وَٱلَّذِينَ

ءَامَنُوا۟

وَعَمِلُوا۟

ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ

لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُم

[untranslated]

مِّنَ

ٱلْجَنَّةِ

غُرَفًۭا

[untranslated]

تَجْرِى

[untranslated]

مِن

[untranslated]

تَحْتِهَا

[untranslated]

ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ

خَٰلِدِينَ

فِيهَا

نِعْمَ

أَجْرُ

ٱلْعَٰمِلِينَ

٥٨

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ غُرَفًۭا تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ نِعْمَ أَجْرُ ٱلْعَٰمِلِينَ

⦿

Those who believe and do good works, them verily We shall house in lofty dwellings of the Garden underneath which rivers flow. There they will dwell secure. How sweet the guerdon of the toilers,

Those who have faith and do righteous deeds, We will surely settle them in the lofty abodes of paradise, with streams running in them, to remain in them [forever]. How excellent is the reward of the workers!

We shall give mansions in Paradise wherein streams flow to the righteously striving believers and therein they will live forever. How blessed is the reward of the hard working people

And (as for) those who believe and do good, We will certainly give them abode in the high places in gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein; how good the reward of the workers:

We shall lodge forever those who believe and do good works in the mansions of Paradise beside which rivers flow. How excellent is the reward of those who labour,

اور جو لوگ ایمان لائے ہیں اور انہوں نے نیک اعمال کئے ہیں انہیں ہم جنّت کے جھروکوں میں جگہ دیں گے جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں گی اور وہ ہمیشہ ان ہی میں رہیں گے کہ یہ ان عمل کرنے والوں کا بہترین اجر ہے

جو لوگ ایمان لائے ہیں اور جنہوں نے نیک عمل کیے ہیں ان کو ہم جنت کی بلند و بالا عمارتوں میں رکھیں گے جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہوں گی، وہاں وہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے، کیا ہی عمدہ اجر ہے عمل کرنے والوں کے لیے

⦿

اور بیشک جو ایمان لائے اور اچھے کام کیے ضرور ہم انہیں جنت کے بالا خانوں پر جگہ دیں گے جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہوں گی ہمیشہ ان میں رہیں گے، کیا ہی اچھا اجر کام والوں کا

اور جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور نیک عمل کئے ہم ان کو جنت کے بالا خانوں میں جگہ دیں گے جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں گی (اور) وہ ان میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے کیا اچھا اجر ہے (نیک) عمل کرنے والوں کا۔

And how many an animal there is that beareth not its own provision! Allah provideth for it and for you. He is the Hearer, the Knower.

کتنے ہی جانور ہیں جو اپنا رزق اٹھائے نہیں پھرتے، اللہ اُن کو رزق دیتا ہے اور تمہارا رازق بھی وہی ہے، وہ سب کچھ سُنتا اور جانتا ہے

اور زمین پر کتنے ہی چلنے والے ہیں کہ اپنی روزی ساتھ نہیں رکھتے اللہ روزی دیتا ہے انہیں اور تمہیں اور وہی سنتا جانتا ہے

اور کتنے زمین پر چلنے والے (جانور) ایسے ہیں جو اپنا رزق اٹھائے نہیں پھرتے اللہ ہی انہیں رزق دیتا ہے اور تمہیں بھی۔ اور وہ بڑا سننے والا (اور) بڑا جاننے والا ہے۔

وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ

⦿

And if thou wert to ask them: Who created the heavens and the earth, and constrained the sun and the moon (to their appointed work)? they would say: Allah. How then are they turned away?

⦿

If you ask them, [Who created the heavens and the earth, and who has disposed the sun and the moon?] They will surely say, [Allah.] Then where do they stray?

⦿

If you ask them, [Who has created the heavens and the earth and has subdued the sun and moon?] They will say, [God has done it.] So why are they wandering about!?

⦿

And if you ask them, Who created the heavens and the earth and made the sun and the moon subservient, they will certainly say, Allah. Whence are they then turned away?

If you ask them who it is that has created the heavens and the earth and subjugated the sun and the moon, they will say, [God.] How then are they turned away?

اور اگر آپ ان سے پوچھیں گے کہ آسمان و زمین کو کس نے پیدا کیا ہے اور آفتاب و ماہتاب کو کس نے لَسخّر کیا ہے تو فورا کہیں گے کہ اللہ,تو یہ کدھر بہکے چلے جارہے ہیں

⦿

اگر تم اِن لوگوں سے پُوچھو کہ زمین اور آسمانوں کو کس نے پیدا کیا ہے اور چاند اور سُورج کو کس نے مسخّر کر رکھا ہے تو ضرور کہیں گے کہ اللہ نے، پھر یہ کدھر سے دھوکا کھا رہے ہیں؟

⦿

اور اگر تم ان سے پوچھو کس نے بنائے آسمان اور زمین اور کام میں لگائے سورج اور چاند تو ضرور کہیں گے اللہ نے، تو کہاں اوندھے جاتے ہیں

اور اگر آپ ان (مشرکوں) سے پوچھیں کہ آسمانوں اور زمین کو کس نے پیدا کیا ہے؟ اور سورج اور چاند کو کس نے مسخر کیا ہے؟ تو وہ ضرور کہیں گے کہ اللہ نے۔ تو پھر وہ کدھر جا رہے ہیں؟

ٱللَّهُ يَبْسُطُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَقْدِرُ لَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌۭ

Allah maketh the provision wide for whom He will of His bondmen, and straiteneth it for whom (He will). Lo! Allah is Aware of all things.

Allah expands the provision for whomever He wishes of His servants, and tightens it for him. Indeed Allah has knowledge of all things.

God increases the sustenance of whichever of His servants He wants and He determines their share. God has the knowledge of all things.

Allah makes abundant the means of subsistence for whom He pleases of His servants, and straitens them for whom (He pleases) surely Allah is Cognizant of all things.

وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّن نَّزَّلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَوْتِهَا لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُ ۚ قُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ

⦿

And if thou wert to ask them: Who causeth water to come down from the sky, and therewith reviveth the earth after its death? they verily would say: Allah. Say: Praise be to Allah! But most of them have no sense.

⦿

And if you ask them, [Who sends down water from the sky, with which He revives the earth after its death?] They will surely say, [Allah.] Say, [All praise belongs to Allah!] But most of them do not exercise their reason.

⦿

If you ask them, [Who has sent down water from the sky to revive the dead earth?] They will say, [God has done it.] Say, [It is only God who deserves all praise, but many of them do not understand.]

⦿

And if you ask them Who is it that sends down water from the clouds, then gives life to the earth with it after its death, they will certainly say, Allah. Say: All praise is due to Allah. Nay, most of them do not understand.

And if you ask them who it is that sends down water from the sky and revives the earth with it after its death, they will surely answer, [God.] Then praise be to God. But most of them do not understand.

اور اگر آپ ان سے پوچھیں گے کس نے آسمان سے پانی برسایا ہے اور پھر زمین کو مفِدہ ہونے کے بعد زندہ کیا ہے تو یہ کہیں گے کہ اللہ ہی ہے تو پھر کہہ دیجئے کہ ساری حمد اللہ کے لئے ہے اور ان کی اکثریت عقل استعمال نہیں کررہی ہے

⦿

اور اگر تم ان سے پوچھو کس نے آسمان سے پانی برسایا اور اِس کے ذریعہ سے مُردہ پڑی ہوئی زمین کو جِلا اٹھایا تو وہ ضرور کہیں گے اللہ نے کہو، الحمدللہ، مگر اکثر لوگ سمجھتے نہیں ہیں

⦿

اور جو تم ان سے پوچھو کس نے اتارا آسمان سے پانی تو اس کے سبب زمین زندہ کردی مَرے پیچھے ضرور کہیں گے اللہ نے تم فرماؤ سب خوبیاں اللہ کو، بلکہ ان میں اکثر بے عقل ہیں

اور اگر آپ ان سے پوچھیں کہ آسمان سے پانی کس نے نازل کیا؟ اور زمین کو مردہ ہونے (بنجر ہونے) کے بعد کس نے زندہ (آباد) کیا؟ تو وہ ضرور کہیں گے اللہ نے! آپ کہیے! الحمد ﷲ۔ لیکن اکثر لوگ عقل سے کام نہیں لیتے۔

وَمَا هَٰذِهِ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَآ إِلَّا لَهْوٌۭ وَلَعِبٌۭ ۚ وَإِنَّ ٱلدَّارَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ لَهِىَ ٱلْحَيَوَانُ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ

This life of the world is but a pastime and a game. Lo! the home of the Hereafter - that is Life, if they but knew.

The life of this world is nothing but diversion and play, but the abode of the Hereafter is indeed Life (itself), had they known!

The worldly life is not more than a childish game. It is the life hereafter which will be the real life, if only they knew it.

And this life of the world is nothing but a sport and a play; and as for the next abode, that most surely is the life-- did they but know!

فَإِذَا رَكِبُوا۟ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ دَعَوُا۟ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ فَلَمَّا نَجَّىٰهُمْ إِلَى ٱلْبَرِّ إِذَا هُمْ يُشْرِكُونَ

⦿

And when they mount upon the ships they pray to Allah, making their faith pure for Him only, but when He bringeth them safe to land, behold! they ascribe partners (unto Him),

When they board the ship, they invoke Allah putting exclusive faith in Him, but when He delivers them to land, behold, they ascribe partners [to Him],

When they sail in a boat, they sincerely pray to God with pure faith. But when We bring them safely to land, they start considering things equal to God.

So when they ride in the ships they call upon Allah, being sincerely obedient to Him, but when He brings them safe to the land, lo! they associate others (with Him);

When they board a vessel, they call on God, sincere in their faith for Him alone; but when He brings them safe to land, they begin to ascribe partners to Him.

پھر جب یہ لوگ کشتی میں سوار ہوتے ہیں تو ایمان و عقیدہ کے پورے اخلاص کے ساتھ خدا کو پکارتے ہیں پھر جب وہ نجات دے کر خشکی تک پہنچادیتا ہے تو فورا شرک اختیار کرلیتے ہیں

جب یہ لوگ کشتی پر سوار ہوتے ہیں تو اپنے دین کو اللہ کے لیے خالص کر کے اُس سے دُعا مانگتے ہیں، پھر جب وہ اِنہیں بچا کر خشکی پر لے آتا ہے تو یکایک یہ شرک کرنے لگتے ہیں

Have they not seen that We have appointed a sanctuary immune (from violence), while mankind are ravaged all around them? Do they then believe in falsehood and disbelieve in the bounty of Allah?

Who doeth greater wrong than he who inventeth a lie concerning Allah, or denieth the truth when it cometh unto him? Is not there a home in hell for disbelievers?

This website is a work of passion. It exists only for a couple of reasons:

1) I wanted to understand the Book without involving any second-party sources of guidance i.e. exegesis, or Asbab-e-Nuzul, or extra-Quranic ahadith, etc.
2) You must also know what the bare truth is, so we can work together.

Because the process must be transparent, the entire website is available for you to download. You can go through the code, and if you can make any improvements to this process, you are most welcome to. It is a humble request to update me regarding the improvements so I can also update myself.
