And when it is said unto them: Prostrate to the Beneficent! they say: And what is the Beneficent? Are we to prostrate to whatever thou (Muhammad) biddest us? And it increaseth aversion in them. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

When they are told: [Prostrate yourselves before the All-beneficent,] they say, [What is [[the All-beneficent]]? Shall we prostrate ourselves before whatever you bid us?] And it increases their aversion. - Qarai, Ali Quli

The (faithful) slaves of the Beneficent are they who walk upon the earth modestly, and when the foolish ones address them answer: Peace; - Pickthall, Marmaduke

The servants of the All-beneficent are those who walk humbly on the earth, and when the ignorant address them, say, [Peace!] - Qarai, Ali Quli

(Among) the servants of the Beneficent God are those who walk gently on the earth and when addressed by the ignorant ones, their only response is, [Peace be with you.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

And who say: Our Lord! Avert from us the doom of hell; lo! the doom thereof is anguish; - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Those who say, [Our Lord! Turn away from us the punishment of hell. Indeed its punishment is enduring. - Qarai, Ali Quli

who pray, [Lord, protect us from the torment of hell; it is a great loss. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And they who say: O our Lord! turn away from us the punishment of hell, surely the punishment thereof is a lasting - Shakir, Habib

وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَنفَقُوا۟ لَمْ يُسْرِفُوا۟ وَلَمْ يَقْتُرُوا۟ وَكَانَ بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ قَوَامًۭا [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]
⦿
And those who, when they spend, are neither prodigal nor grudging; and there is ever a firm station between the two; - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Those who are neither wasteful nor tightfisted when spending, but balanced between these [two extremes]. - Qarai, Ali Quli

who in their spending are neither extravagant nor stingy but maintain moderation, - Sarwar, Muhammad

And they who when they spend, are neither extravagant nor parsimonious, and (keep) between these the just mean. - Shakir, Habib

وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَدْعُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ وَلَا يَقْتُلُونَ ٱلنَّفْسَ ٱلَّتِى حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا يَزْنُونَ ۚ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ يَلْقَ أَثَامًۭا [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And those who cry not unto any other god along with Allah, nor take the life which Allah hath forbidden save in (course of) justice, nor commit adultery - and whoso doeth this shall pay the penalty; - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Those who do not invoke another deity besides Allah, and do not kill a soul [whose life] Allah has made inviolable, except with due cause, and do not commit fornication. (Whoever does that shall encounter its retribution, - Qarai, Ali Quli

who do not worship idols besides God, nor without a just cause murder a soul to whom God has granted amnesty, who do not commit fornication, for those who do so have committed a sin - Sarwar, Muhammad

And they who do not call upon another god with Allah and do not slay the soul, which Allah has forbidden except in the requirements of justice, and (who) do not commit fornication and he who does this shall find a requital of sin; - Shakir, Habib

those who never invoke any other deity besides God, nor take a life which God has made sacred, except with the right to do so, nor commit adultery. Anyone who does that shall face punishment: - Wahiduddin Khan

إِلَّا مَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلًۭا صَٰلِحًۭا فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يُبَدِّلُ ٱللَّهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ حَسَنَٰتٍۢ ۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورًۭا رَّحِيمًۭا [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Save him who repenteth and believeth and doth righteous work; as for such, Allah will change their evil deeds to good deeds. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

except those who repent, attain faith, and act righteously. For such, Allah will replace their misdeeds with good deeds, and Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful. - Qarai, Ali Quli
