We have created the human being out of pure mud-moulded clay - Sarwar, Muhammad

And certainly We created man of clay that gives forth sound, of black mud fashioned in shape. - Shakir, Habib

وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى خَٰلِقٌۢ بَشَرًۭا مِّن صَلْصَٰلٍۢ مِّنْ حَمَإٍۢ مَّسْنُونٍۢ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And (remember) when thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am creating a mortal out of potter's clay of black mud altered, - Pickthall, Marmaduke

When your Lord said to the angels, [Indeed I am going to create a human out of a dry clay [drawn] from an aging mud. - Qarai, Ali Quli

When your Lord said to the angels, [I will create the human being out of pure mud-moulded clay. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And when your Lord said to the angels: Surely I am going to create a mortal of the essence of black mud fashioned in shape. - Shakir, Habib

Thus, prostrated (to command) the malaikati, all of them collectively.

[O Iblees!

you became

ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ
the executers of service?]
(The One) said, [O Iblees! What is for you except not you became with the executers of service?]

He said: O Iblis! What aileth thee that thou art not among the prostrate? - Pickthall, Marmaduke

He said, [O Iblis! What kept you from being among those who have prostrated?] - Qarai, Ali Quli

God asked Iblis, [What made you not join the others in prostration?] - Sarwar, Muhammad

He said: O Iblis! what excuse have you that you are not with those who make obeisance? - Shakir, Habib

God asked him, [What is the matter with you, that you are not among those who have prostrated themselves?] - Wahiduddin Khan

(The One) said,
فَٱخْرُجْ
[Then get out
مِنْهَا
from this,
فَإِنَّكَ
thus it is that
رَجِيمٌۭ
you are an outcast!]
(The One) said, [Then get out from this, thus it is that you are an outcast!]

He said: Then go thou forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

He said, [Begone hence, for you are indeed an outcast, - Qarai, Ali Quli

God told him, [Get out of the garden; you are rejected - Sarwar, Muhammad

He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: - Shakir, Habib

God said, [Then get out of here; for you are accursed, - Wahiduddin Khan

ارشاد ہوا کہ تو یہاں سے نکل جا کہ تو مردود ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

ٱللَّعْنَةَ
the banishment
إِلَىٰ

يَوْمِ

ٱلدِّينِ
the governance system.]
[And indeed upon you is the banishment up until day of the governance system.]
⦿
And lo! the curse shall be upon thee till the Day of Judgment. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

and indeed the curse shall lie on you until the Day of Retribution.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

they will be raised.]
Iblees replied, [O Rabb! Respite me up till day they will be raised.]

He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

He said, [My Lord! Respite me till the day they will be resurrected.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

Iblis prayed, [Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Judgment]. - Sarwar, Muhammad

He said: My Lord! then respite me till the time when they are raised. - Shakir, Habib

Satan said, [O my Lord! Grant me respite till the Day of Resurrection.] - Wahiduddin Khan

اس نے کہا کہ پروردگار مجھے روز حشر تک کی مہلت دیدے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اُس نے عرض کیا ——میرے رب، یہ بات ہے تو پھر مجھے اُس روز تک کے لیے مہلت دے جبکہ سب انسان دوبارہ اٹھائے جائیں گے—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

بولا اے میرے رب تو مجھے مہلت دے اس دن تک کہ وہ اٹھائے جائیں - Ahmed Raza

اس نے کہا کہ اے میرے رب! مجھے اس دن تک مہلت دے جب لوگ دوبارہ اٹھائے جائیں گے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
