وَيَٰقَوْمِ ٱعْمَلُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمْ إِنِّى عَٰمِلٌۭ ۖ سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ مَن يَأْتِيهِ عَذَابٌۭ يُخْزِيهِ وَمَنْ هُوَ كَٰذِبٌۭ ۖ وَٱرْتَقِبُوٓا۟ إِنِّى مَعَكُمْ رَقِيبٌۭ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

وَلَمَّا جَآءَ أَمْرُنَا نَجَّيْنَا شُعَيْبًۭا وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَهُۥ بِرَحْمَةٍۢ مِّنَّا وَأَخَذَتِ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ فِى دِيَٰرِهِمْ جَٰثِمِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And when Our commandment came to pass We saved Shu'eyb and those who believed with him by a mercy from Us; and the (Awful) Cry seized those who did injustice, and morning found them prostrate in their dwellings, - Pickthall, Marmaduke

When Our edict came, We delivered Shu[ayb and the faithful who were with him by a mercy from Us. And the Cry seized those who were wrongdoers, whereat they lay lifeless prostrate in their homes, - Qarai, Ali Quli

When Our decree came to pass, We mercifully saved Shu'ayb and his faithful followers. A blast struck the unjust and left them in their homes, lying motionless on their faces, - Sarwar, Muhammad

And when Our decree came to pass We delivered Shu'aib, and those who believed with him by mercy from Us, and the rumbling overtook those who were unjust so they became motionless bodies in their abodes, - Shakir, Habib

When Our command came, We saved Shu'ayb and those who believed with him as a mercy from Ourself, while the blast overtook the wrongdoers, so that they lay dead in their homes, - Wahiduddin Khan

اور جب ہمارا حکم (عذاب)آگیا تو ہم نے شعیب اور ان کے ساتھ ایمان لانے والوں کو اپنی رحمت سے بچالیا اور ظلم کرنے والوں کو ایک چنگھاڑنے پکڑ لیا تو وہ اپنے دیار ہی میں الٹ پلٹ ہوگئے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

آخر کار جب ہمارے فیصلے کا وقت آ گیا تو ہم نے اپنی رحمت سے شعیبؑ اور اس کے ساتھی مومنوں کو بچا لیا اور جن لوگوں نے ظلم کیا تھا ان کو ایک سخت دھماکے نے ایسا پکڑا کہ وہ اپنی بستیوں میں بے حس و حرکت پڑے کے پڑے رہ گئے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

We wronged them not, but they did wrong themselves; and their gods on whom they call beside Allah availed them naught when came thy Lord's command; they added to them naught save ruin. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

We did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves. When your Lord]s edict came, their gods whom they would invoke besides Allah were of no avail to them in any wise, and they did not increase them in anything but ruin. - Qarai, Ali Quli

We were not unjust to them but they were unjust to themselves. The idols which they worshipped instead of God were of no help to them when Our decree came to pass. The idols only brought about their destruction. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And We did not do them injustice, but they were unjust to themselves, so their gods whom they called upon besides Allah did not avail them aught when the decree of your Lord came to pass; and they added but to their ruin. - Shakir, Habib

Even thus is the grasp of thy Lord when He graspeth the townships while they are doing wrong. Lo! His grasp is painful, very strong. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

اور تیرا رب جب کسی ظالم بستی کو پکڑتا ہے تو پھر اس کی پکڑ ایسی ہی ہوا کرتی ہے، فی الواقع اس کی پکڑ بڑی سخت اور درد ناک ہوتی ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور ایسی ہی پکڑ ہے تیرے رب کی جب بستیوں کو پکڑتا ہے ان کے ظلم پر، بیشک اس کی پکڑ دردناک کرّ ی ہے - Ahmed Raza

اور آپ کا پروردگار جب ظالم بستیوں کو پکڑتا ہے (یعنی ان کے باشندوں کو ان کے ظلم و تعدی کی وجہ سے پکڑتا ہے) تو اس کی پکڑ ایسی ہوتی ہے بے شک اس کی پکڑ بڑی دردناک (اور) سخت ہوتی ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
