فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ بِٱلْحَقِّ فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ غُثَآءًۭ ۚ فَبُعْدًۭا لِّلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

So the (Awful) Cry overtook them rightfully, and We made them like as wreckage (that a torrent hurleth). A far removal for wrongdoing folk! - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Then We sent our messengers one after another. Whenever its messenger came unto a nation they denied him; so We caused them to follow one another (to disaster) and We made them bywords. A far removal for folk who believe not! - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Then We sent Our apostles successively. Whenever there came to a nation its apostle, they impugned him, so We made them follow one another [to extinction] and We turned them into folktales. So away with the faithless lot! - Qarai, Ali Quli

پھر ہم نے پے در پے اپنے رسول بھیجے جس قوم کے پاس بھی اس کا رسول آیا، اس نے اُسے جھٹلایا، اور ہم ایک کے بعد ایک قوم کو ہلاک کرتے چلے گئے حتیٰ کہ ان کو بس افسانہ ہی بنا کر چھوڑا پھٹکار اُن لوگوں پر جو ایمان نہیں لاتے! - Maududi, Abul A'ala
