فَإِذَا ٱسْتَوَيْتَ أَنتَ وَمَن مَّعَكَ عَلَى ٱلْفُلْكِ فَقُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى نَجَّىٰنَا مِنَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And when thou art on board the ship, thou and whoso is with thee, then say: Praise be to Allah Who hath saved us from the wrongdoing folk! - Pickthall, Marmaduke

[When you, and those who are with you, are settled in the ark, say, [[All praise belongs to Allah, who has delivered us from the wrongdoing lot.]] - Qarai, Ali Quli

When all of you settle in the Ark, say, [Only God Who has saved us from the unjust people deserves all praise]. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And when you are firmly seated, you and those with you, in the ark, say: All praise is due to Allah who delivered us from the unjust people: - Shakir, Habib

اس کے بعد جب تم اپنے ساتھیوں سمیت کشتی پر اطمینان سے بیٹھ جانا تو کہنا کہ شکر ہے اس پروردگار کا جس نے ہم کو ظالم قوم سے نجات دلادی ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

Thus We sent

رَسُولًۭا
a messenger
مِّنْهُمْ

ٱعْبُدُوا۟
[Be in servitude of
ٱللَّهَ
the One,
مَا
not
لَكُم
for you is
مِّنْ
from
إِلَٰهٍ
an unchallenged master
غَيْرُهُۥٓ
except Him;
ۖ
أَفَلَا
then why do not
تَتَّقُونَ
you take heed?
٢٣
٣٢
فَأَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِمْ رَسُولًۭا مِّنْهُمْ أَنِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥٓ ۖ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ Thus We sent in them a messenger from them that [Be in servitude of the One, not for you is from an unchallenged master except Him; then why do not you take heed?

And we sent among them a messenger of their own, saying: Serve Allah, Ye have no other Allah save Him. Will ye not ward off (evil)? - Pickthall, Marmaduke

and We sent them an apostle from among themselves, saying, [Worship Allah! You have no other god besides Him. Will you not then be wary [of Him]?] - Qarai, Ali Quli

We sent to them a Messenger from among their own people who told them, [Worship God; He is your only Lord. Will you then not have fear of Him?] - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
So We sent among them an apostle from among them, saying: Serve Allah, you have no god other than Him; will you not then guard (against evil)? - Shakir, Habib

and sent a messenger to them from among themselves: [Worship God alone. You have no deity other than Him. Will you not then fear God?] - Wahiduddin Khan

اور ان میں بھی اپنے رسول کو بھیجا کہ تم سب اللہ کی عبادت کرو کہ اس کے علاوہ تمہارا کوئی خدا نہیں ہے تو کیا تم پرہیزگار نہ بنو گے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

پھر اُن میں خود انہی کی قوم کا ایک رسول بھیجا (جس نے انہیں دعوت دی) کہ اللہ کی بندگی کرو، تمہارے لیے اُس کے سوا کوئی اور معبود نہیں ہے، کیا تم ڈرتے نہیں ہو؟ - Maududi, Abul A'ala

وَقَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ مِن قَوْمِهِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِلِقَآءِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ وَأَتْرَفْنَٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّا بَشَرٌۭ مِّثْلُكُمْ يَأْكُلُ مِمَّا تَأْكُلُونَ مِنْهُ وَيَشْرَبُ مِمَّا تَشْرَبُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And the chieftains of his folk, who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter, and whom We had made soft in the life of the world, said: This is only a mortal like you, who eateth of that whereof ye eat and drinketh of that ye drink. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Said the elite of his people, who were faithless and who denied the encounter of the Hereafter and whom We had given affluence in the life of the world: [This is just a human being like yourselves: he eats what you eat, and drinks what you drink. - Qarai, Ali Quli

A group of his people who disbelieved him and had called the Day of Judgment a lie and whom We had made prosperous in this life, said, [He is a mere mortal like you. He eats and drinks as you do. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And the chiefs of his people who disbelieved and called the meeting of the hereafter a lie, and whom We had given plenty to enjoy in this world's life, said: This is nothing but a mortal like yourselves, eating of what you eat from and drinking of what you drink. - Shakir, Habib

But the leaders of his people who denied the truth and denied the Meeting in the Hereafter, because We had granted them ease and plenty in their worldly life, said, [This is only a human being like yourselves, he eats what you eat, and drinks what you drink, - Wahiduddin Khan

تو ان کی قوم کے ان رؤسائ نے جنہوں نے کفر اختیار کیا تھا اور آخرت کی ملاقات کا انکار کردیا تھا اور ہم نے انہیں زندگانی دنیا میں عیش و عشرت کا سامان دے دیا تھا وہ کہنے لگے کہ یہ تو تمہارا ہی جیسا ایک بشر ہے جو تم کھاتے ہو وہی کھاتا ہے اور جو تم پیتے ہو وہی پیتا بھی ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اُس کی قوم کے جن سرداروں نے ماننے سے انکار کیا اور آخرت کی پیشی کو جھٹلایا، جن کو ہم نے دنیا کی زندگی میں آسودہ کر رکھا تھا، وہ کہنے لگے ——یہ شخص کچھ نہیں ہے مگر ایک بشر تم ہی جیسا جو کچھ تم کھاتے ہو وہی یہ کھاتا ہے اور جو کچھ تم پیتے ہو وہی یہ پیتا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور بولے اس قوم کے سردار جنہوں نے کفر کیا اور آخرت کی حاضری کو جھٹلایا اور ہم نے انہیں دنیا کی زندگی میں چین دیا کہ یہ تو نہیں مگر جیسا آدمی جو تم کھاتے ہو اسی میں سے کھاتا ہے اور جو تم پیتے ہو اسی میں سے پیتا ہے - Ahmed Raza
