ذَٰلِكَ
That is
بِأَنَّ
due to it being that
ٱللَّهَ
the One
هُوَ
is
ٱلْحَقُّ
the Fact,
وَأَنَّ
and certainly
مَا
what
يَدْعُونَ
they call
مِن
from
دُونِهِۦ
inferior to Him
هُوَ
is
ٱلْبَٰطِلُ
the fiction,
وَأَنَّ
and certainly
ٱللَّهَ
the One
هُوَ
is
ٱلْعَلِىُّ
the Most Elevated,
ٱلْكَبِيرُ
the Greatest.

٦٢
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ وَأَنَّ مَا يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ هُوَ ٱلْبَٰطِلُ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْكَبِيرُ That is due to it being that the One is the Fact, and certainly what they call from inferior to Him is the fiction, and certainly the One is the Most Elevated, the Greatest.

That is because Allah, He is the True, and that whereon they call instead of Him, it is the false, and because Allah, He is the High, the Great. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

So will it be, because Allah is the Reality, and what they invoke besides Him is nullity, and because Allah is the All-exalted, the All-great. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Do not
تَرَ
you see
أَنَّ
that
ٱللَّهَ
the One
أَنزَلَ
descended
مِنَ
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
the atmos
مَآءًۭ
basic essence,
فَتُصْبِحُ
and turned
ٱلْأَرْضُ
the land
مُخْضَرَّةً
green?
ۗ
إِنَّ
Certainly
ٱللَّهَ
the One is
لَطِيفٌ
gentle,
خَبِيرٌۭ
well informed.
٢٢
٦٣
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ فَتُصْبِحُ ٱلْأَرْضُ مُخْضَرَّةً ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَطِيفٌ خَبِيرٌۭ Do not you see that the One descended from the atmos basic essence, and turned the land green? Certainly the One is gentle, well informed.

Seest thou not how Allah sendeth down water from the sky and then the earth becometh green upon the morrow? Lo! Allah is Subtile, Aware. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Belongs to Him
مَا

ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
the atmospheres
وَمَا
and what is
فِى
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the matter;
ۗ
وَإِنَّ
and it is that
ٱللَّهَ
the One
لَهُوَ
certainly is
ٱلْغَنِىُّ
the most Opulent,
ٱلْحَمِيدُ
the most Powerful.
Belongs to Him what is in the atmospheres and what is in the matter; and it is that the One certainly is the most Opulent, the most Powerful.

Unto Him belongeth all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. Lo! Allah, He verily is the Absolute, the Owner of Praise. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Hast thou not seen how Allah hath made all that is in the earth subservient unto you? And the ship runneth upon the sea by His command, and He holdeth back the heaven from falling on the earth unless by His leave. Lo! Allah is, for mankind, Full of Pity, Merciful. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Have you not regarded that Allah has disposed for you [r benefit] whatever there is in the earth, and [that] the ships sail at sea by His command, and He sustains the sky lest it should fall on the earth, excepting [when it does so] by His leave? کیا تم دیکھتے نہیں ہو کہ اُس نے وہ سب کچھ تمہارے لیے مسخر کر رکھا ہے جو زمین میں ہے، اور اسی نے کشتی کو قاعدے کا پابند بنایا ہے کہ وہ اس کے حکم سے سمندر میں چلتی ہے، اور وہی آسمان کو اس طرح تھامے ہوئے کہ اس کے اِذن کے بغیر وہ زمین پر نہیں گر سکتا؟ واقعہ یہ ہے کہ اللہ لوگوں کے حق میں بڑا شفیق اور رحیم ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

And He is
ٱلَّذِىٓ
the Entity
أَحْيَاكُمْ
who gave you life,
ثُمَّ
then
يُمِيتُكُمْ
will give you death,
ثُمَّ
then
يُحْيِيكُمْ
will give you life;
ۗ
إِنَّ
surely
ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ
the human
لَكَفُورٌۭ
is in denial.
And He is the Entity who gave you life, then will give you death, then will give you life; surely the human is in denial.
⦿
And He it is Who gave you life, then He will cause you to die, and then will give you life (again). Lo! man is verily an ingrate. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

لِّكُلِّ أُمَّةٍۢ جَعَلْنَا مَنسَكًا هُمْ نَاسِكُوهُ ۖ فَلَا يُنَٰزِعُنَّكَ فِى ٱلْأَمْرِ ۚ وَٱدْعُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ۖ إِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ هُدًۭى مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Unto each nation have We given sacred rites which they are to perform; so let them not dispute with thee of the matter, but summon thou unto thy Lord. Lo! thou indeed followest right guidance. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

For every nation We have appointed rites [of worship] which they observe; so let them not dispute with you concerning your religion, and invite to your Lord. Indeed, you are on a straight guidance. - Qarai, Ali Quli

We enjoined every nation with certain worship acts which they perform. The unbelievers must not dispute with you about the manner of your worship. Invite them to follow the right path of the Lord. - Sarwar, Muhammad

To every nation We appointed acts of devotion which they observe, therefore they should not dispute with you about the matter and call to your Lord; most surely you are on a right way. - Shakir, Habib

ہر امّت کے لئے ایک طریقہ عبادت ہے جس پر وہ عمل کررہی ہے لہذا اس امر میں ان لوگوں کو آپ سے جھگڑا نہیں کرنا چاہئے اور آپ انہیں اپنے پروردگار کی طرف دعوت دیں کہ آپ بالکل سیدھی ہدایت کے راستہ پر ہیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

ہر امت کے لیے ہم نے ایک طریق عبادت مقرر کیا ہے جس کی وہ پیروی کرتی ہے، پس اے محمدؐ، وہ اِس معاملہ میں تم سے جھگڑا نہ کریں تم اپنے رب کی طرف دعوت دو، یقیناً تم سیدھے راستے پر ہو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

ہر امت کے لیے ہم نے عبادت کے قاعدے بنادیے کہ وہ ان پر چلے تو ہرگز وہ تم سے اس معاملہ میں جھگڑا نہ کریں اور اپنے رب کی طرف بلاؤ بیشک تم سیدھی راہ پر ہو، - Ahmed Raza

(اے رسول(ص)) ہم نے ہر قوم کیلئے عبادت کا ایک طریقہ مقرر کر دیا ہے جس کے مطابق وہ عبادت کر رہی ہے۔ اس لئے انہیں آپ سے جھگڑا نہیں کرنا چاہیے اور آپ اپنے پروردگار کی طرف بلاتے رہیے! یقیناً آپ ہدایت کے سیدھے راستہ پر ہیں۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

ذَٰلِكَ

عَلَى
upon
ٱللَّهِ
the One
يَسِيرٌۭ
is easy.

أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ فِى كِتَٰبٍ ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٌۭ Do not you know that the One knows what is within the sky and the Earth? Surely that is in a book; certainly that upon the One is easy.

Hast thou not known that Allah knoweth all that is in the heaven and the earth? Lo! it is in a record. Lo! that is easy for Allah. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And they obey
مِن

inferior to
ٱللَّهِ
the One,

يُنَزِّلْ

بِهِۦ
regarding it
سُلْطَٰنًۭا
any authority,
وَمَا
and that which
لَيْسَ
not there is
لَهُم
for them
بِهِۦ
about it
عِلْمٌۭ
any knowledge;
ۗ
وَمَا
and not is
لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ
for the ones in darkness
مِن
of
نَّصِيرٍۢ
a helper.

وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِۦ سُلْطَٰنًۭا وَمَا لَيْسَ لَهُم بِهِۦ عِلْمٌۭ ۗ وَمَا لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ مِن نَّصِيرٍۢ And they obey from inferior to the One, that which not was established regarding it any authority, and that which not there is for them about it any knowledge; and not is for the ones in darkness of a helper.

And they worship instead of Allah that for which He hath sent down no warrant, and that whereof they have no knowledge. For evil-doers there is no helper. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

They worship besides Allah that for which He has not sent down any authority, and of which they have no knowledge. The wrongdoers will have no helper. - Qarai, Ali Quli

They worship things instead of God that have received no authority (from the heavens) nor have they any knowledge of such authority. The unjust people will have no one to help them. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And they serve besides Allah that for which He has not sent any authority, and that of which they have no knowledge; and for the unjust there shall be no helper. - Shakir, Habib

And whenever
تُتْلَىٰ
you read
عَلَيْهِمْ
upon them
ءَايَٰتُنَا
Our signs
بَيِّنَٰتٍۢ
of clarifications,
تَعْرِفُ
you will see
فِى
in
وُجُوهِ
faces of
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
كَفَرُوا۟
are in denial
ٱلْمُنكَرَ
the renouncement thereof;
ۖ
يَكَادُونَ
they yearn to
يَسْطُونَ
attack
بِٱلَّذِينَ
regarding the ones who
يَتْلُونَ
read
عَلَيْهِمْ
upon them
ءَايَٰتِنَا
Our signs.
ۗ
قُلْ
Say,
أَفَأُنَبِّئُكُم
[Shall I inform you of
بِشَرٍّۢ
good news
مِّن
from
ذَٰلِكُمُ
that for you?
ۗ
ٱلنَّارُ
The fire
وَعَدَهَا
which is promise of
ٱللَّهُ
the One to
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
كَفَرُوا۟
are in denial;
ۖ
وَبِئْسَ
and miserable is
ٱلْمَصِيرُ
the destination.]

٧٢
وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٍۢ تَعْرِفُ فِى وُجُوهِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ٱلْمُنكَرَ ۖ يَكَادُونَ يَسْطُونَ بِٱلَّذِينَ يَتْلُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتِنَا ۗ قُلْ أَفَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرٍّۢ مِّن ذَٰلِكُمُ ۗ ٱلنَّارُ وَعَدَهَا ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ And whenever you read upon them Our signs of clarifications, you will see in faces of the ones who are in denial the renouncement thereof; they yearn to attack regarding the ones who read upon them Our signs. Say, [Shall I inform you of good news from that for you? The fire which is promise of the One to those who are in denial; and miserable is the destination.]

And when Our revelations are recited unto them, thou knowest the denial in the faces of those who disbelieve; they all but attack those who recite Our revelations unto them. Say: Shall I proclaim unto you worse than that? The Fire! Allah hath promised it for those who disbelieve. A hapless journey's end! - Pickthall, Marmaduke

When Our manifest signs are recited to them, you perceive denial on the faces of the faithless: they would almost pounce upon those who recite Our signs to them. Say, [Shall I inform you about something worse than that? The Fire which Allah has promised the faithless, and it is an evil destination.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

When Our authoritative revelations are recited to the unbelievers, you can clearly read the dislike on their faces. They almost attack those who read Our revelations to them. Say to them, [Should I tell you about what is the worst thing for you than these revelations? It is the fire which God has prepared for the unbelievers. What a terrible destination! - Sarwar, Muhammad

And when Our clear communications are recited to them you will find denial on the faces of those who disbelieve; they almost spring upon those who recite to them Our communications. Say: Shall I inform you of what is worse than this? The fire; Allah has promised it to those who disbelieve; and how evil the resort! - Shakir, Habib

Whenever Our clear revelations are recited to them, you will recognize the disgust on the faces of those who deny the truth. It is almost as if they are going to attack those who recite Our message to them. Say, [Shall I tell you of something worse than this? It is the Fire that God has promised to those who are bent on denying the truth. What an evil destination!] - Wahiduddin Khan

اور جب ان کے سامنے ہماری واضح آیتیں پڑھ کر سنائی جاتی ہیں تو تم دیکھتے ہو کہ کفر اختیار کرنے والوں کے چہرہ پر ناگواری کے آثار ظاہر ہوجاتے ہیں اور قریب ہوتا ہے کہ وہ ان تلاوت کرنے والوں پر حملہ کربیٹھیں تو کہہ دیجئے کہ میں اس سے بدتر بات کے بارے میں بتلا رہا ہوں اور وہ جہنمّ ہے جس کا خدا نے کافروں سے وعدہ کیا ہے اور وہ بہت برا انجام ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور جب ان کو ہماری صاف صاف آیات سنائی جاتی ہیں تو تم دیکھتے ہو کہ منکرین حق کے چہرے بگڑنے لگتے ہیں اور ایسا محسُوس ہوتا ہے کہ ابھی وہ اُن لوگوں پر ٹوٹ پڑیں گے جو انہیں ہماری آیات سناتے ہیں ان سے کہو ——میں بتاؤں تمہیں کہ اس سے بدتر چیز کیا ہے؟ آگ، اللہ نے اُسی کا وعدہ اُن لوگوں کے حق میں کر رکھا ہے جو قبول حق سے انکار کریں، اور وہ بہت ہی برا ٹھکانہ ہے—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور جب ان پر ہماری روشن آیتیں پڑھی جائیں تو تم ان کے چہروں پر بگڑنے کے آثار دیکھو گے جنہوں نے کفر کیا، قریب ہے کہ لپٹ پڑیں ان کو جو ہماری آیتیں ان پر پڑھتے ہیں، تم فرمادو کیا میں تمہیں بتادوں جو تمہارے اس حال سے بھی بدتر ہے وہ آگ ہے، اللہ نے اس کا وعدہ دیا ہے کافروں کو، اور کیا ہی بری پلٹنے کی جگہ، - Ahmed Raza

اور جب ان کے سامنے ہماری آیتیں پڑھی جاتی ہیں تو تم کافروں کے چہروں پر ناگواری کے آثار واضح محسوس کرتے ہو۔ قریب ہے وہ ان پر حملہ کر دیں جو ان کے سامنے ہماری آیتیں پڑھ کر سناتے ہیں۔ کیا میں تمہیں بتاؤں کہ اس سے بڑھ کر ناگوار چیز کیا ہے؟ وہ دوزخ کی آگ ہے۔ جس کا اللہ نے کافروں سے وعدہ کر رکھا ہے۔ اور وہ بڑا برا ٹھکانہ ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
