Fulfil the covenant of Allah when ye have covenanted, and break not your oaths after the asseveration of them, and after ye have made Allah surety over you. Lo! Allah knoweth what ye do. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Fulfill Allah]s covenant when you pledge, and do not break [your] oaths, after pledging them solemnly and having made Allah a witness over yourselves. Indeed Allah knows what you do. - Qarai, Ali Quli

And be not like unto her who unravelleth the thread, after she hath made it strong, to thin filaments, making your oaths a deceit between you because of a nation being more numerous than (another) nation. Allah only trieth you thereby, and He verily will explain to you on the Day of Resurrection that wherein ye differed. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Do not be like her who would undo her yarn, breaking it up after [spinning it to] strength, by making your oaths a means of [mutual] deceit among yourselves, so that one community may become more affluent than another community. Do not be like the lady behind the spinning wheel who has broken the yarn by pulling it with unnecessary force. You must not consider your oaths as means of deceit to benefit one party and incur loss upon the other. God tests your faith by your oaths. He will make clear to you who was right and who was wrong on the Day of Judgment. - Sarwar, Muhammad

You make your oaths to be means of deceit between you because (one) nation is more numerous than (another) nation. تمہاری حالت اُس عورت کی سی نہ ہو جائے جس نے آپ ہی محنت سے سوت کاتا اور پھر آپ ہی اسے ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر ڈالا تم اپنی قسموں کو آپس کے معاملات میں مکر و فریب کا ہتھیار بناتے ہو تاکہ ایک قوم دوسری قوم سے بڑھ کر فائدے حاصل کرے حالاں کہ اللہ اس عہد و پیمان کے ذریعہ سے تم کو آزمائش میں ڈالتا ہے، اور ضرور وہ قیامت کے روز تمہارے تمام اختلافات کی حقیقت تم پر کھول دے گا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور اس عورت کی طرح نہ ہو جس نے اپنا سُوت مضبوطی کے بعد ریزہ ریزہ کرکے توڑ دیا اپنی قسمیں آپس میں ایک بے اصل بہانہ بناتے ہو کہ کہیں ایک گروہ دوسرے گروہ سے زیادہ نہ ہو اللہ تو اس سے تمہیں آزماتا ہے اور ضرور تم پر صاف ظاہر کردے گا قیامت کے دن جس بات میں جھگڑتے تھے، - Ahmed Raza

Make not your oaths a deceit between you, lest a foot should slip after being firmly planted and ye should taste evil forasmuch as ye debarred (men) from the way of Allah, and yours should be an awful doom. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

That which ye have wasteth away, and that which Allah hath remaineth. And verily We shall pay those who are steadfast a recompense in proportion to the best of what they used to do. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Whosoever doeth right, whether male or female, and is a believer, him verily we shall quicken with good life, and We shall pay them a recompense in proportion to the best of what they used to do. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

فَإِذَا
Then, whenever
قَرَأْتَ
you read
ٱلْقُرْءَانَ
the Proclamatory Reading,
فَٱسْتَعِذْ
thus seek refuge
بِٱللَّهِ
with the One
مِنَ
from
ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ
the deviant,
ٱلرَّجِيمِ
the one who is stuck (in mind).
Then, whenever you read the Proclamatory Reading, thus seek refuge with the One from the deviant, the one who is stuck (in mind).

And when thou recitest the Qur'an, seek refuge in Allah from Satan the outcast. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

بَدَّلْنَآ
We change
ءَايَةًۭ

وَٱللَّهُ
and the One is
أَعْلَمُ
of knowledge
بِمَا
with what
يُنَزِّلُ
He sends down,
قَالُوٓا۟
they say,
إِنَّمَآ
[Certainly
أَنتَ
you are
مُفْتَرٍۭ
an inventor],
ۚ
بَلْ
but
أَكْثَرُهُمْ
many of them are
لَا
not
يَعْلَمُونَ
knowing.

وَإِذَا بَدَّلْنَآ ءَايَةًۭ مَّكَانَ ءَايَةٍۢ ۙ وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُنَزِّلُ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُفْتَرٍۭ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ And whenever We change a sign in place of a sign, and the One is of knowledge with what He sends down, they say, [Certainly you are an inventor], but many of them are not knowing.

And when We put a revelation in place of (another) revelation, - and Allah knoweth best what He revealeth - they say: Lo! thou art but inventing. Most of them know not. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

When We change a sign for another in its stead—and Allah knows best what He sends down—they say, [You are indeed a fabricator.] Indeed, most of them do not know. - Qarai, Ali Quli

When God replaces one revelation with another, He knows best what to reveal. But they say, [(Muhammad), you have falsely invented it.] Most people are ignorant. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And when We change (one) communication for (another) communication, and Allah knows best what He reveals, they say: You are only a forger. Nay, most of them do not know. - Shakir, Habib

When We substitute one revelation for another, and God knows best what He reveals, they say, [You are but a fabricator.] Indeed, most of them have no knowledge. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور ہم جب ایک آیت کی جگہ پر دوسری آیت تبدیل کرتے ہیں تو اگرچہ خدا خوب جانتا ہے کہ وہ کیا نازل کررہا ہے لیکن یہ لوگ یہی کہتے ہیں کہ محمد تم افترا کرنے والے ہو حالانکہ ان کی اکثریت کچھ نہیں جانتی ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

جب ہم ایک آیت کی جگہ دوسری آیت نازل کرتے ہیں اور اللہ بہتر جانتا ہے کہ وہ کیا نازل کرے تو یہ لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ تم یہ قرآن خو د گھڑ تے ہو اصل بات یہ ہے کہ اِن میں سے اکثر لوگ حقیقت سے ناواقف ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala
