The saying of (all true) believers when they appeal unto Allah and His messenger to judge between them is only that they say: We hear and we obey. And such are the successful. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

All the response of the faithful, when they are summoned to Allah and His Apostle that He may judge between them, is to say, [We hear and obey.] It is they who are the felicitous. - Qarai, Ali Quli

وَأَقْسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَٰنِهِمْ لَئِنْ أَمَرْتَهُمْ لَيَخْرُجُنَّ ۖ قُل لَّا تُقْسِمُوا۟ ۖ طَاعَةٌۭ مَّعْرُوفَةٌ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

They swear by Allah solemnly that, if thou order them, they will go forth. Say: Swear not; known obedience (is better). Lo! Allah is Informed of what ye do. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

They swear by Allah with solemn oaths that if you order them they will surely march out. Say, [Do not swear! Honourable obedience [is all that is expected of you]. Allah is indeed well aware of what you do.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

They strongly swear by God that they would march to fight (for the cause of God) if you were to order them to. Tell them, [You do not need to swear; fighting for the cause of God is a virtuous deed and God is Well Aware of what you do]. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And they swear by Allah with the most energetic of their oaths that if you command them they would certainly go forth. Say: Swear not; reasonable obedience (is desired); surely Allah is aware of what you do. - Shakir, Habib

They swear firm oaths by God that if you command them to march forth, they will obey you. Say, [Do not swear: your obedience, not your oaths, will count. God is well aware of all your actions.] - Wahiduddin Khan

اور ان لوگوں نے باقاعدہ قسم کھائی ہے کہ آپ حکم دے دیں گے تو یہ گھر سے باہر نکل جائیں گے تو آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ قسم کی ضرورت نہیں ہے عمومی قانون کے مطابق اطاعت کافی ہے کہ یقینا اللرُ ان اعمال سے باخبر ہے جو تم لوگ انجام دے رہے ہو - Jawadi, Zeeshan

یہ (منافق) اللہ کے نام سے کڑی کڑی قسمیں کھا کر کہتے ہیں کہ ——آپ حکم دیں تو ہم گھروں سے نکل کھڑے ہوں—— اِن سے کہو ——قسمیں نہ کھاؤ، تمہاری اطاعت کا حال معلوم ہے، تمہارے کرتوتوں سے اللہ بے خبر نہیں ہے—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور انہوں نے اللہ کی قسم کھائی اپنے حلف میں حد کی کوشش سے کہ اگر تم انہیں حکم دو گے تو وہ ضرور جہاد کو نکلیں گے تم فرماؤ قسمیں نہ کھاؤ موافق شرع حکم برداری چاہیے، اللہ جانتا ہے جو تم کرتے ہو - Ahmed Raza

Say: Obey Allah and obey the messenger. But if ye turn away, then (it is) for him (to do) only that wherewith he hath been charged, and for you (to do) only that wherewith ye have been charged. If ye obey him, ye will go aright. But the messenger hath no other charge than to convey (the message) plainly. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Say, [Obey Allah, and obey the Apostle.] But if you turn your backs, [you should know that] he is only responsible for his burden and you are responsible for your own burden, and if you obey him, you will be guided, and the Apostle]s duty is only to communicate in clear terms. - Qarai, Ali Quli

کہو، ——اللہ کے مطیع بنو اور رسولؐ کے تابع فرمان بن کر رہو لیکن اگر تم منہ پھیرتے ہو تو خوب سمجھ لو کہ رسولؐ پر جس فرض کا بار رکھا گیا ہے اُس کا ذمہ دار وہ ہے اور تم پر جس فرض کا بار ڈالا گیا ہے اُس کے ذمہ دار تم ہو اُس کی اطاعت کرو گے تو خود ہی ہدایت پاؤ گے ورنہ رسول کی ذمہ داری اس سے زیادہ کچھ نہیں ہے کہ صاف صاف حکم پہنچا دے—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

تم فرماؤ حکم مانو اللہ کا اور حکم مانو رسول کا پھر اگر تم منہ پھیرو تو رسول کے ذمہ وہی ہے جس اس پر لازم کیا گیا اور تم پر وہ ہے جس کا بوجھ تم پر رکھا گیا اور اگر رسول کی فرمانبرداری کرو گے راہ پاؤ گے، اور رسول کے ذمہ نہیں مگر صاف پہنچا دینا - Ahmed Raza

وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ كَمَا ٱسْتَخْلَفَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ ٱلَّذِى ٱرْتَضَىٰ لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًۭا ۚ يَعْبُدُونَنِى لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِى شَيْـًۭٔا ۚ وَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَٰسِقُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Allah hath promised such of you as believe and do good work that He will surely make them to succeed (the present rulers) in the earth even as He caused those who were before them to succeed (others); and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He hath approved for them, and will give them in exchange safety after their fear. They serve Me. They ascribe no thing as partner unto Me. Those who disbelieve henceforth, they are the miscreants. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Allah has promised those of you who have faith and do righteous deeds that He will surely make them successors in the earth, just as He made those who were before them successors, and He will surely establish for them their religion which He has approved for them, and that He will surely change their state to security after their fear, while they worship Me, not ascribing any partners to Me. Whoever is ungrateful after that—it is they who are the transgressors. - Qarai, Ali Quli

God has promised the righteously striving believers to appoint them as His deputies on earth, as He had appointed those who lived before. He will make the religion that He has chosen for them to stand supreme. He will replace their fear with peace and security so that they will worship God alone and consider no one equal to Him. Whoever becomes an unbeliever after this will be a sinful person. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Allah has promised to those of you who believe and do good that He will most certainly make them rulers in the earth as He made rulers those before them, and that He will most certainly establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them, and that He will most certainly, after their fear, give them security in exchange; they shall serve Me, not associating aught with Me; and whoever is ungrateful after this, these it is who are the. transgressors. - Shakir, Habib

اللرُ نے تم میں سے صاحبان هایمان و عمل صالح سے وعدہ کیا ہے کہ انہیں روئے زمین میں اسی طرح اپنا خلیفہ بنائے گا جس طرح پہلے والوں کو بنایا ہے اور ان کے لئے اس دین کو غالب بنائے گا جسے ان کے لئے پسندیدہ قرار دیا ہے اور ان کے خوف کو امن سے تبدیل کردے گا کہ وہ سب صرف میری عبادت کریں گے اور کسی طرح کا شرک نہ کریں گے اور اس کے بعد بھی کوئی کافر ہوجائے تو درحقیقت وہی لوگ فاسق اور بدکردار ہیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اللہ نے وعدہ فرمایا ہے تم میں سے اُن لوگوں کے ساتھ جو ایمان لائیں اور نیک عمل کریں کہ وہ ان کو اُسی طرح زمین میں خلیفہ بنائے گا جس طرح اُن سے پہلے گزرے ہوئے لوگوں کو بنا چکا ہے، اُن کے لیے اُن کے اُس دین کو مضبوط بنیادوں پر قائم کر دے گا جسے اللہ تعالیٰ نے اُن کے حق میں پسند کیا ہے، اور اُن کی (موجودہ) حالت خوف کو امن سے بدل دے گا، بس وہ میری بندگی کریں اور میرے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ کریں اور جو اس کے بعد کفر کرے تو ایسے ہی لوگ فاسق ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

لَعَلَّكُمْ
that perhaps you

may be shown mercy.
And establish the united discipline and produce the prosperity / emancipation, and obey the messenger that perhaps you may be shown mercy.

Establish worship and pay the poor-due and obey the messenger, that haply ye may find mercy. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Think not that the disbelievers can escape in the land. Fire will be their home - a hapless journey's end! - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Do not suppose that those who are faithless can frustrate [Allah] on the earth. Their refuge shall be the Fire, and it is surely an evil destination. - Qarai, Ali Quli

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لِيَسْتَـْٔذِنكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُكُمْ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا۟ ٱلْحُلُمَ مِنكُمْ ثَلَٰثَ مَرَّٰتٍۢ ۚ مِّن قَبْلِ صَلَوٰةِ ٱلْفَجْرِ وَحِينَ تَضَعُونَ ثِيَابَكُم مِّنَ ٱلظَّهِيرَةِ وَمِنۢ بَعْدِ صَلَوٰةِ ٱلْعِشَآءِ ۚ ثَلَٰثُ عَوْرَٰتٍۢ لَّكُمْ ۚ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَا عَلَيْهِمْ جُنَاحٌۢ بَعْدَهُنَّ ۚ طَوَّٰفُونَ عَلَيْكُم بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمُ ٱلْـَٔايَٰتِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌۭ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

O ye who believe! Let your slaves, and those of you who have not come to puberty, ask leave of you at three times (before they come into your presence): Before the prayer of dawn, and when ye lay aside your raiment for the heat of noon, and after the prayer of night. Three times of privacy for you. It is no sin for them or for you at other times, when some of you go round attendant upon others (if they come into your presence without leave). Thus Allah maketh clear the revelations for you. Allah is Knower, Wise. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O you who have faith! Your slaves and any of you who have not yet reached puberty should seek your permission three times: before the dawn prayer, and when you put off your garments at noon, and after the night prayer. These are three times of privacy for you. Apart from these, it is not sinful of you or them to frequent one another [freely]. Believers, your slaves and the immature people must ask your permission three times a day before entering your house: before the morning prayer, at noon time and after the late evening prayer; these are most private times. After your permission has been granted, there is no harm if they come into your presence from time to time. This is how God explains His revelations to you. ایمان والو تمہارے غلام و کنیز اور وہ بچے ّجو ابھی سن بلوغ کو نہیں پہنچے ہیں ان سب کو چاہئے کہ تمہارے پاس داخل ہونے کے لئے تین اوقات میں اجازت لیں نماز صبح سے پہلے اور دوپہر کے وقت جب تم کپڑے اتار کر آرام کرتے ہو اور نماز عشائ کے بعد یہ تین اوقات پردے کے ہیں اس کے بعد تمہارے لئے یا ان کے لئے کوئی حرج نہیں ہے کہ ایک دوسرے کے پاس چکر لگاتے رہیں کہ اللہ اسی طرح اپنی آیتوں کو واضح کرکے بیان کرتا ہے اور بیشک اللہ ہر شے کا جاننے والا اور صاحبِ حکمت ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو، لازم ہے کہ تمہارے مملوک اور تمہارے وہ بچے جو ابھی عقل کی حد کو نہیں پہنچے ہیں، تین اوقات میں اجازت لے کر تمہارے پاس آیا کریں: صبح کی نماز سے پہلے، اور دوپہر کو جبکہ تم کپڑے اتار کر رکھ دیتے ہو، اور عشاء کی نماز کے بعد یہ تین وقت تمہارے لیے پردے کے وقت ہیں اِن کے بعد وہ بلا اجازت آئیں تو نہ تم پر کوئی گناہ ہے نہ اُن پر، تمہیں ایک دوسرے کے پاس بار بار آنا ہی ہوتا ہے اس طرح اللہ تمہارے لیے اپنے ارشادات کی توضیح کرتا ہے، اور وہ علیم و حکیم ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اے ایمان والو! چاہیے کہ تم سے اذن لیں تمہارے ہاتھ کے مال غلام اور جو تم میں ابھی جوانی کو نہ پہنچے تین وقت نمازِ صبح سے پہلے اور جب تم اپنے کپڑے اتار رکھتے ہو دوپہر کو اور نماز عشاء کے بعد یہ تین وقت تمہاری شرم کے ہیں ان تین کے بعد کچھ گناہ نہیں تم پر نہ ان پر آمدورفت رکھتے ہیں تمہارے یہاں ایک دوسرے کے پاس اللہ یونہی بیان کرتا ہے تمہارے لیے آیتیں، اور اللہ علم و حکمت والا ہے، - Ahmed Raza
