أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا ٱلَّيْلَ لِيَسْكُنُوا۟ فِيهِ وَٱلنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يُؤْمِنُونَ

Have they not seen how We have appointed the night that they may rest therein, and the day sight-giving? Lo! therein verily are portents for a people who believe.

وَيَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَفَزِعَ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا مَن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ وَكُلٌّ أَتَوْهُ دَٰخِرِينَ

And (remind them of) the Day when the Trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the heavens and the earth will start in fear, save him whom Allah willeth. And all come unto Him, humbled.

The day when the trumpet is blown, whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will be terrified, except such as Allah wishes, and all will come to Him in utter humility.

Everyone in the heavens and earth will be terrified on the day when the trumpet will be sounded except those whom God will save. Everyone will humbly come into the presence of God.

وَتَرَى ٱلْجِبَالَ تَحْسَبُهَا جَامِدَةًۭ وَهِىَ تَمُرُّ مَرَّ ٱلسَّحَابِ ۚ صُنْعَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَتْقَنَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَفْعَلُونَ

And thou seest the hills thou deemest solid flying with the flight of clouds: the doing of Allah Who perfecteth all things. Lo! He is Informed of what ye do.

You see the mountains, which you suppose, to be stationary, while they drift like passing clouds—the handiwork of Allah who has made everything faultless. He is indeed well aware of what you do.

You think the mountains are solid. In fact, they move like clouds. It is God's technique which has established everything perfectly. He is well Aware of what you do.

And you see the mountains, you think them to be solid, and they shall pass away as the passing away of the cloud-- the handiwork of Allah Who has made every thing thoroughly; surely He is Aware of what you do.

آج تو پہاڑوں کو دیکھتا ہے اور سمجھتا ہے کہ خوب جمے ہوئے ہیں، مگر اُس وقت یہ بادلوں کی طرح اڑ رہے ہوں گے، یہ اللہ کی قدرت کا کرشمہ ہو گا جس نے ہر چیز کو حکمت کے ساتھ استوار کیا ہے وہ خوب جانتا ہے کہ تم لوگ کیا کرتے ہو

اور تو دیکھے گا پہاڑوں کو خیال کرے گا کہ وہ جمے ہوئے ہیں اور وہ چلتے ہوں گے بادل کی چال یہ کام ہے اللہ کا جس نے حکمت سے بنائی ہر چیز، بیشک اسے خبر ہے تمہارے کاموں کی،

Whoso bringeth a good deed will have better than its worth; and such are safe from fear that Day.

And whoso bringeth an ill-deed, such will be flung down on their faces in the Fire. Are ye rewarded aught save what ye did?

But whoever brings vice—they shall be cast on their faces into the Fire [and told:] [Shall you not be requited for what you used to do?]

Those who commit evil will be thrown headlong into hell fire. (It will be said to them) can you expect any recompense other than what you deserve for your deeds?

And whoever brings evil, these shall be thrown down on their faces into the fire; shall you be rewarded (for) aught except what you did?

اور جو بُرائی لیے ہوئے آئے گا، ایسے سب لوگ اوندھے منہ آگ میں پھینکے جائیں گے کیا تم لوگ اس کے سوا کوئی اور جزا پا سکتے ہو کہ جیسا کرو ویسا بھرو؟

اور جو بدی لائے تو ان کے منہ اوندھائے گئے آ گ میں تمہیں کیا بدلہ ملے گا مگر اسی کا جو کرتے تھے

إِنَّمَآ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ رَبَّ هَٰذِهِ ٱلْبَلْدَةِ ٱلَّذِى حَرَّمَهَا وَلَهُۥ كُلُّ شَىْءٍۢ ۖ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ

(Say): I (Muhammad) am commanded only to serve the Lord of this land which He hath hallowed, and unto Whom all things belong. And I am commanded to be of those who surrender (unto Him),

(اے محمدؐ، اِن سے کہو) ——مجھے تو یہی حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ اِس شہر کے رب کی بندگی کروں جس نے اِسے حرم بنایا ہے اور جو ہر چیز کا مالک ہے مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں مسلم بن کر رہوں

وَأَنْ أَتْلُوَا۟ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ ۖ فَمَنِ ٱهْتَدَىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَهْتَدِى لِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَقُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُنذِرِينَ

And to recite the Qur'an. And whoso goeth right, goeth right only for (the good of) his own soul; and as for him who goeth astray - (Unto him) say: Lo! I am only a warner.

and to recite the Quran.] Whoever is guided is guided only for his own good, and as for him who goes astray, say, [I am just one of the warners.]

This website is a work of passion. It exists only for a couple of reasons:

1) I wanted to understand the Book without involving any second-party sources of guidance i.e. exegesis, or Asbab-e-Nuzul, or extra-Quranic ahadith, etc.
2) You must also know what the bare truth is, so we can work together.

Because the process must be transparent, the entire website is available for you to download. You can go through the code, and if you can make any improvements to this process, you are most welcome to. It is a humble request to update me regarding the improvements so I can also update myself.
