فَإِذَا
Then when
قَضَيْتُم
you all finalize
مَّنَٰسِكَكُمْ
your official duties,
فَٱذْكُرُوا۟
then be in remembrance of
ٱللَّهَ
the One
كَذِكْرِكُمْ
as you remember
ءَابَآءَكُمْ
your forefathers
أَوْ
or
أَشَدَّ
even more
ذِكْرًۭا
remembrance;
ۗ
فَمِنَ
then from
ٱلنَّاسِ
the people is
مَن
who
يَقُولُ
says,
رَبَّنَآ
[Our Rabb!
ءَاتِنَا
Give us
فِى
in
ٱلدُّنْيَا
the World],
وَمَا
and not
لَهُۥ
for them
فِى
in
ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ
the forthcoming
مِنْ
of
خَلَٰقٍۢ
a share.
٢
٢٠٠
فَإِذَا قَضَيْتُم مَّنَٰسِكَكُمْ فَٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ كَذِكْرِكُمْ ءَابَآءَكُمْ أَوْ أَشَدَّ ذِكْرًۭا ۗ فَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَمَا لَهُۥ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلَٰقٍۢ Then when you all finalize your official duties, then be in remembrance of the One as you remember your forefathers or even more remembrance; then from the people is who says, [Our Rabb! Give us in the World], and not for them in the forthcoming of a share.

And when ye have completed your devotions, then remember Allah as ye remember your fathers or with a more lively remembrance. But of mankind is he who saith: [Our Lord! Give unto us in the world,] and he hath no portion in the Hereafter. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And when you finish your rites, then remember Allah as you would remember your fathers, or with a more ardent remembrance. Among the people there are those who say, [Our Lord, give us in this world,] but for such there is no share in the Hereafter. - Qarai, Ali Quli

After you complete the acts of your Hajj, also commemorate God, just as you would remember your father, or even more earnestly. Some people say, [Lord, give us what we want in this life,] but in the life hereafter they have no beneficial share. - Sarwar, Muhammad

So when you have performed your devotions, then laud Allah as you lauded your fathers, rather a greater lauding. But there are some people who say, Our Lord! give us in the world, and they shall have no resting place. - Shakir, Habib

When you have performed the acts of worship prescribed for you, celebrate the praises of God as you celebrated the praises of your fathers, or even more fervently than that. There are some who say, [Our Lord, give us abundance in this world.] These shall have no share in the world to come. - Wahiduddin Khan

پھر جب سارے مناسک تمام کرلو توخدا کو اسی طرح یاد رکھوجس طرح اپنے باپ دادا کو یاد کرتے ہو بلکہ اس سے بھی زیادہ کہ بعض لوگ ایسے ہیں جو کہتے ہیں کہ پروردگار ہمیں دنیا ہی میں نیکی دے دے اور ان کا آخرت میں کوئی حصّہ نہیں ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

پھر جب اپنے حج کے ارکان ادا کر چکو، تو جس طرح پہلے اپنے آبا و اجداد کا ذکر کرتے تھے، اُس طرح اب اللہ کا ذکر کرو، بلکہ اس سے بھی بڑھ کر (مگر اللہ کو یاد کرنے والے لوگوں میں بھی بہت فرق ہے) اُن میں سے کوئی تو ایسا ہے، جو کہتا ہے کہ اے ہمارے رب، ہمیں دنیا ہی میں سب کچھ دیدے ایسے شخص کے لیے آخرت میں کوئی حصہ نہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

پھر جب اپنے حج کے کام پورے کرچکو تو اللہ کا ذکر کرو جیسے اپنے باپ دادا کا ذکر کرتے تھے بلکہ اس سے زیادہ اور کوئی آدمی یوں کہتا ہے کہ اے رب ہمارے ہمیں دنیا میں دے اور آخرت میں اس کا کچھ حصہ نہیں، - Ahmed Raza

And from them
مَّن
is that who
يَقُولُ
says,
رَبَّنَآ
[Our Rabb!
ءَاتِنَا
Give us
فِى
in
ٱلدُّنْيَا
the World
حَسَنَةًۭ
goodness,
وَفِى
and in
ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ
the forthcoming
حَسَنَةًۭ
goodness (as well),
وَقِنَا
and keep us from
عَذَابَ
punishment of
ٱلنَّارِ
the fire.]

٢٠١
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةًۭ وَفِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ حَسَنَةًۭ وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ And from them is that who says, [Our Rabb! Give us in the World goodness, and in the forthcoming goodness (as well), and keep us from punishment of the fire.]

And of them (also) is he who saith: [Our Lord! Give unto us in the world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and guard us from the doom of Fire.] - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And among them there are those who say, [Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and save us from the punishment of the Fire.] - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
Others pray, [Lord, give us good things both in this life as well as in the life hereafter and save us from the torment of fire]. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
And there are some among them who say: Our Lord! grant us good in this world and good in the hereafter, and save us from the chastisement of the fire. - Shakir, Habib
⦿
But there are others who pray, [Our Lord, grant us good in this world as well as good in the world to come, and protect us from the torment of the Fire.] - Wahiduddin Khan

اور بعض کہتے ہیں کہ پروردگار ہمیں دنیا میں بھی نیکی عطا فرما اورآخرت میں بھی اور ہم کو عذاب جہّنم سے محفوظ فرما - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور کوئی کہتا ہے کہ اے ہمارے رب! ہمیں دنیا میں بھی بھلائی دے اور آخرت میں بھی بھلائی اور آگ کے عذاب سے ہمیں بچا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور کوئی یوں کہتا ہے کہ اے رب ہمارے! ہمیں دنیا میں بھلائی دے اور ہمیں آخرت میں بھلائی دے اور ہمیں عذاب دوزخ سے بچا - Ahmed Raza

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
Those are
لَهُمْ
for whom is
نَصِيبٌۭ
a share
مِّمَّا
from what
كَسَبُوا۟
they earn;
ۚ
وَٱللَّهُ
and the One is
سَرِيعُ
swift of
ٱلْحِسَابِ
the reckoning.
Those are for whom is a share from what they earn; and the One is swift of the reckoning.

For them there is in store a goodly portion out of that which they have earned. Allah is swift at reckoning. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جن کے لئے ان کی کمائی کا حصّہ ہے اور خدا بہت جلد حساب کرنے والاہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

ایسے لوگ اپنی کمائی کے مطابق (دونوں جگہ) حصہ پائیں گے اور اللہ کو حساب چکاتے کچھ دیر نہیں لگتی - Maududi, Abul A'ala

ایسوں کو ان کی کمائی سے بھاگ (خوش نصیبی) ہے اور اللہ جلد حساب کرنے والا ہے - Ahmed Raza

یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جو کچھ انہوں نے کمایا ہے اس سے (دنیا و آخرت میں) ان کو حصہ ملے گا اور اللہ بہت جلد حساب بے باق کرنے والا ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

And remember
ٱللَّهَ
the One
فِىٓ

أَيَّامٍۢ

مَّعْدُودَٰتٍۢ
preparations;
ۚ
فَمَن
then who
تَعَجَّلَ
quickly passes
فِى
within
يَوْمَيْنِ
two periods
فَلَآ
then no
إِثْمَ
offense
عَلَيْهِ
upon him,
وَمَن
and who
تَأَخَّرَ
does it till the end
فَلَآ
then no
إِثْمَ
offense
عَلَيْهِ
upon him,
ۚ
لِمَنِ
for whoever
ٱتَّقَىٰ
becomes aware;
ۗ
وَٱتَّقُوا۟
and be aware of
ٱللَّهَ
the One
وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟
and know
أَنَّكُمْ
that all of you
إِلَيْهِ
towards Him
تُحْشَرُونَ
will be gathered.

٢٠٣
وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ فِىٓ أَيَّامٍۢ مَّعْدُودَٰتٍۢ ۚ فَمَن تَعَجَّلَ فِى يَوْمَيْنِ فَلَآ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ وَمَن تَأَخَّرَ فَلَآ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ ۚ لِمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰ ۗ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ And remember the One in days of preparations; then who quickly passes within two periods then no offense upon him, and who does it till the end then no offense upon him, for whoever becomes aware; and be aware of the One and know that all of you towards Him will be gathered.

Remember Allah through the appointed days. Then whoso hasteneth (his departure) by two days, it is no sin for him, and whoso delayeth, it is no sin for him; that is for him who wardeth off (evil). Be careful of your duty to Allah, and know that unto Him ye will be gathered. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Remember Allah in the appointed days. Then whoever hastens off in a couple of days, there is no sin upon him, and whoever delays, there is no sin upon him—that for one who has been Godwary—and be wary of Allah and know that toward Him you will be mustered. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Commemorate (the names of) God in the prescribed days. For one who observes piety, it is not a sin to be hasty or tardy during the two days. Have fear of God and know that before Him you will all be raised after death. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And laud Allah during the numbered days; then whoever hastens off in two days, there is no blame on him, and whoever remains behind, there is no blame on him, (this is) for him who guards (against evil), and be careful (of your duty) to Allah, and know that you shall be gathered together to Him. - Shakir, Habib

Remember God during the appointed days; for one who hastens to leave in two days, it shall be no sin; and for one who stays on, it shall be no sin for him either. This is for one who fears God. Have fear of God, and know that you shall all be gathered before Him. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور چند معین دنوں میں ذک» خدا کرو. اسکے بعد جو دو دن کے اندر جلدی کرے گا اس پر بھی کوئی گناہ نہیں ہے اور جو تاخیر کرے گا اس پر بھی کوئی گناہ نہیں ہے بشرطیکہ پرہیزگار رہا ہو اور اللہ سے ڈرو اور یہ یاد رکھو کہ تم سب اسی کی طرف محشور کئے جاؤ گے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

یہ گنتی کے چند روز ہیں، جو تمہیں اللہ کی یاد میں بسر کرنے چاہییں پھر جو کوئی جلدی کر کے دو ہی دن میں واپس ہو گیا تو کوئی حرج نہیں، اور جو کچھ دیر زیادہ ٹھیر کر پلٹا تو بھی کوئی حرج نہیں بشر طیکہ یہ دن اس نے تقویٰ کے ساتھ بسر کیے ہو اللہ کی نافرمانی سے بچو اور خوب جان رکھو کہ ایک روز اس کے حضور میں تمہاری پیشی ہونے والی ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور اللہ کی یاد کرو گنے ہوئے دنوں میں تو جلدی کرکے دو دن میں چلا جائے اس پر کچھ گنا نہیں اور جو رہ جائے تو اس پر گناہ نہیں پرہیزگار کے لئے اور اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو اور جان رکھو کہ تمہیں اسی کی طرف اٹھنا ہے، - Ahmed Raza

اور گنتی کے چند دنوں میں خدا کو یاد کرو پس جو جلدی کرے گا اور (منٰی سے) دو ہی دن میں چلا جائے تو اس پر کوئی گناہ نہیں ہے۔ اور جو دیر کرے (تیسرے دن تک ٹھہرا رہے) اس پر بھی کوئی گناہ نہیں ہے مگر یہ (رعایت) اس کے لئے ہے جو (شکار سے) بچتا رہا ہو اور اللہ (کی نافرمانی سے) ڈرو اور یقین رکھو کہ تم اسی کے حضور اکھٹے کئے جاؤگے (پلٹ کر جاؤ گے)۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

And from
ٱلنَّاسِ
the people
مَن
there is one who
يُعْجِبُكَ
amazes you by
قَوْلُهُۥ
his speech
فِى
about
ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ
the life of
ٱلدُّنْيَا
the World,
وَيُشْهِدُ
and calls for witness
ٱللَّهَ
the One
عَلَىٰ
upon
مَا
what is
فِى
in
قَلْبِهِۦ
his heart,
وَهُوَ
and he is
أَلَدُّ
the most quarrelsome
ٱلْخِصَامِ
opponent.

٢٠٤
وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يُعْجِبُكَ قَوْلُهُۥ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَيُشْهِدُ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا فِى قَلْبِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَلَدُّ ٱلْخِصَامِ And from the people there is one who amazes you by his speech about the life of the World, and calls for witness the One upon what is in his heart, and he is the most quarrelsome opponent.

And of mankind there is he whoso conversation on the life of this world pleaseth thee (Muhammad), and he calleth Allah to witness as to that which is in his heart; yet he is the most rigid of opponents. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Among the people is he whose talk about worldly life impresses you, and he holds Allah witness to what is in his heart, though he is the staunchest of enemies. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
There are some people whose words about this life may please you. They say that God knows what they have in their hearts. But, in fact, they are the most quarrelsome opponents. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
And among men is he whose speech about the life of this world causes you to wonder, and he calls on Allah to witness as to what is in his heart, yet he is the most violent of adversaries. - Shakir, Habib
⦿
There are some men whose views on the affairs of this life may please you. They even call on God to witness whatever is in their heart, yet they are the most contentious of quarrellers. - Wahiduddin Khan

انسانوں میں ایسے لوگ بھی ہیں جن کی باتیں زندگانی دنیا میںبھلی لگتی ہیں اور وہ اپنے دل کی باتوں پر خدا کو گواہ بناتے ہیں حالانکہ وہ بدترین دشمن ہیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

انسانوں میں کوئی تو ایسا ہے، جس کی باتیں دنیا کی زندگی میں تمہیں بہت بھلی معلوم ہوتی ہیں، اور اپنی نیک نیتی پر وہ بار بار خد ا کو گواہ ٹھیرا تا ہے، مگر حقیقت میں وہ بد ترین دشمن حق ہوتا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور بعض آدمی وہ ہیں کہ دنیا کی زندگی میں اس کی بات تجھے بھلی لگے اور اپنے دل کی بات پر اللہ کو گواہ لائے اور وہ سب سے بڑا جھگڑالو ہے، - Ahmed Raza

اور بعض لوگ (منافقین) ایسے بھی ہیں کہ جن کی (چکنی چپڑی) باتیں تمہیں زندگانی دنیا میں بہت اچھی لگتی ہیں اور وہ اپنی دلی حالت پر خدا کو گواہ بناتے ہیں حالانکہ وہ (تمہارے) بدترین دشمن ہیں۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

And when
تَوَلَّىٰ
turns back,
سَعَىٰ
he strives
فِى

ٱلْأَرْضِ
the Earth
لِيُفْسِدَ
to spread corruption
فِيهَا
in it,
وَيُهْلِكَ
and he endangers
ٱلْحَرْثَ
the labour
وَٱلنَّسْلَ
and the produce;
ۗ
وَٱللَّهُ
and the One
لَا
not
يُحِبُّ
loves
ٱلْفَسَادَ
the corruption.
٢
٢٠٥
وَإِذَا تَوَلَّىٰ سَعَىٰ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ لِيُفْسِدَ فِيهَا وَيُهْلِكَ ٱلْحَرْثَ وَٱلنَّسْلَ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْفَسَادَ And when turns back, he strives in the Earth to spread corruption in it, and he endangers the labour and the produce; and the One not loves the corruption.
⦿
And when he turneth away (from thee) his effort in the land is to make mischief therein and to destroy the crops and the cattle; and Allah loveth not mischief. - Pickthall, Marmaduke
⦿
If he were to wield authority, he would try to cause corruption in the land and to ruin the crop and the stock, and Allah does not like corruption. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
As soon as they leave you, they quickly commit evil in the land, destroying the farms and people. God does not love evil. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
And when he turns back, he runs along in the land that he may cause mischief in it and destroy the tilth and the stock, and Allah does not love mischief-making. - Shakir, Habib

When he turns away, he sets out to spread corruption in the land, destroying crops and cattle. God does not love corruption. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور جب آپ کے پاس سے منہ پھیرتے ہیں تو زمین میں فساد برپا کرنے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں اور کھیتیوں اور نسلوں کو برباد کرتے ہیں جب کہ خدا فساد کو پسند نہیں کرتا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

جب اُسے اقتدار حاصل ہو جاتا ہے، تو زمین میں اُس کی ساری دوڑ دھوپ اس لیے ہوتی ہے کہ فساد پھیلائے، کھیتوں کو غارت کرے اور نسل انسانی کو تباہ کرے حالاں کہ اللہ (جسے وہ گواہ بنا رہا تھا) فساد کو ہرگز پسند نہیں کرتا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

وَإِذَا
And whenever
قِيلَ
was said
لَهُ
to him,
ٱتَّقِ
[Take heed of
ٱللَّهَ
the One],
أَخَذَتْهُ
took over him
ٱلْعِزَّةُ
the pride
بِٱلْإِثْمِ
regarding his offenses;
ۚ
فَحَسْبُهُۥ
thus enough for him is
جَهَنَّمُ
the abyss,
ۚ
وَلَبِئْسَ
and that is an evil
ٱلْمِهَادُ
resting place.

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُ ٱتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ أَخَذَتْهُ ٱلْعِزَّةُ بِٱلْإِثْمِ ۚ فَحَسْبُهُۥ جَهَنَّمُ ۚ وَلَبِئْسَ ٱلْمِهَادُ And whenever was said to him, [Take heed of the One], took over him the pride regarding his offenses; thus enough for him is the abyss, and that is an evil resting place.

And when it is said unto him: Be careful of thy duty to Allah, pride taketh him to sin. Hell will settle his account, an evil resting-place. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And when he is told, [Be wary of Allah,] conceit seizes him sinfully; so let hell suffice him, and it is surely an evil resting place! - Qarai, Ali Quli

When they are asked to have fear of God, sinful pride prevents them from paying heed to such advice. It is enough for them to have hell as a terrible dwelling place. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And when it is said to him, guard against (the punishment of) Allah; pride carries him off to sin, therefore hell is sufficient for him; and certainly it is an evil resting place. - Shakir, Habib

When he is told, [Have fear of God,] he is seized by pride which drives him to wrongdoing. Hell shall be enough for him. A dreadful resting place. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور جب اس سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ اللہ سے ڈر، تو اپنے وقار کا خیال اُس کو گناہ پر جما دیتا ہے ایسے شخص کے لیے تو بس جہنم ہی کافی ہے اور وہ بہت برا ٹھکانا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور جب اس سے کہا جائے کہ اللہ سے ڈرو تو اسے اور ضد چڑھے گنا ہ کی ایسے کو دوزخ کافی ہے اور وہ ضرور بہت برا بچھونا ہے، - Ahmed Raza

And from
ٱلنَّاسِ
the people is
مَن
that who
يَشْرِى
exchanges
نَفْسَهُ
his psyche for
ٱبْتِغَآءَ
seeking
مَرْضَاتِ
acknowledgements of
ٱللَّهِ
the One;
ۗ
وَٱللَّهُ
and the One is
رَءُوفٌۢ
compassionate
بِٱلْعِبَادِ
about His servants.

٢٠٧
وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَشْرِى نَفْسَهُ ٱبْتِغَآءَ مَرْضَاتِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ رَءُوفٌۢ بِٱلْعِبَادِ And from the people is that who exchanges his psyche for seeking acknowledgements of the One; and the One is compassionate about His servants.

And of mankind is he who would sell himself, seeking the pleasure of Allah; and Allah hath compassion on (His) bondmen. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And among the people is he who sells his soul seeking the pleasure of Allah, and Allah is most kind to [His] servants. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
There are those among people who give their lives to seek God's pleasure. God is Affectionate to His servants. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And among men is he who sells himself to seek the pleasure of Allah; and Allah is Affectionate to the servants. - Shakir, Habib
⦿
But there are others who would dedicate themselves to seeking the pleasure of God. God is compassionate to His servants. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور لوگوں میں وہ بھی ہیں جو اپنے نفس کو مرضی پروردگار کے لئے بیچ ڈالتے ہیں اور اللہ اپنے بندوں پر بڑا مہربان ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

دوسری طرف انسانوں ہی میں کوئی ایسا بھی ہے، جو رضا ئے الٰہی کی طلب میں اپنی جان کھپا دیتا ہے اور ایسے بندوں پر اللہ بہت مہربان ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور کوئی آدمی اپنی جان بیچتا ہے اللہ کی مرضی چاہنے میں اور اللہ بندوں پر مہربان ہے، - Ahmed Raza

اور انسانوں میں سے کچھ ایسے (انسان) بھی ہیں جو خدا کی خوشنودی حاصل کرنے کی خاطر اپنی جان بیچ ڈالتے ہیں (خطرے میں ڈال دیتے ہیں) اور اللہ (ایسے جاں نثار) بندوں پر بڑا شفیق و مہربان ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O you of
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
ءَامَنُوا۟
have conviction!
ٱدْخُلُوا۟
Enter
فِى
into
ٱلسِّلْمِ
the safety
كَآفَّةًۭ
completely
وَلَا
and don't
تَتَّبِعُوا۟
you follow
خُطُوَٰتِ
the writings of
ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ
the closed-minded fiend;
ۚ
إِنَّهُۥ
indeed he
لَكُمْ
for you
عَدُوٌّۭ
is an enemy
مُّبِينٌۭ
clearly.

٢٠٨
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ فِى ٱلسِّلْمِ كَآفَّةًۭ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ خُطُوَٰتِ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّۭ مُّبِينٌۭ O you of the ones who have conviction! Enter into the safety completely and don't you follow the writings of the closed-minded fiend; indeed he for you is an enemy clearly.

O ye who believe! Come, all of you, into submission (unto Him); and follow not the footsteps of the devil. Lo! he is an open enemy for you. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O you who have faith! Enter into submission, all together, and do not follow in Satan]s steps; he is indeed your manifest enemy. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Believers, submit yourselves to the will of God as a whole. Do not follow the footsteps of Satan; he is your sworn enemy. - Sarwar, Muhammad

O you who believe! enter into submission one and all and do not follow the footsteps of Shaitan; surely he is your open enemy. - Shakir, Habib

Believers, surrender yourselves totally to God, and do not follow in the footsteps of Satan; surely, he is your sworn enemy. - Wahiduddin Khan

ایمان والو! تم سب مکمل طریقہ سے اسلام میں داخل ہوجاؤ اور شیطانی اقدامات کا اتباع نہ کرو کہ وہ تمہارا کھلا ہوا دشمن ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اے ایمان لانے والو! تم پورے کے پورے اسلام میں آ جاؤ اور شیطان کی پیروی نہ کرو کہ وہ تمہارا کھلا دشمن ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اے ایمان والو! اسلام میں پورے داخل ہو اور شیطان کے قدموں پر نہ چلے بیشک وہ تمہارا کھلا دشمن ہے، - Ahmed Raza

فَإِن
Then if
زَلَلْتُم
you go astray
مِّنۢ
from
بَعْدِ
after
مَا
what
جَآءَتْكُمُ
came to you of
ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتُ
the clarifications,
فَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟
then know
أَنَّ
that
ٱللَّهَ
the One is
عَزِيزٌ
firm of
حَكِيمٌ
judgement.
٢
٢٠٩
فَإِن زَلَلْتُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْكُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتُ فَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ Then if you go astray from after what came to you of the clarifications, then know that the One is firm of judgement.

And if ye slide back after the clear proofs have come unto you, then know that Allah is Mighty, Wise. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And should you stumble after the manifest proofs that have come to you, know that Allah is all-mighty, all-wise. - Qarai, Ali Quli

If you are seduced after you have received the authoritative guidance, know that God is Majestic and Wise. - Sarwar, Muhammad

But if you slip after clear arguments have come to you, then know that Allah is Mighty, Wise. - Shakir, Habib

But if you lapse after the clear signs that have come to you, then know that God is mighty and wise. - Wahiduddin Khan

پھر اگر کھلی نشانیوں کے آجانے کے بعد لغزش پیدا ہوجائے تو یاد رکھو کہ خدا سب پر غالب ہے اور صاحبِ حکمت ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

جو صاف صاف ہدایات تمہارے پا س آ چکی ہیں، اگر ان کو پا لینے کے بعد پھر تم نے لغز ش کھائی، تو خوب جان رکھو کہ اللہ سب پر غالب اور حکیم و دانا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور اگر اس کے بعد بھی بچلو کہ تمہارے پاس روشن حکم آچکے تو جان لو کہ اللہ زبردست حکمت والا ہے، - Ahmed Raza

اور اگر روشن دلیلوں (واضح احکام) کے آجانے کے بعد بھی تم ڈگمگا گئے تو خوب جان لو کہ اللہ زبردست (سب پر غالب) اور بڑی حکمت والا ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

Are
يَنظُرُونَ
they waiting,
إِلَّآ
except for
أَن
that
يَأْتِيَهُمُ
comes to them
ٱللَّهُ
the One Himself
فِى
within
ظُلَلٍۢ
shades
مِّنَ
of
ٱلْغَمَامِ
the clouds,
وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
and the malaikati,
وَقُضِىَ
and execute
ٱلْأَمْرُ
the command (Himself)?
ۚ
وَإِلَى
Whereas towards
ٱللَّهِ
the One is
تُرْجَعُ
consultation of
ٱلْأُمُورُ
the commands.

هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِى ظُلَلٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْغَمَامِ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَقُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ ۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ ٱلْأُمُورُ Are they waiting, except for that comes to them the One Himself within shades of the clouds, and the malaikati, and execute the command (Himself)? Whereas towards the One is consultation of the commands.

Wait they for naught else than that Allah should come unto them in the shadows of the clouds with the angels? Then the case would be already judged. All cases go back to Allah (for judgment). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Do they await anything but that Allah []s command] should come to them in the shades of the clouds, with the angels, and the matter be decided [once for all]? To Allah all matters are returned. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Have they decided not to believe until God comes down in a shadow of clouds with the angels so that then the matter is settled? To God do all matters return. - Sarwar, Muhammad

They do not wait aught but that Allah should come to them in the shadows of the clouds along with the angels, and the matter has (already) been decided; and (all) matters are returned to Allah. - Shakir, Habib

Are they only waiting for God as well as the angels to come down to them under canopies of clouds, so that the matter will be settled? All things return to God. - Wahiduddin Khan

یہ لوگ اس بات کا انتظار کررہے ہیں کہ ابر کے سایہ کے پیچھے عذابِ خدا یا ملائکہ آجائیں اور ہر امر کا فیصلہ ہوجائے اور سارے امور کی بازگشت تو خدا ہی کی طرف ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

(اِن ساری نصیحتوں اور ہدایتوں کے بعد بھی لوگ سیدھے نہ ہوں، تو) کیا اب وہ اِس کے منتظر ہیں کہ اللہ بادلوں کا چتر لگائے فرشتوں کے پرے سا تھ لیے خود سامنے آ موجود ہو اور فیصلہ ہی کر ڈالا جائے؟ آخر کار سارے معاملات پیش تو اللہ ہی کے حضور ہونے والے ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

کاہے کے انتظار میں ہیں مگر یہی کہ اللہ کا عذاب آئے چھائے ہوئے بادلوں میں اور فرشتے اتریں اور کام ہوچکے اور سب کاموں کی رجوع اللہ کی طرف ہے، - Ahmed Raza
