ٱللَّهُ
The One
يَسْتَهْزِئُ
makes mockery
بِهِمْ
about them,
وَيَمُدُّهُمْ
and it reinforces them
فِى
in
طُغْيَٰنِهِمْ
their rebellion,
يَعْمَهُونَ
blinding them.
The One makes mockery about them, and it reinforces them in their rebellion, blinding them.
⦿
Allah (Himself) doth mock them, leaving them to wander blindly on in their contumacy. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

It is Allah who derides them, and leaves them bewildered in their rebellion. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Those are
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
ٱشْتَرَوُا۟
exchanged
ٱلضَّلَٰلَةَ
the misguidance
بِٱلْهُدَىٰ
through guidance,
فَمَا
thus not
رَبِحَت
prospered
تِّجَٰرَتُهُمْ
their trade,
وَمَا
and not
كَانُوا۟
they were
مُهْتَدِينَ
those who were guided.
٢
١٦
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱشْتَرَوُا۟ ٱلضَّلَٰلَةَ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ فَمَا رَبِحَت تِّجَٰرَتُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُهْتَدِينَ Those are the ones who exchanged the misguidance through guidance, thus not prospered their trade, and not they were those who were guided.
⦿
These are they who purchase error at the price of guidance, so their commerce doth not prosper, neither are they guided. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

They are the ones who bought error for guidance, so their trade did not profit them, nor were they guided. - Qarai, Ali Quli

They have traded guidance for error, but their bargain has had no profit and they have missed the true guidance. - Sarwar, Muhammad

یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے ہدایت کو دے کرگمراہی خرید لی ہے جس تجارت سے نہ کوئی فائدہ ہے اور نہ اس میں کسی طرح کی ہدایت ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

Their example is

ٱلَّذِى
the one who
ٱسْتَوْقَدَ

نَارًۭا
a burning torch,
فَلَمَّآ
then when
أَضَآءَتْ
lit up
مَا
what was
حَوْلَهُۥ
around him,
ذَهَبَ
betook
ٱللَّهُ
the One
بِنُورِهِمْ
with their sight
وَتَرَكَهُمْ
and left them
فِى
in
ظُلُمَٰتٍۢ
darknesses
لَّا
not
يُبْصِرُونَ
which they can see.
٢
١٧
مَثَلُهُمْ كَمَثَلِ ٱلَّذِى ٱسْتَوْقَدَ نَارًۭا فَلَمَّآ أَضَآءَتْ مَا حَوْلَهُۥ ذَهَبَ ٱللَّهُ بِنُورِهِمْ وَتَرَكَهُمْ فِى ظُلُمَٰتٍۢ لَّا يُبْصِرُونَ Their example is like that of the one who ignited a burning torch, then when lit up what was around him, betook the One with their sight and left them in darknesses not which they can see.

Their likeness is as the likeness of one who kindleth fire, and when it sheddeth its light around him Allah taketh away their light and leaveth them in darkness, where they cannot see, - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Their parable is that of one who lighted a torch, and when it had lit up all around him, Allah took away their light, and left them sightless in a manifold darkness. - Qarai, Ali Quli

(Their case) is like that of one who kindles a fire and when it grows bright God takes away its light leaving him in darkness (wherein) he cannot see (anything). - Sarwar, Muhammad

اِن کی مثال ایسی ہے جیسے ایک شخص نے آگ روشن کی اور جب اُس نے سارے ماحول کو روشن کر دیا تو اللہ نے اِن کا نور بصارت سلب کر لیا اور انہیں اس حال میں چھوڑ دیا کہ تاریکیوں میں انہیں کچھ نظر نہیں آتا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

Or
كَصَيِّبٍۢ
like a pour down
مِّنَ

ٱلسَّمَآءِ

ظُلُمَٰتٌۭ
darknesses,
وَرَعْدٌۭ
and thunder,
وَبَرْقٌۭ
and lightning
يَجْعَلُونَ
— they put
أَصَٰبِعَهُمْ
their fingers
فِىٓ
in
ءَاذَانِهِم
their ears
مِّنَ
from
ٱلصَّوَٰعِقِ
the thunderbolts
حَذَرَ
fearing
ٱلْمَوْتِ
the death —
ۚ
وَٱللَّهُ
and the One is
مُحِيطٌۢ
encompassed
بِٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
around the deniers.
٢
١٩
أَوْ كَصَيِّبٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فِيهِ ظُلُمَٰتٌۭ وَرَعْدٌۭ وَبَرْقٌۭ يَجْعَلُونَ أَصَٰبِعَهُمْ فِىٓ ءَاذَانِهِم مِّنَ ٱلصَّوَٰعِقِ حَذَرَ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ مُحِيطٌۢ بِٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ Or like a pour down from the sky, in it darknesses, and thunder, and lightning — they put their fingers in their ears from the thunderbolts fearing the death — and the One is encompassed around the deniers.

Or like a rainstorm from the sky, wherein is darkness, thunder and the flash of lightning. They thrust their fingers in their ears by reason of the thunder-claps, for fear of death, Allah encompasseth the disbelievers (in His guidance, His omniscience and His omnipotence). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Or that of a rainstorm from the sky, wherein is darkness, thunder and lightning: they put their fingers in their ears due to the thunderclaps, apprehensive of death; and Allah besieges the faithless. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Or like abundant rain from the cloud in which is utter darkness and thunder and lightning; they put their fingers into their ears because of the thunder peal, for fear of death, and Allah encompasses the unbelievers. - Shakir, Habib

ان کی دوسری مثال آسمان کی اس بارش کی ہے جس میں تاریکی اور گرج چمک سب کچھ ہوکہ موت کے خوف سے کڑک دیکھ کر کانوں میں انگلیاں رکھ لیں. حالانکہ خدا کافروں کا احاطہ کئے ہوئے ہے اور یہ بچ کر نہیں جاسکتے ہیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

یا پھر ان کی مثال یوں سمجھو کہ آسمان سے زور کی بارش ہو رہی ہے اور اس کے ساتھ اندھیری گھٹا اور کڑک چمک بھی ہے، یہ بجلی کے کڑاکے سن کر اپنی جانوں کے خوف سے کانوں میں انگلیاں ٹھو نسے لیتے ہیں اور اللہ اِن منکرین حق کو ہر طرف سے گھیرے میں لیے ہوئے ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

یا جیسے آسمان سے اترتا پانی کہ ان میں اندھیریاں ہیں اور گرج اور چمک اپنے کانوں میں انگلیاں ٹھونس رہے ہیں، کڑک کے سبب، موت کے ڈر سے اور اللہ کافروں کو، گھیرے ہوئے ہے - - Ahmed Raza

The blazing spark of
ٱلْبَرْقُ
the lightning (the Creator's message)
يَخْطَفُ
snatches
أَبْصَٰرَهُمْ
their sights;
ۖ
كُلَّمَآ
whatever
أَضَآءَ
shines
لَهُم
to them
مَّشَوْا۟
they walk
فِيهِ
in it,
وَإِذَآ
and whenever
أَظْلَمَ
it becomes dark
عَلَيْهِمْ
on them
قَامُوا۟
they come to a halt.
ۚ
وَلَوْ
And what if
شَآءَ
willed
ٱللَّهُ
the One
لَذَهَبَ
to part
بِسَمْعِهِمْ
with their hearings
وَأَبْصَٰرِهِمْ
and their visions?
ۚ
إِنَّ
Of course!
ٱللَّهَ
The One is
عَلَىٰ
over
كُلِّ
all
شَىْءٍۢ
things
قَدِيرٌۭ
capable.
٢
٢٠
يَكَادُ ٱلْبَرْقُ يَخْطَفُ أَبْصَٰرَهُمْ ۖ كُلَّمَآ أَضَآءَ لَهُم مَّشَوْا۟ فِيهِ وَإِذَآ أَظْلَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ قَامُوا۟ ۚ وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَذَهَبَ بِسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَٰرِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ The blazing spark of the lightning (the Creator's message) snatches their sights; whatever shines to them they walk in it, and whenever it becomes dark on them they come to a halt. And what if willed the One to part with their hearings and their visions? Of course! The One is over all things capable.

The lightning almost snatcheth away their sight from them. As often as it flasheth forth for them they walk therein, and when it darkeneth against them they stand still. If Allah willed, He could destroy their hearing and their sight. Lo! Allah is able to do all things. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

The lightning almost snatches away their sight: whenever it shines for them, they walk in it, and when the darkness falls upon them, they stand. Had Allah willed, He would have taken away their hearing and sight. Indeed Allah has power over all things. - Qarai, Ali Quli

قریب ہے کہ بجلی ان کی آنکھوں کو چکاچوندھ کردے کہ جب وہ چمک جائے تو چل پڑیں اور جب اندھیرا ہوجائے تو ٹھہر جائیں. خدا چاہے تو ان کی سماعت و بصارت کو بھی ختم کرسکتا ہے کہ وہ ہر شے پر قدرت و اختیار رکھنے والا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

چمک سے ان کی حالت یہ ہو رہی ہے کہ گویا عنقریب بجلی اِن کی بصارت اُچک لے جائے گی جب ذرا کچھ روشنی انہیں محسوس ہوتی ہے تو اِس میں کچھ دور چل لیتے ہیں اور جب ان پر اندھیرا چھا جاتا ہے تو کھڑ ے ہو جاتے ہیں اللہ چاہتا تو ان کی سماعت اور بصارت بالکل ہی سَلب کر لیتا، یقیناً وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

بجلی یوں معلوم ہوتی ہے کہ ان کی نگاہیں اچک لے جائے گی جب کچھ چمک ہوئی اس میں چلنے لگے اور جب اندھیرا ہوا کھڑے رہ گئے اور اللہ چاہتا تو ان کے کان اور آنکھیں لے جاتا بیشک اللہ سب کچھ کرسکتا ہے - - Ahmed Raza

قریب ہے کہ بجلی (کی چمک) ان کی آنکھوں کو اچک لے (انہیں خیرہ کر دے) جب بجلی ان کے لئے اجالا کرتی ہے تو وہ اس کی روشنی میں چلنے لگتے ہیں اور جب اندھیرا چھا جاتا ہے تو کھڑے رہ جاتے ہیں اگر اللہ چاہتا تو ان کی سماعت و بصارت (سننے اور دیکھنے کی طاقت) کو زائل کر دیتا۔ بے شک اللہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O you of
ٱلنَّاسُ
the populace!
ٱعْبُدُوا۟
Be in servitude
رَبَّكُمُ
of your Rabb
ٱلَّذِى
— the Entity who
خَلَقَكُمْ
created you
وَٱلَّذِينَ
and the ones
مِن
from
قَبْلِكُمْ
before you —
لَعَلَّكُمْ
so that you
تَتَّقُونَ
be strong.
٢
٢١
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ رَبَّكُمُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُمْ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ O you of the populace! Be in servitude of your Rabb — the Entity who created you and the ones from before you — so that you be strong.

O mankind! worship your Lord, Who hath created you and those before you, so that ye may ward off (evil). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

People, worship your Lord who created you and those who lived before you, so that you may become pious. - Sarwar, Muhammad

اے انسانو! پروردگار کی عبادت کرو جس نے تمہیں بھی پیدا کیا ہے اور تم سے پہلے والوں کو بھی خلق کیاہے. شاید کہ تم اسی طرح متقی اور پرہیزگار بن جاؤ - Jawadi, Zeeshan

لوگو! بندگی اختیار کرو اپنے اُس رب کی جو تمہارا اور تم سے پہلے جو لوگ ہو گزرے ہیں اُن سب کا خالق ہے، تمہارے بچنے کی توقع اِسی صورت ہوسکتی ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اے لوگو! اپنے رب کو پوجو جس نے تمہیں اور تم سے اگلوں کو پیدا کیا، یہ امید کرتے ہوئے، کہ تمہیں پرہیزگاری ملے - - Ahmed Raza

ٱلَّذِى
The Entity who
جَعَلَ
made
لَكُمُ
for you
ٱلْأَرْضَ
the Earth
فِرَٰشًۭا
spreading out,
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ
and the firmament
بِنَآءًۭ
as a roof,
وَأَنزَلَ
and sent down
مِنَ
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
the firmament
مَآءًۭ
basic essence,
فَأَخْرَجَ
then brought out
بِهِۦ
through it
مِنَ
from
ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ
the results
رِزْقًۭا
as sustenance
لَّكُمْ
for you all.
ۖ
فَلَا
So do not
تَجْعَلُوا۟
make
لِلَّهِ
for the One
أَندَادًۭا
any oppositions
وَأَنتُمْ
while
تَعْلَمُونَ
you know of it.
٢
٢٢
ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ فِرَٰشًۭا وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بِنَآءًۭ وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ فَأَخْرَجَ بِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ رِزْقًۭا لَّكُمْ ۖ فَلَا تَجْعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ أَندَادًۭا وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ The Entity who made for you the Earth spreading out, and the firmament as a roof, and sent down from the firmament basic essence, then brought out through it from the results as sustenance for you all. So do not make for the One any oppositions while you know of it.

Who hath appointed the earth a resting-place for you, and the sky a canopy; and causeth water to pour down from the sky, thereby producing fruits as food for you. And do not set up rivals to Allah when ye know (better). - Pickthall, Marmaduke
⦿
—He who made the earth a place of repose for you, and the sky a canopy, and He sends down water from the sky and with it brings forth crops for your sustenance. So do not set up equals to Allah, while you know. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Worship God who has rendered the earth as a floor for you and the sky as a dome for you and has sent water down from the sky to produce fruits for your sustenance. Do not knowingly set up anything as an equal to God. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Who made the earth a resting place for you and the heaven a canopy and (Who) sends down rain from the cloud, then brings forth with it subsistence for you of the fruits; therefore do not set up rivals to Allah while you know. - Shakir, Habib

who made the earth a bed, and the sky a canopy; and it is He who sends down rain from above for the growth of every kind of food for your sustenance. And do not knowingly set up rivals to God. - Wahiduddin Khan

اس پروردگار نے تمہارے لئے زمین کا فرش اور آسمان کا شامیانہ بنایا ہے اور پھر آسمان سے پانی برسا کر تمہاری روزی کے لئے زمین سے پھل نکالے ہیں لہذا اس کے لئے جان بوجھ کر کسی کو ہمسر اور مثل نہ بناؤ - Jawadi, Zeeshan

وہی تو ہے جِس نے تمہارے لیے زمین کا فرش بچھایا، آسمان کی چھت بنائی، اوپر سے پانی برسایا اور اس کے ذریعے سے ہر طرح کی پیداوار نکال کر تمہارے لیے رزق بہم پہنچایا پس جب تم یہ جانتے ہو تو دوسروں کو اللہ کا مد مقابل نہ ٹھیراؤ - Maududi, Abul A'ala

جس نے تمہارے لئے زمین کو بچھونا اور آسمان کو عمارت بنایا اور آسمان سے پانی اتارا تو اس سے کچھ پھل نکالے تمہارے کھانے کو۔ تو اللہ کے لئے جان بوجھ کر برابر والے نہ ٹھہراؤ - Ahmed Raza

And if
كُنتُمْ
you happen to be
فِى

رَيْبٍۢ
doubt
مِّمَّا
with what
نَزَّلْنَا
We have alighted
عَلَىٰ
over
عَبْدِنَا
Our servant,
فَأْتُوا۟
then come
بِسُورَةٍۢ
with a chapter
مِّن
of
مِّثْلِهِۦ
like it,
وَٱدْعُوا۟
and call for
شُهَدَآءَكُم
your witnesses
مِّن
from
دُونِ
inferior to
ٱللَّهِ
the One
إِن
if
كُنتُمْ
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
truthful.
٢
٢٣
وَإِن كُنتُمْ فِى رَيْبٍۢ مِّمَّا نَزَّلْنَا عَلَىٰ عَبْدِنَا فَأْتُوا۟ بِسُورَةٍۢ مِّن مِّثْلِهِۦ وَٱدْعُوا۟ شُهَدَآءَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ And if you happen to be in doubt with what We have alighted over Our servant, then come with a chapter of like it, and call for your witnesses from inferior to the One if you are truthful.
⦿
And if ye are in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto Our slave (Muhammad), then produce a surah of the like thereof, and call your witness beside Allah if ye are truthful. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And if you are in doubt concerning what We have sent down to Our servant, then bring a surah like it, and invoke your helpers besides Allah, if you are truthful. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Should you have any doubt about what We have revealed to Our servant, present one chapter comparable to it and call all your supporters, besides God, if your claim is true. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
And if you are in doubt as to that which We have revealed to Our servant, then produce a chapter like it and call on your witnesses besides Allah if you are truthful. - Shakir, Habib

If you are in doubt about the revelation We have sent down to Our servant, then produce a single chapter like it, and call upon your helpers besides God, if you are truthful. - Wahiduddin Khan

اگر تمہیں اس کلام کے بارے میں کوئی شک ہے جسے ہم نے اپنے بندے پر نازل کیا ہے تو اس کا جیسا ایک ہی سورہ لے آؤ اور اللہ کے علاوہ جتنے تمہارے مددگار ہیںسب کو بلالو اگر تم اپنے دعوے اور خیال میںسچّے ہو - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور اگر تمہیں اِس امر میں شک ہے کہ یہ کتا ب جو ہم نے اپنے بندے پر اتاری ہے، یہ ہماری ہے یا نہیں، تواس کے مانند ایک ہی سورت بنا لاؤ، اپنے سارے ہم نواؤں کو بلا لو، ایک اللہ کو چھوڑ کر باقی جس جس کی چاہو، مدد لے لو، اگر تم سچے ہو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور اگر تمہیں کچھ شک ہو اس میں جو ہم نے اپنے (اس خاص) بندے پر اتارا تو اس جیسی ایک سورت تو لے آؤ اور اللہ کے سوا، اپنے سب حمایتیوں کو بلالو، اگر تم سچے ہو۔ - Ahmed Raza

اور جو کچھ (قرآن) ہم نے اپنے بندہ (خاص) پر نازل کیا ہے اگر تمہیں اس (کے کلام اللہ ہونے) میں شک ہے تو تم اس کے مانند ایک ہی سورہ لے آؤ۔ اور اگر تم سچے ہو تو ایک اللہ کو چھوڑ کر اپنے سب حمایتیوں و ہم نواؤں کو بھی بلا لو۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

But if
لَّمْ
not
تَفْعَلُوا۟
you do,
وَلَن
and will not
تَفْعَلُوا۟
you do,
فَٱتَّقُوا۟
then be aware of
ٱلنَّارَ
the fire
ٱلَّتِى
whose
وَقُودُهَا
fuel are
ٱلنَّاسُ
the people
وَٱلْحِجَارَةُ
and the isolation,
ۖ
أُعِدَّتْ
prepared
لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ
for the deniers.
٢
٢٤
فَإِن لَّمْ تَفْعَلُوا۟ وَلَن تَفْعَلُوا۟ فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱلنَّارَ ٱلَّتِى وَقُودُهَا ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱلْحِجَارَةُ ۖ أُعِدَّتْ لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ But if not you do, and will not you do, then be aware of the fire whose fuel are the people and the isolation, prepared for the deniers.
⦿
And if ye do it not - and ye can never do it - then guard yourselves against the Fire prepared for disbelievers, whose fuel is of men and stones. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

But if you do not—and you will not—then beware the Fire whose fuel will be humans and stones, prepared for the faithless. - Qarai, Ali Quli

If you do not produce such a chapter and you never will then guard yourselves against the fire whose fuel will be people and stones and is prepared for those who hide the Truth. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
But if you do (it) not and never shall you do (it), then be on your guard against the fire of which men and stones are the fuel; it is prepared for the unbelievers. - Shakir, Habib
⦿
But if you cannot do it, and you can never do it, then guard yourselves against the Fire whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for those who deny the truth. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور اگر تم ایسا نہ کرسکے اور یقینا نہ کرسکوگے تو اس آگ سے ڈرو جس کا ایندھن انسان اور پتھر ہیں اور جسے کافرین کے لئے مہیا کیا گیا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

تو یہ کام کر کے دکھاؤ، لیکن اگر تم نے ایسا نہ کیا اور یقیناً کبھی نہیں کرسکتے، تو ڈرو اس آگ سے جس کا ایندھن بنیں گے انسان اور پتھر، جو مہیا کی گئی ہے منکرین حق کے لیے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

پھر اگر نہ لا سکو اور ہم فرمائے دیتے ہیں کہ ہر گز نہ لا سکو گے تو ڈرو اس آگ سے، جس کا ایندھن آدمی اور پتھر ہیں تیار رکھی ہے کافروں کے لئے - - Ahmed Raza

لیکن اگر تم یہ کام نہ کر سکو اور ہرگز ایسا نہیں کر سکوگے تو پھر (دوزخ کی) اس آگ سے ڈرو۔ جس کا ایندھن آدمی اور پتھر ہیں جو کافروں کے لئے تیار کی گئی ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

وَبَشِّرِ
And give good news to
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
ءَامَنُوا۟
became convinced
وَعَمِلُوا۟
and they did
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
the constructive works,
أَنَّ
that
لَهُمْ
for them are
جَنَّٰتٍۢ
gardens
تَجْرِى
— flowing
مِن
from
تَحْتِهَا
under those
ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ
are rivers.
ۖ
كُلَّمَا
Whatever
رُزِقُوا۟
are provided
مِنْهَا
from it
مِن
of
ثَمَرَةٍۢ
fruitful
رِّزْقًۭا
sustenance,
ۙ
قَالُوا۟
they say,
هَٰذَا
[This is
ٱلَّذِى
that
رُزِقْنَا
sustenance we were given
مِن
from
قَبْلُ
before],
ۖ
وَأُتُوا۟
while they were given
بِهِۦ
through it
مُتَشَٰبِهًۭا
a similarity,
ۖ
وَلَهُمْ
and for them
فِيهَآ
therein are
أَزْوَٰجٌۭ
partners who are
مُّطَهَّرَةٌۭ
progressive,
ۖ
وَهُمْ
and they
فِيهَا
therein
خَٰلِدُونَ
will be immortalized.
٢
٢٥
وَبَشِّرِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۖ كُلَّمَا رُزِقُوا۟ مِنْهَا مِن ثَمَرَةٍۢ رِّزْقًۭا ۙ قَالُوا۟ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى رُزِقْنَا مِن قَبْلُ ۖ وَأُتُوا۟ بِهِۦ مُتَشَٰبِهًۭا ۖ وَلَهُمْ فِيهَآ أَزْوَٰجٌۭ مُّطَهَّرَةٌۭ ۖ وَهُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ And give good news to the ones who became convinced and they did the constructive works, that for them are gardens — flowing from under those are rivers. Whatever are provided from it of fruitful sustenance, they say, [This is that sustenance we were given from before], while they were given through it a similarity, and for them therein are partners who are progressive, and they therein will be immortalized.

And give glad tidings (O Muhammad) unto those who believe and do good works; that theirs are Gardens underneath which rivers flow; as often as they are regaled with food of the fruit thereof, they say: this is what was given us aforetime; and it is given to them in resemblance. There for them are pure companions; there for ever they abide. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And give good news to those who have faith and do righteous deeds, that for them shall be gardens with streams running in them: whenever they are provided with their fruit for nourishment, they will say, [This is what we were provided before,] and they were given something resembling it. There will be chaste mates for them, and they will remain therein [forever]. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
(Muhammad), tell the righteously striving believers of the happy news, that for them there are gardens wherein streams flow. Whenever they get any fruit from the gardens as food, they will say, [This is just what we had before (we came here). These fruits are produced very much like them (those we had before).] They will have purified spouses and it is they who will live forever. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And convey good news to those who believe and do good deeds, that they shall have gardens in which rivers flow; whenever they shall be given a portion of the fruit thereof, they shall say: This is what was given to us before; and they shall be given the like of it, and they shall have pure mates in them, and in them, they shall abide. - Shakir, Habib

Give the good news to those who believe and do good works, that they will have Gardens through which rivers flow: whenever they are given fruit to eat they will say, [This is what we were provided with before,] because they were given similar things. And there will be pure spouses for them, and they will abide there forever. - Wahiduddin Khan

پیغمبر آپ ایمان اور عمل صالح والوں کو بشارت دے دیں کہ ان کے لئے ایسے باغات ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہیں. انہیں جب بھی وہاںکوئی پھل دیا جائے گا تو وہ یہی کہیں گے کہ یہ تو ہمیں پہلے مل چکا ہے. حالانکہ وہ صرف اس کے مشابہ ہوگا اور ان کے لئے وہاں پاکیزہ بیویاں بھی ہوں گی اور انہیں اس میں ہمیشہ رہنا بھی ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور اے پیغمبرؐ، جو لوگ اس کتاب پر ایمان لے آئیں اور (اس کے مطابق) اپنے عمل درست کر لیں، انہیں خوش خبری دے دو کہ اُن کے لیے ایسے باغ ہیں، جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہوں گی ان باغوں کے پھل صورت میں دنیا کے پھلوں سے ملتے جلتے ہونگے جب کوئی پھل انہیں کھانے کو دیا جائے گا، تو وہ کہیں گے کہ ایسے ہی پھل اس سے پہلے دنیا میں ہم کو دیے جاتے تھے ان کے لیے وہاں پاکیزہ بیویاں ہونگی، اور وہ وہاں ہمیشہ رہیں گے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور خوشخبری دے، انہیں جو ایمان لائے اور اچھے کام کئے، کہ ان کے لئے باغ ہیں، جن کے نیچے نہریں رواں جب انہیں ان باغوں سے کوئی پھل کھانے کو دیا جائے گا، (صورت دیکھ کر) کہیں گے، یہ تو وہی رزق ہے جو ہمیں پہلے ملا تھا اور وہ (صورت میں) ملتا جلتا انہیں دیا گیا اور ان کے لئے ان باغوں میں ستھری بیبیاں ہیں اور وہ ان میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے - - Ahmed Raza

اور (اے رسول) ان لوگوں کو خوشخبری دے دو جو ایمان لائے اور نیک عمل کئے۔ کہ ان کے لئے (بہشت کے) ایسے باغ ہیں کہ جن کے نیچے سے نہریں جاری ہیں۔ جب بھی انہیں ان (باغات) سے کوئی پھل کھانے کو ملے گا تو وہ (اس کی صورت دیکھ کر) کہیں گے کہ یہ تو وہی ہے جو اس سے پہلے ہمیں (دنیا میں) کھانے کو مل چکا ہے۔ حالانکہ انہیں جو دیا گیا ہے وہ (صورت میں دنیا کے پھل سے) ملتا جلتا ہے (مگر ذائقہ الگ ہوگا) اور ان کے لئے وہاں پاکیزہ بیویاں ہوں گی اور وہ ان (بہشتوں) میں ہمیشہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
