When thou didst say unto the believers: Is it not sufficient for you that your Lord should support you with three thousand angels sent down (to your help)? - Pickthall, Marmaduke

بَلَىٰٓ ۚ إِن تَصْبِرُوا۟ وَتَتَّقُوا۟ وَيَأْتُوكُم مِّن فَوْرِهِمْ هَٰذَا يُمْدِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُم بِخَمْسَةِ ءَالَٰفٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ مُسَوِّمِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Nay, but if ye persevere, and keep from evil, and (the enemy) attack you suddenly, your Lord will help you with five thousand angels sweeping on. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Yes, if you are steadfast and Godwary, and should they come at you suddenly, your Lord will aid you with five thousand angels sent in [to the scene of battle]. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Certainly, if you have patience and piety, even if the enemy attacks immediately after this, God will help you with another force of five thousand angels, all splendidly (and or distinctly marked) dressed. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Allah ordained this only as a message of good cheer for you, and that thereby your hearts might be at rest - Victory cometh only from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise - - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Allah did not appoint it but as a good news for you and to reassure with it your hearts; and victory comes only from Allah, the All-mighty, the All-wise, - Qarai, Ali Quli

The sending of the angels is a glad news from your Lord so that you would have more confidence in Him. No victory is real unless it is from God, the Majestic and All-wise. - Sarwar, Muhammad

That He may cut off a part of those who disbelieve, or overwhelm them so that they retire, frustrated. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ ٱلْأَمْرِ شَىْءٌ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ ظَٰلِمُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]
⦿
It is no concern at all of thee (Muhammad) whether He relent toward them or punish them; for they are evil-doers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

You have no hand in the matter, whether He accepts their repentance or punishes them, for they are indeed wrongdoers. - Qarai, Ali Quli

He gives pardon
لِمَن
to whomever
يَشَآءُ
He desires,
وَيُعَذِّبُ
and He punishes
مَن
who
يَشَآءُ
He desires,
ۚ
وَٱللَّهُ
and the One is
غَفُورٌۭ
oft forgiving,
رَّحِيمٌۭ
merciful.

١٢٩
وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ يَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ And for the One is what is within the atmos and what is within the land. He gives pardon to whomever He desires, and He punishes who He desires, and the One is oft forgiving, merciful.

Unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. He forgiveth whom He will, and punisheth whom He will. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O ye who believe! Devour not usury, doubling and quadrupling (the sum lent). Observe your duty to Allah, that ye may be successful. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O you who have faith! Do not exact usury, twofold and severalfold, and be wary of Allah so that you may be felicitous. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Believers, do not accept illegal interest in order to increase your wealth many times over. Have fear of God so that you will have everlasting happiness. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And be aware of
ٱلنَّارَ
the fire,
ٱلَّتِىٓ
that which is
أُعِدَّتْ
prepared
لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ
for the deniers.
And be aware of the fire, that which is prepared for the deniers.

And ward off (from yourselves) the Fire prepared for disbelievers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

be shown mercy.
And obey the One and the Messenger that perhaps you be shown mercy.

وَسَارِعُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَغْفِرَةٍۢ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ أُعِدَّتْ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And vie one with another for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a paradise as wide as are the heavens and the earth, prepared for those who ward off (evil); - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Hasten towards your Lord]s forgiveness and a paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, prepared for the Godwary - Qarai, Ali Quli

Hasten to obtain forgiveness from your Lord and to qualify yourselves for Paradise. Paradise, vast as the heavens and the earth, is prepared for the pious - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord; and a Garden, the extensiveness of which is (as) the heavens and the earth, it is prepared for those who guard (against evil). - Shakir, Habib

دوڑ کر چلو اُ س راہ پر جو تمہارے رب کی بخشش اور اُس جنت کی طرف جاتی ہے جس کی وسعت زمین اور آسمانوں جیسی ہے، اور وہ اُن خدا ترس لوگوں کے لیے مہیا کی گئی - Maududi, Abul A'ala

ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ فِى ٱلسَّرَّآءِ وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ وَٱلْكَٰظِمِينَ ٱلْغَيْظَ وَٱلْعَافِينَ عَنِ ٱلنَّاسِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Those who spend (of that which Allah hath given them) in ease and in adversity, those who control their wrath and are forgiving toward mankind; Allah loveth the good; - Pickthall, Marmaduke

—those who spend in ease and adversity, and suppress their anger, and excuse [the faults of] the people, and Allah loves the virtuous; - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
who spend their property for the cause of God in prosperity as well as in adversity and who also harness their anger and forgive the people. God loves the righteous ones. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
Those who spend (benevolently) in ease as well as in straitness, and those who restrain (their) anger and pardon men; and Allah loves the doers of good (to others). - Shakir, Habib
