We called him from the right slope of the Mount, and brought him nigh in communion. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

We called him from the right side of the Mount and We drew him near [to Ourselves] for confidential discourse. - Qarai, Ali Quli

And we granted
لَهُۥ

Our mercy
أَخَاهُ
his brother
هَٰرُونَ
Haroon
نَبِيًّۭا
as a revolutionary leader.
And we granted to him from Our mercy his brother Haroon as a revolutionary leader.

And We bestowed upon him of Our mercy his brother Aaron, a prophet (likewise). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

ٱلْوَعْدِ
the pledge
وَكَانَ
and was
رَسُولًۭا
a messenger,
نَّبِيًّۭا
a revolutionary leader.

وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ إِسْمَٰعِيلَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صَادِقَ ٱلْوَعْدِ وَكَانَ رَسُولًۭا نَّبِيًّۭا And mention in the Book Isma'eel; indeed he was truthful to the pledge and was a messenger, a revolutionary leader.

And make mention in the Scripture of Ishmael. Lo! he was a keeper of his promise, and he was a messenger (of Allah), a prophet. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And was
يَأْمُرُ
commanding
أَهْلَهُۥ
his family
بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
about the Order
وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ
and the Emancipation,
وَكَانَ
and was
عِندَ
near
رَبِّهِۦ
his Rabb
مَرْضِيًّۭا
having acknowledgement.
And was commanding his family about the Order and the Emancipation, and was near his Rabb having acknowledgement.

He enjoined upon his people worship and almsgiving, and was acceptable in the sight of his Lord. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

He used to bid his family to [maintain] the prayer and to [pay] the zakat, and was pleasing to his Lord. - Qarai, Ali Quli

He would order his people to worship God and pay the religious tax. His Lord was pleased with him. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Idrees;

a truthful
نَّبِيًّۭا
revolutionary leader.
And cite in the Book Idrees; indeed he was a truthful revolutionary leader.

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ مِن ذُرِّيَّةِ ءَادَمَ وَمِمَّنْ حَمَلْنَا مَعَ نُوحٍۢ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّةِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ وَمِمَّنْ هَدَيْنَا وَٱجْتَبَيْنَآ ۚ إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ خَرُّوا۟ سُجَّدًۭا وَبُكِيًّۭا ⌂ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

These are they unto whom Allah showed favour from among the prophets, of the seed of Adam and of those whom We carried (in the ship) with Noah, and of the seed of Abraham and Israel, and from among those whom We guided and chose. When the revelations of the Beneficent were recited unto them, they fell down, adoring and weeping. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

They are the ones whom Allah has blessed from among the prophets of Adam]s progeny, and from [the progeny of] those We carried with Noah, and from among the progeny of Abraham and Israel, and from among those that We guided and chose. When the signs of the All-beneficent were recited to them, they would fall down weeping in prostration. - Qarai, Ali Quli

These were the Prophets from the offspring of Adam, from those who embarked with Noah and from the offspring of Abraham and Israel. God guided them and chose them for His favor. Whenever they would hear the revelations of the Beneficent God they would bow down in prostration with tears. - Sarwar, Muhammad

These are they on whom Allah bestowed favors, from among the prophets of the seed of Adam, and of those whom We carried with Nuh, and of the seed of Ibrahim and Israel, and of those whom We guided and chose; when the communications of the Beneficent Allah were recited to them, they fell down making obeisance and weeping. - Shakir, Habib

These are the ones whom God has favoured: the prophets from among the descendants of Adam and of those whom We carried in the Ark with Noah; the descendants of Abraham, of Israel, and of those whom We have guided and chosen. یہ سب وہ انبیائ ہیں جن پر اللہ نے نعمت نازل کی ہے ذرّیت آدم میں سے اور ان کی نسل میں سے جن کو ہم نے نوح علیھ السّلامکے ساتھ کشتی میں اٹھایا ہے اور ابراہیم علیھ السّلام و اسرائیل علیھ السّلامکی ذرّیت میں سے اور ان میں سے جن کو ہم نے ہدایت دی ہے اور انہیں منتخب بنایا ہے کہ جب ان کے سامنے رحمان کی آیتیں پڑھی جاتی ہیں تو روتے ہوئے سجدہ میں گر پڑتے ہیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

یہ وہ پیغمبر ہیں جن پر اللہ نے انعام فرمایا آدمؑ کی اولاد میں سے، اور اُن لوگوں کی نسل سے جنہیں ہم نے نوحؑ کے ساتھ کشتی پر سوار کیا تھا، ا ور ابراہیمؑ کی نسل سے اور اسرائیلؑ کی نسل سے اور یہ ان لوگوں میں سے تھے جن کو ہم نے ہدایت بخشی اور برگزیدہ کیا ان کا حال یہ تھا کہ جب رحمان کی آیات ان کو سنائی جاتیں تو روتے ہوئے سجدے میں گر جاتے تھے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

یہ ہیں جن پر ا لله نے احسان کیا غیب کی خبریں بتانے میں سے آدم کی اولاد سے اور ان میں جن کو ہم نے نوح کے ساتھ سوار کیا تھا اور ابراہیم اور یعقوب کی اولاد سے اور ان میں سے جنہیں ہم نے راہ دکھائی اور چن لیا جب ان پر رحمن کی آیتیں پڑھی جاتیں گر پڑتے سجدہ کرتے اور روتے (السجدة) - Ahmed Raza

فَخَلَفَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ خَلْفٌ أَضَاعُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَلْقَوْنَ غَيًّا [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]
⦿
Now there hath succeeded them a later generation whom have ruined worship and have followed lusts. But they will meet deception. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

But they were succeeded by an evil posterity who neglected the prayer, and followed [their base] appetites. So they will soon encounter [the reward of] perversity, - Qarai, Ali Quli

They were succeeded by a generation who neglected their prayers and followed their worldly desires. They will certainly be lost, - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
But there came after them an evil generation, who neglected prayers and followed and sensual desires, so they win meet perdition, - Shakir, Habib

But then they were succeeded by generations who neglected their prayers and were driven by their own desires. They will assuredly meet with destruction, - Wahiduddin Khan

پھر ان کے بعد ان کی جگہ پر وہ لوگ آئے جنہوں نے نماز کو برباد کردیا اور خواہشات کا اتباع کرلیا پس یہ عنقریب اپنی گمراہی سے جاملیں گے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

پھر ان کے بعد وہ ناخلف لوگ ان کے جانشین ہوئے جنہوں نے نماز کو ضائع کیا اور خواہشاتِ نفس کی پیروی کی، پس قریب ہے کہ وہ گمراہی کے انجام سے دوچار ہوں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

Save him who shall repent and believe and do right. Such will enter the Garden, and they will not be wronged in aught - - Pickthall, Marmaduke
