فَلَمَّا ذَهَبُوا۟ بِهِۦ وَأَجْمَعُوٓا۟ أَن يَجْعَلُوهُ فِى غَيَٰبَتِ ٱلْجُبِّ ۚ وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِ لَتُنَبِّئَنَّهُم بِأَمْرِهِمْ هَٰذَا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Then, when they led him off, and were of one mind that they should place him in the depth of the pit, We inspired in him: Thou wilt tell them of this deed of theirs when they know (thee) not. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

So when they took him away and conspired to put him into the recess of a well, We revealed to him, [[A day will come when] you will surely inform them about this affair of theirs while they are not aware [of your identity].] - Qarai, Ali Quli

When they took Joseph with them, they agreed to throw him into the well. We revealed to Joseph that (sometime) in the future at a time when they would not recognize him, he would remind them of all this. - Sarwar, Muhammad

So when they had gone off with him and agreed that they should put him down at the bottom of the pit, and We revealed to him: You will most certainly inform them of this their affair while they do not perceive. - Shakir, Habib

اِس طرح اصرار کر کے جب وہ اُسے لے گئے اور انہوں نے طے کر لیا کہ اسے ایک اندھے کنویں میں چھوڑ دیں، تو ہم نے یوسفؑ کو وحی کی کہ ——ایک وقت آئے گا جب تو ان لوگوں کو ان کی یہ حرکت جتائے گا، یہ اپنے فعل کے نتائج سے بے خبر ہیں—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

پھر جب اسے لے گئے اور سب کی رائے یہی ٹھہری کہ اسے اندھے کنویں میں ڈال دیں اور ہم نے اسے وحی بھیجی کہ ضرور تو انہیں ان کا یہ کام جتادے گا ایسے وقت کہ وہ نہ جانتے ہوں گے - Ahmed Raza

And they came with false blood on his shirt. He said: Nay, but your minds have beguiled you into something. (My course is) comely patience. And Allah it is Whose help is to be sought in that (predicament) which ye describe. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And they produced sham blood on his shirt. He said, [No, your souls have made a matter seem decorous to you. Yet patience is graceful, and Allah is my resort against what you allege.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

اور وہ یوسفؑ کے قمیص پر جھوٹ موٹ کا خون لگا کر آئے تھے یہ سن کر ان کے باپ نے کہا ——بلکہ تمہارے نفس نے تمہارے لیے ایک بڑے کام کو آسان بنا دیا اچھا، صبر کروں گا اور بخوبی کروں گا، جو بات تم بنا رہے ہو اس پر اللہ ہی سے مدد مانگی جا سکتی ہے—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

ادھر ایک قافلہ آیا اور اُس نے اپنے سقے کو پانی لانے کے لیے بھیجا سقے نے جو کنویں میں ڈول ڈالا تو (یوسفؑ کو دیکھ کر) پکار اٹھا ——مبارک ہو، یہاں تو ایک لڑکا ہے—— ان لوگوں نے اس کو مال تجارت سمجھ کر چھپا لیا، حالانکہ جو کچھ وہ کر رہے تھے خدا اس سے باخبر تھا - Maududi, Abul A'ala
