يَوْمَ
A day when
تَبْيَضُّ
will shine
وُجُوهٌۭ
(some) faces,
وَتَسْوَدُّ
and roughed up will be
وُجُوهٌۭ
(some) faces;
ۚ
فَأَمَّا
thus it is that (will be said to)
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones of
ٱسْوَدَّتْ
roughed up
وُجُوهُهُمْ
faces,
أَكَفَرْتُم
[You denied
بَعْدَ
after
إِيمَٰنِكُمْ
your oath,
فَذُوقُوا۟
thus taste
ٱلْعَذَابَ
the punishment
بِمَا
due to what
كُنتُمْ
you
تَكْفُرُونَ
denied.]
٣
١٠٦
يَوْمَ تَبْيَضُّ وُجُوهٌۭ وَتَسْوَدُّ وُجُوهٌۭ ۚ فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْوَدَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ أَكَفَرْتُم بَعْدَ إِيمَٰنِكُمْ فَذُوقُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ
A day when will shine (some) faces, and roughed up will be (some) faces; thus it is that (will be said to) the ones of roughed up faces, [You denied after your oath, thus taste the punishment due to what you denied.]

On the Day when (some) faces will be whitened and (some) faces will be blackened; and as for those whose faces have been blackened, it will be said unto them: Disbelieved ye after your (profession of) belief? Then taste the punishment for that ye disbelieved.

on the day when [some] faces will turn white and [some] faces will turn black. As for those whose faces turn black [it will be said to them], [Did you disbelieve after your faith? So taste the punishment because of what you used to disbelieve.]

جبکہ کچھ لوگ سرخ رو ہوں گے اور کچھ لوگوں کا منہ کالا ہوگا، جن کا منہ کالا ہوگا (ان سے کہا جائے گا کہ) نعمت ایمان پانے کے بعد بھی تم نے کافرانہ رویہ اختیار کیا؟ اچھا تو اب اِس کفران نعمت کے صلہ میں عذاب کا مزہ چکھو

جس دن کچھ منہ اونجالے ہوں گے اور کچھ منہ کالے تو وہ جن کے منہ کالے ہوئے کیا تم ایمان لاکر کافر ہوئے تو اب عذاب چکھو اپنے کفر کا بدلہ،

And as for
ٱلَّذِينَ

ٱبْيَضَّتْ
shining
وُجُوهُهُمْ

mercy of
ٱللَّهِ
the One,
هُمْ
they
فِيهَا
therein
خَٰلِدُونَ
will be living.
٣
١٠٧
وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ٱبْيَضَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ فَفِى رَحْمَةِ ٱللَّهِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ
And as for the ones who have shining faces thus will be in mercy of the One, they therein will be living.

And as for those whose faces have been whitened, in the mercy of Allah they dwell for ever.

This website is a work of passion. It exists only for a couple of reasons:

1) I wanted to understand the Book without involving any second-party sources of guidance i.e. exegesis, or Asbab-e-Nuzul, or extra-Quranic ahadith, etc.
2) You must also know what the bare truth is, so we can work together.

Because the process must be transparent, the entire website is available for you to download. You can go through the code, and if you can make any improvements to this process, you are most welcome to. It is a humble request to update me regarding the improvements so I can also update myself.
