truth, let it be known that) God knows well the evil-doers. - Sarwar, Muhammad

اب اس کے بعد بھی یہ لوگ انحراف کریں تو خدا مفسدین کو خوب جانتا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

پس اگر یہ لوگ (اِس شرط پر مقابلہ میں آنے سے) منہ موڑیں تو (اُن کا مفسد ہونا صاف کھل جائے گا) اور اللہ تو مفسدوں کے حال سے واقف ہی ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

پھر اگر وہ منہ پھیریں تو اللہ فسادیوں کو جانتا ہے، - Ahmed Raza

قُلْ
Say,
يَٰٓأَهْلَ
[O holders of
ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
the Book!
تَعَالَوْا۟
Come on
إِلَىٰ
towards
كَلِمَةٍۢ
a statement
سَوَآءٍۭ
that is equal
بَيْنَنَا
between us
وَبَيْنَكُمْ
and between you,
أَلَّا
that not
نَعْبُدَ
we serve
إِلَّا
except
ٱللَّهَ
the One,
وَلَا
and not
نُشْرِكَ
we associate
بِهِۦ
with Him
شَيْـًۭٔا
a thing,
وَلَا
and not
يَتَّخِذَ
take
بَعْضُنَا
some of us
بَعْضًا
some other ones,
أَرْبَابًۭا
as gods
مِّن
from
دُونِ
lower than
ٱللَّهِ
the One.],
ۚ
فَإِن
then if
تَوَلَّوْا۟
they turn back
فَقُولُوا۟
thus say,
ٱشْهَدُوا۟
[Bear witness
بِأَنَّا
about us
مُسْلِمُونَ
being in submission.]
٣
٦٤
قُلْ يَٰٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ تَعَالَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ كَلِمَةٍۢ سَوَآءٍۭ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ أَلَّا نَعْبُدَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ وَلَا نُشْرِكَ بِهِۦ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا يَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُنَا بَعْضًا أَرْبَابًۭا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَقُولُوا۟ ٱشْهَدُوا۟ بِأَنَّا مُسْلِمُونَ Say, [O holders of the Book! Come on towards a statement that is equal between us and between you, that not we serve except the One, and not we associate with Him a thing, and not take some of us some other ones, as gods from lower than the One.], then if they turn back thus say, [Bear witness about us being in submission.]

Say: O People of the Scripture! Come to an agreement between us and you: that we shall worship none but Allah, and that we shall ascribe no partner unto Him, and that none of us shall take others for lords beside Allah. And if they turn away, then say: Bear witness that we are they who have surrendered (unto Him). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Say, [O People of the Book! Come to a common word between us and you: that we will worship no one but Allah, that we will not ascribe any partner to Him, and that some of us will not take some others as lords besides Allah.] But if they turn away, say, [Be witnesses that we have submitted [to Allah].] - Qarai, Ali Quli

(Muhammad), say to the People of the Book, [We must come to a common term. Let us worship no one except God, nor consider anything equal to Him, nor regard any of us as our Lord besides God.] However, if they turn away from (the Truth), tell them, [Bear witness that we have submitted ourselves to the will of God.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

Say: O followers of the Book! come to an equitable proposition between us and you that we shall not serve any but Allah and (that) we shall not associate aught with Him, and (that) some of us shall not take others for lords besides Allah; but if they turn back, then say: Bear witness that we are Muslims. - Shakir, Habib

Say, [People of the Book, let us come to a word common to us that we shall worship none but God and that we shall associate no partner with Him and that none of us shall take others, besides God, for lords.] And if they turn away, say, [Bear witness that we have submitted to God.] - Wahiduddin Khan

اے پیغمبر آپ کہہ دیں کہ اہلِ کتاب آؤ ایک منصفانہ کلمہ پر اتفاق کرلیں کہ خدا کے علاوہ کسی کی عبادت نہ کریں کسی کو اس کا شریک نہ بنائیں آپس میں ایک دوسرے کو خدائی کا درجہ نہ دیں اور اس کے بعد بھی یہ لوگ منہ موڑیں تو کہہ دیجئے کہ تم لوگ بھی گواہ رہنا کہ ہم لوگ حقیقی مسلمان اور اطاعت گزار ہیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

کہو، ——اے اہل کتاب! آؤ ایک ایسی بات کی طرف جو ہمارے اور تمہارے درمیان یکساں ہے یہ کہ ہم اللہ کے سوا کسی کی بندگی نہ کریں، اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ ٹھیرائیں، اور ہم میں سے کوئی اللہ کے سوا کسی کو اپنا رب نہ بنا لے—— اس دعوت کو قبول کرنے سے اگر وہ منہ موڑیں تو صاف کہہ دو کہ گواہ رہو، ہم تو مسلم (صرف خدا کی بندگی و اطاعت کرنے والے) ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

تم فرماؤ، اے کتابیو! ایسے کلمہ کی طرف آؤ جو ہم میں تم میں یکساں ہے یہ کہ عبادت نہ کریں مگر خدا کی اور اس کا شریک کسی کو نہ کریں اور ہم میں کوئی ایک دوسرے کو رب نہ بنالے اللہ کے سوا پھر اگر وہ نہ مانیں تو کہہ دو تم گواہ رہو کہ ہم مسلمان ہیں، - Ahmed Raza

(اے رسول) کہیے اے اہل کتاب! آؤ ایک ایسی بات کی طرف جو ہمارے اور تمہارے درمیان مشترک اور یکساں ہے (اور وہ یہ کہ) ہم اللہ کے سوا کسی کی عبادت نہ کریں۔ اور کسی کو اس کا شریک نہ بنائیں، اور ہم میں سے کوئی کسی کو اللہ کے سوا اپنا رب (مالک و مختار) نہ بنائے۔ اور اگر یہ لوگ اس (دعوت) سے منہ موڑیں تو (اے مسلمانو) تم کہہ دو کہ گواہ رہنا ہم مسلمان (خدا کے فرمانبردار و اطاعت گزار ہیں)۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

يَٰٓأَهْلَ
O holders of
ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
the Book!
لِمَ
For what
تُحَآجُّونَ
do you argue
فِىٓ
in (matter of)
إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
Ibrahim,
وَمَآ
and what
أُنزِلَتِ
We descended of
ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةُ
the Law
وَٱلْإِنجِيلُ
and the Modern Knowledge
إِلَّا
except
مِنۢ
from
بَعْدِهِۦٓ
after him?
ۚ
أَفَلَا
Why then not
تَعْقِلُونَ
you use reason?

٦٥
يَٰٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لِمَ تُحَآجُّونَ فِىٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَتِ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةُ وَٱلْإِنجِيلُ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦٓ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ O holders of the Book! For what do you argue in (matter of) Ibrahim, and what We descended of the Law and the Modern Knowledge except from after him? Why then not you use reason?

O People of the Scripture! Why will ye argue about Abraham, when the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed till after him? Have ye then no sense? - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O People of the Book! Why do you argue concerning Abraham? Neither the Torah nor the Evangel were sent down until [long] after him. Do you not exercise your reason? - Qarai, Ali Quli

Ask the People of the Book, [Why do you argue about Abraham? The Torah and Gospel were revealed only after him. Why do you not understand? - Sarwar, Muhammad

O followers of the Book! why do you dispute about Ibrahim, when the Taurat and the Injeel were not revealed till after him; do you not then understand? - Shakir, Habib
