Hood [ 11:1 ] هود

الٓر

Alif - Laam - Raa

كِتَٰبٌ

A book

أُحْكِمَتْ

which determines

ءَايَٰتُهُۥ

His signs,

ثُمَّ

then

فُصِّلَتْ

explains

مِن

from

لَّدُنْ

gentleness of

حَكِيمٍ

wisdom of

خَبِيرٍ

being informed.

١١

الٓر ۚ كِتَٰبٌ أُحْكِمَتْ ءَايَٰتُهُۥ ثُمَّ فُصِّلَتْ مِن لَّدُنْ حَكِيمٍ خَبِيرٍ

Alif - Laam - Raa A book which determines His signs, then explains from gentleness of wisdom of being informed.

Alif. Lam. Ra. (This is) a Scripture the revelations whereof are perfected and then expounded. (It cometh) from One Wise, Informed,

أَلَّا

Not

تَعْبُدُوٓا۟

you are follow

إِلَّا

ٱللَّهَ

إِنَّنِى

indeed I am

لَكُم

to you

مِّنْهُ

from

نَذِيرٌۭ

notifiers

وَبَشِيرٌۭ

and news givers.

١١

أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوٓا۟ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّنِى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌۭ وَبَشِيرٌۭ

Not you are follow except the One; indeed I am to you from notifiers and news givers.

(Saying): Serve none but Allah. Lo! I am unto you from Him a warner and a bringer of good tidings.

declaring: [Worship no one but Allah. I am indeed a warner to you from Him and a bearer of good news.

(It teaches), [People, do not worship anyone besides God. I, (Muhammad), am His Messenger sent to warn you and to give you the glad news.

That you shall not serve (any) but Allah; surely I am a warner for you from Him and a giver of good news,

کہ بندگی نہ کرو مگر اللہ کی بیشک میں تمہارے لیے اس کی طرف سے ڈر اور خوشی سنانے والا ہوں

(اس کا خلاصہ یہ ہے کہ) اللہ کے سوا کسی کی عبادت (بندگی) نہ کرو بلاشبہ میں اس کی طرف سے تمہیں ڈرانے والا اور خوشخبری دینے والا ہوں۔

وَأَنِ

And if

ٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟

you seek pardon of

رَبَّكُمْ

your Rabb

ثُمَّ

then

تُوبُوٓا۟

return

إِلَيْهِ

to Him,

يُمَتِّعْكُم

He will provide for you

مَّتَٰعًا

provisions

حَسَنًا

that are beautiful

إِلَىٰٓ

till

أَجَلٍۢ

a time

مُّسَمًّۭى

indentified,

وَيُؤْتِ

and He gives

كُلَّ

every

ذِى

possessor of

فَضْلٍۢ

grace,

فَضْلَهُۥ

His favour;

وَإِن

and if

تَوَلَّوْا۟

you turn your back

فَإِنِّىٓ

then I am

أَخَافُ

fearful

عَلَيْكُمْ

upon you for

عَذَابَ

a punishment of

يَوْمٍۢ

a day

كَبِيرٍ

that is great.

١١

وَأَنِ ٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ ثُمَّ تُوبُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ يُمَتِّعْكُم مَّتَٰعًا حَسَنًا إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍۢ مُّسَمًّۭى وَيُؤْتِ كُلَّ ذِى فَضْلٍۢ فَضْلَهُۥ ۖ وَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَإِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍۢ كَبِيرٍ

And if you seek pardon of your Rabb then return to Him, He will provide for you provisions that are beautiful till a time indentified, and He gives every possessor of grace, His favour; and if you turn your back then I am fearful upon you for a punishment of a day that is great.

⦿

And (bidding you): Ask pardon of your Lord and turn to Him repentant. He will cause you to enjoy a fair estate until a time appointed. He giveth His bounty unto every bountiful one. But if ye turn away, lo! (then) I fear for you the retribution of an awful Day.

Plead with your Lord for forgiveness, then turn to Him penitently. He will provide you with a good provision for a specified term and grant His grace to every meritorious person. But if you turn your backs [on Him], indeed I fear for you the punishment of a terrible day.

[Seek forgiveness from your Lord and turn to Him in repentance for your sins. He will provide you good sustenance for an appointed time and will reward everyone according to his merits. I am afraid that you will suffer torment on the great Day (of Judgment) if you turn away (from God).

And you that ask forgiveness of your Lord, then turn to Him; He will provide you with a goodly provision to an appointed term and bestow His grace on every one endowed with grace, and if you turn back, then surely I fear for you the chastisement of a great day.

Seek forgiveness from your Lord; then turn towards Him [in repentance]. He will make generous provision for you for an appointed term and will bestow His grace on all who merit it! But if you turn away, then I fear for you the torment of a dreadful Day:

اور اپنے رب سے استغفار کرو پھر اس کی طرف متوجہ ہوجاؤ وہ تم کو مقررہ مدّت میں بہترین فائدہ عطا کرے گا اور صاحبِ فضل کو اس کے فضل کا حق دے گا اور میں تمہارے بارے میں ایک بڑے دن کے عذاب سے خوفزدہ ہوں

اور یہ کہ تم اپنے رب سے معافی چاہو اور اس کی طرف پلٹ آؤ تو وہ ایک مدت خاص تک تم کو اچھا سامان زندگی دے گا اور ہر صاحب فضل کو اس کا فضل عطا کرے گا لیکن اگر تم منہ پھیرتے ہو تو میں تمہارے حق میں ایک بڑے ہولناک دن کے عذاب سے ڈرتا ہوں

اور یہ کہ اپنے رب سے معافی مانگو پھر اس کی طرف توبہ کرو تمہیں بہت اچھا برتنا (فائدہ اٹھانا) دے گا ایک ٹھہرائے وعدہ تک اور ہر فضیلت والے کو اس کا فضل پہنچائے گا اور اگر منہ پھیرو تو میں تم پر بڑے دن کے عذاب کا خوف کرتا ہوں،

اور یہ کہ اپنے پروردگار سے مغفرت طلب کرو پھر اس کی بارگاہ میں توبہ کرو (اس کی طرف رجوع کرو) وہ تمہیں مقررہ مدت (تک زندگی کے) اچھے فوائد سے بہرہ مند کرے گا۔ اور ہر صاحبِ فضل (زیادہ عمل کرنے والے) کو اس کے درجہ کے مطابق عطا فرمائے گا اور اگر تم نے روگردانی کی تو میں تمہارے بارے میں ایک بڑے دن کے عذاب سے ڈرتا ہوں۔

Towards

ٱللَّهِ

the One

مَرْجِعُكُمْ

you are to return;

وَهُوَ

and He is

عَلَىٰ

upon

كُلِّ

all

شَىْءٍۢ

things

قَدِيرٌ

an assigner of value.

١١

إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌ

Towards the One you are to return; and He is upon all things an assigner of value.

أَلَآ إِنَّهُمْ يَثْنُونَ صُدُورَهُمْ لِيَسْتَخْفُوا۟ مِنْهُ ۚ أَلَا حِينَ يَسْتَغْشُونَ ثِيَابَهُمْ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ

⦿

Lo! now they fold up their breasts that they may hide (their thoughts) from Him. At the very moment when they cover themselves with their clothing, Allah knoweth that which they keep hidden and that which they proclaim. Lo! He is Aware of what is in the breasts (of men).

Look! They fold up their breasts to hide [their secret feelings] from Him. Look! When they draw their cloaks over their heads, He knows whatever they keep secret and whatever they disclose. Indeed, He knows best whatever is in the breasts.

(The unbelievers) cover their breasts to try to hide their disbelief from God. But He knows very well whatever they conceal or reveal even when they cover themselves with their garments. God certainly knows the inner-most (secrets) of the hearts.

Now surely they fold up their breasts that they may conceal (their enmity) from Him; now surely, when they use their garments as a covering, He knows what they conceal and what they make public; surely He knows what is in the breasts.

See how they cover themselves up to hide [their thoughts] from Him. But when they cover themselves up with their garments, He knows what they hide and what they reveal. He knows their innermost thoughts.

آگاہ ہوجاؤ کہ یہ لوگ اپنے سینوں کو دہرائے لے رہے ہیں کہ اس طرح پیغمبر سے چھپ جائیں تو آگاہ رہیں کہ یہ جب اپنے کپڑوں کو خوب لپیٹ لیتے ہیں تو اس وقت بھی وہ ان کے ظاہر و باطن دونوں کو جانتا ہے کہ وہ تمام سینوں کے رازوں کا جاننے والا ہے

دیکھو! یہ لوگ اپنے سینوں کو موڑتے ہیں تاکہ اس سے چھپ جائیں خبردار! جب یہ کپڑوں سے اپنے آپ کو ڈھانپتے ہیں، اللہ ان کے چھپے کو بھی جانتا ہے اور کھلے کو بھی، وہ تو اُن بھیدوں سے بھی واقف ہے جو سینوں میں ہیں

سنو وہ اپنے سینے دوہرے کرتے (منہ چھپاتے) ہیں کہ اللہ سے پردہ کریں سنو جس وقت وہ اپنے کپڑوں سے سارا بدن ڈھانپ لیتے ہیں اس وقت بھی اللہ ان کا چھپا اور ظاہر سب کچھ جانتا ہے بیشک وہ دلوں کی بات جاننے والا ہے،

آگاہ ہو جاؤ یہ (منافق) لوگ اپنے سینوں کو دوہرا کر رہے ہیں تاکہ اس (اللہ یا رسول) سے چھپ جائیں مگر یاد رکھو جب یہ لوگ اپنے (سارے) کپڑے اپنے اوپر اوڑھ لیتے ہیں تو (تب بھی) وہ (اللہ) وہ بھی جانتا ہے جو کچھ وہ چھپاتے ہیں اور وہ بھی جو کچھ وہ ظاہر کرتے ہیں (کیونکہ) بے شک وہ تو ان رازوں سے بھی خوف واقف ہے جو سینوں کے اندر ہیں۔

وَمَا مِن دَآبَّةٍۢ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱللَّهِ رِزْقُهَا وَيَعْلَمُ مُسْتَقَرَّهَا وَمُسْتَوْدَعَهَا ۚ كُلٌّۭ فِى كِتَٰبٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ

⦿

And there is not a beast in the earth but the sustenance thereof dependeth on Allah. He knoweth its habitation and its repository. All is in a clear Record.

There is no animal on the earth, but that its sustenance lies with Allah, and He knows its [enduring] abode and its temporary place of lodging. Everything is in a manifest Book.

There is no living creature on earth that does not receive sustenance from God. He knows its dwelling and resting place. Everything is recorded in the glorious Book.

زمین میں چلنے والا کوئی جاندار ایسا نہیں ہے جس کا رزق اللہ کے ذمے نہ ہو اور جس کے متعلق وہ نہ جانتا ہو کہ کہاں وہ رہتا ہے اور کہاں وہ سونپا جاتا ہے، سب کچھ ایک صاف دفتر میں درج ہے

اور زمین پر چلنے والا کوئی ایسا نہیں جس کا رزق اللہ کے ذمہٴ کرم پر نہ ہو اور جانتا ہے کہ کہاں ٹھہرے گا اور کہاں سپرد ہوگا سب کچھ ایک صاف بیان کرنے والی کتاب میں ہے،

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍۢ وَكَانَ عَرْشُهُۥ عَلَى ٱلْمَآءِ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًۭا ۗ وَلَئِن قُلْتَ إِنَّكُم مَّبْعُوثُونَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ٱلْمَوْتِ لَيَقُولَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ

⦿

And He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days - and His Throne was upon the water - that He might try you, which of you is best in conduct. Yet if thou (O Muhammad) sayest: Lo! ye will be raised again after death! those who disbelieve will surely say: This is naught but mere magic.

It is He who created the heavens and the earth in six days—and His Throne was [then] upon the waters—that He may test you [to see] which of you is best in conduct. Yet if you say, [You will indeed be raised up after death,] the faithless will surely say, [This is nothing but plain magic.]

God created the heavens and the earth in six days. His Throne existed on water so that He could test you and find out those among you who do good deeds. (Muhammad), if you were to tell them that after death they would be brought back to life again, the unbelievers would say, [This is nothing but obvious magic.]

And He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods-- and His dominion (extends) on the water-- that He might manifest to you, which of you is best in action, and if you say, surely you shall be raised up after death, those who disbelieve would certainly say: This is nothing but clear magic.

Enthroned above the waters, it was He who created the heavens and the earth in six Days [periods], in order to test which of you is best in conduct. If you say, [You will [all] be raised up after death,] those who deny the truth will say, [This is just sheer sorcery!]

اور وہی وہ ہے جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو چھ دنوں میں پیدا کیا ہے اور اس کا تخت اقتدار پانی پر تھا تاکہ تمہیں آزمائے کہ تم میں سب سے بہتر عمل کرنے والا کون ہے اور اگر آپ کہیں گے کہ تم لوگ موت کے بعد پھر اٹھائے جانے والے ہو تو یہ کافر کہیں گے کہ یہ تو صرف ایک کھلا ہوا جادو ہے

وَلَئِنْ أَخَّرْنَا عَنْهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابَ إِلَىٰٓ أُمَّةٍۢ مَّعْدُودَةٍۢ لَّيَقُولُنَّ مَا يَحْبِسُهُۥٓ ۗ أَلَا يَوْمَ يَأْتِيهِمْ لَيْسَ مَصْرُوفًا عَنْهُمْ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ

And if We delay for them the doom until a reckoned time, they will surely say: What withholdeth it? Verily on the day when it cometh unto them, it cannot be averted from them, and that which they derided will surround them.

And if We defer their punishment until a certain time, they will surely say, [What holds it back?] Look! On the day it overtakes them it shall not be turned away from them, and they will be besieged by what they used to deride.

If We delay in afflicting them with Our punishment for an appointed time, they ask, [What is preventing it (the punishment) from taking place?] On the day when it (punishment) befalls them, no one will be able to escape from it and that which they have mocked will surround them from all sides.

And if We hold back from them the punishment until a stated period of time, they will certainly say: What prevents it? Now surely on the day when it will come to them, it shall not be averted from them and that which they scoffed at shall beset them.

اور اگر ہم ان کے عذاب کو ایک معینہ مدّت کے لئے ٹال دیں تو طنز کریں گے کہ عذاب کو کس چیز نے روک لیا ہے -آگاہ ہوجاؤ کہ جس دن عذاب آجائے گا تو پھر پلٹنے والا نہیں ہے اور پھر وہ عذاب ان کو ہر طرف سے گھیر لے گا جس کا یہ مذاق اڑا رہے تھے

اور اگر ہم ایک خاص مدت تک ان کی سزا کو ٹالتے ہیں تو وہ کہنے لگتے ہیں کہ آخر کس چیز نے اُسے روک رکھا ہے؟ سنو! جس روز اُس سزا کا وقت آگیا تو وہ کسی کے پھیرے نہ پھر سکے گا اور وہی چیز ان کو آ گھیرے گی جس کا وہ مذاق اڑا رہے ہیں

اور اگر ہم ان سے عذاب کچھ گنتی کی مدت تک ہٹادیں تو ضرور کہیں گے کس چیز نے روکا ہے سن لو جس دن ان پر آئے گا ان سے پھیرا نہ جائے گا، اور انہیں گھیرے گا وہی عذاب جس کی ہنسی اڑاتے تھے

اور اگر ہم ان پر عذاب نازل کرنے میں ایک مقررہ مدت تک تاخیر بھی کر دیں تو وہ ضرور یہ کہیں گے کہ کون سی چیز نے اسے روک رکھا ہے؟ یاد رکھو جس دن ان پر وہ (عذاب) آئے گا تو پھر اسے پھیرا نہ جا سکے گا۔ اور انہیں وہ (عذاب) گھیر لے گا جس کا وہ مذاق اڑایا کرتے تھے۔

And if we cause man to taste some mercy from Us and afterward withdraw it from him, lo! he is despairing, thankless.

And if We cause him to taste grace after some misfortune that had befallen him, he saith: The ills have gone from me. Lo! he is exultant, boastful;

And if We let him have a taste of Our blessings after adversities have befallen him, he will surely say, [All ills have left me.] Indeed, he becomes a vain braggart,

If after his hardship, We grant him a blessing, he grows proud and rejoicing and says, [All my hardships have gone].

And if We make him taste a favor after distress has afflicted him, he will certainly say: The evils are gone away from me. Most surely he is exulting, boasting;

And if, after adversity, We let him taste good fortune he says, [All my ills are gone.] He becomes exultant and boastful.

اور اگر تکلیف پہنچنے کے بعد نعمت اور آرام کا مزہ چکھا دیتے ہیں تو کہتا ہے کہ اب تو ہماری ساری برائیاں چلی گئیں اور وہ خوش ہوکر اکڑنے لگتا ہے

اور اگر اُس مصیبت کے بعد جو اُس پر آئی تھی ہم اسے نعمت کا مزا چکھاتے ہیں تو کہتا ہے میرے تو سارے دلدر پار ہو گئے، پھر وہ پھولا نہیں سماتا اور اکڑنے لگتا ہے

اور اگر ہم اسے نعمت کا مزہ دیں اس مصیبت کے بعد جس اسے پہنچی تو ضرور کہے گا کہ برائیاں مجھ سے دور ہوئیں بیشک وہ خوش ہونے والا بڑائی مارنے والا ہے

اور اگر ہم کسی سختی و تکلیف کے پہنچنے کے بعد کسی نعمت و راحت کا مزہ چکھائیں تو (غافل ہوکر) کہہ اٹھتا ہے کہ میری تمام برائیاں چلی گئیں (دکھ درد دور ہوگئے)۔ بالیقین وہ (انسان) بڑا خوش ہونے والا، بڑا اترانے والا ہے۔

Hood [ 11:11 ] هود

إِلَّا

Except

ٱلَّذِينَ

the ones who

صَبَرُوا۟

persevered

وَعَمِلُوا۟

and did

ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ

the constructive things,

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ

those are

لَهُم

for whom is

مَّغْفِرَةٌۭ

pardon

وَأَجْرٌۭ

and a reward

كَبِيرٌۭ

that is great.

١١

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌۭ وَأَجْرٌۭ كَبِيرٌۭ

Except the ones who persevered and did the constructive things, those are for whom is pardon and a reward that is great.

Save those who persevere and do good works. Theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward.

فَلَعَلَّكَ تَارِكٌۢ بَعْضَ مَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَيْكَ وَضَآئِقٌۢ بِهِۦ صَدْرُكَ أَن يَقُولُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ كَنزٌ أَوْ جَآءَ مَعَهُۥ مَلَكٌ ۚ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ نَذِيرٌۭ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ وَكِيلٌ

A likely thing, that thou wouldst forsake aught of that which hath been revealed unto thee, and that thy breast should be straitened for it, because they say: Why hath not a treasure been sent down for him, or an angel come with him? Thou art but a warner, and Allah is in charge of all things.

[Look out] lest you should disregard aught of what has been revealed to you, and be upset because they say, [Why has not a treasure been sent down to him, or [why does] not an angel accompany him?] You are only a warner, and Allah watches over all things.

Perhaps you, (Muhammad), may by chance leave (untold) a part of that which is revealed to you and feel grieved because they say, [Why has some treasure not been sent to him or an angel sent down with him?] Say, [I have come only to warn you.] God is the Guardian of all things.

Then, it may be that you will give up part of what is revealed to you and your breast will become straitened by it because they say: Why has not a treasure been sent down upon him or an angel come with him? You are only a warner; and Allah is custodian over all things.

You may [feel the inclination] to leave aside a part of what is revealed to you and you may be distressed because they say, [Why has no treasure been sent down to him, why has no angel come with him?] But you are only to give warning. God is the guardian of all things.

پس کیا تم ہماری وحی کے بعض حصوں کو اس لئے ترک کرنے والے ہو یا اس سے تمہارا سینہ اس لئے تنگ ہوا ہے کہ یہ لوگ کہیں گے کہ ان کے اوپر خزانہ کیوں نہیں نازل ہوا یا ان کے ساتھ َمُلک کیوں نہیں آیا ...تو آپ صرف عذاب الٰہی سے ڈرانے والے ہیں اور اللہ ہر شئے کا نگراں اور ذمہ دار ہے

تو اے پیغمبرؐ! کہیں ایسا نہ ہو کہ تم اُن چیزوں میں سے کسی چیز کو (بیان کر نے سے) چھوڑ دو جو تمہاری طرف وحی کی جا رہی ہیں اور اِس بات پر دل تنگ ہو کہ وہ کہیں گے ——اس شخص پر کوئی خزانہ کیوں نہ اتارا گیا—— یا یہ کہ ——اس کے ساتھ کوئی فرشتہ کیوں نہ آیا—— تم تو محض خبردار کرنے والے ہو، آگے ہر چیز کا حوالہ دار اللہ ہے

تو کیا جو وحی تمہاری طرف ہوتی ہے اس میں سے کچھ تم چھوڑ دو گے اور اس پر دل تنگ ہوگے اس بناء پر کہ وہ کہتے ہیں ان کے ساتھ کوئی خزانہ کیوں نہ اترا ان کے ساتھ کوئی فرشتہ آتا، تم تو ڈر سنانے والے ہو اور اللہ ہر چیز پر محافظ ہے،

(اے پیغمبر(ص)) آپ کی طرف جو وحی کی جاتی ہے تو کیا آپ (کفار کی باتوں سے متاثر ہوکر) اس کا کچھ حصہ چھوڑ دیں گے اور کیا آپ کا سینہ تنگ ہو جائے گا کیونکہ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ان پر کوئی خزانہ کیوں نہیں اتارا گیا؟ یا ان کے ساتھ کوئی فرشتہ کیوں نہیں آیا؟ (آپ ہرگز ایسا نہیں کر سکتے اور نہ ہی کرنا چاہیئے کیونکہ) آپ تو بس (عذابِ الٰہی سے) ڈرانے والے ہیں اور اللہ ہی ہر چیز پر نگہبان ہے۔

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ ۖ قُلْ فَأْتُوا۟ بِعَشْرِ سُوَرٍۢ مِّثْلِهِۦ مُفْتَرَيَٰتٍۢ وَٱدْعُوا۟ مَنِ ٱسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

Or they say: He hath invented it. Say: Then bring ten surahs, the like thereof, invented, and call on everyone ye can beside Allah, if ye are truthful!

Do they say, [He has fabricated it?] Say, [Then bring ten surahs like it, fabricated, and invoke whomever you can, besides Allah, should you be truthful.]

Do they, (the unbelievers), say that (Muhammad) has falsely ascribed (the Quran) to God? Ask them, [Compose ten chapters like (those of the Quran) and call on whomever you can for help besides God if you are true in your claim.

Or, do they say: He has forged it. Say: Then bring ten forged chapters like it and call upon whom you can besides Allah, if you are truthful.

کیا یہ کہتے ہیں کہ پیغمبر نے یہ کتاب خود گھڑ لی ہے؟ کہو، ——اچھا یہ بات ہے تو اس جیسی گھڑی ہوئی دس سورتیں تم بنا لاؤ اور اللہ کے سوا اور جو جو (تمہارے معبود) ہیں اُن کو مدد کے لیے بلا سکتے ہو تو بلا لو اگر تم (انہیں معبود سمجھنے میں) سچے ہو

کیا یہ کہتے ہیں کہ انھوں نے اسے جی سے بنالیا، تم فرماؤ کہ تم ایسی بنائی ہوئی دس سورتیں لے آؤ اور اللہ کے سوا جو مل سکیں سب کو بلالو اگر تم سچے ہو

یا وہ یہ کہتے ہیں کہ اس شخص (آپ) نے یہ (قرآن) خود گھڑ لیا ہے؟ آپ فرمائیے اگر تم اس دعویٰ میں سچے ہو تو تم بھی اس جیسی گھڑی ہوئی دس سورتیں لے آؤ۔ اور بے شک اللہ کے سوا جس کو (اپنی مدد کیلئے) بلانا چاہتے ہو بلا لو۔

And if they answer not your prayer, then know that it is revealed only in the knowledge of Allah; and that there is no Allah save Him. Will ye then be (of) those who surrender?

This website is a work of passion. It exists only for a couple of reasons:

1) I wanted to understand the Book without involving any second-party sources of guidance i.e. exegesis, or Asbab-e-Nuzul, or extra-Quranic ahadith, etc.
2) You must also know what the bare truth is, so we can work together.

Because the process must be transparent, the entire website is available for you to download. You can go through the code, and if you can make any improvements to this process, you are most welcome to. It is a humble request to update me regarding the improvements so I can also update myself.
